And since i've started using this the scent of urine has been obnoxious and potent and i clean it daily with pet lysol spray and hot water. This is a purchase that I can conclude as a lesson learnt. I purchased this product because it was smaller than my other pet unit which allowed it for portability when traveling. The turf itself is okay quality, easy to clean and drains correctly. However, the middle draining tray is not designed at all to work at all. The urine just collects on top of the drain tray because the holes and bumps aren't in a functional area and it barely drains to the lower tray. It is made from a texture that soaks up the urine instead of allowing it to flow off and threw, therefore it collects oder, collects urine that won't wash/scrub off, it can't be cleaned properly and all that waste causes the material to break down. When I say break down, I mean in ever sense. It starts to break off in pieces. Every time I clean the product, more peices fall off and it gets smaller and smaller. Basically, this product does not work. I learned that I should stick with what works and not take chances of cheaper off brand products. Even though the size of my other potty unit is less portable, it actually works! I am so happy I made the switch from Tidy Cats to this! I’ve been using the Tidy Cat’s Breeze litter box system for a year now. I tried using Tidy Cats expensive pellet refills, and it was awful! They don’t absorb smells at all. Then I heard about people using pine pellets in the box instead. I has never bought pine pellets before, this product was my first choice just by chance. I saw it on the shelf, grabbed it, and crossed my fingers. The cats had no problems making the switch! It has a natural (and lovely!) smell of pine and if the cat urinates I cannot smell it at all. When the old pine dries I stir the pellets with the scoop and the sawdust falls thru the grate on top of the pad. After a week I simply roll up the sawdust in the pad like a trash burrito and toss it in the garbage. The only downside is the cats can’t really bury their “brown biscuits”, but I use the Litter Genie anyway so it’s a quick clean-up and no trouble for me. The pellets are large, so they don’t get stuck in kitty’s paws and get tracked all over the house. Not to mention it’s affordable! You’ll spend WAY less money on cat litter by switching to this! Our 8 week old puppy took to this immediately. We live in a condo so we needed a solution to let our puppy ***** safely before she's fully vaccinated. There's no "Safe space" outside where we can take her that other dogs wouldn't have gone already. I had no idea if it would be hard initially to get her used to it, but we plopped her down on it as soon as we brought her home and she went *** right away. We had to re-direct her a couple of times during the **** sniff, but after a few times she knew this was her ***** spot. Doesn't mean she was ***** trained that quickly 🙂 but she knew when we put her there that it was her spot to go. 3 weeks later, this is the best thing we could have done. Having to take a puppy out every 15-20 minutes living in a condo would have been a nightmare. We keep it on our patio which is fairly large, and I never smell anything. I've ordered a 2nd one to keep in my car so when I take her places (carrying her only ), I can stick her down on the "safe grass" so she doesn't have to hold it the entire time. I will probably keep one on our patio well beyond when I can take her outside also, for early morning and late night *****'s, until she's old enough not to go so frequently. My 6 year old long-haired chihuahua Choco is pad trained, but we've been having this issue where he steps on his fresh *** and tracks it all over the apartment floor, making me mop the floor multiple times a day. *** pads also don't do a great job with odor control, so it was time to look for an alternative. And fresh patch solved my problem! Choco's always been good with peeing on grass when we're on walks, so he picked it up in no time. We received the patch on Jan 8 so it's been 4 days (and Choco pees about 3-4 times a day) and I haven't noticed any odor. With *** pads, I had to replace every day (if not twice a day) to get rid of the urine smell. So this is working out great for us! Excellent – After reading about bird nutrition I thought I would try to get my cockatiel, Jasper, onto a mixture of pellets and seed to give him a more rounded diet. He is quite a fussy eater and, as others have also mentioned, he is put off by treats that are too hard i.e nutriberries – even though they look very appetising. I wasnt overly optimistic and thought the process of getting him to eat the pellets may take weeks so I just put a small amount in with his seed to start with and offered Jasper a pellet by hand. To my amazement he ate the pellet from my hand and then went on to pick all of the others out of his bowl of seed and eat these first. Im amazed. Theyre like catnip for cockatiels! Would definitely reccomend trying them with birds who dont like overly hard treats or fussy eaters. The only down side I have is that as they are quite soft and crumbly, and as Jasper is such a messy eater, most of each pellet ends up on the floor of his cage… making for very expensive waste!lisathomas74

Healthy And Delicious, According To My Birds! – I have one Parrotlet and two Cockatiels, and this is the first pellet food they all seem to love. I was hesitant about feeding pellets in the first place – no moisture, nearly all of them contain soy, sugars etc. – but I have found that this is not only the healthiest pellet food I can buy, but also the tastiest! The only issue I have is that a LOT of the pellet is crumbled up and simply left as a powder in the bottom of the feeding bowl – for an expensive product, there is a lot of waste. However, I have had great success with mixing these leftovers with their dinner – a mix of soaking beans and pulses, fruit and veg and a powdered vitamin supplement. I highly recommend anyone using these pellets to try that tactic as it will save you a lot of money! Overall I highly recommend this product, as it is nutritionally superior to pretty much any other pellet food I can find – no added vitamins means you can add your own powdered supplement if you wish and ensure you are giving your birds exactly what they need. I was gifted these Tidy Cats Breeze Cat Litter Pellets Refill in exchange for my honest review. Unfortunately, I'm not a huge fan. I will admit originally I thought the idea of pellets for the litterbox as opposed to typical cat litter seemed interesting, but I don't think it quite panned out for my kitty and I like we had hoped. I love that it claims to be basically dust free, because it truly is. I hear much less sneezing from my kitty when he's in his box. I wish the fragrance of the scented pellets was a bit stronger, it was pretty weak. I also wish the pellets soaked the urine up more effectively and a bit faster. It seems to pass through the pellets and sit on the bottom of the box and my cat tends to do his business where he urinates, covers it, gets out the litter box, does a quick lap around the house, and within about 3 minutes, he's back to poop. I notice it confuses him that the urine is still there when he comes back. I just don't think this is the right litter product for us, unfortunately, but very thankful to try!blairb

All my cats adjusted well to the system, but spent time each day looking through the pebbles for their pee?? Cat: "I smell it, kinda, but where is it?" Me: "Come on, out of the box! Good boy! Here's a treat." After about three months I noticed my Siamese's paw pads felt rough and he seemed not as playful; he is our biggest cat at 16 lbs; he's not fast, just big with long lean limbs and big bones (a pure breed apple head). After 6 months, my daughter who's chore it is to trim the cats nails came to me am said that I needed to look at Tamoko's paw pads (& she was wringing her hands … probably bc she hadn't noticed sooner that something was wrong). They were torn to shreads. 🙁 He had started going just outside the box starting a week earlier and we couldn't figure out why. Now we know. The poor dear. The vet said it was most likely his weight on the rough edged pebbles if the litter and recommended a soft newspaper litter while he healed & told us to get rid of the Breeze System. The focus here should not be on a person's lawn but on the health of the animal. Caution should be taken in lowering the pH balance of an animal. Lower pH means more acidic and if the body is too acidic this will cause acidosis, which would stress the biochemistry of the animal to neutralize the pH imbalance, leaching calcium, magnesium, and other nutrients from the bones, muscles, etc. Spend some time reading about this before recklessly playing with the health of your animal. Search Google for "pH body balance" before using this Grass Saver product. Care for your animal, not your grass. Conversely, it is possible that the ingredients (B vitamins, etc.) contained in this product may be nutritious. I am not saying this product is bad. I'm just giving a fair warning to consider. If you wanted to be thorough about it then perhaps you could figure out exactly what each ingredient is expected to do and if any negative effect is a concern, such as an overly acidic pH balance, then perhaps you could adjust for that with a lower dosage or with some other supplement (minerals?) to counteract it. In any case, you should test the pH of your animal to avoid acidosis or alkalosis. Kits are inexpensive and available online or at health food stores. The pH should be between 7.35 and 7.45, but it's probably safer to be on the higher end than the lower.

Pros: These pellets are great. No pee smell. No dust. Less litter left behind around the box. The box is not as heavy as with regular powder litter. Cons: It’s more expensive, but getting less to no dust is worth it. It’s a little difficult finding the poop (if the cat likes to bury it) because of the litter’s dark brown color. Make sure the room is well lit when you clean. Overall: Everyday I remove the poop as soon as I see it. Once a day I carefully scoop out what has become powder and add a few more pellets, if needed. Stella is a 6 yr old Chi Terrier Mix. I took her to the NORTHWEST ANIMAL CARE HOSPITAL because she hadn't ate for 1 1/2 days, then threw up blood late in the evening and next day her poo had blood in it and allot of drops on the floor. After ex rays and blood tests Vet said she had a high level of bad bacteria in her gut. Started I/D Chicken on Feb 28 afternoon and evening. I got 3 cans and the first can was very dried out and crumbly. I called them and they said that is the way it is suppose to be? Really. I opened second can when 1st one was empty it was not dried out at all, so I don't think it is suppose to be so dried out like that exp date is 01/2021. I added Hot Water to it for a few days then I had my Son go to PetSmart and get the Only Natural Pet nutrition boost Chicken Bone Broth and been mixing it into the food since. She is on this 4 times a day every 4 hours for 10 days and can't have any dry food or treats until blood test is done again to make sure the bad bacteria is gone. Will be opening the 3rd can in the morning, so I will be getting more cans. She seems to be doing allot better, more energy, seems happier and playing.

Due to a combination of factors (including difficulty ensuring that supplements were actually being administered at our previous barn), my 22-year-old mare was very stiff, slow and lethargic. She has made a near 180 turnaround and this product is just one of many positive changes that have been made so I am hesitant to give too much credit to any single item. She has been on this supplement for about 6-7 weeks now and definitely "creaks" less and moves more fluidly since starting on this. I actually thought that I couldn't ride my mare anymore and now she's giving (kid) lessons a few days a week and I am back to riding her as well. I'm still contemplating going back to straight MSM because of the respiratory benefits that it offers for a comparable price to this product as she has a slight cough at times and I've had good luck with that product in the past as well. I do think that this supplement does what it is advertised to do, its just too early to tell if it's the ideal fit or not. I will also add that if you have a picky eater, this seems to be a winner. This product really works! My old horse suffers from chronic laminitis due to PPID. Even with careful diet management I would find him walking slowly and laying down often. Bought a smaller size of this first to see if it would really do what was needed. It turned all of the pain behaviors around! His movement is fluid and I don't see him lying down. The product works great, however read this carefully to determine the quantity to order, the website is misleading. The manufacturer sells the product in 1 gram (small dog), 2 gram (medium dog), and 4 gram (large dog) sizes. Each package contains 3 packets to be given over 3 days. In order to get the correct amount for your dog's weight, you may need to order more than one package. According to the manufacturers instructions, you need to administer one gram of product (daily) for every ten pounds of animal weight. So, up to: 10 lbs = 1 gram; 20 lbs = 2 grams; 30 lbs = 3 grams; 40 lbs = 4 grams; 50 lbs = 5 grams; 60 lbs = 6 grams, etc. So, if your dog weighs 11 to 20 lbs, you need to order a 2 gram (medium dog) size and give him 1 packet per day for 3 days. But if your dog weighs 21-30 lbs, you need to order a 1 gram (small dog) AND a 2 gram (medium dog) package, and give your dog a packet from each size for 3 days. The product is a powder; many dogs will not eat it on dry food, so if you usually feed your dog dry food, mix it in with some wet dogfood and most dogs will chow it down. A puppy was pretty much dropped in my lap several days ago, her belly was SO bloated as she hadn't had any vet care prior. Before even getting her home I pondered the wormers at our local Petco, selected this one. On day 3 the worms came out, though her poor bloated belly was reduced after the first day. Will use this again if worming can't wait for the vet. Due to her weight we did have to weigh out the medicine (half a gram ='s 1/4 teaspoon), and you must have an accurate weight on the dog and an accurate measuring device for it to be as effective as it can be without giving too much. I went with the Safeguard brand because I've been using the livestock version for other animals with success. She ate it fine with cooked chicken/broth mixed into her kibble.Mandy R

during the late fall to the end of winter I give these to my dogs to prevent worms. Then early spring I switch over to Heartguard. You get three packs. I use two packs per dog per month. Each pack 40 pounds. Total 80 pound dog. Sprinkle in with a quarter cup of warm broth, stir well. pour over their dry food and blend in. They won't notice and eat their food. Sneaky but, it works. Saves me tons of money. I have two large dogs and Heart-guard can be very expensive every month so I subsitute during the cool to cold months. You save and your dogs stay healthy from worms. I bought these for our senior dog who was on an antibiotic, but they arrived on her final day of the antibiotic so she did not have them. I instead began slowly giving them to our other senior dog who has had loose stools since we got her (2012), despite being on foods for sensitive stomachs and trialing other foods and medications. They have been helping her quite a bit and we are planning on buying more. Her stools are much more "normal" now. They key though is slowly getting them used to the product. We have other Zesty Paws products and have had to do the same thing.

I have been getting these probiotics for my dog for a while now, we've gone through 6 containers! After a vet visit we realized the importance of a probiotic to regulate his sensitive stomach and originally were using the Purina ProPlan powdered one that is sprinkled over food but prefer these! My dog can be a picky eater and after preparing his food he'll decide he doesn't want to eat it, wasting the probiotic (he eats wet food and I give him fresh food later if he didn't eat it). In this form he can choose to eat it whenever he wants and he thinks it's a treat. No more powder to deal with and getting the same great results!

We have been using this product for over a year now and we have not taken Dallas to the vet for digestive issues. He had pancreatitis and dealt with tons of gastrointestinal problems. I was excited to try these soft chews. Every few days I've noticed that my girl beagle seams disinterested in eating her kibble. Being a beagle, I suspect that she's eating something in the yard which upsets her stomach. These chews are small and soft and smell pretty good too. What i like most are the natural proteins and fibers within each morsel. When I gave it to her the first time, she gobbled it up. My dog is a rescue who was literally starved when she was found. She's had digestive issues ever since including lots of mucous in her bowels and some vomiting. Both occur when she is stressed or fearful.
