Im a dog trainer and this is the only leash I ever use. In fact I think its such a good product that I supply every one of my clients with one of their own. Overall its a great leash. Strong thick material and a great metal buckle. However it has one flaw. The included carabiner is absolute garbage. Do NOT use it to secure your dog to you. It WILL break. This is a great leash, with one weak point that requires the customer to re manufacture with a stronger carabiner. The clasp bent, and the spring failed; the weak, lightweight carabiner no longer would close. Other than that, this is a great product. I use it as an adjustable walking lead by wrapping around my waist. The many adjustments allow me to keep my dog closer when shopping, or walking near other people and dogs. I can even use this to tether my dog to my chest while swimming at popular places. Only functional drawback is the relatively tight loops make it difficult to clip through three loops to stow excess lead when dog is kept close. I recommend immediately replacing the carabiner with TWO, better quality carabiners; this will make it easy to keep a medium and a short range "preset," as well as easier control of unused portion when shorter adjustments are used.WildEmu

This is a lightweight, but strong, leash with a comfortable, padded handle. I really appreciate the traffic handle, but wish it was a little bit longer so I wouldn't have to bend over to hold onto it. I used this leash in combination with a harness walking my 12 year old Alaskan Malamute. The hibiscus pink color popped well with her black coating and against the white snow of the Adirondacks. I really liked the handle design, as it accommodated wearing large mittens to walk my dog easily, and the 5 foot range was adequate for giving her the space she wanted to explore. I love the locking component on the clasp, which was the whole reason we bought this leash. But I don’t love that the traffic handle is too close to the clasp, so it’s not convenient to hold if your dog is short or the human is tall. I got this for my deaf dog for our first camping trip. The idea was to clip one end to her collar, and the other to her harness, so if something went wrong I wouldn't lose her. The metal rings aren't evenly spaced, so the straps weren't either. One would be too short and pulled on her, and the other too long and she tripped over it. I ended up just using our regular leash and hooking it to her collar.Holly Anne

Gooby makes some great products. Not only do I like their harnesses, but love their matching leashes that coordinate with them. I own 3 of them (red, black, and blue) and love that the mesh fabric gives the leash a lightweight feel. They are durable and are made well. I just don't recommend your dog chewing the rubber parts near the hook or handle because if they break the rubber, thick metal wire to construct the leash, becomes exposed and the leash becomes useless so the dog or owner does not get cut. Yes. My pup chewed the rubber and that's how I learned how the leash was constructed. It's not the fault of the company whatsoever, it's the owner not watching the pup a bit more closely. It is a great leash, though! So it's now No Chew! to the pup.Heidi
