It is too small for my dog. I thought I order a large size, but this us the M size. This kind of dog taxi carrier is very stirdy. I had three in my house, because I love this style of crate. My dogs love them too. highly recommended! Strong and secured. Inside can put a sift mat! the dogs love it. Alas it is too small, but i already have a friend's extra large crate. Otherwise I will keep it. but my big dog us very old and need a bigger one.Jung

I got this yesterday in a pick up order. When I got home and put it together I noticed that one of the post for screws was broken. I was able to still use it instead of dragging it back to the store for a return. But I’m disappointed because you pay almost 100 for something that is already damaged. I just wish that things were inspected better before being put on shelves. There has been many times broken and expired products are still being sold and on the shelves.Jiggy8503

This crate was amazing for the first couple of weeks. Then our small mixed breed power chewer with separation anxiety was able to chew 2 large holes in the side of it. He's only spent about 40 hours total in it. I dont work, so he only spends a couple of hours at a time on the weekends in it. The rest of the time, its just his "bedroom". One of the holes he chewed is large enough foe him to stick his head through. Looks like we will be looking into the gray ones with the really small holes and military grade plastic. IF YOUR PUP IS A CHEWER AND HAS ANXIETY DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS CRATE. THEY WILL BE ABLE TO EAT EIGHT THROUGH IT. I wish we had saved the money used on this crate and put it towards the other type. Metal crates don't work either. He was able to bend the metal, push the tray out and walk out of the crate within seconds of us leaving. We've had this crate for about 3 or 4 months now. Not worth the 90 dollars.NeuroticNero

I don’t love this cover. There is nothing to hold it onto the crate so it slips about. I am going to sew some ties onto the bottom to help keep it in place. I do like the option to open different parts of the cover for different doors on the crate. The pattern is nice and also.Little cat dog

The cover was just as I expected. Light weight, durable and easy to care for. The oy recommendation I can .American is to add velcro/hook&loop fasteners to keep the top of the cover in place. This would prevent the occupant from chewing and keep the cover in place. The for is drab but it gives the crate a dark den appearance so the occupationt is calm and content. I have found over the years that animals naturally respond favorably to a darkened environment. They are more relaxed and calm. Babies in a crate with natural, artificial, even greatly reduced lighting remain alert, peering into the darkness. They often whine, whimper, or bark, but cover the crate and within minutes, they unwind and are off to sleep. For this reason, I have put dark cloth or a blanket over my crates. These covers make it so much easier, and they don't shift or hang on the floor. They look tidier and I can vacuum around the crate without catching the cover.Zuwadi

I was on frontline for years but when I thought I saw a couple fleas on my dogs in September 2020, I decided to make a switch to Advantage II for my cats and Advantix II for my dogs— BIGGEST mistake of my life (seriously, like over any horrible exes). I have $515.97 in receipts I submitted to the company (which was as horrible as the experience, which I will get to) and spent an additional $70 in store (in which I cannot find the receipt) since September 2020 to December. I followed every tip on the website and insert and my animals were still covered. I applied perfectly. I applied initially weekly, vacuum daily, steam cleaned, wash bedding constantly, etc. I don’t even have carpet but on the stairs and have treated the stairs and couches with Predcor. I even bought those flea traps with the sticky bottoms. I am not including any of this in that total I spent– that was all on the flea medications themselves for the 6 animals. I have saved some, not all, of the vials so on 11/13 I called Elanco. They denied my request for any type of refund. They questioned my exact dosage dates and frequency more than a doctor wants to know about your menstrual cycles but I took my best guesses, for all 6 animals although I did know what schedule they were on but didn't have it in front of me. Then they said that the product was probably not working because I bathed my dogs initially at the beginning 48 hours before application?? Their website TELLS you to bathe them before application (see 2nd screenshot posted)! I stopped bathing them after the 2nd application as it wasn't working and the dogs were miserable and only tried 2 cats (and really only 1 successfully because we all know how that goes). They then told me that I didn't give the product long enough?? Their website states (see 3rd screenshot) and is the same for Advantage II "K9 Advantix® II kills fleas within 12 hours. New fleas that jump on the dog from the surroundings, such as grass, carpet and pet bedding, are killed within 2 hours with protection against further infestation for at least 4 weeks." I tried their products, $600 worth on 6 animals, as scheduled, no missed doses for 4 months. I can’t blame it on just one animal or one batch—it didn’t work on 6, or one batch! I am very upset. Not only have I wasted money on these but I have bought corresponding products, sprays for the beddings, flea traps, etc. I FINALLY called Terminex and had to spend 12 hours clearing out under my beds, closets, getting everything off my floors, moving furniture etc. (time I will never get back) and getting my children and pets out of the house and went back to the brand that works: FRONTLINE! NO MORE FLEAS– what I should have done in the first place. I am so upset not by the fact that the product didn't work but by the way the company handled it, dodging any responsibility from blaming it on the baths they recommend to the length of time I gave it when they could have just refunded me and had someone that isn't going to not only post this review every place I bought it (not just here) but every other place that allows a review to include social media.Intelhottie

We bought Advantix liquid application anti-flea and tick treatment because it is effective, was less expensive and did not require a prescription. We had easily and successfully used liquid Advantix for years with our Plott hound mix. We now have a beagle. Beagle hair is different; it's thick, coarse, oily, kind of water proof and difficult to part in order to properly apply the liquid to the skin. Advantix is a very good product, but pet owners may want to assess their pet's coat to determine how the liquid application could be applied.Gary

My dog was getting ticks so I purchased this. I have used it in the past with great success when it had the Bayer logo on it . The one I received has the Elanco brand logo on it. I used 1 bottle and It was like I used nothing at all. Mind you I walk my dog and when he comes in the house I would find 2 or 3 live ticks walking on him. So I figured ok maybe it didnt work or I didnt wait long enough. After about 10 days of this I applied another bottle and again nothing. He still kept coming in the house with ticks every time. So I'm not sure exactly what's going on but the package I received appeared to be authentic. All serial numbers matched and packages were sealed well. Never had this happen before but definitely going back to Frontline Plus.kschoern

This is a good product, simple to assemble and works as advertised for our 5 pound terrier. Went for the large so there is room for a bed and a wee mat. Product is bulky to ship and came damaged and missing the connectors to hold it together. I solved the problem with cable ties until the vendor shipped me the connectors. They responded well to the issue and shipped me the missing bits. It doesn't have a lid and I didn't want one, but we do put 2 large beach towels over it at night to make it quieter and darker. I ordered this pet pen because I desperately needed something for my puppy to keep her safe while I’m busy doing things at home. I loved how it looked online. Spacious and modern & loved that it was metal bars and not plastic. BUT, once it arrived, the package was damaged. Once I opened it, I noticed all the hardware to put it together was missing. And the floor tray was cracked in a corner. I was so upset because I needed to use this ASAP! The plastic tray is very flimsy as well. Expected a lot more for the price!Ange1086

We bought this pen for our rabbit and it arrived in a box torn in multiple places and the pieces were sticking out. It also did not come with any instructions or dowel-type things to insert in the corners so it falls over with a light touch. It also has a scratch on the side and a bent rod. We can’t return it as the box arrived ruined and it is far too heavy to carry to a store. We are probably just gonna find something to fill the corners but it is saddening that this cost almost 300$. We were so excited as this had great reviews but it was very disappointing 🙁EM

We bought this for our American Bull who is not very big at 35 lbs for camping and she loves it. Ours was exactly as it looks; red with blue trim. We've used it in the house and bought a furry mat for her to sleep on. We recently bought a Staffordshire Terrier who is now 6 mos and 40 lbs so we're going to buy this in large for him, and we already bought him his own furry mat to sleep on in it. If your dogs are trained to only sleep in them they will not try to escape. These kennels are not made for all day kennel training. We use them camping and they work wonders and our spoiled, yet properly trained pooches, know they have their "own" beds! Very satisfied with this product! 🙂Sunshine1119

Here's the deal…I have a Westie that whined and fidgeted on a 5 hour car ride. Everyone was frustrated so this carrier was enough to keep him in one place during the car ride. True, he did figure out how to "nose" the zipper open. But a firm and loud "NO" stopped that and he was good for the rest of the ride. I'll use it again on road trips. This is not the answer for a permanent kennel, you'll need something sturdier, especially if you'll be leaving your pet alone. But it's great for car trips or keeping him calm when guests come over. And it stores like a DREAM, fold it down and slip it between seats or luggage with no problem.WestieBoy

We needed kennels that could be there when we need them and didn't take a lot of space when we didn't and these are the perfect answer. I'd only use them for temporary types of uses. They're probably not good for keeping them in while you're at work unless the dog is fully crate trained, and then I'd still feel better knowing they were in a wire or plastic crate so they couldn't rip their way out and get hurt or damage things. My sons chocolate labrador passed away this past summer and when I saw this I thought it would make a perfect Christmas gift for my son. I got this for a ~60lbs. labrador retriever and he seems to love it. Big enough on the inside for him to stand, turn around, and lay comfortably. It's sturdy, but not so heavy that it doesn't move around a little bit when he changes positions. It was easy enough to put together. A couple of the plastic screws didn't seem to have the ends filed off all the way (hard to describe but basically instead of a flat end, the plastic stuck out a little extra on one side instead of being flat across), which made them harder to fit straight through the holes in assembly. Fortunately, they send a few extra, so I had enough that were straight enough to put the crate together. Also, just be aware of the plastic bottom – I ran my hand across the bottom to clean it before putting it together and scraped my hand on a piece of plastic that stuck up a little (it was like a little ring manufacturing imprint). I filed it down before letting my dog in so he wouldn't get scraped on it, but just something to be on the look out for.Labbadabbadoo

The sizing recommendation by the manufacturer seems to be off. Dimensions are not the actual dimensions if you were to take a measuring tape and measure yourself. For my 55 lb border collie mix who sits at 27 inches tall and stands at 37 inches long from nose to base of tail a large would not fit. I ordered the XX Large and that is a way better fit where she can actually sit without being hunched over. This was purchased for air travel as well so I want her to be as comfortable as possible. The material seems relatively durable but it did arrive with a large crack so I will be exchanging. Compared to the Petmate Sky Kennel, this kennel seemed a little bit thinner in material and not as study. However, I order a Sky Kennel in a size Large so perhaps a sizing difference might have affected this. Also, currently, the Sky Kennel is available for a better price on Amazon but not in the size I am looking for.Zozobozo

Nicely built, easy to assemble (all holes line up for screws, about 10 with butterfly nuts).You get extra screws and rubber nuts. The cage design for opening and closing is nice and easy to use. Most of all, our dog took to it the first time. We had the S, same company. Uma is getting big now. Of course, we chose the same company and same product, just L in size. When a puppy, accidents do happen. It is easy to clean. Uma is about 20lbs now and can stand up in the kennel. Still plenty of height room. She may become 30-40lbs and this kennel will be all we need. Our use is for nighttime and when we go out. We have the gray which does not stand out. It is a neutral color and looks good in your kitchen, bedroom or where you keep your dog. The kennel also provides a rectangular cage on both sides on the top half so the dog can look out. My 30 Lb. Corgi has broken the cord and the tape after his first use. Other than that this product feels well built. Bought the 26 foot (it is not 26 ft by the way) German super leash that says max 110 pound dog. My 10 pound King Charles Cavalier saw a bird and this leash snapped near the silver handle that attaches to dog harness. Luckily near Lake no cars. In general it’s a nice leash just don’t let a dog run and pull the tape fast it will snap. Especially near busy streets with cars. This product works for my incontinent 17 year old Maltese. It really holds the urine – including first morning urine. I was previously shampooing rugs constantly, investing in lots of dog gates and still replacing carpet. I wish I found this product years ago. Value Pet Supplies offers the product at a fair price. It’s a good diaper with plenty of absorption. Tends to slide off my dog but I do not consider that a flaw in the product. Well maybe the tail hole could have been set back an inch or so, so the the diaper rode higher up on her back. What I did was just made the opening a bit larger. Otherwise it’s an excellent product and I am completely satisfied. Not sure if all there pics came through but I cut the tail hole a bit bigger which helps the diaper ride higher up on her back.Mary P.

The tape fasteners have been changed and no longer keep the diaper on my dog. When she lays down, the tape unfastens and the diaper is off of her. Bought the Adams flea & tick plus as it came two in a Pkg & we have two small dogs. There was no warning on product that small dogs could suffer side effects more so than larger dogs, I found out online when my baby (the smaller of our two at 11 #'s) started acting very strange. He couldn't be still, yet at bed time he was so tired he would try to lay down & there was involuntary twitching & muscle movement, he couldn't be still. Morning & no difference, so it occurred to us only thing new was the flea collar! Took it off & called my vet. She said long as he hadn't eaten it, he should be ok but to monitor & if he didn't improve he would need pet urgent care. I love my little boy so much! I was in tears, but as day went on he did improve some and that night he was able to sleep right up next to me with some twitching, but not nearly as bad. End of second day, he is much better but I can't imagine the damage done if we hadn't put it together & removed the collar!

After one night in the collar, my poor Chihuahua was weak in the back legs, had NO appetite, started throwing up yellow stomach acid with bits of red, stringy blood in it, and is shaking all over and miserable. I am SO glad I pay attention to everything with my service animal, and knew the collar was the only thing different!!

Beejers (a rescue Pom-Chi) is just 7 lbs and I used the expensive stuff on him the first 3 months when he came to his forever home with the 2 Bengals & I, cuz it said "WATER-PROOF". Beej is a real stinky little thing & needs bathing often. He loves his baths & will go & jump in the shower when HE thinks he needs one! Fat chance of that expensive stuff being water-proof !! Poor little guy got a TICK in his little ear & brought in a few FLEAS between monthly applications. I have had lymes & am petrified of ticks. A herd of deer (notorious for dropping fleas & ticks) cross/graze on the lawn daily. Have used Sentry Fipro on the cats for 8 yrs. with excellent results, so ordered some for him. Beejers has used Fipro 15 months now, gets 3-4 baths per month and has NEVER had fleas or ticks since using Fipro & he is an outdoors lover. Mosquitos hover but DO NOT lite even on his nose. Fipro does make a real greasy looking spot ONLY where applied & it picks up a bit of dust. This lasts 3 days MAX. Fur in that spot sticks up straight & looks a bit like a gelled Punk style! LEAVE it alone, brush AROUND it until disappears. When people notice the greasy Punk I just tell them we are trying out a new look. Never fails to get a chuckle! I purchased three 6 month supplies for my 3 dogs, all ranging in size from 14lbs-110lbs. Over the past few years, my dogs have been on several different brand flea/tick control, including the expensive brands, all of which only kept the fleas and ticks away for about 3-4 days. I received the collar and opened it to put on my cat. I immediately noticed the pleasant smell of the collar and how soft and flexible the collar was. It went on with ease and was simple to put on. The purple color was a nice contrast as well. The cat is leaving it alone and when I pick her up that light scent was very nice and not over powering. I highly recommend the color for comfort, style and I really like that the effectiveness is for 7 months. Before using the collar I had a situation were my other pet who is a dog woke up one morning and couldn't walk and was in pain. As it turned out he had contracted lymes disease from a tick. He is doing better but was on medication for a month and a very expensive hospital visit for him. My decision was to get collars that I can trust and be confident in. I received a Hartz® UltraGuard® Flea & Tick Collar for Dogs – White in exchange for a review. I loved the fact that there is enough length in the collar that it would fit multiple size dogs. I put this on my 62 pound Pittie the very first day I received it. I did have a little trouble getting the end through the buckles but luckily, my dog is very patient. I haven’t noticed any adverse effects on his skin nor scratching where the collar is. I do have some very tall grass that he likes to run and play in on a regular basis and I typically use some sort of OTC drops from the store. I have not found a single flea or tick on him since I started using the collar and definitely recommend anyone giving it a try before spending a fortune at their local veterinarian.SexyCougar

My dogs go to the groomer for their baths every 6 weeks and I was shocked when they told me my german shepherd had a few fleas on him and the groomer informed me that fleas were bad this year because my dogs have never had fleas., so in a rush, I ordered these flea collars and they seem to work but I also use a spray bottle with 1 cup of apple cider vinegar mixed with 2 cups of water and spray it on my hands then rub my dogs down before they go outside in the mornings first of day then I spray their beds a spritz of it and voila!!!! no more fleas!!!!!! I also used the Hartz flea and tick drops which also works along with everything else. I like a clean house and just can't deal with fleas !!! This kennel is strong. The tie-down holes, one per corner, go through both the top half and the bottom half of the kennel, which is an excellent improvement over no tie down holes. Another improvement over the old version is that water cannot collect on top since there are no bowl-like indentations on the top. The door is heavy construction, and can be mounted as Left or Right swing. I put the kennel on the passenger's side of the vehicle so that I can use the empty space behind the driver for carrying a jug of water, leashes, and other stuff. The advertised length is 40", but be aware that the usable length or "inside" length is 33". This is adequate if your dog is 33" or less from the top of the tail to the end of his front nails, while lying in the "sphinx" position. ONE CON: There are no drainage holes in the bottom half. I plan to drill my own (well, get the hubby to do it). A suggestion for the manufacturer: Make a Truck Version of the kennel. It would be the same as this except for two changes: (1) Add drain holes, and (2) Make the top rear panel (opposite the door) from transparent acrylic, so the driver can see through it. This would be a safety feature, as the blind spot would be reduced.Karen

Great quality. Nice and light, but strong. Dries very quickly when washed and not too bulky to carry around. Doesn't bother doggie when trailing on ground as fairly lightweight. I very securely sew 2 or 3 of these leads together to make an extra long lead to give my dog loads of freedom. They are very hard wearing and secure. Would recommend.lindak5058

For YEARS I recommended these to everyone and anyone within ear shot. We breed, raise, train poodles and Bernese mountain dogs. These dogs can be anywhere from 1000-5000 a piece however the pain my family is feeling from this completely avoidable losses no amount can fix. We have not lost just one family member but seven senselessly. It wasn’t till a vet tech advised me in line at our Petco not to buy this product that this was what was making dogs sick! Our puppies and adults all dogs all wore these and experienced vomiting, diarrhea, seizures, spontaneous abortions, chemical burns and the worst death. My family’s heart is broken, it was to the to the point that we were drowning our pets medical bills. The pets in our house receive love in frequent Caresses', Brushings, Gardens for play and Special beds for sleep. Above ALL, they receive New Seresto Collars on Valentine's day each year ! Thus, they are protected throughout the year from those nasty ticks and fleas that would love to snuggle into their fur and pester the cats and dogs all season. Stopping our capture /neuter/release program of 35 years, didn't leave us free of cats. We three ranch wives found ourselves still with cats, after the "DUMPING" ceased. And, praying we outlive them ! We were fortunate in finding homes along the way, for kittens and adult cats that were eager to have forever homes. But, unfortunately, there are always the few that pass the "cute-adopt me" stage. Raja Krishnamoorthi, Chairman of the Subcommittee on Economic and Consumer Policy, released a staff report entitled “Seresto Flea and Tick Collars: Examining Why a Product Linked to More than 2,500 Pet Deaths Remains on the Market,” which details the findings of the Subcommittee’s 16-month investigation into the safety of the Seresto flea and tick collar. The report reveals that the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) under previous administrations was aware of the dangers of the Seresto collar as early as 2015 and failed to take action to protect pets and their owners. Scientific experts, a former EPA official, and pet owners will testify about the dangers of the Seresto collar and the findings of the Subcommittee’s report at a hearing this afternoon.

“It is unacceptable that the EPA has been aware of the Seresto collar’s safety concerns for years and has continued to allow Americans to unknowingly put their pets in danger by using a product they have been led to believe is safe,” said Chairman Krishnamoorthi. “While I am pleased by the EPA’s new commitment to revisit the incident data, I urge the agency to initiate formal Notice of Intent to Cancel proceedings to determine whether the Seresto collar should be removed from the market, including a comprehensive cost-benefit review of its serious risks. Following the Subcommittee’s disturbing findings, I believe the EPA must expand its data collection standards and more strictly follow its scientific review process to ensure that dangerous products are not permitted to stay on the market and threaten the welfare of pets that so many Americans view as family.”

The Seresto flea and tick collar received EPA approval in 2012 and was introduced to the market in 2013. Since then, Bayer—the original brand owner of the collar—and Elanco—which purchased the product in 2020, have sold more than 30 million collars. Pet owners embraced the convenience of the product, which provides 8 months of flea and tick protection for dogs and cats for under $70, and which is widely sold by pet specialty stores, online pet pharmacies, and large online retailers.

The Subcommittee launched its investigation into the collars in March 2021, following the publication of an investigative report which revealed that, as of June 2020, there had been more than 75,000 incidents and approximately 1,700 pet deaths linked to the Seresto collar. Since then, the reported numbers have increased to more than 98,000 incidents and 2,500 pet deaths.

The Subcommittee reviewed emails from the EPA, as well as documents from Bayer and Elanco, that showed the EPA was aware of these incident numbers and the dangers caused by the collar yet failed to act. Documents and communications obtained by the Subcommittee reveal:

EPA Rushed Seresto’s Approval Through a Flawed Scientific Review Process: An EPA Risk Manager wrote in 2016 that the agency “rushed” the Seresto collar’s registration so that the CDC could use the collars in a study. The California Department of Pesticide Regulation found that key studies that tested the Seresto collar on adult dogs and cats were not acceptable because the studies “greatly under-estimated the exposures” to one of the collar’s active ingredients. Nice heavy duty crate. The handles make it easy to load in and out of the car. I feel safer having my dog travel in this crate vs his old Petmate crate. I like the pins on both sides of the door and the lock. My dog is very secure and comfortable when we travel.Chris

These are the worse kennels I have ever purchased. Please be advised if your dog wants out, he will get out! This kennel lasted just a few months before my dog broke out and got seriously injured fighting with another of my dogs. AVOID THESE KENNELS AT ALL COSTS!candi

I thought this would be perfect for my 4 pound Cavalier puppy, only 8 weeks old. She chewed the netting on the side with the opening, then the other side. good thing this wasn't made for a 100 pound pit bull. So disappointed. Ordered this product. For a trip next week, only to find it poorly manufactured, the seams on two of the panels were not completely stitched. Had a two inch hole and “ growing “. The packing box had the appearance of being previously opened and then put back and shipped out “Again” Will return to local store for refund. And no packing slip included?Ron434

I was on frontline for years but when I thought I saw a couple fleas on my dogs in September 2020, I decided to make a switch to Advantage II for my cats and Advantix II for my dogs— BIGGEST mistake of my life (seriously, like over any horrible exes). I have $515.97 in receipts I submitted to the company (which was as horrible as the experience, which I will get to) and spent an additional $70 in store (in which I cannot find the receipt) since September 2020 to December. I followed every tip on the website and insert and my animals were still covered. I applied perfectly. I applied initially weekly, vacuum daily, steam cleaned, wash bedding constantly, etc. I don’t even have carpet but on the stairs and have treated the stairs and couches with Predcor. I even bought those flea traps with the sticky bottoms. I am not including any of this in that total I spent– that was all on the flea medications themselves for the 6 animals. I have saved some, not all, of the vials so on 11/13 I called Elanco. They denied my request for any type of refund. They questioned my exact dosage dates and frequency more than a doctor wants to know about your menstrual cycles but I took my best guesses, for all 6 animals although I did know what schedule they were on but didn't have it in front of me. Then they said that the product was probably not working because I bathed my dogs initially at the beginning 48 hours before application?? Their website TELLS you to bathe them before application (see 2nd screenshot posted)! I stopped bathing them after the 2nd application as it wasn't working and the dogs were miserable and only tried 2 cats (and really only 1 successfully because we all know how that goes). They then told me that I didn't give the product long enough?? Their website states (see 3rd screenshot) and is the same for Advantage II "K9 Advantix® II kills fleas within 12 hours. New fleas that jump on the dog from the surroundings, such as grass, carpet and pet bedding, are killed within 2 hours with protection against further infestation for at least 4 weeks." I tried their products, $600 worth on 6 animals, as scheduled, no missed doses for 4 months. I can’t blame it on just one animal or one batch—it didn’t work on 6, or one batch! I am very upset. Not only have I wasted money on these but I have bought corresponding products, sprays for the beddings, flea traps, etc. I FINALLY called Terminex and had to spend 12 hours clearing out under my beds, closets, getting everything off my floors, moving furniture etc. (time I will never get back) and getting my children and pets out of the house and went back to the brand that works: FRONTLINE! NO MORE FLEAS– what I should have done in the first place. I am so upset not by the fact that the product didn't work but by the way the company handled it, dodging any responsibility from blaming it on the baths they recommend to the length of time I gave it when they could have just refunded me and had someone that isn't going to not only post this review every place I bought it (not just here) but every other place that allows a review to include social media.Intelhottie

We bought Advantix liquid application anti-flea and tick treatment because it is effective, was less expensive and did not require a prescription. We had easily and successfully used liquid Advantix for years with our Plott hound mix. We now have a beagle. Beagle hair is different; it's thick, coarse, oily, kind of water proof and difficult to part in order to properly apply the liquid to the skin. Advantix is a very good product, but pet owners may want to assess their pet's coat to determine how the liquid application could be applied.Gary

My dog was getting ticks so I purchased this. I have used it in the past with great success when it had the Bayer logo on it . The one I received has the Elanco brand logo on it. I used 1 bottle and It was like I used nothing at all. Mind you I walk my dog and when he comes in the house I would find 2 or 3 live ticks walking on him. So I figured ok maybe it didnt work or I didnt wait long enough. After about 10 days of this I applied another bottle and again nothing. He still kept coming in the house with ticks every time. So I'm not sure exactly what's going on but the package I received appeared to be authentic. All serial numbers matched and packages were sealed well. Never had this happen before but definitely going back to Frontline Plus.kschoern
