I sweep daily at least 3 times and can make a whole dog out of the fur I get up from the floor. But when I use this, I don't need to sweep nearly as much. This slicker brush really helps, when brushing the undercoat out, on your dog. Because it has bristles that are closer together, it works better than most slicker brushes do. But you have to work with smaller sections when using it. If not, you will get the brush stuck, or wind up hurting your dog when removing matted fur or "shed fur". If you have a large dog, I'd recommend a larger slicker brush. But this one works great for my pomeranian's furamanda.c

I got this because I was in a pinch. My Springerdoodle couldn’t get into the groomers rescheduled a number of times from both ends and she smelled BAD. Her thick kinky hair holds in dirt and the smell. Bathing her ourselves she doesn’t dry fast enough and ends up getting the wet dog smell. So I tired this and it’s AMAZING! I will be using this in between groomer sessions forever on now and maybe try it with our German Shepherd. It’s be a little over 24hrs and she still smells great. I do like this shampoo & will continue to use. My dog has really bad allergies – an allergy shot every 3 weeks, Cytopoint shot every 7 weeks & a generic Zyrtec every morning, I bath him weekly as he gets greasy – not to mention the "corn chip" or Frito feet smell!
