No its like everything else I have tried does not work I can't even get my cats to get it down. When I first got it I let my cat smell it and he literally gagged (should have stopped there)?then I put it in a syringe and gave it to him and he threw up right after I gave it to him. I adopted an older girl from our local shelter. From what we could tell, she had been on the streets for a long time, but seemed healthy. Unfortunately, within several weeks, she stopped eating and seemed in pain. One morning before I could take her outside she passed quite a load of bladder stones on the floor. Purchased this when my dog started wetting the bed at night. Noticed she wouldn't wake up to be put out but in the morning her bed would be wet. Began giving her these Cranberry Bladder Bites and noticed an immediate difference. Now I'm too afraid to stop giving them to her (especially since she's getting older). I adopted a dog 2 years ago and she is great. I noticed right off the bat though that my dog's bladder would leak when she got excited which I know can be common so I didn't think too much of it at first. Then I noticed it would take her several tries when she would go out to empty her bladder so I expected that the inability to empty her bladder was symptomatic of a UTI. When looking for something to help before another trip to the vet I saw that these bladder bites had high ratings and gave them a try and they worked great, all of her issues even the exited leaking stopped. That was right after I adopted her a couple years ago and during our recent move with everything packed and hard to find she wasn't getting these regularly within a couple months she had started the little bit of leaking again when excited. Have had pain, aches and muscle inflammation for years particularly on my left knee, ankle and foot; to make matters worse about a year ago the Dr. diagnosed me with an osteoarthritic knee; before that time and since have used many products and devices (non-prescription) seeking to alleviate pain and inflammation. That is until about mid- August 2014 when I was introduced to Absorbine Liniment Veterinary Gel while visiting a cousin in Puerto Rico, of course I doubted its effectiveness. Although this product is labeled veterinary liniment and recommended for animals only, I have used it for years for joint and arthritis pain upon the recommendation by my Hollywood Stuntmen friends as the only thing they use. I was pleasantly surprised at the immediate relief felt so have continued to use it since for my personal use and have referred it to many friends who also have become consistent users of this gel product. I prefer the gel since it applies more easily without a mess. I must caution however not to rub your eyes after application until after you have thoroughly washed your hands (and no that is not a word of caution based on personal experience…lol). I highly recommend this product. I’ve been using Zymox for years. My terrier mix has Ear Edge Dermatitis. It’s incurable and usually tears up the edges of the ear from constant cell overgrowth (auto immune) and dogs will be plagued with constant ear issues and itching. When I notice him itching, I put a few drops in ear and massage into ear canals, then rub into the edges of ears. Do this for a couple days, itching stops, ears are clean and have a healthy pink look. It’ll be several weeks before he starts itching again. I had used this before, without success for my cocker spaniel. So, this was my 2nd attempt. It worked great in 1 ear, but not the other. I used it for 14 days, and on day 15, the infection was back in the one ear, but gone in the other. Product works great on certain infections, but not for others unfortunately. I've always liked Zymox products, but this one really impressed me! GSD/BC mix has had continual ear issues since having a hematoma drained in her right ear. The ear lays over and is full of thicker tissue which seems to hold in a ton of moisture. This last bout of pain and scratching was making her (and me!) absolutely crazy and, after a week of use, the regular Zymox I always have on hand just wasn't cutting it. I did a bit of searching and found the Zymox plus advanced formula and figured I'd give that a try before resorting to a vet visit, antibiotics, steroid drops, etc. After the second day of use, she stopped shaking her head, scratching and whining. We took our cat to the vet after he woke me up in the early morning howling in pain trying to urinate in the litter box. We discovered he had a UTI and his bladder was very inflamed and full of struvite stones. After a round of antibiotics and other meds to relax his urethra and dissolve the stones, along with new prescription diet food, I started researching other ongoing preventative maintenance options. I ran across Tinkle Tonic in an online forum and was shocked at all of the glowing reviews of how it had been a miracle worker for their pet's issues. So far Tinkle Tonic has been working very well. I see large clumps of pee in the litter box now. We give him about .30 ml. in the morning with regular wet food and then his prescribed UTI Hill's Science Diet food at night. Tinkle Tonic is natural and very economical, too. I would definitely try it if you are looking for other options to help your cat's urinary issues. An overnight stay at the vet and a midnight run to the emergency vet for fear of stones or crystals for our cat who was diagnosed with FLUTD since he was a kitten, and being told each visit that it was just chronic inflammation (a frustrating but common side effect of FLUTD) and there wasnt much the vets could do other than pain meds and anti inflammatories. Needless to say we were ready to try some additional preventative care and heard good things about this product. Its been 2 months now of adding the tonic to our cat's prescription wet food and so far so good. He doesn't notice or seem to mind the taste, no adverse effects of adding the recommended dose to his diet and best of all hes been happy and healthy. Seems to really help. It doesn't take much, either. I only give my cats 3 drops per day, and that seems to be enough to keep things flowing the way they should. One of my males had a problem when I introduced a new cat into the household, he wasn't stopped up, but did start holding it in and that caused inflammation. After a vet visit and meds from the vet to help him through the initial problems, this has helped keep him from holding it in again. It won't work miracles, if a cat, especially a boy, doesn't urinate for a period of 24 – 48 hours, take him in to the vet to make sure there's no blockage since that can very quickly become life-threatening, but this is good for maintaining things in working order.ageek33k

This is an excellent product with the best ingredients to heal (not just treat) intestinal lining problems. My girl has a bad case of IBS and was constantly crying and in horrible pain even after I put her on an organic home made diet. I bought the power version and for 3 weeks I mixed it in with her wet food as directed and did NOT do anything. Her 24×7 pain was excruciating for her and for me so I did not give up. After doing a lot of research, I realized that similar 'human' products for the same problems suppose to be given 30 minutes before meals. So, I diluted it in water and added a bit of sweat potato (for taste) and gave it to her, 30 minutes before her food, and IT WORKED! Like a miracle her pain was gone. For the first time after 3 months she was able to sleep peacefully. She is 11 lb so I give her 1/8 tsp of the powder and ¼ tsp of sweat potato (for taste) diluted in 1-2 tablespoons of water, 20 minutes before her meals, 3 times per day. I also give her probiotics, digestive enzymes, DGL(Deglycyrrhizinated Licorice), and Seacure (contains L-glutamine which repairs the mucosal lining) all mix with her food and I am happy to said she is no longer in any pain and on her way to full recovery! Just remember if you get the power version dilute it in water first (you don't have to do that with the liquid version) AND please give it 20 minutes BEFORE meals if your dog is in bad shape like mine.Loving pet owner
I occasionally add this to my 13-year-old cat's food, or even administer a few drops directly into his mouth, when he's having tummy troubles. He will sometimes have trouble with vomiting due to mild IBD, and once due to pancreatitis. Every time I've used this product it has stopped or greatly lessened his vomiting incidents. My Bichon has inflammatory bowel disease which has caused loose stools sometimes with blood. I tried changing her food, but she still had bouts of it. She has also been very uncomfortable a few times when she had an episode of it. Since I started giving her the Colon Rescue 2-3 times daily she has had only one or two short episodes of diarrhea.
