Dog Bed Duvet Covers For Sale (2024 Update)

We love the cute design and my dog loves his new bed! We stuffed it with plastic bags and it feels like an air bed for him, he loves it. I love that it is washable and so much better for the environment than the dog beds we've gotten in the past that are difficult to clean, tear at seems and need to be thrown away. I love these doggie duvets so much I bought 2 more for the other pups in the household! They are extremely good quality fabric/seams and the prints are really cute. I shoved a few old pillows and towels in them and the dogs are thrilled! Such a great idea and a fraction of the cost of similarly sized dog beds. The med/large is big enough for my german shepherd! Delivery was extremely prompt after we ordered the product. It's a thick, high- quality fabric, easy to slip on. I would definitely purchase again. Unfortunately the duvet was more brown than the royal color we had expected. And the zipper was too short to allow us to easily put the bed together. Finally the bed we had intented the duvet for was just a tiny bit too large and the duvet would not work – there was no slack. But we did find another bed in another room to use with the duvet.Jerry

this duvet is everything I hoped it would be! The quality is wonderful and durable. My dogs always want to dig through to China before laying down and it means lots of ruined dog beds. This cover goes right over the old bed and I can also stuff it with my older clothes instead of tossing them out. Great concept, difficult execution if you want anything beyond a small bed. I purchased the huge, not taking into consideration the amount of "stuff" it would take to fill it. I was able to fill it after parting with things I wasn't originally intending too. The bed is just not comfortable, however. I can't imagine unless you have all plush clothes and pillows to fill it with that it would ever be truly comfortable. The dogs haven't slept on it in a week. I think the waterproof liner is also hot and noisy which deters them. Again, I love the concept, but it just was not a good purchase for my little dog family.Brett W

The material was a very high quality & loved the color and design. As a dog bed I found it to be nonfunctional. From the photos, I expected to be able to stuff it so that it was reasonably flat on the surface. I actually used the stuffing from 3 old pillows, as description seemed to indicate was ideal. I ended up with a fat & lumpy pillow which seems to escape the interest of my 2 dogs. However, I do love the idea & the fabric & sewing quality.Linda B

Tough material to keep our young Border Collie at bay. I love that I can stuff it with my old clothes that were too tattered to donate and we're otherwise landfill bound. The design is cute and the size was perfect for covering half of the crate so the pup won't soak it when he gets exuberant with his water bowl. We have Pug Pups who are trying really hard to make it through the night without a mishap. They do really well but sometime they do have a accident. This accident proof liner makes a great safety net and helps keep any mess to a minimum. Great product, great peace of mind!Donald L

It has already been initiated by my Gentle Giant Great Dane and it held up perfectly! All I had to do is wipe it down and then let it dry. It's also very tough material against all 3 of my dogs nails. No rips on them and one of them digs at the bed before she gets comfortable. This is the exact material I've been looking for. We love the fact that we can stuff the bag with old pillows and clothes. Our dog loves to lay on it. The size is a little bit of a problem. The difference between large and huge is too much. We got the large, which was recommended for dogs 70 lbs or less for our 80 lb dog, because the huge was too big. It would be helpful if they expanded the large size by about 2 inches a side. The other problem is that it is really a magnet for fur. I don’t know if it is more noticeable because it is a bright color. We are still very happy with our purchase. Our dog enjoys sleeping on it, and I am very happy with the design.Anna P

Well-made cover and looks durable. Many prints to choose from and I like the one I chose. My 6 lb dog thinks it is very comfy after I stuffed it with my granddaughter's clothes that she has outgrown. I am sure the landfills are full of dog beds so thank you for the great idea! 🙂Debbie B

I purchased the water proof duvet and a canvas duvet for three medium dog beds. My reasoning was to fill the duvets with dog beds I already had that were ripped and or hard to clean. Now I can easily take off the canvas duvet and wash that. The medium size is good for our 60-70 pound dogs. The canvas duvet feels heavy duty. Hoping it will stand up to multiple washings in the future.Anonymous

We have purchased the Premium Fleece Dog Bed for many of our dogs and they are always enjoyed by our dogs. They seem to find them comfortable to snuggle into the fleece and the soft, cushy filling. They are easy to clean with the quick zip-off cover. They fit nicely in spaces in any room. Our dog also has the LLBean couch bed and has really liked that too. I cover the couch bed with an LLBean dog blanket that I can wash quickly because it is not as easy to remove/replace the couch bed cover for washing as how easily the Premium Fleece Dog Bed cover can be washed. I purchased the Premium Fleece Dog Bed Set, Medium, Rectangular as well as the Replacement Cover in Denim. I have a 12 lb. Chihuahua/Fox Terrier that is about the size of an average Jack Russell or Beagle and she loves, loves, loves her bed. The padding is well made and has a little bit of a groove all around with a little bit of a bump in the center. So it is not completely flat, which I have learned from observing our furry pet that it serves a purpose. She likes to rest within the groove for security. On other days she likes to rest her head and chest on the bump in the center which elevates her a little bit. Our dog used have a cheap bed that became too soft and did not hold up well once it got old. Especially when she laid against the side walls. It had a tendency to flatten out. Plus, it had a plush-life fabric that was too warm in the summertime, and she would hang partially off the bed onto the hardwood floor which is cooler. So, comfort, temperature, structure, and durability were factors taken into consideration in searching for a new bed. I had read reviews about the padding falling apart in the washer or tearing from digging. I have not had to wash the pad because I have covered the bed and denim cover with a crib-size bed pad and a fitted bedsheet for added protection; and because our pooch has always enjoyed the feel and texture of a bedsheet. She just got used to looking for cooling spots on her beds after we tried keeping her cool on other retailer beds that had either foam or cheap fill which caused her become too warm. But she does love her Sherpa adult throw. Not familiar with L.L. Bean pet products, I decided to purchase the bed set that came with the fleece cover and also ordered the replacement cover in denim which is a soft denim. It is not stiff or rough as in jean denim. I was concerned the fleece cover might be too warm, and I wanted to have the option to change from a warmer cover to a cooler one being that it was summertime when my order arrived, so that was the reason in my purchasing the denim replacement cover as well. When my order arrived, I placed the denim cover on the pad and it has held up really well. It doesn't show dirt and our pooch likes it. I was afraid it would rip when she sniffed the bed and began digging but that has not been the case. So it has stood pretty well to that. I have not replaced the denim cover with the fleece cover yet, but weather is starting to change and getting cooler. I will probably change from the denim liner to the Sherpa liner soon. I also want to add that I ordered a medium size bed which is a little bigger than what is recommended for a dog her weight/size because she likes to spread out. That was also one reason why I chose a bed that is not enclosed or has side walls. If it's any help to anyone reading this review, the medium bed is about four inches short the length of a baby crib mattress. It's the best bed I have bought. I haven't seen anything else at other stores that meet the same quality of L.L. Bean products, and I highly recommend this bed.Mimi

We use these in our hotel for our guests that bring their dogs and, oh boy, do we get a LOT of guests with adorable dogs of all ages and sizes. These beds are holding up amazingly well through multiple washings. I'm actually here on the LL Bean website to order more because we have had so many dogs staying with us, we have had nights where we did not have enough dog beds to accommodate all of our four-legged guests. I highly recommend these beds. We have the Platinum color and they look very classy and are still so durable and stain-resistant.
