I have two dogs–one large pup that has occasional g/I issues, and a small older dog that has chronic pancreatitis. I worry more about my little one Jaqcamo, because when he gets an acute attack of pancreatitis, he becomes extremely ill and usually requires hospitalization. One of our rescue cats had suffered for at least 5 years with a severe case of over-grooming and self-mutilating. His first owner gave up on him when the vets couldn't offer anything that worked for long and recomended an e-collar and cortisone treatments to try breaking the cycle , but the cat always got worse again. The affected area was a patch of skin about 6 inches by 3 inches which was often raw and bleeding. When we adopted him, we tried many things such as change of diet, nutritional supplements, and a variety of safe natural topical treatments. He spent 3 years wearing cotton shirt-jacket ( of t-shirt material ) , night and day, to reduce the amount of harm he could do to himself, as a more humane choice than the e-collar which he hated… He still suffered the uncontrollable urge to lick and bite at his shoulder/side & his shirts had to be replaced weekly as he tore them up. I decided to order the Obsession remedy, after reading about it on-site here. I didn't truly hold great faith that anything would turn things around after so long – but I felt comfortable that the remedy was safe to use , and the simplest method was to put it into the water bowl which all of our animals drink from. It seemed like a last resort to explore. About 3 weeks later, I knew there was an improvement in his skin / fur and I decided to take a chance and remove his shirt jacket for awhile to see how he acted. On all other past occasions, sometimes within minutes, he'd be licking,chewing and have his skin raw again. However, this time he didn't react in that manner and seemd calm and oblivious to the opportunity. After an hour or so, all was still going well, so I took the risk of leaving him 'shirt-less' overnight. I was very relieved and happy the next day to see that he had not harmed himself … It's now been several months and I'm no longer using the remedy in the drinking water for the animals and he continues to do well. His fur has grown back in and the only remaining evidence of his problem is one small patch which can't be noticed by eye, and is only noticable by touch, which is still missing a bit of hair and has some scar tissue. I found and purchased this product through my holistic health practitioner. I recently adopted a 5-month-old Mastiff puppy that had been transported from another rescue. She's had most vaccinations and was also spayed prior to transport. She had hookworm (common), some thin hair patches and her skin smelled yeasty. Her second day with me, she developed a urinary infection which my vet treated with Clavamox and dewormer. She also would try to eat pebbles. She then picked up Giardia (oh joy) and treated with more dewormer. My vet prescribed another oral antibiotic as well as an abx injection. He also prescribed prednisone to help the itching and KetoHex shampoo but warned that we'd need to consider mange if the problem persisted. She's responded well to the meds although I've been cringing at all of the toxins she's been exposed to and the abx stripping away her gut flora. I'm hoping this will help to combat some of the intestinal damage she's received and restore some good flora. I've used similar style dosing syringes and I like the ease of use and that the product is already in the syringe. I did have trouble initially with the plunger. The product was very thick (dense) near the opening. Since my pup liked the taste I just plunged the rest of her dose into her empty food bowl and she licked it right up. The product definitely was more liquidy (less dense) further back from the opening. I'm not sure if this presents a problem for equal distribution of ingredients. I'm crossing my fingers that this product will help quickly. I'm also starting Omega-3 oil for pets from Nordic Naturals and will try the Vetri-Science Vetri Repel Spray in the hope that the castor oil and lemongrass oil will help conquer the Demodex mites as well as the fleas, ticks, and mosquitoes that the label states.Rescue mom

My family and I live in a small Northern California town, and we were just hit with a devastating fire that's decimated over 100,000 acres, and is still burning. I took my aging terrier off prescription bladder control and switched to this product a little over a week ago. I did not do this gradually. So far, so good. I've tried shampoos, conditioners, a handful of trips to the vet to trial different foods, and hundereds of dollars later I honestly just gave up. I started putting alternative topical agents on her that simply gave a temporary resolution. While traveling out of town, she (Mini Schnauzer) had a really bad case, to the point where she was starting to bleed. Tea oil, hot spot spray and the above HomeoPet drops were what I returned with, after another visit to the pet store. After the first day her redness had diminshed greatly and she wasn't itching nearly as much. By two, she wasn't itching AT ALL. I decided to remove the Tea oil and spray since I'd used them in the past without long-term results. It's been a week and my schnauzer has had 3-5 drops a day, oral dose of this product and she is doing exceptional! Seriously! No redness, no scratching. Today I hadn't given her any since yesterday afternoon and she started scratching again. I gave her 3 drops and about a couple hours later, again, her scratching is gone. This product worked exceptionally on my dog. On the other hand, I don't think her issues were due to food allergies, vs environmental surroundings, my guess. I have a cat that has a tendency to lick patches of fur off her front legs when the weather turns either warm or cold in the summer and winter. The vet told me it's likely due to seasonal allergies. Well, after a couple of years of having to take the cat to the vet twice a year and spending upwards of $200 each time, I looked for an alternative and came across Hot Spots. The next time my cat licked her normal patch of fur, I squeezed a few drops onto her wet food a few times a day. Within a few weeks the patch began to heal and the fur grew back. Amazing! I had been using a couple similar products (same ingredients) with my dog since he started having gastrointestinal issues a few months ago. He's been to the vet and placed on several medications, probiotics, stool-hardening "pastes", etc., all with limited to no success. I've been having to home cook his meals since this all started, and have only been able to mix in small amounts of GI commercial/prescription food before the GI issues return. For a month, I had been giving him Kaolin/Pectin with 1 of 3 meals a day, and this seemed to help his stools stay firm. Except for the days I didn't add it to a meal, there was no diarrhea. Anyway, the other products were both out-of-stock, so I figured I would try this. The ingredients were the same, so I was hoping for the same effect. Unfortunately, there were ZERO reviews posted, so I had limited information to go by. My dog has had diarrhea every single day since he started receiving this, even after adding it to all 3 meals a day! I stopped adding in commercial food thinking it would help. It did not. I've noticed this formula isn't quite as thick as the other formulas, so maybe the ratio of ingredients is slightly different? Regardless, I would not purchase this again, nor would I recommend it. We have an elderly dog who takes 4 medication pills per day. She is notorious for being able to disregard even the smallest pill, no matter how well we seem to hide it in food. It has been a daily chore for years. Zesty Paws Dog Pill Wraps work great, though. The consistency of the product is odd, kind of like Play-Doh, but it is not messy, nor does it stick to your hands. We pinch off a small amount of the wrap, mold it around the pill, and our pet gobbles it up. The paste stays on the pill well and is easily shaped. The product smells of smoky bacon, but is not overwhelming. This is definitely a 5+ Star rating in my book!

My cat was a rescue and will eat nonstop if allowed. When we feed her, she eats aggressively and then throws up about 10-20 minutes later. We tried everything to stop this: crushing her food, soaking it in water, soft foods, smaller portions more often, & different types brands over the past 2 years, but nothing worked. Zesty Paws Probitoic Bites are cute: Heart-shaped treat, in a can't-miss sturdy orange container. There's also a generous number of bites packed into the packaging, sure to last a while for the average household. Each heart-shaped treat is soft but sturdy; its form is well retained which makes for easy splitting. I started my dog on the half treat dose for a week or so. My dog loves pumpkin flavor and food in general, so there were no issues with consumption. This particular formulation is labeled Gut Health which is great, but unfortunately, my dog's gut is extremely sensitive and every morning he vomited. I can't say for certain if Zesty Paws Probiotic Bites was the cause, but I took him off of the probiotic after a week and the vomiting ceased. Although I cannot continue using this probiotic, I would still recommend to friends and family with pets who have less sensitive stomachs. I purchased these for my Kimi and Kenny in training. they have sensitive stomach and eats grain free high-quality food. they having some issues with having soft stools which made it difficult to clean up behind her. I got these hoping that they would firm them stool up a little. They quickly did and now it is much easier to clean up when they potties. My household is busy, full of kids, dogs and constant traffic of everyone coming and going. Finding products that fit my lifestyle has been tough, aggravating, and frustrating. I was really excited to find biokleen and read about the actual science behind their products. I rolled up my sleeves and dove right into the worst room of our house- the dog room. Ok, so we have two chihuahua dogs and potty training them has been a complete nightmare, so when we are not home, they are left in our sunroom. However, it never fails, that they always have accidents waiting for me to clean when we get home. This Bac-Out was a perfect solution- it was safe for my ceramic tile, actually got down to breakdown and absorb the mess, and completely eliminated the stains unlike anything else I have seen! (It is obviously pet safe, fyi.) My next task was the kitchen trash can. Seriously, with teenagers in the house, I am not sure how so much gets stuck between the trash can and the bag…. As luck would have it, my son got a horrible bloody nose after this product arrived. I used it to spot treat the carpet from the trail he left through the house. It worked fantastic. I like the fact that I can pour it on the spot rather than having to spray and spray to cover the soiled area. It worked like magic getting all the blood out of our carpet. The stain lifted on the first try and took minimal effort with dabbing. I only had to apply the product one time to get the spot completely out of the carpet. The spots have not attracted dirt, and the carpet has not changed in texture where I used the product. It has a wonderful fresh smell. I’ve heard of this brand before but have never used it until now and wow, I’m impressed. It does an amazing job at removing stains and neutralizes odors. If you have kids & pets, you definitely need this. I have a Beagle who does have accidents from time to time especially when no one lets him out and he’s left by himself. I just blot up the mess (paper towels work best because I can just throw them away) then I squirt a decent amount on the stain and blot that up. The smell is gone and stays gone. I used this on my area rug and it didn’t stain or bleach it at all. It has a fresh lemon lime scent and it smells clean. So I was curious when it said this can be used for stains. On a different area rug in my living room, my son decided to use marker to color on my rug (I posted before & after pictures to show). Inappropriate language, comments or content by a guy in his 40 I think. I ask him a question about probiotics, he immediately start talking to me rude and then when I try to explain him what’s goin on what the issue I have I that time he was like I don’t understand what you saying like my man in what part of world that he lives that he didn’t understand a simple question and start talking rude, well after that he was looking for someone that speak Spanish because I’m what he understood he didn’t understand what I was trying to asking him. I probably don’t know perfect English but come one you don’t need to be a scientist to understand simple questions, from the first time to the end even when I was paying at the counter he was acting rude, which I don’t get it cuz it was my first time visiting that store, also another think I heard him saying when he was talking with the girl that he get to help me in Spanish cuz in his mind he said he don’t understand me he was talking to her and then she ask him what did he needs then he said I don’t now asking and then I ask her which food is better for my franch bulldog and then she ask him and he told her I don’t know depends on what he got on his packet like trying to saying I can’t afford a 60 dollar of bag which I end spending 114. I read tons of reviews on multiple sites and decided to try these on my dogs. These legit work!!! My dogs(we have 5) had a bad can of stress diarrhea for a week from moving to a new home.
