Love the lavender color with the crate, the design and quality. I bought the treat spreads and the one I’ve tried, my dog loves it. He is conditioned now to hear when I open the freezer drawer. The only downside to giving this to him, is that it only lasts a couple of minutes (even when frozen), and it’s not quite long enough to calm him down in his crate. I have put different spreads in yogurt I have made popsicles and the product holds up. I still have a young puppy so I don’t know how this will hold up with a strong chewer. It does promote licking because that’s how your dog can reach his snack and it does calm them and it’s great that it goes in the crate but eventually when the spread or popsicle or whatever it is getting low a dog will chew because dogs are chewers. It’s not really that big of a deal you just have to supervise your pup and remove it. The really big issue with it is cleaning. I bought this a month ago and am very disappointed. When it first arrived it had a very strong, almost chemical odor. I thought that would dissipate once it was out of the package for a day or so. It has been a few weeks now and the odor is still there. I have scrubbed it with detergent, outdoor hosed rinsed it thoroughly then sun dried it twice, sprayed it with Febreze Fabric odor eliminator multiple times, and have kept it on a screened in porch both in and out of the sun for weeks. The odor persists and is so bad you can almost taste it. This is too bad because it is a nice basket for our dog's toys. I will not put her toys in it – I will unfortunately have to write it off as a bad purchase and would definitely NOT recommend it. There were no other online reviews for me to look at. Its fantastic when it actually works! I have to reset it every single time, which includes connecting via Bluetooth and then the wifi. Which seems simple enough however for some reason it takes SEVERAL tries to get it to pair. The app freezes and I have to start all over. Its a freaking headache to have to set it up every time i want to use it.Kris Willow
