Reviewing: Paw Fume Grooming and Finishing Show Dog Scent, 4 oz Paw Fume Show Dog Scent spray arrived in excellent condition, and fairly quickly. It comes in a small aerosol canister that is easy to hold as you groom your dog. My beagle had just come inside, out of the rain, when I decided to try it out on her. I waited until she dried herself off and lay in her dog bed before applying it. While she was looking away from me, I spritzed her a couple of times and she looked up at me in surprise, unaccustomed to the experience of being sprayed. I waited until she was settled again before spritzing her a couple more times and she was less discomfited by the feeling of the spray on her coat. The Paw Fume scent was not particularly prominent but it is a distinctly clean scent, kind of neutral, but subtly fragrant, similar in scent to fragrance used in dryer sheets. It dries quickly so that you can pet your dog without getting too much of the product on your hands but I would allow a few minutes for it to dry thoroughly before doing so. I don’t know if this product will give a dog an edge in a dog show, but it will definitely make their doggy scent less noticeable! I recommend it, but mention that user experience may vary depending on intangible factors such as the health of wellness of an individual dog. If a user observes any problem with their dog after applying the spray, it would probably be good to hold off using more of the product and consulting a veterinarian about the dog’s reaction before continuing with the spray. This is a great spray for your dog. Can be sprayed after bathing or in between baths. Just spray it on and brush through your dogs coat.This conditioner helps to remove odors while conditioning the coat leaving it sweet smelling for days. While conditioning your dogs coat, it also detangles the coat making it easier to groom them. Pawfume is formulated with scents: white lily, powdery musk and amber. Pawfume is hyperallergenic, alchahol free, sulfate free and paraban free. When I used it on my dog, a Siberian Husky, at first he didn't seem to like it. However, after a few uses he stands still while I put it on and seems to enjoy his brushing. Because of the amount of hair he has, we brush daily and this seems to make the brushing a lot easier for him and me. I will continue to use this and highly recommend it for anyone who has a dog. I really do not like dog "perfume" sprays for the most part and do not usually purchase them. I am very sensitive to ALL perfumes and odors especially IF they are TOO strong or TOO perfumy smelling. This one is nice and a pleasant surprise! I am trying to describe the scent as being more of a very "fresh and clean", lighter scent, rather than that "old" lady's very strong, perfume scent that takes your breath away (like always seems to happen in a small elevator) and makes you gag because you can actually taste her perfume scent! I was a bit concerned with it being a metal can "aerosol" can type of spray. Usually, these types of products spray very heavily and end up expelling throughout the air. This "spray" does NOT do that at all. It is more of a direct, straight, "mist" nozzle spray that applies where you point it rather than spreading everywhere. This didn't seem to bother either one of my dogs at all. Both have sensitive skin so I was taking a risk putting this on them BUT I've checked their skin very thoroughly and they've shown no negative reaction to this product whatsoever…that is a definite plus! I still prefer giving my dogs a bath rather than spraying them to just cover up their dirt but this is nice to have when I don't have time to bathe them and company is on the way!triciaub13
