I buy Stay Green Bites because my dog leaves brown spots in the grass. My husband was skeptical and didn't believe they worked, so I did an experiment. I stopped giving the Stay Green Bites to Iris for the winter. Once the snow melted, there were brown spots everywhere. I pointed this out to my husband. Once I put her back on the Stay Green Bites, we have not had any new brown spots in the lawn.
My dogs have only been taking this supplement for a few days now, so my grass hasn't had time to bounce back. However, in the places they have been going potty since starting the supplements, it doesn't look like any more grass is dying. To me, that is a huge indicator that these are working. I have put different spreads in yogurt I have made popsicles and the product holds up. I still have a young puppy so I don’t know how this will hold up with a strong chewer. Newly adopted very stressed pup. I purchased three Thunder items, one of which was a bottle of the Calming Chews. Tried the Chews several times over the course of a week and a half in different situations. Sorry but found each time that there was no change in my dog's reactivity level – and on one occasion the Chew seemed to make him more stressed. So my 6mos. old pup is super hyper at night running around my apartment. He just have this excitement and energy at night when i come home from work. Also before going to sleep we still have to wrestle on my bed for a good hour or so. He just have that so much energy probably because im out all day. Tho he got tons of toys to keep him busy with and accompany him throughout the day when im at work. So i decided to buy and try this calming chews with hemp, and i say it worked 30mins or so after giving him 2 chews. Crushed it with my fingers and mixed it on his kibbles. Chew are pretty big so i have to crush it. Well it worked well. He didn't have that hyperactivity that he jets around the apartment back and forth. He was calm like a baby chewing his toy. I say give it a try. I'm sure it won't work for all but it wont hurt to try. if it doesn't work, then just return it. But for me it worked really well.AdMAG

Dear NaturVet, Our 10 year old terrier has been absolutely terrified of fireworks for as long as I can remember. Every New Year's and 4th of July we can expect our neighbors to shoot off the really loud fireworks that send Bogart into a panic. When he's this anxious, he is capable of destroying our personal property, ripping carpet from it's backing, and is a threat to his own safety. We use Quiet Moments for an 80 lb Catahoula Leopard dog. Prescription meds from the vet made her aggressive so we tried Quiet Moments. We only give her at most 1 tablet at a time, far lower then the recommended dose on the bottle for her weight, and it works wonderfully through thunderstorms or a night of fireworks. It takes about 20 minutes to start working. It must taste good because she will eat it no matter how hard she's shaking or panting. I highly recommend trying it!Elaine315
We have 2 very nervous, skiddish Boxers. Ages 2 & 1. They’ve never had a long car ride over 1 hour. They pace & whine & don’t sit still. I initially learned about NutriCalm by Rx Vitamins for dogs when I read a review from a local greyhound rescue organization who said they used it with great success. NutriCalm for dogs kept me AND my German Shepherd sane during summer monsoon storms. He would turn into a panting drooling mess that was completely UNDERfoot sometimes an hour ahead of the thunder. He was 95 lbs I dosed him at the maximum suggested through the monsoon season and it made ALL the difference in the world =without= drugging him into a stupor. I’ve never tried anything like this before. I was worried it would smell like chamomile or lavender, but it doesn’t. It smells like dog food. Very meaty. And extremely easy to measure out and pour. It helped my hyper/ high anxiety pup be more relaxed at home. I can’t wait to try for when we leave the house. Our cavapoo gets separation anxiety and I’m always in search of new products to try to alleviate her stress. This product seemed to work okay as she was a little less hyperactive when we returned home but did not help her anxiety when we left. Maybe we didn’t give the product enough time to work before we left. I liked that the product contained natural ingredients – water, coconut water, chamomile, tryptopha. It’s also made in the USA which I love! The product is red I’m assuming from the cabbage juice which was the one drawback for me. This product is a liquid and like most dogs – mine does not necessarily keep her water in her bowl – when she’s thirsty and laps vigorously the water splatters. I don’t want red cabbage juice on my walls or floors. Our dog did drink the calming water willingly though so I think she liked it.Steph S.
Gonna be honest, it smells a lot like an agar plate (the ones for microbiology). Something about cabbage I suppose? If your dog isn't the type to lick the bowl clean or highly food obsessed, I would recommend letting it soak for a while so the kibbles can absorb some of it. Alternatively, I've had success with freezing it in an ice tray and feeding cubes as a treat. The red/purple color is somewhat bold but so far, it's washed out. My dog likes it and ate it without a problem. It wasn't a miracle cure for all his anxiety and stress but it did seem to take off a bit of the edge.Kaze

This is my first puppy/dog ever. I have a 7wk old Aussie/Lab mix who gets terrible separation anxiety when left alone (in a room or in a crate). He's pretty chill otherwise but, during crate training, he will whine and scratch at the crate to be let out, which becomes a challenge with my 430am work schedule. I was skeptical of trying these, so I first tried just YouTube lullabies and sleeping beside him but both those only worked temporarily. I finally cracked and bought these a few days ago…he's now sleeping through the night and is out the whole time until I get home. These things are amazing. I may ONLY use them for sleeping but I highly recommend them to new puppy owners for anything that may stress out your pup!Kiddo
Our 2 dogs are fine with the taste and size. Minus one star cause my yorkie doesn't seem to get calm after taking it (he usually gets overly anxious before a walk). I read a lot of good reviews about the Thunder Ease spray which led me to make the purchase. I have 2 Yorkies that stress very badly during loud thunderstorms and when they hear loud fireworks, so I believed this would offer them much needed relief. I've used the spray according to the directions on 4 occasions during recent storms and it did absolutely nothing. I sprayed the dogs, their bedding and their kennel and to no avail, they continued to stress and pant nervously. So, at least in my instance, since it failed, I cannot claim that it is either a good value or of good quality.big-d-in-kc
I bought this thinking it would be something to use when we get company or workers that come to the house. Our dog has anxiety and barking at these times. My dog is terrified of thunder, rainstorms, and loud noises. He only became that way the last couple of years. We tried everything. This seems to help a little and he does not pant as much. We start it earlier than the expected time of the storm. We used it New Years Eve and while he was nervous, he did not pant as much as he usually did. It is true to fit and is well-made.
