My active Doberman is recovering from a spinal injury and needs to be confined. This pen is perfect. The quality is top-notch, with plenty of clear and illustrated instructions that are really not even necessary as it's so simple to set up. My one and only quibble is that the box opened nearly the full length of the side during shipping. I think the packing tape gave way. All parts were intact and nothing was damaged so just FYI. I'm now going to buy another one of these for the back yard. I was going to transport this one in and out rather than spend the money since it's (I'm hoping) not a life-long need, but while it's so easy to fold and move, it is pretty heavyweight (42") so it'd be a bit of a chore for me to do often. She's never been a jumper, especially not now, and I don't leave her alone outside so I could easily go with a lower height that's less expensive and more portable (keep in the shade) for the yard.jacy

I like Midwest products as the metal seems to be stronger and last longer than other brands. I have the original ex-pen I bought around 1995 – it's survived 50+ large dogs. I prefer them to crates as the dogs have more room to move around, yet they are easily configured to a smaller shape when potty training. They easier to clean than crates. They fold flat and I can store them next to a fridge or behind a furnace. They work indoors/out and are great mobile containment. For dogs living in fenceless areas (condos) ex-pens can be linked using carabiners/bolt snaps (i.e., dog leash clips) for fencing moveable for mowing/snow removal. They are great for patio surrounds. You can buy metal tops for if a dog needs more containment, but most won't if using a tall enough ex-pen. I've also bought just the metal or plastic crate pans to put under the ex-pen if needed. To keep the ex-pen from falling or being moved if I have a rambunctious pup I bungee the corners to furniture or door knobs.HannahB

I ordered several of these to use as barriers to prevent my young Border Collie from running through the mud in our back yard after it rains. I set them up just off the patio several feet to allow him some space in the grass without giving him free reign of the whole yard to run through. They are very easy to set up, take down, and store! The quality is excellent – the panels are very sturdy, the clips are easy to use, and the pins to anchor them in the ground are a great length and weight. I could not be happier with this purchase! They are exactly what I needed and can easily be used for other containment configurations.J LaRue

Got this for a large dog to recover from surgery. Not as strong as a large welded wire portable kennel. It does allow more room to stretch out than the large portable kennel. If your animal needs room to move around, this may be a good kennel. Not super sturdy. Walls will moved out since they are connected with brackets (two each panel). May not be escape proof. No attached floor. Fitted tarp cover is nice. There are no cheap kennels out there. This one was priced okay and shipped free to my door. It was packaged well.CheapTX Guy

This is an extremely sturdy kennel and of high quality. Very easy to assemble. I assembled it myself and completely finished it took me about an hour and a half. The only downside is this kennel doesn't come with anchors that go in the ground to give it that extra firm support, however it doesn't appear to need it, as the kennel is extremely sturdy without them. Bought this for our 7 month old Pyrador puppy, who has already outgrown one house. It was easy to put together, and the sturdist dog house we've ever seen. Plus being insulated is perfect for a cold Indiana winter. She's huge and still growing and loves it. The first night she slept in front of it despite dog treats inside. Second night was cooler, she decided to check it out so the head and front paws went thru the swinging door first, and after she had stood that way for about 5 minutes, walked all the way in, and has loved it ever since. From the size if it unless she grows as much as Clifford the big red dog, she'll get to enjoy for a lifetime.PJ

We got this house for a new Boxador puppy so that it can spend most of its time outside. We found it to be a good product. It was easy to put together and does stay much warmer than the outside air. In rainy weather, it stays dry. It is a very large house which would work for a lab or other large dog. No problems with the dog using the door. Only suggestion: add nuts and bolts for the 6 screws. Screwing metal into plastic is not a real good plan. I'm assuming the company will have replacement parts (door, window, etc…) available for my investment!Y Robinson

What a pleasant experience. This is such a sturdy crate. I have Serama Chickens that are indoor pets and this was just a great buy for a very reasonable price. Although I do not have a dog, there is no doubt in my mind that this cage would be perfect for a small dog.Lori

I purchased two of these "KennelMaster 24" Folding Black Wire 2 Door Dog Crate" and have had them for several months. What a great buy! Super easy to set up: they come preassembled and all folded up. They unfold and set up in a minute. I have one for each of my dogs: a Maltese/Bichon mix and a Chihuahua mix (who looks just like a small German Shepherd). We use their crates for the night time and when we leave the house. These crates are made of very nice thick metal. Incredibly sturdy. The latches are well made and smart-doggy proof. I like that the bottom is solid and can be easily removed and sanitized. My dogs have scratched and nibbled on the bars daily and the crates have held up like new. There are two doors on each crate: one door on a long side and one door on a short side. There's also a handle on top which makes it really easy to move around when I am relocating it, transporting the dogs, or just moving the crates to vacuum and clean underneath. My crates also came with some additional wire dividers that I don't use. I believe they are for making the crate smaller when you have a puppy and removing it as your dog grows. Crates can be really expensive so I was glad to find these at such a bargain price, especially because they are so well made. I know these crates will last many, many years. I have no negative things to say about these dog crates. I would highly recommend them! Please note: I do not put both dogs in the same crate, though they do both fit. I love Hayneedle, but the company that made this fence should have sent instructions; and the gate should have been assembled instead of coming in different strands of wire. We never did get it together, the wires were different sizes and bent. We finally made our on wire to put on the gate. Hayneedle was very understanding about the way we received this product.Ruby

Overall good product that meets the needs of our pup. It is helpful to have more then two people to apply the chain link to the frame. Also the wire pieces provided to secure the chainlink to the frame are a heavy gauge wire, very hard to bend. We used heavy zip ties , made the job much easier /faster.SRS7503

The picture is very false. Expected it to be in panels to put together. EZ it says EZ it's not. Came in pieces including having to put frame together then wrap chain link around like putting a fence up. So it is not EZ when there is one person and a 10x 10×5 comes in a 5 by 15×12 inch box. Very, very disappointed. To return I would have to pay for $50-$100 shipping. Had to paid someone to put together. Very deceiving. Would never recommend.Linda

This review is for the Dig Defence four pack animal barrier fence. This animal barrier is perfectly awesome for me to use around the bottom of the chicken coop wire to keep my dogs or critters from trying to dig under the wire into the chicken coop. It is extra nice quality, heavy duty metal fence sections. Each section is thirty two inches long and eight inches high and has a combined coverage area of over ten feet in length. I know this is mainly made to deter and keep dogs from digging under their yard fence but I intertwined the fencing legs in through the holes in my chicken coop wire and then drove it a little more than halfway into the ground to deter my dogs from digging at the chicken coop fence or any varmints. It is very easy to use and drives into even hard ground with ease with a small sledge hammer or any hammer will work. The legs, with two inch spaces between, are so thick and heavy duty, that they do not bend at all when driving them into the ground. I almost guarantee nothing will dig past these ground barriers as stout as they are.Ang03

These are just what I needed! My inside dog doesn't dig out when she is in the yard, she actually dug IN to come live with us as she was a stray and decided we looked like a good home, or maybe it was the tasty treats we fed her that enticed her to stay! Nonetheless, this keeps OUT the critters that love to come in my back yard (i.e. possums, raccoons, skunks, etc…) to eat the feral cat food I put out for my TNSR (trap, neuter, spay, release) colony. Our wooden fence has places that are worn away at the bottom, and these make a great barrier to fill in those gaps. The cats (and possums, I found out) can crawl over the fence unlike the skunks (they haven't learned yet, thank goodness! 🙂 I feel certain these would work beautifully for pets (dogs) that like to dig OUT of the fence, or try to squeeze through the bars of an iron fence. Just make sure you get the right size and drive them into the ground about 5", and you'll be good to go. Or stay! :O)siouxbee19

We have neighbors who don't seem to understand what a leash law means. It's not only annoying, but also gets our dogs (on their leads) sick from time to time. No, we don't keep our dogs out all the time, but do hook them up to a lead to use the bathroom then bring them back in. When the neighbor's dog does gross stuff in our yard, not only do we have to pick it up and dispose of it if we see it, we have to deal with our dogs smelling/rolling in/sometimes eating what the neighbor's dog leaves behind. (It's gross, but many dogs eat what other dogs drop.) These barriers are to the rescue. The back of our property has a fence that is not ours and therefor we can't maintain it. We can, however, add these strong no dig animal barriers on our side to keep the roaming neighbor dogs out of our yard. I have placed them in place without pounding them in yet so you can see the size. Because of the ivys growing near where I want the barriers I will need to put on long sleeves before installing them. Pros: Seem very strong. Seem very durable. The gaps are small enough to let smaller wildlife through while keeping out unwanted dogs. Heavy so dogs and/or other larger animals can't move them. Cons: None Suggestions: *Like many metals, there is a black residue on the metal. You will want gloves when installing (which should be worn anyway since dealing with metal–protects from unintentional scrapes) Overall I recommend these barriers! They seem like they will last quite a while, so I'm hoping they do.Homemaker

My only gripe is about the locking lever could better made. Easy fix is to get a spring clip or caribeaner to ensure your smart animals don't learn how to open it because the door is easily opened. This playpen was the perfect size for our pup, super easy to assemble because there really wasn't any assembly involved. All the pieces were attached and just needed locking together at the open ends. This product is also very easy to move around; we ended up putting it up against the fence in a rectangular shape giving him more room to run around.Martramed

We have tried many Kennels/Crates for our dog, she suffers from Anxiety and nothing has kept her as safe as this kennel. Any metal kennel, regardless of how indestructible it has advertised to be, we have come home to a scraped up bleeding dog that is out in the house and destroying things. She is a pitbull and she chews through anything. The kennels that are plastic with the metal grates on the side she chews on the door and breaks the metal on the sides and at this point has ruined her teeth. We have put her in the Ruff Land Performance kennel twice, once for two hours, great success and once for an entire day. She was calmer, and no blood or destruction to the crate. Wish I had seen this crate 9 years ago. Another feature we like is that it has a flat floor, rather than one that is either metal grating or has a few round circles protruding to allow stacking of kennels. We are amazed and so thankful to have this crate. I would recommend this crate to any dog owner. I can't say enough good about it.Diana B

We tried the reinforced wire crates with no success. If he could get out, he would. The next step was possibly getting those ultra reinforced crates that cost almost a thousand dollars and almost require financing. This has been the perfect compromise. It’s sturdy and durable. It obviously has a little weight to it, but it’s definitely manageable. Hands down if something happens to this crate that isn’t caused by our dog, I’ll buy it again and again.Jennahboo92

My chabrador (chow-labrador mix) has plenty of space to turn around and lay down in this kennel. He is kenneled while I'm working, and he easily goes to lay down when it's time for me to leave in the morning. At night and on the weekends, my rat terrier likes to claim this kennel as her own spot. Very sturdy and fairly light weight. Not too wide, so it's easy to find a place to make space for this kennel.Shane

This works very well. So decided to copy it and made a few with scrap wood and 3/4 inch dowel stock to fit the dog holes in my bench. My bench has 2 regular face vises that can be moved from the side to either end. With a pair of these made out of wood and one mounted in the dog holes of the vise and another in the table, I have a great work holder for hand planing.Srikanth

Last year my husband and I gave our 3 adult dogs the Spectra 9. They hadn't gotten the 9-way yet so we had to give the booster 30 days later. This was our first time giving shots. No problem after watching videos online and I called Durvet to confirm need for booster. Our dogs are generally jumpy, but this was quick & easy maybe because they were less nervous with us. They are now due for the vaccine and since they've already gotten the 9-way last time they will only need one shot this time. Rememer, if you are increasing/changing dosing it may need a booster. Best is to call Durvet and ask. The Spectra 9 saved us time & $$ going to vet. If you have a puppy you may want vet to handle it because of parvo.3 Crazy Dogs

Easy to use. 4 of the 5 shots I bought were great. I noticed a air pressure thing in the bottles but I figured out how to work with it and get the vaccine liquid all out. The only issue I had really was on the 5th shot the needle was lose and I didn't notice. It popped off after it was in my dog's skin from the pressure of the liquid. All the liquid poured out and I had to pull the needle tip out of my dog. She didn't care much but I'll have to get her a new shot to get her up to date, but her puppies all got thier shots. A warning in the instructions to tighten the tip would be nice. I never thought to check them.Tara L

At first reading the instructions you might get overwhelmed but it's not as bad as it seems at first with the install. The only thing I wish is there was a way to make it have a wireless signal to the main box so you don't need to run wires into the house. Part of my install is on the fence and some in ground both were fairly straight forward. We have been working with our dog per the instructions. While I feel we could probably teach our dog where to stay out of with just the training guide in the book but the added collar helps reinforce the boundaries. So far she is responding well although she is a border collie and they tend to learn fast but I don't think it would be hard to work with any dog with the right patience and practice. Don't buy this if you expect it to work out of the box you still need to train your dog the system is more of a reminder than it is a set it and forget it.Jono21

The PetSafe In Ground fence worked great in our yard! We aren't allowed to have traditional fences in our subdivision but wanted to be able to keep our goldendoodle safe and in our yard. This system was a bit of a project to install in comparison to hiring a company or something, but the directions well clear and concise and it wasn't difficult to install. We borrowed My dog was very receptive to the training with the boundary flags and picked up on the boundaries very quickly and easily!! Petsafe had some helpful videos on their website which helped guide us how to begin training as well. The system seems really reliable, and I love that I can know that she is safe and gets to run and exercise without having to worry constantly. The collar is lightweight and comfortable for my dog and easy to adjust. I highly recommend this pet containment system to keep your loved fur babies safe!!wogsll34

The in-ground fence was extremely easy to install and had step-by-step directions on how to do so. I had thought it would be difficult to install, as I am not an overly technical person, but was surprised to learn that even the least technical-savvy person could install. I love that my dog no longer needs to wear a leash outside and he's able to roam freely. I feel this provides him with a sense of independence, although he still prefers to be by my side. On my end though, it provides me a sense of relief that even if I look away momentarily, he won't be able to roam outside of the flags. As far as your dog goes, I would recommend walking him or her around the area to ensure they are aware of where is permitted and not permitted to go. Once your dog learns this, they will be on their way to what they feel is freedom.Amber24

I bought the medium sized kennel for my Shih Tzu. The size is perfect with plenty of room for him to play. The kennel is sturdy with an easy to operate door. The total time to assemble this kennel was about (1) hour (my husband put it together by himself). You will need something to cut the excess wire (the screws on the door need to be cut back before you can cap them off and the wires that connect the fence to the structure need to be twisted and trimmed to avoid injury). The sunshade DOES NOT cover the entire kennel. which I knew about from other reviews. I left the 2 inch gap near the door so I can stick my arm into the kennel and pet my dog while I walk by. This was simple to assemble, and sturdy. The only issues were small: two spots in the chain link fence, the wires didn't weave correctly so there were holes; and the locking mechanism on the gate is very cheap. I don't think I will use the gate mechanism because my dog could easily push it up and open the gate. I purchased the 4X6X4 Chain Link Kennel for my Flat Coated Retriever. I received it on the day it was supposed to arrive. It was packaged well. All the pieces parts were there and it is a very easy to assemble product. Myself and a friend actually had it assembled in 1/2 hour with the exception of the ties to secure the fencing. The crate had obviously been used and returned. The metal was rusted in places and the plastic bottom tray was dirty. When I decided to return it, It was a challenge to get it back in the box. When I took it back to the store, I asked about a discount and received 15% off (the tax). I had previously bought one that was marked down by 50% because the box was damaged. I was quite disappointed in the whole experience. Apparently the merchandise was supposed to be checked if the box was damaged and that wasn’t done in this case.Janice

I've owned dogs for the last 40 years. I've used MidWest wire crates for my last 4 dogs. This iCrate didn't disappoint. It's sturdy and and easy to put up and take down. I use them when I travel with my dogs too. My dogs only use their crates for sleeping in at night or napping in during the day. During the day, their crate doors are left open. I close the dogs in at night. I don't have an issue with my dogs trying to escape from their crates, so I can't speak to whether or not this would be sturdy enough for a dog that's determined to get out of their crate. These crates are more than sturdy enough for my miniature Schnauzer, Havanese, and Wirehaired Pointing Griffon. All three of my dogs love their MidWest iCrates, as did my previous dog! They go in them voluntarily and when told to "crate up". My only concern with the current crate I ordered is that that one of the latches isn't lined up quite right so it's a bit tight when closing the crate door. I bent it slightly and it works much better. I haven't had that issue with any of the previous MidWest crates I've used. I'm a MidWest crate fan.Eddie09

We bought this in April 2022 for our Rhodesian Ridgeback mix puppy. He was weeks old when we rescued him. He was a Parvo pup and barely survived, so rest and his own quiet space was highly recommended for recovery. We first used the divider which was great. However, as he grew, so did his strength. It definitely is not strong enough for large dogs. Even for short amounts of time. At the moment he is 6 months and 60 pounds. Thankfully he did not get out nor hurt himself! I wish I could share photos of how bent up this crate is and the cracked floor liner. IWifeMomLove

Everything about buying, assembling, and using our second Revol crate (we purchased our first, a Medium, last spring), was excellent, and our pup loves her new bigger digs. The company’s communication about the status of our pre-order was superb—well-timed, clear, and accurate. We weren’t expecting two boxes (I probably missed the detail in one of the emails), so were surprised when the second box arrived a few days after the first and only then noticed Box 1 on the first box. It would have been better if the box labeling had said Box 1 of 2 and Box 2 of 2, but that’s a quibble. The packaging did its job well and the instructions were both charming and easy to follow. The ONLY product design flaw in our opinion involves the last step of assembly: Handling and attaching the teeny-tiny screws in the four bottom corners. The allen wrench is ridiculously small (even for a woman’s hands), and getting the screws into their holes is incredibly difficult, from just getting them into the holes to fully tightening them. The placement of the screws, especially such small screws on an otherwise very large object, is i credibly awkward. Upshot: The holes are hard to reach because of the close proximity of the crate sides. It’s also hard to imagine that such tiny screws accomplish much of anything on such a large object. But that is our only negative criticism/observation. The product is overall superb—wildly expensive, yes, but very attractive and sturdy and safe. I love the design and the customer service of the diggs crate. I had the medium slate gray size crate which is amazing in looks and design. I love how easy the front door opens. The medium size garage door I found to be not usable the way it folds in and up. I love the color and the design over all. I then ordered the large white crate when they came out with it. Again I loved the color and the look of it. I didn't like that they charged my card before I got the crate, nor did I like the price of the crate but they are the best crates on the market that I have seen so far. The large crate that I got the other day did have a large dent in the base which only effects the looks. For the price it would have been great to get the crate in mint shape. Their customer service is amazing so I might put in a call to them. The directions to put the large crate together could have been a little clearer about the ceiling or top of the crate. If you put it on the wrong way the garage door can't be put and I had to take it off and turn it around. This could be a lot clearer in the directions. Once I got it together I found the design on the large crate to be better for the garage door and I should be able to use it now but not as sturdy on the 4 pillars. I'm not crazy about the plastic inserts they look to fragile like they can easily break. I also found them hard to get in. Maybe I'm just spoiled since the medium crate was designed better and was put together when it was delivered. If either the medium crate or the large crate are in your budget they really are beautiful crates and I'm really glad I purchased them. I also bought the snooze beds and again the price is high but they are quality made. I'm still waiting for my large size snooze bed but I'd imagine I will get it soon.donna G.

I have a 30lb puppy who is expected to be closer to 50lbs when she’s an adult. I bought the intermediate crate. This crate is designed beautifully. It gets a lot of complements when people visit. It feels like a sturdy crate and the quality seems generally good save for a few joints on the front and back which got stuck for me. However, assembling it was a little difficult (they do recommend you have 2 people)—even inserting and removing the puppy divider is not easy. Taking it anywhere is impossible. It’s too long to fit in a standard sedan’s trunk. Also lifting it into the car (whether trunk or backseat) requires 2 people as well. Not convenient unless you live with other people. I think I’m going to wind up having to buy a wire crate anyways in order to travel with her. Also fwiw, this crate is the only crate she’s known (in our house) but she often prefers our friend’s dog’s wire crate haha. We wonder if part of it is the revol crate is tall whereas the large wire crate feels cozier so it’s something to consider. If you’re just looking for an aesthetic crate for your home, this is a nice choice. But if you’re looking for utility and multi-use for travel (and are interested in the intermediate or large size) just know you will need to buy a second travel crate or own an SUV.Elizabeth C.

Good quality heavy duty cage for my Doberman puppy. The chewed the wires off the regular cage. Only concern is the tray goes under the metal grate at the bottom of the cage. Not good at all. He got his foot pad/toe caught in it. Also his collar caught in it. I forced the tray to go into the cage on top of the grate. Problem solved. Need to have an option of where to put it. Would recommend with supervision of your dog. No collars on when grate is not covered. Good tough cage. Neighbor bought same fir her bull dog puppy same age as my dobie. She likes it also. *The price was very reasonable and the size/construction was surprisingly sturdy. *As an added bonus, our cage has a side door that wasn't advertised. We almost didn't purchase this one since it appeared to only have the one door at the end. But our cage has a second door that swings out from the side panel. *We have always taken small (4" size) zip ties and secured the corners of our cages to provide added strength – in case dogs paw at the cage. I would still recommend zip ties although the cage seems to snap in place tightly. Of course, if you frequently fold down the cage, replacing zip ties can become cumbersome. *The plastic pan on the bottom is thinner than our last cage, but our dogs have not chewed or scratched at them previously, so this won't be a problem for us. *The carrying handle appears strong enough to lift the empty cage and will be useful. *Upper and lower slide latches are provided on each door. All latches have a rod bent at the end to help secure the latch. In the past, our dogs learned to shake the door until the latch slid over but this new design prevents the latch from sliding open.KYMom

I bought one of these and liked it so much that I just purchased another one. Both are the 42 inch size.I have 2 older 42 inch similar type kennels but they are a different brand and I paid a lot more for them. I think that the BestPet brand wire pet cage/crate/kennels are just as good as the more expensive ones that I have. In fact I was able to purchase two of the BestPet kennels for what I paid for one of the older kennels I have. I like the latches on the Best Pet kennels. They have a little "crook" on the end that prevents the latch from sliding open accidently. But it is easy for a human to open and close. I am an older woman and the kennels are easy for me to move around to the areas I desire to put them. They are sturdy, but easy to handle,and have the plastic slide out tray at the bottom for easy cleaning, I was unsure about this Brand at first because the price was so GOOD that I figured something had to be flawed with this kennel but I was very wrong. I do think it is a good idea to buy a couple of extra plastic trays or if you are crafty cut a piece of heavy duty plastic to have on hand when you change out a tray for cleaning. Plastic is just plastic so a heavy dog could cause damage to the tray .But the trays I got with my kennels are not flimsy at all. The kennel comes with a plastic handle that can be attached at the top. I live in a rural and at night the coyotes and other undesirable critters come out and I have had problems with Tom cats just mauling my young cats. So now I can put my kittens or young cats and puppies in kennels at night and I don't have to worry and fret about what is happening in the dark to them. Also, this will save me money in Vet bills. The cost of just one of the large kennels is about the cost of an office visit to the vet so I am very pleased to wake up each day and know that all of my "babies" are safe and happy. Included with the kennel is a wire divider that can be put in the kennel so you can keep pets separated from each other. I had one particular cat that had an injury that seemed to outsmart me and escape from any cage I tried to keep her in. She can't get out of this Best Pet kennel. I will buy a couple more of the 42 inch size kennels to have on hand because the price and quality is so great and I plan to buy a couple of the smaller wire ones to transport cats and pups to the vet in. I find the plastic cat carriers to be attractive but not so practical when you have a heavy cat or a "wild" cat or unhappy dog that needs an injection from the vet before it can be removed from the carrier to be tended to. Duchess likes it! We do this inside to keep her doing it slow due to having surgery on her leg. It keeps her alert and aware to different things and is always fun to learn new things. We all should strive to learn new things. Keeps us on our toes. Gives mental exercise and physical exercise without overdoing her leg. It has been a year since we got this and she still likes to learn and have it positioned in different ways to keep her alert. She loves the little tunnel. Highly recommend this. I bought this to give my mini poodle something to do when it's too rainy or cold to spend time outdoors. The plastic is cheaply made, and the instructions don't tell you how to re-fold the tunnel to make it fit in the bag, but for what it is, it's a decent value. The tunnel is big enough that most size dogs should be able to traverse it with no problem, but the jump is fairly narrow and larger dogs may have a harder time hopping through the gap. The weave poles lean a bit, but are ok. For under $25, it's a decent value as a training toy for a small dog.KaHa

Its a good starter kit for people like us new to agility training. Pros: – very easy to use indoors. – easy to setup. Cons: – Poles are kind of hard to setup, as the holes aren't properly milled. – Poles fall down too easily, so you have to weight them down or teach your dog to be okay with that. My dog really enjoys the out doors but often gets out of the yard after any thing she sees moving fast. She doesn't seem to mind being in this spacious kennel for a little while daily, Assembly was pretty fast. took a little over an hour for the two of us to get it together .No tools are needed for assembly. Instructions are very clear. The kennel is very durable and is great quality. I would suggest trying to put in a area that doesn't get a lot of wind if possible. It is very hard on the canvas roof. The door opens and closes very smoothly. Its a smaller kennel so its a great size for people with smaller back yards. I have used this so far for 3 months and its still standing. This keenl is well made i love how the top cover was made to fit and hold even in harsh weather. I honestly can say that this lucky do kennel has made it easier on me as a pet owner to supply a place for my pups to roam outside and still be shelterd and have room to play.
