Loved the idea of purchasing duvet cover for for a dog bed with so many possibilities for stuffing. I had a king size memory foam mattress cover I cut up to correct size and my pooch has a nice thick comfy bed now. Would suggest purchases liner that goes underneath duvet cover if using foam so cover slips on easier. Only thing I suggest is making the zipper longer so it’s easier slipping over thick foam.
Great concept, difficult execution if you want anything beyond a small bed. I purchased the huge, not taking into consideration the amount of "stuff" it would take to fill it. I was able to fill it after parting with things I wasn't originally intending too. The bed is just not comfortable, however. I can't imagine unless you have all plush clothes and pillows to fill it with that it would ever be truly comfortable. The dogs haven't slept on it in a week. I think the waterproof liner is also hot and noisy which deters them. Again, I love the concept, but it just was not a good purchase for my little dog family.Brett W

While the quality of the product itself is good, there are 2 issues that would keep me from purchasing this product. 1. Maybe not a deal breaker for some, but the bolsters (headrest) on the backside made my dog dislike the product. My dog likes to be back close to the back of the couch and this pushes her away and closer to the edge. 2. The main issue I have is the cost spent for a glorified blanket. While it may be nice to have couch anchors and nice material, we have found that our pets love to just have a nice blanket to lay on. Works just as well. Can use any color. This bed is poorly designed. There is a rubber noodle attached to elastic to hold the bed in place on your chair of couch, unfortunately, the elastic is extremely long. Because of this the bed hangs down to the floor and the couch or chair is not protected and there is no where for the dog to get up on it without falling off. Bad design. We live in New Mexico at just over 5000 feet elevation. Sun and UV are extra brutal in the summer, the air is very dry, and we get freezing and a little below freezing as well as light snow in the winter. We love the bed and have to replace the cover. Originally bought the bed with the brown cover about a year ago. Replaced with the grey cover and love it. The cover itself though seems to already become worn and IMO won't last too long. Probably will not order another replacement.Phillip B.
We just purchased a new sofa bed for our Black Lab mix. He LOVES his new bed . It is cozy and I love the way he puts his head on the pillows. However, my dog likes to dig around before curing up in a cozy position. We only had the bed for two days and he had already put two holes in the cover. I was so disappointed. The bed now looks awful and the fuzz is coming out of the cover. I really think that it should be mentioned that if your dog likes to dig before snuggling then perhaps a stronger fabric is needed.
This is, I think our third or fourth time purchasing these beds for our dogs. In the past, over time the covers get worn. We purchase these because the covers can be removed and washed. What we have found is that after so many washes, the material begins to thin. Well, these were just recently purchased, and I haven't even had to wash them yet, and the material is ripping.Sharon H.
