My mom's dog is 17 years old, blind and incontinent. All of the reviews that state this thing works are true. My teenagers were in charge of keeping the litterbox clean because we have two cats. They do an excellent job of keeping up with it in general. They did, however, become a touch sluggish over the break. The smell was so awful that I was practically retching by the time I smelled it from down the hall and told them to clean it. The damage had been done, even with the clean litter, and all I could smell was cat urine. So I came on here and read all the 5-star ratings and decided that even if it only functioned half as well as the reviews said, it would be a success. So when it arrived, I just opened the bottle and poured about a third of the liquid over our laminate floor and sprayed it on the walls surrounding the litterbox. I set it aside for an hour. However, even standing outside the room, we instantly saw a difference. I also brought the litterbox outside and sprayed it with this stuff, but I didn't let it sit, instead wiping it down with baby wipes. After an hour, I washed everything out, replaced the clean litterbox in the room, and went outside to clear my nose to see if I could smell cat urine. I couldn't smell it. My children couldn't either. I invited my MOTHER (who despises cats and is a stickler for cleanliness) over for the grand verdict, and asked her to smell not only the house, but the room as well. She was taken aback by the fact that she couldn't smell anything, and she actually stated it smelled GOOD! It does have a light herbal aroma to it that isn't bad. I've been wanting to buy this, but wasn't sure it would really work. Plus, I have another enzyme cleaner that I absolutely love. However, the other cleaner doesn't 100% remove pet messes (greatly reduces the stains but completely remove). Now I definitely did not use this product as originally intended. I don't have a Hoover wet vacuum or carpet cleaning vacuum of any kind. I simply diluted to the strength recommended on the bottle of 3oz of cleaner per one gallon of water in a sprayer, pre-treated the area and let it set for about 10 minutes. Came back with a stiff brush and worked the cleaner into several spots that had been pretreated and blotted it up with a cotton towel. OMG I could not believe it. One year old stains that have had nearly every carpet cleaning product applied to it over the year came up with ease. I was truly amazed. We have 2 indoor cats that from time spit up hairballs, etc. that leaves stains from time to time. From using this product, I can say that is does work to remove dirt and stains from carpets. I did not have parts of the carpet that particular smells bad (from urine or anything) to say for sure that us removes all the smell, but overall the product smelled very good and left the carpet smelling good afterwards. I wanted to make sure I gave it a chance before I wrote my review. My cat peed on my bed and it got thru my blanket, sheet, mattress topper and it got on my mattress. I washed everything else a few times and that took care of the smell on all of that but I couldn’t get the pee away from my mattress. Well, it works! Usually I use natures miracle but it wasn’t actually cleaning my carpet that well and the smell was just insane after a while. Because I have allergys i was very careful to buy the upholstery cleaner that didnt have febreeze in it. I bought a shampooer and a pet oder product and shampood my couch and love seat. I cant sit in my living room at all. I have constricted breathing,am coughing and need a puffer. After my couches were dry i then tried dusting with baking soda to remove the odor. That didnt work. Then i tried misting with white vinegar. Twice misted with vinegar it took a small margin of smell away. I have even tried putting just the cushions outside to air out. Still smell. I cant even sit in the room long enough to drink a coffee. There doesnt seem to be a way to smell a product before buying. Iif we are starting to ban car hanging deodorizers and plug ins, why dont manufacturors at least let their be warnings on products for fragrances. This is a terrible product for people with asmtha and allergies. I havent needed a puffer for over ten years until i bought this shampoo.
This formula surprised us. Too often formulas scent afterwards are either too strong or has a chemical smell that lingers until the carpet is completely dry. The Pet Pro Oxy Urine with Febreze does not exhibit any of the strong scent; just a nice refreshing smell. When used with the Big Green the Pet Pro Oxy removed old and new protein stains. My carpets look great, clean and bright. The Urine formula is ok, probably better off with the Enzyme or Bacteria one to completely remove.

I wish I could give this product 10 stars. It is an absolute miracle worker. This is the dog formula, and it comes in a variety of scents, but the scent doesn't matter. This will take a giant dog urine stain out of white fabric right in front of your eyes. If you get a black light and find the spots around your house, you can use this and see that it takes everything away. There is also a different formula for cats since their urine is different. I've had pets my entire live and always battled the problem with spraying, marking, and/or poor potty habits, and these products have completely changed my life.frances.m
I bought this because my dog peed on the bath rug twice when I was away from home too long. After using the spray, she began to use the rug a little more often. I moved and threw out the old rug without thinking too much about it. After a couple times of being gone too long, she peed in a couple spots around the new house so I tried the spray again. Now she pees in the house 1-3 times per week, where I've sprayed. So, at the very least, the spray doesn't work. Bought a house and while having new floors installed they found a lot of spots where dogs had lifted their leg peed all over the walls! Gross! The floor installers acted as if that's a normal thing. I've never had a dog hike their leg inside my house and pee! Anyways, I had to quickly research what was best and then what was available close by. Nature's miracle was within the top five. During the initial spraying time it smelled great. It was the original scent. I soaked all of the areas and then let it dry overnight. I then soaked the areas more in the morning because the smell came back. Eventually within approximately 36 hours the smell was gone by only approx 60%. The solution was to put in the floor and seal the smell in. Luckily that worked but not truly a fix. If I had more time I probably would have gone to another store further away and chosen a different product but due to the installers having a short time frame I could not. I would not recommend on deep set in stains odors.

I have 2 dogs and have used furry freshness on dog urine, vomit, and poop stains on our rug and bed and love how it works to remove odor and leave behind no frangrance or odors. I’m so happy to have found a product that removes odors and stains so well. Just spray to saturate and let it dry. I do feel the need to keep pets away from product while it’s drying but that’s a small inconvenience compared to the results I’ve gotten.

I have used this stuff for decades. Until now. It used to have a very light citrus scent. But this latest bottle has a overwhelmingly powerful old-lady floral fragrance. I had to wash the floor two more times, with baking soda and plain water, open the door and turn on the fan, despite a big storm outside, just to lessen the smell of the product. I wanted to make sure I gave it a chance before I wrote my review. My cat peed on my bed and it got thru my blanket, sheet, mattress topper and it got on my mattress. I washed everything else a few times and that took care of the smell on all of that but I couldn’t get the pee away from my mattress. It smelled at night and I couldn’t fall asleep and I tried every pet stain remover we had in our house. So I decided no harm in trying this… I used it for two days. Sprayed really close to the mattress and let it soak. Then I took a damp rag and scrubbed and did that about twice. The second day I just sprayed it and then an hour later I blow dried it to help it dry faster. It worked! I can’t smell the pee anymore (thank god) and I can finally sleep! Well, it works! Usually I use natures miracle but it wasn’t actually cleaning my carpet that well and the smell was just insane after a while. A couple of minutes after scrubbing this into my carpet in some spots where my dog had marked hard, I didn’t think it was going to work and I could still smell the urine but after an hour of letting it air out, the stains were gone except one bad one (I’d expect that and will just try using this again in that spot more thoroughly as it was lightened back up by 50%) and the smell was gone and everything smelled good again. I used this on some clothing my cat peed on, expecting that I could just let it do its thing and then be able to wash the scent out. Nope. Here's how the process went after letting the product dry in my clothes: wash, wash, wash, left outside to air out/dry for a week or so, soak in vinegar for two hours, wash, left in a bag containing an entire box-worth of baking soda for another week, wash, left outside to air out again…and they still smell overwhelmingly like chemicals. I don't know what the manufacturer uses to bind the scent to materials, but at this point I'm convinced I could have just gotten the cat pee out within the first three washes. Used the foam vs liquid on 3 area rugs. I let all products sit and dry (for elimination). The liquid rugs still stink like cat pee. The foam rug smells fresh and odorless. I also used the foam on the carpet nearest the walls (where mop water from cleaning the "cat's bathroom" soaked under boards) and on the otherside of the wall, where the pee was cleaned up and mopped. This stuff works! I had a stain from dog urine on my very hard to clean rug. I used many other cleaners and even the bissel portable machine with zero luck. They just made it worse! All I did with this product was spray it on, scrub it a bit with a toothbrush, then let it dry with a fan and poof! the stain disappeared. Our dog was diagnosed with IVDD and had spinal surgery last fall. With that came incontinence and he has several accidents throughout the day. If you're looking for a product that is great at lifting urine stains as well as the odor, I definitely recommend Nature's Miracle Urine Destroyer Plus. We recently got our first dog and potty training has been more than a bit of struggle. I love this product!!!! It totally gets out stains and pet urine smells…even smells that are old and have had other cleaners used on it. This is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED by me. The after smell is so fresh as well. What I did was… 1. vacuum carpet thoroughly 2. saturate area needing cleaned and let sit for 30mins 3. using steam cleaner, suck out all of the cleaner 4. using steam cleaner, go over the area with hot hot hot water, let sit for 10mins and then suck up. do this 3 times. let air dry You won't he disappointed!!!Shannon

I've used this a few times now. It has a pleasant smell and worked ok on getting stains out. I have 2 small dogs that think that our couch is their dog bed so it can get a little stinky. I used this on the couch and it worked pretty good on getting out the smell. My only complaint is it didn't have a good even spray to cover the area. It was more like a solid stream coming out. That would be fine for spot cleaning but not removing odor from a large area.Kelly76
I bought this because I have two dogs and we all know they will puke and poo on carpeting when they don't feel well! I cleaned up the mess first, sprayed this product and let it sit for a few minutes. It foamed up nicely, and then when I scrubbed the stain it seemed to come up for the most part on the first try. I have a male Pug that has been very difficult to housebreak. He chose the back of my recliner to “mark” himself several times so I got this Nature’s Miracle Stain and Odor remover to try to clean it up and remove the odor. This stuff worked great! It’s a foam cleaner and very easy to use. Spot test an area prior to using to make sure it doesn’t affect the color. You shake the can, hold it upside down and apply the foam to the treatment area, making sure to cover it completely with the foam. Wait 10-15 minutes and then blot the foam up with a clean cloth. Let the area dry for 24 hours. For odor removal, wipe up the stain, apply the foam to saturate the area but don’t blot it up. Leave it on for 24 hours and the odor will fade. This advanced stain remover worked so well on the stain and urine odor. I wish I had found it sooner! I highly recommend this Natures Miracle Stain and Odor remover!Pdvdb70

I'd been fostering dogs (read: constantly potty training rescues) for eighteen months in my carpeted apartment and making due with a combo of baking soda, vinegar, and Nature's Miracle when I took in my last foster. She was totally sweet and totally magical–if your idea of magic is the Houdini brand of escaping every single type of dog kennel. In her episodes of separation anxiety, she would have accidents almost everywhere and then track the mess everywhere else. My former tools were not keeping up, and–try as I might–I couldn't seem to ever get all of the spots or get rid of the smell.Enter Angry Orange and the blacklight tool. I used it once, and my carpeted apartment had never smelled better. I was once again confident that I was helping pruppets without screwing over my landlady.The accidents, unfortunately, continued. Never fear, I thought, because I have Angry Orange! However, when I went to use the product a second time, the spray bottle no longer worked. Thinking I had just worn it out with too vigorous use, I transferred the miracle substance to another bottle. Voilá! Once again, my apartment smelled like oranges instead of–you know.Again, though, the next time I tried to use my Angry Orange, the spray bottle no longer worked. I went through this process several times and eventually accepted that I would just have to purchase a new spray bottle for every use. ***Update***I have been using this since bringing a (very stubborn) puppy home. Not just for her but also the not so happy cats. I love how it smells and love even more that it works wonderfully on breaking down the urine. I am usually skeptical of these types of products but this really gets the job done! On top of a great product for a not so great problem, the customer service is AMAZING! I had no real issue but when they reached out to see how the product was working, I told them that I had a faulty spray bottle. They sent a new sprayer on the same day. I will be back for more for sure!I love the way the stuff smells it's smells so much better than other products! I got this specifically because my cat, that gets motion sick, projectile vomited in my vehicle. I used another product that I had (even though it was expired) and I could not get the horrid smell out. This arrived and I immediately set it to work. It's marketed as "Fresh Scent" … not sure who thinks that smells anything like FRESH. I'm not sure which scent was worse… this product or the cat vomit. I continued with it hoping one of the smells would dissipate. No such luck. I even used the Angry Orange stuff… can't eliminate / cover either up at this point, I think. (I've cleaned it 4 times… may have to get it professionally detailed!) I have used it on a much, much smaller area of carpet in my house. It worked okay and the smell wasn't as penetrating, but I think I'll go back to something that works as well and actually eliminates — or even covers up (at this pount!) — the odor rather than contributing to it.
