We bought this product and loved it (and our dog did too) for the indestructable looking fabric, the squeaker and the tag that claimed "durable". IT GOT DEMOLISHED THE FIRST DAY. (more like first 20 minutes) I sewed it up, and gave it back to the dog thinking that "no way would he tear this up again". I WAS WRONG. The next time, (the next day) all the stuffing came out as well as the squeaker. I would not recommend this product. It was a waste of money, and almost dishonest in its claims for durabilityThunder4025

I have a prey minded Rottie- Pittie mix and so far we are 4 days into beating this toy up. I did not pay that much. Might be a different manufacturer. But so far the $8 is worth the money. She loves it almost as much as her racket balls. So we're happy with it as a tough toy.Wisteria82

Our dog loves it but has chewed the head off and has started on the body. It just came in Thursday. She has demolished it in 3 days. I thought it would hold up but am very disappointed. Our 3 month old puppy managed to chew the duck beak off exposing thin fiber strings. These would get stuck in her throat making her gag and throw up. We’ve taken it away. I don’t recommend this for strong chewers.Dog mom 333

This listing is misleading. It states "assortment" but only includes one duck of which you cannot specify color. My puppy ripped it apart in less than 5 minutes and it contained sloppy plastic foam on the inside, of which I threw in the garbage immediately. I would avoid this product!!!Detroit Dog Mom

Bought the large rabbit (tough scale 9) for our Cocker Spaniel and within two days it had split at the seams in two places. Disappointing for a £20 toy. And our Cocker Spaniel is not the size or strength of a bear, tiger or lion.K

Well gave the bunny to my 7month bully pup (received today) , it lasted 10 mins before he chewed into it has chewed into the seam and leg 🙁 not impressed as this is supposed to be a level 9. I have also purchased the starfish a level 10 will see how this fairs.Kerry

It's very TINY though – I intentionally bought this size as an additional item to hide in one of his puzzle toys and because I know he's very gentle with his plush toys and doesn't attempt to eat them. I am a toy schnauzer breeder. I always order a sample of different toys for my dogs and puppies to try out. Then I put favorites into bags of gifts that I give to my new families. When I first opened the box and looked at the small duck I just sat it back down and said that was a waist of money, glad I didn't buy 10. After I inspected the other toys and decided what I would order I tossed the ducks on the floor figuring I was going to just have to pick them back up and throw them in the trash. My fur baby is definitely a playful lil thing. She loves tug a war. I love the material. It’s very tough and thick and there is little to no stuffing and I love that so much. Ughhh the hassle of picking up stuffing and toy parts. Ewww lol. Also, my I’m not sure what it is, but my fur baby didn’t eat the squeak ball out of the top of this toy. I’m quite surprised, but the legs are still in one dull piece and the arms are short enough that they won’t rip off. I love this toy.Midwesthottie1

I got this Checkers Skinny Pig for my sisters little dog. My family and I are in competition to get her the silliest toys we can find. She has a huge basket full of them but since she opened this one she hasn't put it down. She absolutely loves it and looks so silly carrying it around in her mouth. It's perfect for shaking too. The quality is very good. It looks like she won't be able to tear it apart anytime soon which is good because that's her specialty. So I'm happy to say that I am currently in the lead in the silly toy department. This is one toy highly worthy of the basket. Hopefully it won't spend too much time there. So far so good! This long neck duck toy was perfect for my pup outside to play with, as inside she would just tear it up. Strange as that sounds, she doesn't do it outside as much. The toy was durable for her to toss and pounce on as she threw it about out in the grass. She loved the squeaking it made and we have actually looked at buying a replacement for when she does break it apart. It is durable for about a month, if given to the right pup it'll last longer. First off, my dog is an INSANE chewer. She tears through Kongs and other toys, so I wasn't super optimistic with this one. I was actually impressed. It took her a bit longer than usual to get to the squeaker, so that's a plus… but once the squeaker was attained, the rest of the toy was toast. If your dog isn't much of a chewer, the soft plush feeling will be nice for them. Otherwise, it'll probably last you a little longer than usual.jahrule619

I really wanted to love this dog toy. My Clumber spaniel was super exited to get it between her choppers and ran off with it happily. She loved the squeaker sound it made. Unfortunately, it took her about 7 minutes to rip into it and after 40 minutes we had to throw it in the trash because she was choking on the insides. If you have a dog who is more gentle with their toys, this would be a great one for you. This is another of 4 dog toys that I got. This duck is cosmetically well designed, and the variety of textures keep our dogs entertained pretty well. I will say that the thinner choice of fabric on the wings shows a little more wear (and tear!) than the rest of the duck, but one dog is a habitual chewer, and this is far from the realm of normal for toys.JustJed

For Christmas, we bought a duck (level 8) and a rabbit (level 9) for our 2 Labrador adult dogs. Within 2 weeks the unstuffed areas (ears, feet, wings) had been well chewed and after another couple of days the seams joining the toys at the back and sides had been broached revealing the stuffing. Got this for our GSD puppy, thinking she’d love to whip it around and snuggle with it. Within a couple days both arms came off and there were boots of stuffing everywhere. they were great for a few minutes, but as I knew would happen (but hoped wouldn't) my destructive corgi mix was on a mission to break the noise box. my malamute mix kept his alive fine…till the corgi mix got ahold of it…. definitely not a toy for dogs on a mission to destroy noise makers, lol. They are still cute, I'll do some surgery and replace the noise box with squeakers. It was still funny while it lasted. Quick preface: I have a 6 month old Great Dane who is teething like a beast. My pup is not your average chewer so I research products and compare prices carefully. Cow pro's: Price can not be beat. Cow's body is well made and still mostly in tact. It's head is soft and stuffed. Inside the body, the moo-er takes up about 2/3 of the toy with stuffing filling out the rest, head included. Fabric has +/- 1/4" nap, just long enough for those tiny teeth in the front to grab and pull. Eyes and nose are stitched into the fabric. Eight years ago we received a 5 year old dog from an elderly man who could no longer take care of him. Radar came with a similar toy. We never thought anything more and haven't gotten him one until now. From the moment we showed our now senior dog what was in the package when Quackers arrived, he jumped up and showed such enthusiasm and excitement like I've not seen in a couple years! Mileage may vary! I have recently purchased two of these; my Boston Terrier, who is a demon shredder of toys, instantly mangled and de-fluffed this poor duck. Unfortunately we were not at home and it belonged to my mother in laws sweet Newfoundland dog, who is quite gentle with her toys. The best part was this very adorable harness vest it has SPARKLES all over it plus sparkles in the leash. The good kind of sparkle that doesn't come off. The other great thing about buying this is it came with a high quality clear plastic garment bag. bottom of the bag has a ziplock that was a cute idea. This bag is like made out of thick plastic and in the middle of the bag it has the brand name Cha – Cha Couture, a little hole on top of the bag so the hanger can fit.
