I decided to write a review bc just the other day I gave both my dogs a milk bone dog biscuit like I do every day, a couple of times a day lol. And was watching both my dogs go crazy over these dog treats and they tore them up. Mind you my oldest dog is picky when it comes to treats and food, and usually always rejects anything I try to give her; but not these! I've been giving these milk bone dog treats to my dogs for years (everyday 3 times a day) and they absolutely love them. I always wonder what the heck is actually inside these darn milk bone dog biscuits/treats, for my dogs to go head over paws for one. but at this point I guess it doesn't really matter what is in them, bc my dogs vet knows they get these as treats and never advised me to stop giving them to my fur babies, and watching my dogs go absolutely crazy over these dog bones; is all that really matters to me.melissa.m

My pit bull really loves these things. She gets so excited when we say “treat” and runs right towards the cupboard we keep them in. She doesn’t usually even like biscuit type treats but she goes crazy for these things. They’ve helped us in treat training her. She seems pretty happy with the taste and her poops have been healthy after eating them. They’re supposed to help with cleaning her teeth, and her teeth are still in good shape, but her breath still smells like meat all the time. The only concern I have is that I read these have carcinogen chemicals and preservatives in the ingredients which are bad for your dog and can cause cancer. So now I try to give these to her in moderation just in case. I like how accessible these treats are since they’re sold in almost every major store. And I like that the company donates money to canine assistant programs that supply trained dogs to people with handicaps. I would never buy these dog treats again. About a year ago I would give my new puppy these treats and she randomly began having bathroom issues. I then assumed it was her dog food and completely changed her entire diet and threw away everything I was feeding her. Recently, we started giving her the milk bones again and the other day she started the bathroom issues again. The past couple of nights she’s been so sick she can’t even hold it in all night like she used to, she wakes us up at 3am crying to go outside and do number 2. This morning she woke us up wanting to go outside and not only go number 2 but also when she went blood came out of her bottom, which is what was happening a year ago. I know this is from the milk bone because we don’t feed her anything other then her normal dog food now ( which works perfectly with her stomach) and these bones. I love having my dog try new treats so we can switch it up every so often. I was excited to get these for that reason. My dog is a beagle mix about 50 pounds. I gave him one treat to start and noticed it was not easy for him to chew. He spit it out and tried to eat it again a few times. When he was able to chew it he liked it which I’m glad. But I also noticed that it gave him stomach problems by the end of the day. I wanted to like this for him but I don’t think he can for the sake of his stomach. I have three pit bulls and they eat everything and anything ! All three smelled this product, gave me a look before taking and they spit out, sadly I tried a couple more times and my poor boy broke out in hives in middle night and it attacked his whole body and these dogs live outside and enjoys mold and what not! I was shocked and so angry and sad because even now he still has a lot, I can not find a part in your application that would assist on a situation like this at all, we shouldn’t have to wait and luckily I have common sense since I can’t afford the $300 vet, if not better by tomorrow I will be forced! My English Bulldog, Buster, loves these bones. I give him one every night before his bedtime. I make a big deal out of it; we have a little routine. About 10:00 p.m. he comes and sits in front of me to tell me it's time for his bone. I take him outside, then back in for his bone. These are my Siberian Husky Dempsey’s all time favorite biscuits. I can get them for a great price pretty much always on sale from Chewy’s website. If I need to buy them in store, I purchase from Petsmart use their price match offer. I purchase these religiously always have a bag on hand since these are pretty much his all time favorite treat. Since he’s a large dog, I go for the large biscuit size. But they also make a mini version which is great for puppies a small size if the large ones would be too big for your dog. Dempsey specifically prefers the Peanut Butter flavor, but they do make a handful of different flavors. Lastly, they also sell 6 pound boxes of these for a discounted price. You can get different sizes like the you can with the bags, and you can also get all one flavor or they offer a variety box which is typically a mix of 3 different flavors. I also introduced my boyfriend to this brand of biscuits now he avidly purchases them for his two Boxer’s. Definitely would highly recommend picking them up testing them out for your dog. These chews are absolutely brilliant, my dog is so fussy and I have tried so many different types and brands over the years… but these… he loves them! I was a bit dubious to give him these at first as he’s an older dog and 99% of other chews have made his mouth bleed and they get stuck in and around his remaining teeth, also there isn’t a ‘meaty’ smell to these as you often find with other treats out there. These chews have tiny holes like a sponge inside, and go slightly mushy when in contact with his saliva and so he finds them so much easier to eat, compared to others that are far too hard… and he really enjoys these. I have found his breath to be a lot better as well as the slight plaque he has on his back teeth seems to be better than it was. I think these are an excellent quality dog chew that helps with the daily routine of teeth cleaning. My dog really loves these chews. She starts doing her little happy dance when she sees the bag and does her best sit for them. The sticks are quite large and firm, and although my dog eats them quite quickly, it still takes her a minute or so to get through it which is much better than other similar products which are usually gone in seconds! She has good teeth anyway, but she’s reaching the age where her teeth and gums could start to become an issue as she absolutely hates having her teeth brushed. These chews seem to be a good alternative for helping to keep her mouth healthy. She hasn’t gotten bored of them at all either. My only concern (and the reason I didn’t award 5 stars) is that occasionally they make her gums bleed a little, as the ridges are quite firm and she does eat them quite fast. For that reason I would probably not want to give them to her every day, but every few days would probably be sufficient to maintain good oral hygiene. I was honoured to be selected to trial these for our lovely family dog she’s quite a massive german sheoheard cross. We incorporated these into the daily routine and I think it was the highlight of her day. The pourus texture was not a problem for her teeth still being a oversized puppy by nature. I noticed a change in her breath within the first week it was lovely to see such a change in her teeth the following weeks and knowing that there are no harmful chemicals or preservatives in these was really good. She is a healthy dog and is very spoilt but I also noticed a change in her coat. I do not know if anyone else has noticed this with their dogs. I always buy these when their on offer but the only thing I would mention that needs improving is the size of the packet and how many you get in these. Although we buy the large ones I find their not large enough and the pack does not last as long. The packaging itself was nicely presented, east to open/close etc but I wonder if such a big company could do better either buy making their brand knows for recycling these or if u return them in the post perhaps donate to charity. Or even include a voucher scheme in the packaging where u get a money off coupon. I am so pleased we were selected to trial these. I like your product but you need to adjust packaging for small dogs. I only have one Shih Tzu/Yorky. I can never get through a whole bag in 10 days. It’s far too many. It’s very wasteful. I have tried at least 20+ different treats for these dogs. They were big on the Bacon stuff in the blue bag but I didn't like how it seemed they were on drugs with that product. These dogs would cry for them and then refused their normal food. Not a fan of that. So I stumbled across an article on grain free for dogs, and tried this treat. I've been buying the small flavored boxes for several years for my 3 Heelers (13, 3, & 1 yrs old) for treats and love the small size. Dogs love them too! The last 2 boxes I purchased I noticed the colors are way more vivid, especially the red ones. I worry about the extra dyes, especially cancer causing red dyes and have my fingers crossed these don't contain those. I trusted purina as i give my dog the purina snaps which he loves. My dog had diarrhea and threw up and i had to take him to the Hospital. The Vet thought he had pancreatitis. He had horrible diarrhea for a week and was needing to go out every hour or less. Two weeks later, we gave him the second bone and it happened again. Poor baby was absolutely miserable. I’ve never tasted these but my Lab has and loves them. After a night of drinking, my husband tried these when he thought they were a snack one night. The kitchen light was off and the lid of the container was open, anyway, all I hear is a loud regurgitation sound. My husband wouldn’t recommend. My dog really likes this brand of treats, and I do as well because they’re quite easy to break into smaller pieces for training purposes. However, as soon as I opened the last bag I bought of these, I knew immediately I wouldn’t purchase any more of them. They were rock hard and extremely dry right out of the bag. I got these as something new for my pup. She likes them a lot. 1 of the few treats I’ve found that slows her down for a good 30+ mins until she chews it all. I get her the small/medium but she could probably get away trying the large too as she’s near the top of the “medium sized dog”. She loves anything with peanut butter and I wasn’t sure how she’d do with the chicken because she doesn’t tolerate “processed” chicken well. Our two dachshunds LOVE these ! The little one, who is a mini dappled and special because he is partly blind and the equivalent of a human albino, and is super sweet, gets on his back legs, jumping around a and almost spinning, going crazy for these.! Then he runs and hides so his "brother", a regular size, won't try to take it from him. Although Gus, our regular size doxie, has never taken one from Bo, the "baby". Gus sits right next to my feet on the floor until he finishes his. It keeps them quiet and calm for at least 10 minutes. I wish they came in a medium size so it would keep them calm for a little longer. But they do love them and I will keep buying them for my granddoggies ! After all, it is my job to spoil them ! I am a dog trainer and these treats are loved by every dog I have ever trained! What I also like about them is that they can be made smaller by breaking them in half and remolding them. They are already low calorie, but breaking them in half makes them last twice as long and keeps the dog from getting too full during hour long training sessions. I have attempted the same thing with other soft training treats and it doesn’t work, they are too dried out to remold. Another point is that these treats hold their moisture in the zip lock bag they come in. Other soft training treats dry out regardless of their packaging. I highly recommend these low cal, tasty training treats!

These are a great training treat for my pup! They are small so I can give many without much worry about the calories. My pup loves all the flavors I have tried so far (beef, bacon, and chicken). They are soft and have a strong scent. They leave my hands and whatever I put them in smelling like them, but the scent gets my pup excited and is part of what my pup loves! The bag they come in is resealable and leaves the scent locked in (at least for me, my pup can most likely still smell them because she always knows). Highly recommend as training treats and positive reinforcement for pups!lizzie.p
