I love this carrier! We used to have a big crate carrier and even with a blanket it was scary for my cats cuz it was like a big cold cage. This carrier is soft and a lot smaller so it’s more comforting and I find they don’t cry or struggle in it so much. It has a shoulder strap and hand straps so it’s super easy to carry. It’s the perfect size for my two medium sized cats but I have one fat one and I haven’t tried it on her yet. This pet carrier does the job in a pinch, but it’s not something I would use on a regular basis. It is small and a bit flimsy (the bottom is solid but the sides often collapse in a bit), and it has a very strong plastic-y odor that has not yet gone away (I bought it months ago). This is such a great product – I'm extremely happy we purchased this. We got it for an upcoming tent camping trip. Our dog typically sleeps in her crate at night but its too large and being metal we were afraid it would rip the tent. I found this item and couldn't be more pleased! Super convenient in its carrying case, very easy to put together, and even comes with stakes in case you do want to use it outside and make sure it doesn't blow away. For the cost too – this is such a great purchase! Notes: the color is more of a burnt orange color. The front/back zipper onto the middle section. We did opt to add another layer of cushion because the one provided is quite thin. We have a 50lb small-ish pit who likes to be super comfy all the time.
I purchased one of these right after I moved into our current home, which was over five years ago. It held up beautifully. I would take it out and hose it down now and again to keep it clean and dustless. I decided to replace it only because the dog loves it so much and it was starting to look a little shabby. He had chewed on the mesh door when he was younger and made a hole, and I was no longer able to zip him into it for the night because he would just force himself through that hole. I was very happy to see that they still make pretty much exactly the same product, although I probably shouldn't have been because it's such a good-quality item other people would surely re-buy it too. I can't praise it highly enough. I put it in the backseat and the seatbelt fits and keeps it in place. I put it in the rear passenger side and I can see him and he can see me. This is a very lightweight product with plenty of room for my 7 month old pup. She loves it. Easy to keep by the bedside, take to the car, travel with cozy den. I have not left her alone in this for long periods of time as a crate when I go out (still use a metal crate for that) as I don't know if she would try to chew on it being a soft crate and she's a puppy. I had purchased two of these large crates in 1995 when I was showing my dogs I loved both of those crates. I still have one of the crates and needed another for my new dog that is 25lbs. I ordered the new crate and I was a little disappointed with the quality of materials now used in the production of the crates. The crate I have had for 20 years is better made. This is exactly the size I needed for small dog for transporting in car on long trips. Plenty roomy and lots of side “ windows” for looking out. Fits perfectly in the car seat and and put the seat belt on to hold it. The mesh opening makes it easy in and out. Fairly sturdy zipper closure. It folds flat and comes with a carry/ storage bag. The bottom is not super sturdy even with the included pad, but am able to carry our dog in it in and out of a hotel as she is a lightweight . A red folding carrier was available on this site for only 9.99. I paid much more for this carrier because every photo conveyed it as a soft, grayish green and white that perfectly matched my decor. We received a saturated, dark green carrier with cream accents. We're using it to conceal our cat's litter box, so the color matters. Love the convenience of this kennel – zips apart into three pieces and folds down completely flat into a carrying case that's included. Can be used indoor/outdoor. Zippers work well, and minimal mesh is nice. Still very breathable. This one came with a mat unlike many others available. It is a pretty thin mat but that's okay, my puppy prefers it. Now, she is a 4-month old puppy and I never would have used this to crate train her. She would have shredded it to bits trying to get out. This should only be used for crate-trained dogs, and not doing so is where all of the bad reviews for this type of crate come from, I think. The first night we had this, we opened the door to let her out and she refused to come out! Just rolled over and went back to sleep. After deciding our precious "baby" needed to sleep in her own bed, we started looking for an attractive soft-side kennel to put in the bedroom for her. We looked all over & couldn't find anything we liked that was the right size. Hayneedle to the rescue!! Found the perfect color & size, placed the order late one night & had it within 3 business days. And to think I wasted hours & hours driving from store to store!! The kennel allows the maximum visibility w/windows on all sides & the top so she doesn't feel confined and the extra pouches will be great for travel. There doesn't seem to be any "handles" for lifting for transport & I wouldn't recommend lifting the kennel w/the dog inside, but you could certainly put it in the car first & then pop your pup inside. The pad that comes with it is flimsy, so buy a "nice" one for assured comfort.alydais

It's a nice big crate and just what I was looking for to put into my SUV. The only thing I didn't like are the zippers. They seem to be lower quality and makes closing and opening a a bit of a pain, so one star off for that. Not a con, but I wish the crate had anchors on each corner so that I can fasten it more easily in my car.

I absolutely love everything about this pet carrier. You can open 4 sides of it – the front, left side, right side and top. Each side has a black mesh layer. Then 3 sides (excluding the front entry) has a black out material in the color cream for privacy for your pet. The sides zipper to open and close. The color is very nice. It’s great. My young cockapoo got right inside of it without hesitation. It’s sturdy enough and easy to transport. The only downside in my opinion is that only one of the sides has netting for ventilation and while the top opens up completely (and therefore allows for alot of air circulation) there is no top netting so your pet can easily get out from the top.Sephora54
We bought two of the medium size Animaze portable dog crates for our dogs to use when we go camping. I set them up in the house first and the quality seemed to be pretty good and they went up easily. A big plus to me – they don't have any chemical smell like a lot of products from China – YAAA! The dogs went right into the crates and seemed very comfortable there. When I moved them into our camper for the first trip out with them using the crates instead of just pet beds, they seemed to like them – they stay in there most of the time they are inside the trailer.Larry2c

I like the travel carrier very much but it arrived with a defective inner metal frame and it is unusable until this is resolved. I have contacted the manufacturer and am waiting for their response. The outer part of the carrier is very well made and I believe my cat will love traveling in it. There is enough room for her litter box in one expanded side and the rest gives her a nice amount of room to move around. We will be using it for car travel while we pull our rv so she can be safe and can see and get fresh air while we are traveling.mommacat88
