Our elderly mini Schnauzer has become more anxious as she's aged. She reacts to smart phone alerts, loud people, quick movements, etc. Over the past 5 years, I've tried several CBD products and a prescribed medication from the vet. None of the CBD products had a noticeable effect and the vet medication made her act like a drunk who was angry at finding herself drunk. We rescued our third Dobie and she’s very anxious. We’re trying not to put her on prescription medications, if possible, so we decided by recommendation from other club members to try this first. My dog simba was rescued from the streets of Puerto Rico. Then he lived in a rescue for a while. New stimulus can make him super anxious. The excitement stopped there. First off, my dog didn't want to eat the treats as a treat. He refused to eat it alone. I had to hide it in his food. After eating it he became super lethargic with no other symptoms that I had noticed at the time. So thinking the treat was working too well, the next day I halved the recommended dosing for his weight. Later that day I noticed hives and a large nasty rash that spans over his entire back. My baby has never had issues with allergic reactions but something in this product triggered it. This was the only new addition to his routine and environment. It's been a few days since the discontinuation of the product in conjunction with antihistamines and antibiotics and his skin hasn't fully recovered nor his energy. He's better but not fully back to normal. Thankfully he's fine but I obviously won't be continuing use of the treats.Sarah

I love the product – your packaging – AGAIN – is HORRIBLE. I ordered two of these and one arrived opened and about ten left in the the bottom of the container. The other container was in tack! So one container completely distroyed. Other items in the box were broken open: The box of Cat Food – 30 box count. Totally broken apart and all the cans were all about the box. And many dented! The shipping box itself had obviously been broken and arrived in super bad condition and a lot extra tape. The box was a mess and was part of the delay in its delivery! I have complained about your packaging practices many times before…. Seldom with any evidence that some one cares. Boxes still come beat up, destroyed, contents thrown about and dented. I am so thrilled with the results of this product. I contacted the manufacturer, who confirmed that the formula is the same as their cat joint relief product; the dosage and texture is just different between the two. So I buy this for my 2 cats and 1 dog to avoid having to buy two different products that are essentially the same thing. I crumble 1 treat into my senior cats' wet food each day and give 2 daily to my young dog for preventative purposes. Before starting on these, both of my cats had showed some natural decline in mobility, and one of them had torn his ACL tear when attempting a high jump. After just a few days of these treats, both cats showed greater mobility, and the one with the ACL injury was jumping again after a little over a week. After several weeks, he's moving like the young, athletic cat he used to be. Most importantly, nobody seems to be in any discomfort anymore. … I will just say, though, that this new advanced formula with collagen is much stiffer/denser than the regular formula without collagen, so crumbling the treats can be a little bit of a pain. This is my first puppy/dog ever. I have a 7wk old Aussie/Lab mix who gets terrible separation anxiety when left alone (in a room or in a crate). My dog has terrible anxiety and when it storms, she shakes and pants heavily and just paces everywhere. These have an extremely small amount of melatonin in them, which at first worked okay, but after a month it's not cutting it. A 10lb dog can have 1 MG of melatonin and be fine, which is almost 10x the amount found in one of these treats. Don't buy these if you're looking for nighttime calming for elderly dementia dogs who are restless at night, they won't work. My little senior dog has night time anxiety and no matter what we did were unable to get her to calm down let alone get her to sleep. Me and my husband went out of town for the weekend and decided to bring out year and a half old corgi/aussie mix with us. She is FULL of energy and since the pandemic hasn't loved one of us leaving a space and if both of us leave has a full on fit once the door is closed. We bought these hoping they'd help keep her calm as we were staying in a hotel and didn't want any complaints. First time we gave them to her was after a beach day. She was playing in the water for about two hours, came back and I put the treats in her dinner, gave her a bath, and then put her in her cage with her Kong. No crying when we left, good first sign. Normally when we come back in from somewhere if she was asleep she'll wake up, not this time! We came in and she was as comfortable as could be on her back asleep! Newly adopted very stressed pup. I purchased three Thunder items, one of which was a bottle of the Calming Chews. Tried the Chews several times over the course of a week and a half in different situations. Sorry but found each time that there was no change in my dog's reactivity level – and on one occasion the Chew seemed to make him more stressed. I titled this one thanks you because they definitely help my dog. Our dog is only 8 months old, and these calming chews helped her a great deal this week. We got an extremely bad storm a few days back and the wind was blowing and bending trees over and trees were getting ripped out of the ground. It rained so hard that we couldn't see out the window and our power when out 5 minutes after the storm went through. Our dog was going crazy and was shaking like a leaf. We followed the directions and gave her the chews and it seemed to relax her a good bit. They're not like tranquilizers, but they help to calm the dog. She's a dog that doesn't like change and we had 4 days of no power and my wife, and I slept downstairs in recliners and our dog was totally confused. and wouldn't lay down and wanted us to go upstairs to bed. We had to give her these chews to get her to stay calm until the power came back on 4 days later. She loves eating them and they even smell great. I had tried different treats and "calming" chews for my dogs, some worked wonderfully, some don't. Some chews my dogs will not even eat or put in their mouths. The VETIQ calming hickory smoke soft chews is one that my dogs approve. I have a 150lb saint bernard, he is very calm and sweet most times; loud noises can really cause him some anxiety sometimes, but as long as I am near, he is fine. However, one of my smaller 25lb furbabies, doesn't handle anxiety very well. And once he starts "crying" and barking, my two other dogs will join him – they sound like someone stepped on them or something. So once and a while, I give them chews, treats, and toys to keep them busy. These chews help with the anxiety of the smaller furbabies. Back in October we adopted a 4-month-old rescue puppy (Lab mix) who, while sweet as sugar, had/has a medical issue that prevented us from enrolling her in “Puppy Kindergarten” as we’d planned. First of all I want to say schnauzers are schnauzers. They are barkers. My pup Jarvis is a loud one and “talks” a lot. I have tried many ways to help him stay calm and bark more quietly. He is anxious about every person and dog outside of the house. He does not only bark to protect himself but also cries and whimpers. I got this supplement around 2 weeks ago. And here is my review: Best/funny part: – The treat itself he loves it. It is his daily treat. He eats it in 1 second barely even chew it – When I first opened the container, I kid you not I thought it smelled like chocolate. The smell is pungent to my sister. But I could smell the “bacon” after a few days The work in progress part: – After using it daily for almost two weeks, I don’t really see a difference. I initially learned about NutriCalm by Rx Vitamins for dogs when I read a review from a local greyhound rescue organization who said they used it with great success. Certainly did the trick for my little dog. Usually whines , throws up etc. even a short distance ride in car. Our dog is TERRIFIED of thunder, fireworks etc. She pants, shivers and drools when it happens.. We give her LICKS an hour before a storm starts and she is relatively calm, a few times she went to sleep during the storm. Fireworks is similar if you know when a fireworks display will be, give it an hour before. It seems to last about 5 hours for her, she gets 2 packs of the liquid (40 lbs). I have siberian huskies four of them. they are very hyper and like to do what they want instead of what you tell them. well I have one who is needy and who gets anxious if we leave the house. I tried this product on her and did not see any difference in her. Our elderly mini Schnauzer has become more anxious as she's aged. She reacts to smart phone alerts, loud people, quick movements, etc. Over the past 5 years, I've tried several CBD products and a prescribed medication from the vet. None of the CBD products had a noticeable effect and the vet medication made her act like a drunk who was angry at finding herself drunk. Then . . . a month before July 4, I see an ad for VetriScience. My first thought was "why bother", but the price wasn't overly high so I bought a bag. We rescued our third Dobie and she’s very anxious. We’re trying not to put her on prescription medications, if possible, so we decided by recommendation from other club members to try this first. I’ve definitely noticed it works to an extent a period of time. It’s progress, so I’m happy. I just want to make sure that she’s happy and not too anxious whenever it thunders or we have to leave her alone, but that is rare. I would recommend trying this for your dogs if they’re having these issues too. It’s easily available, but I ordered it on Amazon so I received it quickly and got points for my purchase. My dog simba was rescued from the streets of Puerto Rico. Then he lived in a rescue for a while. New stimulus can make him super anxious. The excitement stopped there. First off, my dog didn't want to eat the treats as a treat. He refused to eat it alone. I had to hide it in his food. After eating it he became super lethargic with no other symptoms that I had noticed at the time. So thinking the treat was working too well, the next day I halved the recommended dosing for his weight. Later that day I noticed hives and a large nasty rash that spans over his entire back. My baby has never had issues with allergic reactions but something in this product triggered it. This was the only new addition to his routine and environment. It's been a few days since the discontinuation of the product in conjunction with antihistamines and antibiotics and his skin hasn't fully recovered nor his energy. He's better but not fully back to normal. Thankfully he's fine but I obviously won't be continuing use of the treats.Sarah

We have tried everything under the sun for our pup during the 4th of July celebrations. She’s terrified of loud noises and thunder- even the wind scares her sometimes. This did not make her completely normal but it kept her from hiding the entire night and once the fireworks stopped she was back to her normal self within minutes.
