My Cavalier King Charles has been in and out of vet visits, testing, and urgent care nearly nonstop for about 3 weeks now. On 22 July 2017 my guinea pig was given a massive Vibravet doxycycline overdose that damaged his digestive system. Both of our cats have tried this probiotic/prebiotic powder and have no trouble eating it as long as we mix it with wet food, which we normally don't buy for them. When mixing it with dry food, the powder just settles to the bottom of the bowl. My primary reason for choosing this powder was due to adopting a second cat, a young stray who was having loose stools. Our older cat was not having any issues. By the time I was able to try the powder, the new cat was no longer having the loose stools. He did throw up his dry food a couple of times, which we thought was due to eating too fast. I've been using product for about a week. The product comes with a small scoop to measure amount to put on food according to pet weight. It is a pretty good sized container. It says it's tasteless. The product dissolves instantly on wet food. I'm sure if you sprinkle it on a small amount of kibble and stir well your pet would eat it. The product changed my cats stool from light tan to a darker brown but hasn't changed his loose stool consistency. My family and I live in a small Northern California town, and we were just hit with a devastating fire that's decimated over 100,000 acres, and is still burning. We we're lucky and still have our home. But the night the fire started I noticed a sudden change in our beloved cat. She became extremely lethargic. This is an excellent product with the best ingredients to heal (not just treat) intestinal lining problems. My girl has a bad case of IBS and was constantly crying and in horrible pain even after I put her on an organic home made diet. My Bichon has inflammatory bowel disease which has caused loose stools sometimes with blood. I tried changing her food, but she still had bouts of it. My dog loves pumpkin flavor and food in general, so there were no issues with consumption. This particular formulation is labeled Gut Health which is great, but unfortunately, my dog's gut is extremely sensitive and every morning he vomited. I can't say for certain if Zesty Paws Probiotic Bites was the cause, but I took him off of the probiotic after a week and the vomiting ceased. Although I cannot continue using this probiotic, I would still recommend to friends and family with pets who have less sensitive stomachs. It appears to be a high quality product with sturdy, well-formed treats. The pumpkin flavoring is not overpowering and the container is sturdy and its unique color calls attention to the product.Tony D

If you have a pet and haven’t tried zesty paws yet, what are you waiting for?! My dog was diagnosed with IBS last year which sounds funny for a dog but it was really scary! He would throw up and have accidents around the house until I found out what was causing it. Since then he’s been on a new diet and my vet suggested giving him supplements! I found zesty paws through chewy and loved that they were treat like so my dog wouldn’t feel like he was taking another pill! I give him gut health treats everyday! But there was a problem! I purchased these for my Kimi and Kenny in training. they have sensitive stomach and eats grain free high-quality food. they having some issues with having soft stools which made it difficult to clean up behind her. I got these hoping that they would firm them stool up a little. They quickly did and now it is much easier to clean up when they potties. They absolutely loves the taste and gets excited when they sees the container. They eats it without a problem as if it's a treat. They also hasn't had any sort of gas since starting these either and thier appetite has increased which is great because they were a bit on the thin side.
