Easy on and off, makes handling a large dog a breeze. My German Shepherd loves it, goes right in when ready to go out. Like the reflective strip for safety reasons as well. It also avoids the leash getting tangled with his feet unlike with regular collars. The style of this harness fits my unusual shaped dog (Welsh Corgi/Jack Russell mix). It was not lined in key areas liked it advertised, and the material was sticking out in points on the side next to the dog, which concerned me that it would rub him. I had already returned the medium size (too big), so I kept the smaller size and tapped where it was sticking out. It fits my dog well and if the company that makes the harness would improve their quality control, I think it is a good harness. GWL: this is advertised as padded in the chest and the matching dog leash handle. Adjustable straps can't be padded. If metal was sticking out it sounds like a defect and should have been immediately returned.

I bought this for our labrador retriever when he was 10 months old. His original nylon Martingale harness was in tatters. He is walked 3 miles a day, seven days a week. There has not been a single day that he has not walked in this harness–including dock dog competitions. This dog would have made a great draft horse. We gave up getting him to loose-leash walk My experience is that this harness is well, well above average. I especially like the handle. I examine it every few weeks and it still looks good with little evidence of wear. The orange has faded a bit, but it is still as good as new. Best harness I have ever purchased.
