I purchase this product for my 13 year old – 5 pound 2 ounce Chihuahua. I started purchasing from Petmeds because my Vet has been having supply issues, and wanting to change my Fur babies medication to different medications every month to every 3 months. I got these because my dog is getting older and I need to switch her to softer foods. The bag is lightweight since it's freeze dried and seals nicely shut with the zip top. Upon opening the bag and seeing the patties I was a bit disappointed seeing that many of the patties were broken up. There were many still intact thankfully so I have a good idea of what 1/2 or 1/4 of the patties look like or if need be how much a whole patty would be now. The feeding guide on the back was great to figure out portioning. There is an option to use the patties as a topper to other dog food as well. The directions to prepare the food are a bit lacking. I wasn't sure how long to wait after adding the water. I wanted over 5 minutes but I could have probably stirred it earlier and just given it to my dog. I am always looking for a healthy "real" food for my dogs. Something I can give them and know that its all natural and actually good for them. I also have a diabetic dog and have to really watch everything he eats. I always make homemade food for my dogs, but they get tired of eating the same old-same old. I was happy I found these. For my diabetic, I can add a few crumbles of one of the patties as a topper to his homemade food, and the other night I rehydrated a half of patty and mixed it in with his food and he LOVED it. I took 2 patties and rehydrated them for my GS and mixed it with some boiled chicken breast and it was gone in seconds. I am happy with the ingredient and how really quick I can rehydrated the patties. And because they are dehydrated, they require no refrigeration unless you hydrate them, so I can take them with me when we go on vacation, just add hot water. My dog is a picky eater and the only food she tends to want to eat is food that doesn’t tend to have a ton of good ingredients for her and wet food and she won’t take vitamin and she can tell when it’s in her food so I figure because this not only has really Turkey parts in it but also squash, pumpkin, herring and a ton of extra ingredients I wasn’t expecting but I know add a ton of extra vitamins and minerals that dogs need to be healthy. By the selves my dog wouldn’t eat them but once I mixed these with her regular food she inhale it with her regular food. Great run for our backyard chickens. Very easy to put together although you’ll need a helper at times and maybe some gloves when stretching the wire. Be aware, This will not be secure enough to keep predators out! We had plenty of wire leftover but had to buy a lot more zip ties. The door is where I took a star off. It works, it’s just really finicky. Having two latches makes it more secure but also makes it extremely annoying. Also, in high wind it will blow away. I purchased this last year and added on to my chicken coop with it. The chickens took to the new space immediately and it gives them more space when they can't be free in the yard. The quality isn't great, the wood seems pretty cheap and not very durable, so I'm curious how long both the coop and this run will last. I purchased a latch for the top door though because it didn't have any way to keep that door closed At any rate, it was an inexpensive way to give my girls some extra room.trmivr

For the price u could build ur own. It's made with cheap wood and even cheaper hardware, we've had it setup less than a month and already replaced all door locks. The hinges are next to be swapped. This will need a water barrier of some kind, I used a poly coat on all the wood surfaces and purchased additional materials to elevate off the ground. Theres alot of cracks and crevices for insects to nest. The roof will need to be secured with additional fasteners when winds become a nuisance. I have begun to seal and prep the entire structure knowing it could break down fairly quickly. I will not be purchasing again at all.Nickname was taken
Overall a good coop for the price. Had to make some modifications and try different screws as some were short of what they were intended to be used. Some pieces had cracks which I sealed but easy to put together. Word of caution, before you screw everything, assemble it first to make sure parts are installed correctly. In his older years, my dog has become very picky when it comes to his food. He has turned up his nose at pretty much everything or grows tired of new things after just a couple of meals. I got this Jinx food topper for him a few weeks ago and sprinkled just a gram on and he devoured his dinner and licked the bowl clean – something I have never seen him do.
