The crate had obviously been used and returned. The metal was rusted in places and the plastic bottom tray was dirty. When I decided to return it, It was a challenge to get it back in the box. When I took it back to the store, I asked about a discount and received 15% off (the tax). I had previously bought one that was marked down by 50% because the box was damaged. I was quite disappointed in the whole experience. Apparently the merchandise was supposed to be checked if the box was damaged and that wasn’t done in this case.Janice

I've owned dogs for the last 40 years. I've used MidWest wire crates for my last 4 dogs. This iCrate didn't disappoint. It's sturdy and and easy to put up and take down. I use them when I travel with my dogs too. My dogs only use their crates for sleeping in at night or napping in during the day. During the day, their crate doors are left open. I close the dogs in at night. I don't have an issue with my dogs trying to escape from their crates, so I can't speak to whether or not this would be sturdy enough for a dog that's determined to get out of their crate. These crates are more than sturdy enough for my miniature Schnauzer, Havanese, and Wirehaired Pointing Griffon. All three of my dogs love their MidWest iCrates, as did my previous dog! They go in them voluntarily and when told to "crate up". My only concern with the current crate I ordered is that that one of the latches isn't lined up quite right so it's a bit tight when closing the crate door. I bent it slightly and it works much better. I haven't had that issue with any of the previous MidWest crates I've used. I'm a MidWest crate fan.Eddie09

We bought this in April 2022 for our Rhodesian Ridgeback mix puppy. He was weeks old when we rescued him. He was a Parvo pup and barely survived, so rest and his own quiet space was highly recommended for recovery. We first used the divider which was great. However, as he grew, so did his strength. It definitely is not strong enough for large dogs. Even for short amounts of time. At the moment he is 6 months and 60 pounds. Thankfully he did not get out nor hurt himself! We absolutely ADORE this product for our dog! She is a mixed breed whose dominant behaviours reflect her Australian Cattle Dog DNA, and when she gets fixated on something (our cat, our food, us) this Pet Correcter is the only thing we've found that can bring her out of the fixation. We tried the coins in a can, the clicker, a whistle, other devices, and this is the one to which she responds every time. We love that it's not harmful, it hasn't caused her any kind of startle or nervous behaviours upon hearing the sound, and it has enabled us to use verbal 'hisses' when we don't have it at hand to break her fixation. So I bought this today , mostly out of because my nerves are gone from a dog I have that barks at EVERYTHING. I have other dogs and if they even move to change their laying position or I get up to go into other room, she barks non stop. So when I went into the store today and talked to the team member about what I was wanting and her behaviors she suggested this product. I came home and when she started barking and I told her to stop and when she didn't I sprayed it.,it was an IMMEDIATE quiet. then she did it again and I said no, she continued to bark so I sprayed it again. and WOW she stopped. I have to say I am so happy right now, with having 4 dogs 3 of whom like to bark it is hardly ever quiet in here, someone moves or knocks on door or it is feeding time it is a mad house in here. I have a dog who had a very bad and dangerous habit of chasing cars. I tried everything to fix this including: high frequency sounds, treats and positive reinforcement, training, vibrations, physically restraining and even an e collar. Nothing worked, at least not consistently. I bought a can of this and my dog has stopped chasing cars after the FIRST spray! I dont even have to use it, just the sight of the can and he goes on his best behavior. It also has remedied excessive barking. We have 3 yorkies in the household and ordered the spider pup costume for all three. The costume is adorable (and hilarious) on them. Ball is made of a very durable and hard rubber. The one I bought is bigger than a tennis ball, but my 65lb goldador-newfie pup can hold it in her mouth easily. She enjoys playing fetch with it or catching it when it bounces high in the air. I also like that there is a rather big hole on the side that I use to throw the ball to avoid all the drool or whatever nastiness is on the ground of the dog park. Because it is hard rubber it gets a lot of bounce. I also like to fling it against a concrete wall and it just bounces all over the place. My previous dog chewed everything and successfully destroyed everything, EXCEPT the Kong Ball. He never was able to even make a mark. We have a new dog who also likes to eat everything but again has failed to damage it in any way. It has a great bounce to it and she loves it. Env: development I have two dogs that love all things ball shaped – tennis balls, soccer balls, basketballs, etc. The only problem with their ball obsession is that they destroy them. Sometimes in minutes. Tennis balls are cheap enough to replace, but they can wear on their teeth and cause damage. Other balls pose a choking or obstruction hazard because the dogs will tear them into pieces and potentially swallow them. I started to feel like I was running out of safe options to satisfy their obsession and then I discovered the Kong Ball. I picked one up for the dogs one day when I saw them at the local feed store. It was a little pricey, but I figured, if it was as durable as it claimed, it'd pay off in the long run. And it has. It's been 8 months, and while the ball shows a little wear and tear, it's still in one piece, and the dogs have great fun with it. The only con is that it's not very bouncy, and it's a little too heavy for playing fetch with, but if you roll it for them to chase that seems to satisfy them. Definitely worth the money! Being a long-haired domestic cat, my Pegasus sheds a LOT so I brush her often. Despite my best efforts, she still sometimes develops mats that are nearly impossible to get out! I've tried many different brushes over the years, including very expensive ones. I decided to try the Groomers Best Small Slicker Brush because the bristles are very fine & it was affordable. Let me tell you, I don't write reviews often, but this little brush has worked AMAZINGLY well on my Pegasus! As I said before, the small bristles make it easier to get out the mats while being gentler on her hair & skin because theres a protective coating at the tip of each bristle. Got this as a free sample. Great size for small animals. The slicker's wires are not too long and are relatively soft and gentle. My cat Buttercup even seemed to like the feel. Thomas, our rescued rat Terrier REALLY enjoyed it. He lost and leg and can't scratch so this was a welcome treat. He also now battling cancer and COPD so it something makes him happy we are happy and its much easier scratching him with the brush than with our fingers. I like the GROOMER'S BEST slicker brush for cats. The shape is better compared to the rectangular brush I have. This brush is best for a light daily grooming. I have a longhaired cat, so it wouldn't glide easily through the thicker part of her hair. During the spring and summer, she gets so many knots in her hair that I have to use a special brush that is more sturdy for removing knots and undercoat. However, although this brush is meant to glide easily through the coat, it didn't seem to remove much hair.Bunny

I've tried numerous harnesses and never loved any until this one. I have a miniature rat terrier who is 13.5 lbs. He tends to be too big for mediums and way too small for large sizes. Finally, this harness fits perfectly in Medium! There's even a little room to spare in case he gets larger. We wanted to take off pressure from his neck and the v neck design and light weight, soft mesh is great! It's by far the softest one I've ever felt, and I've tried every one at multiple stores. It's so comfortable that it could be left on all the time even in summer since it's so breathable. My dog lives it too! He seems to feel safe and calmer in it like a thunder shirt makes him feel. The first time I took him on a walk he seemed to feel "free". He was so happy to pounce around without worrying about a jerk in his neck. We give this one 5 stars!!!! I got this in black, size medium from Amazon. She has a 12" neck and a 19" chest. This harness is adjustable around both neck and chest. My pup has a high chase drive and will sometimes pull suddenly. I like that the x-shape doesn't put as much pressure on her throat when she pulls, and the double d-rings and buckle closure feel very secure for her leash. My dog learned to step into the harness on her own if we hold it up for her, too. Very good quality materials that will last a long time.lianna.b

I got small because the last harness I got at Petco last week in a medium was WAY TOOOO big. (which I am unable to return $35 gone). My 7 week old tri color bully has vomited in his third day at our house, I googled and saw it said it’s normal for pups to do this sometimes, no worries. Two days later early morning(6:50am EST) he vomited then about 10 minutes later he pooped out about 8 long worms, found they were Roundworms. I immediately went to Meijer and grabbed two boxes of this 7 Way De-Wormer for Small Dogs and gave him a tablet which he happily chomped down. He passed loads of dead worms in each stool that day(like twice). The next morning his belly wasn’t bloated anymore but he wouldn’t eat much but drank water. By the evening he was felling great and back running through the house, he passed about 3-4 live worms in 2 of his 3 stools that day, the third stool had no worms! On the third day there were no more worms in his stool but I gave him the other tablet because I saw a very good vet recommend one deworming tablet day one, a second on day three then again in two weeks. It’s day 6 and he’s been worm free for going on 3 days! I went and stocked up on puppy and Dog dewormers today because all the stores are sold out and Meijer had just set out a bunch.BattleScars&BeautyMarks

It says not to use til 12 weeks on the box, however if your pup is over 6 lbs then I think its okay to use. My little girl is a pit and catahoula mix and shes only about 7-8 weeks old and she handled the dewormer very well. She passed a HUGE tapeworm 🤢 we decided to deworm her due to tape worm segments being passed every so often which is absolutely gross. It took a little over 24 hours for her to pass everything. This is the single most effective and affordable dewormer for dogs. I will recommend this dewormer to everyone and use it for any puppies that I have in the future. Liquid dewormer from the feed store has NOTHING on this stuff and my puppy wanted to eat more of the tablet so I guess it was good. Seriously, get this for your pet you will not regret it.Sara

These worked right away for my 12 pound 1 year old dog. It took overnight to see the results. I snuck it into a chewy treat before bedtime and he didn’t notice it at all since they are super small. After receiving only 1 of the 2 pills (give second pill 2-3 months later for lasting results), he didn’t have anymore worms coming out of his poop and randomly out of his butt. He was constipated for about two weeks to a month and I don’t know if it had anything to do with the worms or the pill but he’s never had that issue before. It was a pretty quick fix by switching out his food temporarily for soft/watery food. Do not think twice about getting it for them as it is life threatening to wait too long for a vet visit. Really quick delivery and looks great, a lot smaller than I imagined I bought a medium/large and it was just a bit bigger than my hand but it was too small to play with my dog with it she kept accidentally biting my fingers! She loved carrying it round and was her favourite toy for little bit, however she promptly chewed it to pieces within 4hours which I was very disappointed with as it was more expensive than other toys and needed something she wouldnt destroy. I bought it because she cant chew through her kong extreme so its not as durable as the other kong toys as it makes out, if youre looking for a durable toy for a dog that likes to chew I wouldnt recommend it for other dogs its a good toy.cjoh8519

I was a little weary ordering this bc some of the reviews said their dog chewed though it easy, but unless their dogs are like part shark and robot—-bc my dog is a big time on purpose destroyer of all toys and big time chewer, she destroyed all her stuff within 24 hours. Next day I went and bought this and she cant even put a dent in it, this toy is pretty tough! Im very pleased with its durability! I bought this toy a few years ago in store at Petco for my 50lb hound/pit mix, she's 5 now, and this has been her favorite toy by a long shot. I actually came on here to look at buying her a second one because she loses it on occasion, usually under furniture or down along the side of my bed, but once I find it for her, she's absolutely ecstatic and will run around in circles barking with joy to have it back. I don't even have to put anything in it, she just loves it as is, though I will on occasion put the kong sweet potato stuff'n in it if she's bored enough. My 1 1/2 yr old pup gets bored and destructive. The way this bounces unpredictably really captures his attention and he loves chasing it when I throw it for him. I wanted to really love this toy. It's actually the second time I bought it…but only out of desperation because it lasted longer than all the other toys my dog has destroyed. I don't have a big dog but he's a determined chewer and can destroy ANYTHING but a Kong. He's a 1 yr old lab/maybe husky/maybe retriever/viszla mix (we think). He LOVED LOVED LOVED this toy but chewed the rope off straight out of the gate. He used that weakness to find a spot to tear in the fabric and reveal the rubber and it was over from there. To be fair if you're using this the right way (for fetch instead of it ending up as a chew toy) it will likely last much, much longer. A friend of ours got out dog just the bumper part of this combo and it has been huge it. It received serious work every day at the beach, and as you can see from my photos even had some group play with several other big dogs. Seemed reasonably durable. I have a German shepherd who loves the pool. We live in a desert, so it's a great way to keep him active in the summer. Previously, I would use the orange Chuckit! balls for pool play because they are very durable and they're his absolute favorite, but he would have to bob a lot to grasp them which left him snorting up a lot of chlorine water. I found this product and felt it would be much easier for him to snag from the water. After two hours of play it held up pretty well. But I am worried it won't last long. He loved it, and had a blast fetching it over and over but he clamps down pretty hard when grabbing it. With his large teeth and strong bite, it made a lot of popping sounds as he would swim it back to the steps and readjust his hold on it. He punctured it quite a bit, but it hasn't fallen apart yet. Some of the stitching is coming undone on the blue ends and they are very weak. It may last longer if you can sew. When he gets it out of the water he does squeeze it as if trying to squeak it, but he's good at stopping when I tell him to. It probably wouldn't last an hour if I let him chew it and he's not even one to destroy toys. There's only been a few toys that have broken from him playing and it's almost always because his teeth puncture it and the stuffing starts falling out. Once this happens our golden retriever will take it and rip it to pieces. This one he is not allowed to have without supervision and only in the pool because it definitely won't last. Our golden actually hates the water, so we don't have to worry about her tearing it up. If you have a dog with a strong bite, or one that loves to chew, I'm not confident this will hold up very well. But I still really like it and it makes a great water toy. It's bright, and floats well. It was easy for my shepherd to grab onto without losing it. He loved it and wasn't very happy I took it from him when we headed back inside. If this one falls apart too soon, I may have to find a more durable pool toy. My camera was dead, but I managed to get some pictures from my phone. I included some photos after coming back inside showing the punctures and the broken stitching on one end after 2 hours of play and limited chewing. The damage was mostly from him just grabbing it from the water as I did not let him chew it outside the water for very long. Update 5/22 – added some photos after about 6 more hours of use. It fell apart around the tag and the inside ended up slipping right out. My shepherd ended up still fetching just the inside. I'm sad that it fell apart so quickly and will have to find something that won't unravel with such a short time of play.F.N.

I really wanted to leave a better rating for this. Have been a fan of the chuck it products for a while. After reading and watching a number of reviews where many stated this products durability I decided to pick it up for my boyfriends dog. Within the first 24 hours there was damage to the point the pet store offered a refund or exchange, I opted to try another one (after all many people mentioned how well made these were, clearly I just one with some slight defects-right?)Once exchanged we got some seriously enjoyable play. The design allows for an easy pick up, it is light weight. While it is more durable than some other balls, unfortunately we had just under a month of play before it was punctured and started to lose air. *Note- We keep this toy specifically for playtime, it is not one that would be accessed and chewed on. This ball is great in terms of how easy it is to kick however it is not durable at all. After a couple of days the stitching was already coming apart and after a couple of weeks it is destroyed. Easy enough to install, but their use of nylon bolts is a downside. I understand it is so you can cut the excess away. But it probably wouldn't have cost any more (possibly a tiny bit more) to engineer the door to use metal hardware so it wouldn't strip as easily. The other issue I have is the "security" snap on door. Because it's snap on and not slid in or lockable, both my dogs have been able to push it off from the outside in. And the door is XL so it's big enough for a person to crawl through, so there is absolutely no security from a person entering standpoint. Other than that, the door works perfectly well for letting the dogs in and out independently, and keeping the heat/cool outside.Chefblue

This was dribbling enough water into my utility room during storms that I had to disassemble it to figure out where it was leaking. I couldn't find exactly where it was letting water in, so once I got it reassembled, I caulked the heck out of it and it seems to be okay for now. Taking it apart and reinstalling it was a major hassle. Most of the nylon screws either broke or wouldn't fit all the way back through, after numerous attempts. Seems to be poorly engineered. And the door where it was leaking isn't even facing in the usual direction of the wind/rain, so I don't know why it leaked so badly.TS777

This is by far the best decoy on the market. KONG never disappoints and these last longer than any other brand or type of floating toy. Our Chesapeake Bay/Labrador loves it and won't leave it inside when he goes out. He can chew it to pieces, so we throw it to give him exercise rather than leave him with it unsupervised. Moved house to Live by the sea, but my 8 year old dog couldnt swim, (she also had leg surgery which has given her arthritis) I wanted her to get some exercise in the water so brought her a life jacket and this as a last option after trial and error with balls, floats, toys etc but with no success or interest …… as shes a big wuss and a big dog this has been excellent and she is now swimming out to retrieve it and as its quite big and floats really well she can see it easily and loves going in the sea after it. I am a toy schnauzer breeder. I always order a sample of different toys for my dogs and puppies to try out. Then I put favorites into bags of gifts that I give to my new families. When I first opened the box and looked at the small duck I just sat it back down and said that was a waist of money, glad I didn't buy 10. After I inspected the other toys and decided what I would order I tossed the ducks on the floor figuring I was going to just have to pick them back up and throw them in the trash. I have a very powerful chewer who loves stuffed animals. I feel bad not giving them to her, because its her favorite thing, but I also know it is harmful to her physically if she swallows fluff, etc. I found this kong toy, with low expectations. Thinking it would only last a day or maybe two if we were lucky. I got this toy for her when she was only 9 weeks old….. She's 8 months old now and this bubba toy has minimal fraying!!! I literally can't even believe the durability!! It has lasting through puppy teeth and everyday play. Its a "stuffed" animal I feel safe allowing her to have all the time. This is the second of these that I've purchased because my pup loves them. She goes nuts for the squeaker and tends to really like soft toys. The first one (the bunny) didn't last long (as in, holes in the first 10 minutes), but she had all sharp little puppy teeth then. Now that she's got mostly adult teeth, it seems to withstand longer; it's been a week since purchase #2 (the bear) and no holes at all. At least when the first one went, we were able to pull out the squeaky ball in the middle, and that's become her favorite ball to play with too, so it felt like a 2 for 1 purchase.Shleepy

We desperately wanted these ADORABLE Wellies to work with our pup's paws, but we found the molded material a bit difficult to get a good fit in the 'toe box' compared to Canada Pooch's more pliable Secure Sock Boots (of which we bought two pairs in the end). Definitely worth trying the Wellies on your dog first though, as the single-piece construction makes them a completely waterproof fashion statement that will keep even the worst mud and grit at bay! These just didn’t fit my bully mix feet at all, he’s 50 pounds. I tried two sizes and the width of the booth even at 5xl was not suitable. The 5xl I was able to get his paw in but then length of the boot was too big which caused him to trip up. If your dog has a wide, short paw avoid these boots. I also noticed the boot material was sticky, so sand and road dust did stick to them. The build quality was nice though.Maggie M.

I ordered these orginally for my 82lbs bernedoodle 11 month old pup. Living in upstate NY, both him and my 45ish lbs medium sized Labradoodle wear boots regularly. I typically buy from my local pet store… although, I find they are thin and cheaply made. The velcro almost always breaks off and they are thin material. So I decided to try the Canada Pooch unlined wellies. I measured my Bernedoodles paws exactly as recommended as he typically wears size XL in pet store brand. (And based off size chart for Canada pooch I knew it would be far too small) Based off Canada Pooch size rec and measurements that i did do, he should be 4xl. Decided to order 5Xl just to be safe and that I'd rather have them too big than too small. Immediately upon opening I triple checked the size on the box. Just because they looked soooo small. 5XL. Just to find, they wouldn't even go over his paws. I am sooooo sad. They are AMAZING quality. The velcro is thick and sturdy, the material itself is so nice just for some unlined wellies! They fit my labradoodle perfect so I will keep them for her. I wish they made a bigger size so I could buy them for my Bernedoodle… just buyer beware they run very small!Marissa P.

These disposables were a life saver as we struggled to find washable bottoms that fit our Yorkie/Schnauzer mix, Its been challenging to find a vet to spay her during Covid so we were not prepared for the blood stains everywhere she sat her bottom. These wont disappoint. Fit true to size.Lady

Very disappointed in these. The primary problem is the closure, but is not the only issue. My sweet girl is free of them in a minute after I put them on her. The plastic-like outer layer had to be uncomfortable. I will be purchasing something different going forward.Theresa

There was only ONE tab, not two. I had to tape my diaper in order for it to stay on my dog. These diapers are the WORST diapers I’ve ever seen. The instructions and all the pictures say there’s two tabs. I had to get long pieces of clear tape and tape the side that didn’t have the tab and the side with the existing tab to make sure it wouldn’t come off. I tried to put the first one back on my dog and there were holes in it when I took it off once because I had to tape it. I’ve never seen such poor quality things. I could’ve made a diaper and it would still be better than these diapers and I’m not the crafty type. If there was a zero star option I would put that. These are absolutely horrible.Human
