Horrible smelling. Didn't notice smell until I smelled a funny smell from my dog then smelled the toy. Not a good smell and got worse with washing. It's also not durable. Not a good brand and shouldn't smell of anything. Almost a musty scent. Could be the fabric if so who wants to give your dog something that smells bad. I returned it they tossed it. We received our Duraforce Dog Toy in the mail today. What a cute toy! This toy we received was in the form of a "crab". We have a cocker spaniel and while she tries to play with it, it's so well constructed that I think she has a hard time chewing it. While it may not be a great toy for our dog, it's definitely a well constructed dog toy and would do well for a larger type dog like a shepherd. The toy has a rating system (from 1-10) called the DuraScale. Duraforce dog toys start at 6 and this particular toy is rated as a 9. As I mentioned, while it's not necessarily a great toy for our dog, this would be a very good choice for someone that has a large dog that plays rough with their toys. This most definitely is a durable toy. However my Cairn Terrier Murder is his toys with surgical precision and was able to get into this within 5 to 10 minutes. Itās easy enough to just get in through a seam and tear into it. I was afraid it would almost be to durable as I could not even get the toy to squeak on my own power. My dog loves anything and everything that squeaks, but they don't last long. I've bought him balls for dogs that he has torn apart within minutes. This ball so far has been the exception. It has bristles and like a honey comb texture to it. It also squeaks. It's a very thick neon green ball. No clue what its made out of, but it takes some effort in to making it squeak with one hand. I received this bright green plastic ball dog toy. This toy is fully plastic and there are no openings in the ball. It does have many ridges and valleys in it to allow your dog to chew. It is a squishy type that the dog is able to chew and squeeze. There is a loud squeaker inside the green ball. I am not the biggest fan of loud squeakers because my dog like to squeak them over and over, but this one is not too bad. This ball also bounces erratically and if you bounce it the toy is supposed to bounce many different ways so the dog is always surprised. The ball also floats! I think it would be a good one for the water and pool. It is a good size for my Boykin Spaniel. It has also held up to a lot of chewing so far!! All 4 dogs I've given these balls to have absolutely loved them. I would consider 3 of the 4 dogs as "aggressive players," meaning many of their favorite toys end up at least somewhat shredded not long after they arrive, but these toys are somehow not like the others! The balls are soft but surprisingly durable. I will say, they destroy the bone-shaped toy MUCH faster than the ball-shaped toy, I think it's the angle they can bite the bone vs the angle of the large ball. It's an inexpensive toy and definitely a fan favorite. It's soft and it squeaks and it smells like bacon inside, so when we squeak the ball by their faces they go absolutely nuts because the air coming out of the toy smells like bacon. They love it so much, I highly recommend this product! Also, I ordered one for a friend's dog and their Walmart had the product in their nearby store and delivered the toy just 9 hours after I ordered it. That's the fastest delivery I've ever heard of!! Not once but twice in 1 year and 4 days, my dog (140lb Rottweiler) has gotten ahold to the large size balls chewed it and swallowed it (whole) causing her to have to have surgery to remove it from her intestines. This orange ring dog toy from DuraForce has been perfect for playing fetch with my dog! We love that it has multiple squeakers and is made with durable plastic coated woven mesh material. We have been playing with it every day and the bright orange color is perfect for finding in the grass. This toy also floats which is awesome! We have tossed it in the pool a few times for my dog to retrieve and she loves it. This toy is made so well I can tell it will last a long time! It's easy to rinse off and clean in the sink. This brand is the only kind that lasts with my dog. We still have to keep a couple in rotation and replace them every few months, but thatās amazing compared to other toys he will chew through in minutes. The crab shape is his favorite! I will say to watch out for versions that have a bit of softer material, such as the duck which has a soft nose. As soon as he finds a soft spot my dog will chew it open and the stuffing comes out! He is only a 30 pound corgi mix and is very gentle with all of our belongings but he knows he is allowed to chew these so he goes nuts. I bought the small toppls and my two cavaliers love them. I've used it at dinner time with soft foods and some chopped up pieces of prime100 and it kept them busy for a good 7-ish minutes (which is much longer than the few seconds it usually takes them to practically inhale their food). I love that it can be used with kibble as well as a treat dispenser (although you need to buy two different sized ones to do this). Overall very impressed, but I would recommend waiting until they're on sale to buy.smp
These are amazing. We're in the process of diagnosing some GI issues with our 8 month puppy, and she's on a very limited diet and can't have any treats, chews or bones. It's a terrible age to not be able to give anything but prescription food. She can't be trusted with soft toys or rope toys, and has no interest in kongs or other rubber things. These are perfect for keeping her busy. We pack her kibble and some wet food in them and freeze them. They take her a good 30 minutes or more to finish, and she has yet to damage one. Plus, they're super easy to clean. I just throw them in the dishwasher!Michelle

This toy is great, the only reason for 4 stars is because my dog personally, didnāt use it for more than a few minutes. Thatās just my dog though, I bought it because a friend of mine said her dogs used it for hours and loved it, so itāll just depend on your dogās disposition. Good durability, allows her to get some energy out in trying to get to the treat in the toy. The toy has the ability to be hand washed easily or put it in the dishwasher. I put some Greek yogurt in the Tux and froze it, and my dog likes to try and get the yogurt out.Kaitlyn E.
My dog Otto loves all of his puzzle toys so I bought a Tux for my sisterās dog as sheās never had a puzzle toy before. I have a dachshund that was born with an atrophied front paw rendering it useless. I wanted a toy specifically for him. After writing to Westpaw they made a couple of suggestions and I settled on Tux. I froze a little coconut oil in it and then put treats inside. It is perfect! Morgan loves it and is able to get to his treats with a little effort. He has been busy at it for the last 10 minutes. My doodle is still going with her Tux. I wanted to really love this toy. It's actually the second time I bought it…but only out of desperation because it lasted longer than all the other toys my dog has destroyed. I don't have a big dog but he's a determined chewer and can destroy ANYTHING but a Kong. He's a 1 yr old lab/maybe husky/maybe retriever/viszla mix (we think). He LOVED LOVED LOVED this toy but chewed the rope off straight out of the gate. He used that weakness to find a spot to tear in the fabric and reveal the rubber and it was over from there. To be fair if you're using this the right way (for fetch instead of it ending up as a chew toy) it will likely last much, much longer. It's nice and light and throws well and was well-liked by my pup.G.i.t.P.
A friend of ours got out dog just the bumper part of this combo and it has been huge it. It received serious work every day at the beach, and as you can see from my photos even had some group play with several other big dogs. Seemed reasonably durable. I have a German shepherd who loves the pool. We live in a desert, so it's a great way to keep him active in the summer. Previously, I would use the orange Chuckit! balls for pool play because they are very durable and they're his absolute favorite, but he would have to bob a lot to grasp them which left him snorting up a lot of chlorine water. I found this product and felt it would be much easier for him to snag from the water. After two hours of play it held up pretty well. But I am worried it won't last long. He loved it, and had a blast fetching it over and over but he clamps down pretty hard when grabbing it. With his large teeth and strong bite, it made a lot of popping sounds as he would swim it back to the steps and readjust his hold on it. He punctured it quite a bit, but it hasn't fallen apart yet. Some of the stitching is coming undone on the blue ends and they are very weak. It may last longer if you can sew. When he gets it out of the water he does squeeze it as if trying to squeak it, but he's good at stopping when I tell him to. It probably wouldn't last an hour if I let him chew it and he's not even one to destroy toys. There's only been a few toys that have broken from him playing and it's almost always because his teeth puncture it and the stuffing starts falling out. Once this happens our golden retriever will take it and rip it to pieces. This one he is not allowed to have without supervision and only in the pool because it definitely won't last. Our golden actually hates the water, so we don't have to worry about her tearing it up. If you have a dog with a strong bite, or one that loves to chew, I'm not confident this will hold up very well. But I still really like it and it makes a great water toy. It's bright, and floats well. It was easy for my shepherd to grab onto without losing it. He loved it and wasn't very happy I took it from him when we headed back inside. If this one falls apart too soon, I may have to find a more durable pool toy. My camera was dead, but I managed to get some pictures from my phone. I included some photos after coming back inside showing the punctures and the broken stitching on one end after 2 hours of play and limited chewing. The damage was mostly from him just grabbing it from the water as I did not let him chew it outside the water for very long. Update 5/22 – added some photos after about 6 more hours of use. It fell apart around the tag and the inside ended up slipping right out. My shepherd ended up still fetching just the inside. I'm sad that it fell apart so quickly and will have to find something that won't unravel with such a short time of play.F.N.
