This was a life saver. My pug is 15 and needs help getting up and down from couch. It has 3 positions so it is not steep for an older dog to use. It is ready to use right out of the box. Looks like a nice piece of furniture. It is not to long and can be used in the smallest spaces. The carpet like material on the ramp, also has slip resistant material on it (like what is on the bottom of socks). The dogs love it and it does not bother their feet. When going down the ramp, they can go as slow as needed and not slide down. I highly recommend this product. It will not work with really high beds or trucks unless you add to it. But it is perfect for anything else including cars (if needed) It is very light and easy to move around. It is very sturdy and does not move when dogs are using it. Even my younger dog loves it and she is scared of everything. The first day we got it we used treats to get them to use it. I only took a few minutes and they loved it. We had foam stairs before this but my older dog was still having issues using it. Because of the material of the stairs, when going down, it would force her to go fast and slide. This does not do that and allows them to go as slow as possible (I know I repeated this but it truly makes a difference for an older or injured dog/cat.)Nic

The ramp has a funny chemical smell. I have been trying to get my dog to use this ramp properly for over two weeks. If I coast her and make her go up and down the ramp she will. She is an 11 pound dog and tends to slide down the ramp instead of walk. I don’t know if it’s hard for her to grip it or not or she’s doing it on purpose.She does not like to go up or down it on her own. I don’t know if I’m going to keep it yet or not. I called customer service and they told me to give it time and introduce it to her a little bit at a time. To increase the height a little at a time. My rescue dachshund (today is our three week anniversary) started using his dachramp almost immediately. He uses it 99 percent of the time. Yesterday was the first time he was too excited and jumped off of couch instead of scurrying down the ramp. Having the ramp lets him be independent as far as couch access and hopefully lessens potential damage to his spine and little deformed front legs. (Vet said he will get joint pain and arthritis yesterday.) The ramp is one successful purchase I have made for him. I recommend it. Just purchased this for my 70 pound elderly dog who has difficulty getting into and out of the car. I would have loved to keep this because of how well it was made, but it just didn't fit into the door opening of our new Equinox. Unfortunately the door didn't open wide enough. This is a nice sturdy ramp. I believe it may work well for vans but, with both of our cars (Chevy Malibu and Nissan Altima) the ramp does not have a level place to set it on. Just perfect. I have two older dogs who can now only enter and exit my station wagon via a ramp. I had a nice older ramp of thick plastic of some kind, but it was getting very heavy for me, an older person too, to deal with. The Solvit Telescoping ramp is fabulously lightweight. I actually look forward to the car outings rather than dreading it. Besides being light, the telescoping aspect is very easy to use. Some of the reviews said large dogs could not deal well with the sandpaper-like surface of the ramp (which adds makes the ramp so light to handle), but I find that towels or small rugs adhere very firmly to the sandpaper surface and give the dogs traction and confidence. The only problem I've experienced is the ramp blowing down in high wind. Now on windy days I park directly into the wind for loading and unloading of the dogs. Works fine. I highly recommend. I had been looking and researching for something for my two dogs that are 11 years in age and having trouble getting on and off our bed. I knew stairs wasn't an option so I got one of these wood bedside ramps and I absolutely love it. I like the ribbed carpet that covers it and that makes my dogs feel more secure when using it. I like how it is angled to run the length of my bed and having a tall bed isn't an issue since it has a height of 25 inches. It was very easy to assemble only took me a few minutes and all hardware for assembly was included. It is very easy to keep clean and I can easily move it into our living room during the day so my dogs can have access to the couch if needed. The weight limit is 120 lbs so I dont worry about it tipping over when my dogs are running up and down. The only thing is on wood floors, it will slide as in our living room, but we use a blanket underneath it and this sovled the problem. The instructions for assembling the ramp were easy to follow, but I would prefer less assembling. The ramp seems very sturdy, especially for my 10-pound dog. He has no problem going up, but is hesitant coming down. With some treats placed on the ramp, he walked down without hesitation. This is a well built sturdy ramp and a good value. The only thing we didn't like is the surface is still slippery even with the yellow rubber grip strips. We made it MUCH better by covering the entire ramp surface with black ultra grip shelf liner material and we simply used spray adhesive and put 2 layers of the shelf liner on the ramp for a SUPER grippy, soft walking surface for our 13 year old lab. When we first bought the ramp she freaked because she slid up and down the ramp, now she confidently walks up and down it with ease. My 110lb dog has a degenerative neurological condition that has been impacting his control of his back legs, in particular. We have to drive him to grassy spots for walks because he drags his back feet and this ramp has worked wonders in helping us get him in and out of the car. I could not be any happier to have this sofa Ramp. I have 3 little dogs. 1 is a 13 year old Toy Chihuahua and the 2 others are Shi-Chi's one which was diagnosed earlier this year with intravertable disk disease. This was a life saver. My pug is 15 and needs help getting up and down from couch. It has 3 positions so it is not steep for an older dog to use. It is ready to use right out of the box. Looks like a nice piece of furniture. It is not to long and can be used in the smallest spaces. The carpet like material on the ramp, also has slip resistant material on it (like what is on the bottom of socks). The dogs love it and it does not bother their feet. When going down the ramp, they can go as slow as needed and not slide down. I highly recommend this product. It will not work with really high beds or trucks unless you add to it. But it is perfect for anything else including cars (if needed) It is very light and easy to move around. It is very sturdy and does not move when dogs are using it. Even my younger dog loves it and she is scared of everything. The first day we got it we used treats to get them to use it. I only took a few minutes and they loved it. We had foam stairs before this but my older dog was still having issues using it. Because of the material of the stairs, when going down, it would force her to go fast and slide. This does not do that and allows them to go as slow as possible (I know I repeated this but it truly makes a difference for an older or injured dog/cat.)Nic
This item is a great product for it's price. Many others like it are easily twice as much. Has 3 adjustable height settings. Great for small dogs. If you have a puppy this is a key item. this is the shorter length ramp. Not sure who they made it for?? Goats maybe?? because the incline is insane…. 😀 really! A dog that can climb that steep incline, and easily jump! So again, VERY POOR design and unusable. I'd guess a 67-70 degree incline – so crazy!! Don't buy this!adw899

Bought this for our boy who has been diagnosed with IVDD, along with some barriers to keep him from jumping instead. Not a lot of coaxing needed; He was a little nervous at first, but it only took a few days for him to be completely comfortable with it. I'm glad I got this one as the ability to adjust the incline just one notch made all the difference. The second I lowered the incline just slightly, all of a sudden he was completely comfortable walking up it. Now he is very comfortable with the ramp. I chose this one over others because I thought the landing at the top was a great touch. Our 5 pound Morkie is 10 years old and always been a fast and high jumper. I've gradually noticed her favoring her hind legs a bit from time to time, so immediately started researching ramps for her to get onto the sofa, where she lays most of the time. Reading other dog owner's experiences and various product reviews I knew the walking surface and stability of the ramp would be crucial for success with my pup. She is very "skittish" about slick surfaces and any crinkling, banging for tapping noises. I didn't find a ramp I felt met all the key criteria and then remembered what Crusoe (follow the FB page) had been through and wondered if his parents could recommend a ramp. Sure enough, exactly what I needed with the DoggoRamp! It has a great non-slip rubber walking surface, can adjust to various heights, is excellent quality, and looks like a piece of furniture instead of some cheap thing you have to sit in your living room. My pup had NO issues whatsoever about walking on it and using it. Literally took less than 30 minutes for her to get the hang of it and use it (thanks for the training info as well)! I think this will be an important aid for her as she ages, and hopefully will keep her in fantastic health for years to come. I recently purchased a DoggoRamp bed ramp and a couch ramp. As a dachshund owner, I have ramps all over my house. I've purchased ramps from various vendors and have never been fully impressed with my prior purchases. They've all done the job, but they haven't really been pretty or particularly well made. When I received the DoggoRamps I was very impressed. They are well-made and feel very solid. My favorite feature is the small step at the top of the ramp. I notice my dogs really like it too since it eases them into the ramp. I plan on replacing all of my existing ramps with DoggoRamps – one at a time of course since they are a bit pricey.Olga S.

I am the Mom of two Shelties, Casey age 14, and Shelbie age 2. Casey is smaller than Shelbie and is arthritic. Shelbie is quite large and is a real live wire!! After nearly going blind, searching through 100’s of dog ramps, I happened across Doggo Ramps. Eureka! All of the other ramps were ok, but their construction was somewhat lightweight. Not Doggo Ramps. I ordered the Large Ramp for our high bed. It came packaged extremely well, was fully assembled and easy as pie to set up. It took a little coaxing, but Shelbie loves using the ramp! She runs up and down it and always checks with me to see if I saw her “Good Girl” performance, My little Casey, hasn’t warmed up to the ramp, so she still uses the foam stairs to get up on our bed. I recently adopted 17 pound old ShihTzu with not to great eyesight, and will be honest isn't the brightest dog in the world! Had the tallest steps up to bed I could find, but no way she would go down them. Bought this ramp because I won't be able to lift her off the bed for several weeks (surgery). It took her a week of me touching her butt for her to realize she could go up it (see previous comment about how smart she is). About a week later, she's going down it! The ramp arrived within a few days. It is VERY sturdy. Like the rails that took 2 minutes to install. And the rubber base – really hope it stands up because she now refuses to use the carpet based ramp for my sofa. Sigh… The only thing I worried about at first is the flat 'landing zone' at the top where she steps off of it is only about 6 inches wide. She doesn't care. Only cautionary note is to make sure it will fit in your bedroom. Dimensions are accurate, but is is BIG!S.C.
My dog needed to have surgery and we were looking for sturdy/well built ramps to get her on and off the couch, bed and back deck. We have bought several in this process that didn’t work and when built I wouldn’t even try to have her get on it for fear of it falling apart. Then we tried doggo ramps for couch. All put together, Sturdy, craftmanship impeccable, and safe she doesn’t slide on it. We bought another one for bedroom and same quality and love the side rail so she feels more comfortable using. I have used these ramps for years and have recommended them to other people. They are the best, light weight and the dogs love them. I have two in the living room one for each sofa, one in the bedroom and one in the den for another sofa. It’s so great for their joints, as a preventative. I have a senior dog, who in his youth, loved jumping around everywhere! He has the longest legs of any dog I have ever seen and was able to leap on and off the sofa at will. However, now that he is nearing 16 years of age, he is unable to get on and off the sofa without us lifting him up and down. The steps arrived in two pieces. It only took a moment to assemble them. After a thorough sniff, the Yorkie curled up on the first step, and fell asleep. Love this product! Shipping was fast and it came in a big box without any dents or anything. It came in two pieces. You have to put the foam on top of the first step but its a no brainer. It was super easy to put together. The foam is super soft but firm too. Our cats love it and so does my 1 year old. It holds his weight pretty good. I bought this and received it on Monday, August 9, 2021. It is easy to set up and very versatile! The stairs perform as described and convert to a ramp as described. The steps are a good size being 10 1/4" deep by 14 1/4" wide **** I am deducting one star as my 'presumption' about stairs converting to ramp was that it was built with senior dogs and cats in mind. 1) My senior cat has trouble getting her arthritic back legs up onto the the bottom step. 1a) I have it set up at the 16" height. In that position, the top of the bottom step is 8" from the ground. The other 2 steps each have a 5" rise. 1b) When set up at the 20" height, the top of the bottom step is 9" from the ground and the other 2 steps have a 6" rise. 2) The carpeting on the steps is a good quality and I thought my cat would have no trouble using the unit when in the ramp position. Surprisingly though, my cat kept slipping on the carpet when in the the ramp position (at it's lowest angle/height). I REALLY like this unit, but as you can tell, our cat has a few problems with the design. I'm not sure what can be done to make it easier for her to use, but will put on my thinking cap to see if I can figure something out.md-NOT a doctor

I could not be any happier to have this sofa Ramp. I have 3 little dogs. 1 is a 13 year old Toy Chihuahua and the 2 others are Shi-Chi's one which was diagnosed earlier this year with intravertable disk disease. So this ramp is exactly what my littles needed. It only took me a few times showing them what to do. So now my days of picking them up all day long is done. We were excited to receive this ramp because we have a corgi and try to prevent her from jumping on and off furniture as much as possible. Unfortunately, the box arrived damaged, and the ramp’s legs are wooden, so there is a 12+ inch crack down one of the sides. It’s also awkwardly long for our bedroom and living room, so would recommend measuring your space when deciding between a ramp or stairs. On the plus side, it has a nice non-slip carpet over the surface, and the bottom of the ramp has 2 non-slip grips. This is a great solution for a 20-lb. Senior dog (who recently had some knee and leg issues) to have some autonomy with getting up and down his favorite living room sofa. This was a very disappointing purchase. As soon as it arrived on my front stoop I could tell that this unit had already been purchased, poorly repackaged, and resold without anyone ever bothering to fix the poor repackaging. Initially upon unboxing the item everything looked ok. Upon further review I found a huge crack in one main sidewall of the ramp at what would be the top of the ramp if it were in a raised position. It was then that I noticed that the ramp was made of plastic. Maybe I should have seen that in the specifications before buying. My guess is that a human genius walked on the ramp and broke it. I thing the weight rating is like 90lbs but don't quote me on that. Definitely not made for a human to walk on.surneb

Pros- it is very stable and solid so there isn’t a lot of movement when my 65 lb pit mix goes up and down. It is covered with a thick AstroTurf- like material so she gets traction on the way up and down without scraping her feet like the sandpaper material that other ramps have. Cons- it is sturdy and stable, so it is also heavy. Not too heavy to carry, but it’s awkward. You need plenty of clearance behind your car when you park to make sure there is room for the ramp. I had been looking and researching for something for my two dogs that are 11 years in age and having trouble getting on and off our bed. I knew stairs wasn't an option so I got one of these wood bedside ramps and I absolutely love it. I like the ribbed carpet that covers it and that makes my dogs feel more secure when using it. I like how it is angled to run the length of my bed and having a tall bed isn't an issue since it has a height of 25 inches. It was very easy to assemble only took me a few minutes and all hardware for assembly was included. It is very easy to keep clean and I can easily move it into our living room during the day so my dogs can have access to the couch if needed. The weight limit is 120 lbs so I dont worry about it tipping over when my dogs are running up and down. The only thing is on wood floors, it will slide as in our living room, but we use a blanket underneath it and this sovled the problem. As long as it helps my dogs and gives them the ability to continue living a easy life, it is well worth it. It did not take my dog very long to learn how to use it and I am super happy, as previously I was very concerned about her trying to jump off our bed at night.
