One of my dog absolutely loves this stuff. He knows when it's time for his teeth brushing and sits their and licks all of the paste through the cracks in his teeth while I brush. I purchased this tube from Chewy.com for my Sheltie. I've been brushing his teeth since he came home as a baby, and he also gets Plaqueoff in his food. The breed is notorious for dental issues, so I'm hoping to keep things at bay by being proactive with his dental health. Petsmile interested me because I saw that this was the only toothpaste with the VOHC seal–so I opted to try it. He doesn't seem to be in love with the flavor, which I took a shot on, but it's not bothering his gums or his stomach. He has some tooth staining, which this paste hasn't really removed, but I have noticed some small bits of plaque on his smaller bottom teeth is now gone, by about half. I brush his teeth every night, so other than adding this paste into our routine, I'm inclined to think that's what finally dissolved that tartar. Yay! I wish Petsmile offered every flavor in a smaller tube, though, because even though this was pricey, it was still cheaper than the $25 standard tube. I also am keeping my fingers crossed for a vanilla or mint flavor will become available, because my boy loves vanilla so much. I currently use a USDA organic dog toothpaste, which is cinnamon flavored, but it doesn't have the VOHC seal, nor the enzyme technology. However, he loves that flavor! I actually brush with the cinnamon flavored paste, then apply the Petsmile as a finisher, because it'll sit in his mouth all night and I do like the fact that brushing with this isn't necessary. We got this on Amazon for my two schnauzers and I brush their teeth with this every night. The toothbrush provided is meant for medium size dogs and for the back teeth. I use my finger and a little toothpaste for the front teeth as it’s harder to use the brush there. Have you brushed your dog's teeth lately? My review is on Vet's Best, Dental Gel Toothpaste. I know and understand just how important my dog's dental care really is. I haven't done such a good job on brushing their teeth. The starting point is to find a quality toothpaste for my dogs. After using, "Vet's Best" Nature's Health Care, Dental Gel Toothpaste, I think it is indeed, a quality toothpaste. The toothpaste's ingredients were formulated by a Veterinarian using a combination of natural ingredients. Those ingredients include Neem oil, baking soda, grapefruit seed extract, aloe and enzymes. My older dog hasn't had her teeth brushed in a good while. This will be the first time for my younger dog. You do not need a lot and do not really need to brush hard at all. The main idea for this enzyme toothpaste is to deposit some on their teeth and gums daily. It eats up at the bacteria. I do brush lighty all over, way in the back and inside. I use a very small amount and I saw the difference routing a week of using this daily. It helps a lot. It will not remove big hard build ups but overtime it seems to soften them which makes easier to dislike with dental scrapers.iHerb Customer

One of my dog absolutely loves this stuff. He knows when it's time for his teeth brushing and sits their and licks all of the paste through the cracks in his teeth while I brush. My other dog is still getting used to his face being touched, but he has been enjoying the taste of the paste. I have noticed less plaque and buildup on my dog's teeth since we started using it. Bought first tube awhile back and was trying to find the same brand. This is only place I could find it. It is smaller tube now, but that's fine since I don't want it to expire. I set up auto shipment so I can keep getting more of it on regular basis. Shipping was free. I have used this for several years and my dog's teeth and gums look great. My dog was abandoned and neglected but you would't know it looking at him now. He gets excited to brush his teeth at night. He loves the flavor and enjoys licking the toothbrush. I put small dab on outside of top two back molars and go from outside to inside trying to get that big groove then another dab for front canines.
