GET THIS!!! I was hesitant to buy due to the price but it is worth every penny. Our rescue puppy had severe separation anxiety and would cry in his crate every night, throughout the night – this completely stopped after we paired him with his Snuggle Buddy. He LOVES his Buddy. A couple of user tips that worked for us:- after washing the Snuggle Buddy, we lightly rubbed our worn socks on it. Why? Bc our socks are an easy way for our dog to have our scent on his Buddy. This might help those whose dogs won’t take to the Buddy. Our puppy was apprehensive at first, but after we rubbed our socks on it, he immediately plopped down on it and slept. Attached is the picture of him that night :)- we *only* give him the Buddy in his crate, when he’s going to bed or will be crated for some time. He has a Pavlovian response and will automatically go into his crate as soon as he sees the Buddy; this might help some dogs with crate training. We also only give it to him in his crate because he tried shredding it, thinking it’s a toy, when he’s taken it out of the crate. We eliminated that by removing and putting away his Buddy every time we wake him up or let him out of his crate.- I bought bulk Hot Hands hand warmers as refills for heat. Get the small ones made for pockets; the body ones are too large and emit too much heat IMO. The pocket ones are perfect and last 12ish hours.- I also play soothing anti-anxiety dog music or put on a dog music channel from YT (they have ones like a walk on the beach or forest, with dogs in the background). I feel like this combo of the Buddy + music are the one-two combo that make our puppy KO haha.I hope this helps those with puppies or dogs who need extra comfort!
Honestly, I don't know how well this product really works. I brought home my toy/miniature poodle mix on June 8 at age 8 weeks and 1 day, and since he was the first littermate separated, I expected it to be bad. I had a 10 hour drive home, and while he did cry and whine a bit, it wasn't too bad. He cuddled with his snuggle puppy at first, but not too much after that. He seemed to prefer beating it up and pushing it out of the spot I had put it in so he could sit there instead. He still beats it up a bit, but he also drags it back to bed after a while, so maybe he does like it.I crate trained him for overnight only (he has a large playpen for the daytime for the short amounts of time I need to be out of the house), and he adjusted quite quickly. I think I got lucky in the dog temperament lottery, though, and am not really sure I can attribute his quick adjustment to crate training to the snuggle puppy. I turn the beating heart feature on every night just in case it is working, but it's hard to say how effective it is. The first 4 to 5 nights I had him home, he cried and whined for the first 20-30 minutes he was put in the crate. Then I would take him outside after 2 hours for potty and put him straight back in and the crying/whining would start again. It was a very sleepless week until I realized that he could hold it for 4 hours at a time and we only have to get up once a night.After the first week, he adjusted to his crate and has never had an accident in there. He doesn't cry at all and is very reluctant to come out at 4 in the morning when it's potty time. I would say that if you have the extra money, get this product because it definitely doesn't hurt to have it. I really do think it's more about being present for your pup's adjustment period and not sticking him in the crate too often than it is about the efficacy of this product. I will say though that I don't use the snuggle puppy in his playpen, and he does still cry a lot in there, so maybe it is effective!
I've only had this Snuggle Puppy for a couple days so I can't comment on durability or anything. I suspect the only issue I'll potentially run into that could cause issues is how well the puppy holds up to washing. I didn't buy this for a puppy. I actually bought it for newly hatched ducklings in a brooder. Sometimes the time between hatchings leaves me with a single duckling for a day or two. Putting a baby with an adult duck isn't a safe option so I was trying to find an alternative. Stuffed animals help some but I got the feeling they really wanted a heartbeat to calm them. They may have feathers instead of fur but they're still babies!So far I'd say it's duckling approved! After snuggling with regular stuffed animals in his brooder, Eggwyn would peep hysterically for someone to pay attention to him. After putting him near Snuggle Puppy he's finally settled down and sleeping quietly. Ducklings poop a LOT so I know Snuggle Puppy will need to be laundered frequently if he stays with the ducklings. Hopefully he holds up.Edit: Snuggle Puppy survived living with 22 newly hatched ducklings in a brooder, staggered hatching over the course of several weeks. He got pooped on a few times and washed perfectly in the washing machine. I now have two ducks who imprinted on us (didn't have ducklings their age to imprint on), and since they're human ducks they sleep in the bedroom. They sleep under my bed with their Snuggle Puppy every night. About once a week or so Snuggle Puppy will get pooped on, and duck poop is gross (big duck poop is bigger and grosser than duckling poop), so Snuggle Puppy gets tossed in the laundry with the ducks' bedding. He's holding up amazingly well.After seeing how much our ducklings loved their Snuggle Puppy I decided to buy one for a friend as a puppy shower gift. They tell everyone how much their puppy loves her Snuggle Puppy. She sleeps with it in her crate every night, which means they can sleep too.Lesson learned? No matter what species your critter baby is, everyone will love a Snuggle Puppy! I only wish it was easier to get replacement hearts. I'm worried I'll forget to pull the heart out before washing puppy one of these days which would surely kill it.

These are the best toughest dog toys ever. We have two terriers 1 – parsons Russell that kills any toy in 5 seconds,and leaves the toy as a bag. We have had many of these ruff and tuff toys we still have a whole skunk left, but ears have had a bit of a bashing but the body still whole with stuffing and squeaky in tact, we do have others left with some parts damaged but others still whole but the sweeky a bit flat sounding,which is not a bad thing. We have bought these two new ones for our two for Christmas so I can put the old ones in the washing machine. I prefer toys that require some sort of interaction rather than those items that seem do everything while the child watches. This walking puppy does his own stuff but still requires interaction from the operator. What’s more is how he provokes our kiddo’s imagination. She talks and treats the toy as if it was real. Thus far, it seems to be well-built and can handle being dragged when the child wants to go faster than the puppy walks. It is soft and adorable, just like a real puppy! This is a really cute puppy and a really cute idea but I do think it needs a longer leash attached to it because the puppy can't take more than a few steps before the child has to take steps just to keep up with it. I like how it has only two buttons which makes it very simple for a small young child but the button that makes it walk didn't always work on ours. Sometimes you had to push it 2 or 3 times before it would start to walk, but the button that makes it bark and wag its tail works every time and it was so adorable. If it was just a little more realistic I might have considered trading my (real) puppy in for it LOL. At least I don't have to feed this one or take It outside to potty and clean up after its messes. I really do like this puppy and I hope that it comes in more color variations so that kids can pick whichever puppy they like the best instead of having only one to choose from. The kids really liked it but my real puppy was unsure what to make of it. I think it should also come with some kind of brush or comb so that kids can practice grooming the animal as well. That may give them a little something to do when the parents are tired of hearing the barking, yapping and tail wagging. All in all I do recommend this puppy for young children. I have a 2 year old, 4 year old, and 5 1/2 year old. They all love this furry puppy friend. Even the 2 year old can make the buttons work. He's tough enough to handle their play so far. He's soft. And he's a decent size although not large. However, there are two concerns. 1) He is attached to the controller by a thin plastic leash. When the kids fight over him there is a tendency for one kid to pull the controller and the other the dog. So far he has not come apart and I stop them doing this as soon as it starts. But I wonder how many times that could happen before something comes apart and he can no longer be used. 2) We curves to the right quite a bit when he walks. He does not walk in a straight line but veers to the right. This makes it inconvenient to follow after him. I don't know if this is intended, for him to make a large roughly 5 foot circle, or if ours is defective. I'd rather him go in a straight line. Other than that, he's a decent toy and the kids love him. He isn't super loud, but his bark can get annoying and is easily heard, but that's much like any other kid toy that they play with non-stop.Amy

Our dogs love these toys, we have been buying West Paw toys since we got our first dog, 14 years ago. We lost him to cancer 4 years ago, but the 2 dogs we have now still play with his toys, and ones I've bought since then. They last forever! Their favorite now are the treat ones, we even get to eat in peace! Our dogs have never liked kong toys, the only one I have left we use as a door stop😂. I've only had one get chewed apart, but you replaced it. We have it to a friend with a dog that was not as aggressive a chewed as ours. The only "soft toy" my Bowie owns now is "Richey". I must admit, he has managed to chew a small hole in "Richey", so I now only allow him to play with Richey when I can keep a close eye on him. Bowie has a terrible habit… he not only chews through his toys, he actually ingests them! Therefore, I've had to take every stuffed toy away from him over the past year (he's just 1 year old now). I keep Richey up on a shelf, and Bowie will sit there staring up at his pink buddy, Richey, and start barking at me until I let him play with Richey for a while – under my watchful eye! She doesn't play with it anymore then the other toys she have. I always try to get her to play with her toys she will for a little while. When I see certain toys I would get it for her if I think she might play with it more then other. There haven't been any yet but I will be looking for that certain I know there got to be one out there. Our first Boston Terrier we had one for her it the only one she would play with and then it got lost, couldn't find another one likes we got that at Walmart. Have a good day and take care. Tucker loves this one! I was a little worried about him shredding it, but either he loves it too much or it's really durable (probably some of both!). I like that it doesn't have any easy seams for him to tear into and the furry fur hasn't come off, even with some tugging and chomping on Tucker's part. My brother's 18 month old dog loved Lewis from the moment we showed him it. The dog is small-to-medium and we were looking for a toy that wouldn't overpower him but be weighty enough to give him a good adventure. He loves to shake Lewis and fling him and pounce and attack him.
