I've used a Swiffer for many years as a replacement for my mop and I'll say that at first I thought this would be a great strategy so I wouldn't have to deal with the hassle of traditional mopping. It has worked ok for me, but if you use the wet wipes with this don't expect it to be easy or super effective. Often after using this thing with a wet wipe to clean the floors I feel like I have done a HIIT/Cardio training class. You have to push down extremely hard against the floor in order for the wipes to pick up anything. It requires intense effort. You will be sweating after cleaning one room with this thing. Also, using the wet wipes is sort of like cleaning with a wet broom. The wipes don't pick up all the dirt, you'll still need to actively track and sweep the dirt into a pile so you can pick it up once you take off the wipe. That's another thing – the wet wipes, while they do come very wet in the box, if you use them with this Swiffer they will constantly fall off as you clean the floor. It's pretty annoying to clean the floor with a wet wipe only to have it constantly fall off and need to be reattached. Like I said, use it for a quick clean but probably should get something more reliable as your primary wet cleaning product.Alex

I've been using this Clorox Dual Action Dust Mop all over my house. It's great for both my tile and my laminate floors. The solid blue side works great for cleaning the dust, dirt, and cat hair off of my floors. The striped side works great for giving my floor a deep cleaning/mopping. This cloth isn't going to sweep up mounds and mounds of hair but for the bathroom or kitchen floor touch ups in between a good vacuuming or sweep I'd recommend. I've wanted an old fashioned dustmop like this for years. Local searches found none available, or not found online or just not what can am looking for…. until I came to Lehmans. I knew about cotton dustmops, but never lamb's wool. It works great dusting hardwood floors, walls ceiling corners, cobwebs and steps. It takes only minutes to complete these tasks. I am very thrilled to be using these mops. You can maneuver them very easily. They are great to sweep you can clean big areas in no time. The mop has been very easy to wash. I just throw it in the washer and dryer and still looks like new. I have been using the 48'' mop but would like to use a smaller size for smaller areas of the house. It has been very easy to use. I got this couple weeks ago and this is exactly what i was looking for so long. I have a 3000 sqft house with tiles is really hard to vacuum or mop this big of an area. It use too take a lot of time and energy to mop. But with this is done in 15 mins. The threads on the mop head are big thick and it traps the dust and other bigger particles. The maneuverability is little harder because of the handle construction and the place where it connects the mop head. I wish it was easier to turn it as if lifted the dust gets on the floor and is no longer trapped in the mop head. But all in all great product. Highly recommended. many cats and a small white dog going in and out of our house was creating a dust/hair crisis. i bought a new, more powerful vacuum, but didn't want to vacuum daily, which is what seemed needed. i use the Baby Wooly daily, until the next vacuuming. the next time a vacuumed the canister contained about one quarter of what i was normally vacuuming up! i'll never ENJOY vacuuming, and i'm always hurrying to finish so i can stop the noise, even though my vac is a good one and not too noisy. the Baby Wooly is SOUNDLESS, and i find myself slowing down as i use it, rather than rushing to get done. i bring my stand alone dustpan and broom with me, and pick up any particles that the Wooly doesn't pick up (cat litter, bark and wood particles from the wood stove.) the handle swivels completely, allowing me to get to places (alongside the fridge and the wall, under cabinets that i previously had to move to clean under, all under and around the clawfoot tub.) then it's just going outside and finding which way the wind is blowing, then shaking the Wooly, leaving the dust and hair outside. it is far better than i ever dreamed, and it has given me the clean house i wanted. oh, yes. it is also beautiful with its variegated yarns, and it's natural wool, not a synthetic. it's a joy!4no*y*z

I could not understand how this floor cleaner received such high reviews. Then I noticed that many, many of the five star reviews indicate the reviewer purchased the cleaner “as part of a promotion.“ This cleaner is terrible and is being returned immediately. On the hard floor function, it was dispensing freshly no solution onto the floor. On area rug mode, it dispensed more solution, but the cleaner basically moved the dirt around on the hardwood floor without picking it up. I need a very clean portion of the floor, it’s still left impressions from the brush. The floor was left hazy, and tacky to the touch. I have had similar floor cleaners which worked much much better. I was able to purchase this for $238 on sale. Now I know why it was on sale. It was a complete dud. It is frustrating that I had to assemble it, and now disassemble it and go back to the store with it. From now on, I will be really skeptical about products reviewed that were purchased as part of a promotion.VAshopper
Just bought myself an early Christmas present, the crosswave pro pet multi surface vac/mop. Really amazing how it cleans up, you see/feel/smell the difference instantly. I have health issues so sweeping/mopping is a challenge for me and i needed an easy option that worked. I have multiple cats and this is amazing with cat fur/dried up hairballs/cat litter etc, the fact that it separates all the icky stuff from the clean water makes the biggest difference…you will be in shock how much gets ckeaned up. Now this beautiful household tool needs care in between using it but i like the finished product so much i don't mind the clean up after and still easier then sweeping and mopping with way better results, plus i just put it up on my counter for easy access for the clean up. Tips: 1) don't use with a wet filter, always put a dry filter in. 2) get a baby tooth brush to get in small crevasse. 3) sweep out corners or hard to reach spots into where it can be vacuumed because this machine cant get to them. 4) i didn't get cordless because i don't want to deal with future batterie issues (not saying it happens but more likely then a cord) put top of cord on hook as you vacuum, easier to control cord dosen't get in your way. 5) clean spray holes if needed with paper clip. 6) make sure if you are dumping dirty water or cleaning off in the sink you have a drajn catcher because pet fur and gunk gets everywhere, you'll see as you are clean everything off and dumping water out, don'twant that going down your drain. 7) go slow when spraying the water, give wet vac mop a chance to do its thing. 8) make sure everything is dry b4 you put back together so no mold or smells start to happen. Like i mentioned, if you take care of this it will continue to take care of your floors and rugs. Ps: Not paid to write this, just a regular human. I paid for my crosswave and i really love it. I have had my Crosswave Pro Pet floor cleaner for three years this month. I don't use it everyday, but do use it regularly. I have two dogs that run in and out all day long. We live on a farm so you can guess what they get in to. Like a previous review stated, at first the machine worked great then not so much. I have to change the roller at least twice, or more sometimes, and wipe off the bottom of the machine periodically to keep dirty water from streaking the floor. After I am finished I can wipe the floor with a clean damp paper towel and the towel is very dirty. The cleaner leaves a dull residue on the wood floors. I always vacuum first before cleaning the floor to prevent the dog hair from clogging up the works and to remove as much loose dirt as possible before using the Crosswave. I also take the machine apart and thoroughly clean every part when I am done. I have purchased new rollers and filters through the years and only use the Bissill cleaners in the machine. Today when I started to use the machine it would not turn on. I tried the trouble shooting suggestions, but it didn't help. I checked for a service provider within 30 miles of my home and there isn't one. I am very disappointed in the life span of the machine and the quality of the job it does. I purchased the machine because of a back issue. I can not mop the traditional way without being bed ridden for days afterwards. The only reason I gave this machine a two is because it was easy on my back to use. If your back will stand it I recommend sticking with the good ole mop and bucket!

My cleaning girl used this mop yesterday, for the first time. I had it two weeks ago, but the handle, though steel, is put together with a little male and female plastic piece. The piece fell out the first time she put it together. After she left, I tried putting it together and thought it was okay. However, she almost got through cleaning my wood laminate floor with it yesterday, when the pieces fell out again. She was so disappointed because the mop was doing a fine job of cleaning the floor. This dust mop is not accurate in its description. They say nothing about that pad being on the bottom. From the looks it looks like its all strands. First of all, there are only about 2-3 rows of the strands around the outside 1" of the mop head. Tha'ts it….that's all. Just 1"!!! The rest is like a short pile oval that fills in the rest of the bottom area where there SHOULD be the microfiber strands. I have a German Shepherd that sheds like crazy all year long. This thing won't even pick up or grab the hair on the floor. I CAN say that is it very light weight. Probably because there are NO STRANDS! Don't waste your money on this item.noie831

the flip my is my favorite mop to wash my floors. Easy to use, remove and wash three or four times each time i use it, but I never use the drop mop side because i prefer to use a broom and a cotton dust mop. I believe cotton picks up dirt better. I don't like having to wash the heavier dust mop side at the same time. I'd prefer a mop with a two sided wash head. I love the flip mop design!! And it stores flat in a corner, but I've had to add a little wire in the loop on the handle so I can hang it flat behind a door also.judy
Let me start out with saying unlike these other paid "spark" reviews, mine is not paid for. I received nothing to make this review. Now my credentials, I am a small business owner. We are formally known as a "Building Maintenance Contractor." We clean offices, restaurants, banks and some medical facilities. I saw this mop at my local Walmart last night and saw the price tag, it was very affordable for just about anybody, coming in at a little lower than $12.00 before taxes with replacement heads approximately $7.00. I took it for a test run and immediately found out why it is so affordable. The sweeping dry mop is a good residential solution, it picked up every micro particle you could imagine. It was very difficult to get corners, under floor trim, against sides of walls and under appliances though. We ended up finishing the sweeping with a regular broom. The real issue is with the application of the liquid for the damp mop. They first of all recommend using water only, no disinfectant, which is NOT a sanitary solution. Secondly, after your first mop application the dry mop is now rendered absolutely useless as the fabic acts as a sponge and gets the dry mop wet. Thirdly, this mop is very hard to move over linoleum. The damp mop portion should "glide" whilst instead "sticks" to the surface. Overall, our solution remains with Rubbermaid QuickConnect and has for many years for wet mopping and any dry mopping is done with any janitorial green dry mop.MikeP
Two thirds of our home is Laid with hardwood floors and the rest is tile. I love our floors but unlike carpet it does not hiding any dirt! In fact every piece of lint, hair or whatever shows! But, when it’s clean you know your floors are clean! I love this mop, it’s part of what keeps my floors clean! It works well for what it was designed for. It is one of the tools used in the regular regiment of my cleaning. All floors are dust mopped, vacuumed then steam mopped. But, my steam mop doesn’t fit under my beds so I use a clean pad that I put into my sink where I have warm water mixed with a little cleaner, then gently wring it out and place it on the mop head and mop under the beds until I have the clean I want. The materials the mop pad itself is made from is plush and seems to be of good quality. it has held up pretty well. The only real issues that keeps me from giving this little fiber mop the 5 stars that it should deserve are two things. The mops head ‘closures’ that are supposed to hold the pad tightly on the mop head are made out of lesser than good quality material!! They wore out after about 25-30 machine washings. And, I have the Sensor LG Front loader Set so there were no agitators that caused the problem. The closures completely quit working on both pads! The other issue I have is the rudeness of the replies by OCedars Customer towards people who were just trying to get a simple question answered! There’s a question an answer section so why should we have to call in? I ask a question then read all the questions and answers or lack of! The same simple question was asked multiple times but was never answered! One person ask how wide it was (either referring to the mop head or pad) they got answered correctly or close enough it would be easy to figure out. But, when others ask how long it was instead of giving the (mop head or pad length) they were given the pole length. That same answer was repeated! I’m sorry but we don’t care about the pole length. Since you make more than one size mop, when we are buying these mops we need to know the mop head or replacement pad size so we can buy extra pads! That’s why it’s important for you to answer our questions!Cathy
