Beautyrest’s 300 tc sateen cotton European down comforter – all seasons, is amazing!! The comforter is really well constructed and doesn’t have random strings hanging off, which happens to me a lot with other comforters. I find a lot of these come apart at the seams easily, and this one has held up really well! It is perfect for cool nights or warm ones, when you just want something light over you. I’m not sure how it works exactly but it does! It’s kept me comfortable regardless of the room temperature. That’s my favorite part about it. Overall, this is a good product that I would recommend to a friend. When looking for a comforter, I like cotton thread, a sateen weave and down or a down blend. Being from New England (a cooler climate), the sateen finish is generally what I look in sheets. They are a little thicker, a little heavier and smoother feeling than a percale weave. Even though I use a comforter cover, I still like this weave. 100% Cotton Cover: This is listed as a 300-thread count fabric. I typically like the count to be in the 400-600 range but with natural materials, I’m ok with a lower number. I’ve uploaded a close-up photo of the weave with this review. You can see how nice and tight it is. Stitching: The baffle box and edge stitching seems very consistent and straight. There were a few thread ends noticed on each side of the comforter. Baffle box: This is a great way to keep the fill from migrating to the outsides. However, they could have been more consistent with the volume of fill in each box. I’ve included a photo of a box that had little filling next to one that had a lot. While the overall warmth is not affected, in principle only, it is not something you like to see. Fill: This was listed as a down fill comforter. But the manufacturer’s tag says “White Down (minimum 75% DOWN) contents Sterilized.” I don’t know could make up the other part. Being that the comforter is made out of microfiber, it is very soft. It feels good on your skin, and provides warmth without making you feel too hot during the evening. I chose a queen size, and it covers the bed just fine, but not quite as long as other comforters. I also like how the comforter is filled with a hypoallergenic polyester fiber which is a great alternative to down feather comforters. This is the softest comforter I have ever owned! You could slide right across it. It is a beautiful shade of gray, light like heather. It matches well with my bedroom decor. It makes me feel like I am a pampered princess. It does have some drawbacks. It sheds worse than a pet. I did see less shed after the first wash but still wake up with furry bits on my jammies. I also suggest air dry on a clothesline to keep the "fur" from knotting up. I also had to switch the pillow cases over to the non "fur" side because it kept tickling my face. Not that it can't be a daily set, I find it more for a spare room or a decorative top layer that isn't used when you sleep. It is reversible. When I first opened up the comforter, I wasn't impressed. The photos definitely make it look better than it actually is which is super disappointing for the price point. After two full nights of sleeping with the comforter, my husband and I started noticing black fibers EVERYWHERE. On the sheets, pillows, carpet, our clothing, even our dog. We then tried washing the comforter with the recommended method in which we had to get sticky rollers for all of the other surfaces. The washing did not help and each day there would be black fibers all over everything again. After two nights, we ended up just throwing the comforter into our storage and we purchased another from a different company. A comforter should not cause that much hassle or require that much effort. Honestly, it's ridiculous. I wish I could just get a refund given we've spent so much money with this company and this experience was just awful.

I don't usually write reviews but I want to hopefully keep someone else from making the same mistake I did. I ordered the twin size of this comforter and had very high expectations. The comforter I received was extremely thin and flimsy feeling and made loud crinkling noises with the slightest move. This might have been okay had that been the only issue, however this comforter and way too short for a twin bed. When I tried to put this on my bed it did not even cover the whole mattress. There was at least 2-3 inches of bare mattress at the bottom. This does not fit a twin sized bed and I'd be embarrassed to be selling it to people as such.emilyec

A bit of the synthetic filling pulled through several of the stitch lines in the middle of the comforter, so took some time to clean up with care and some sharp scissors. The cover material is truly awful. It is loud and crinkly. This is not a comforter you are going to cuddle with. It falls off the bed in a lump and will knock things over. It is warm, for sure, but has no flexibility, or drape. Even the cats won’t sit on it (maybe that’s a plus?). I’d put a soft duvet cover over it, but that won’t help with the stiffness or the noise. I bought two, full/queen size, and they are going in our cars as car blankets in case of break down in winter. Maybe for the beach. They take up a huge amount of space even folded.Suze

I absolutely love your comforters, and sheets! I finally figured out which sheets come in a nice plastic bag, and have elastic on the corners to hook the bottom sheet on easier. I have approximately 10 sets of sheets, and wish all were the bamboo with the elastic band on corners of fitted sheets. I started purchasing the comforters just a month or two ago. I got two just last week. After washing them, etc., I took at least a half hour trying to fold them into the air tight bag. NO LUCK! Wish you would increase the size a bit, as I am pretty strong and there was no way I got them in. However, I'll have to find something else to use. Cosy products are by far the best bedding I've ever had. I'm running out of space, but hope you make more colors in comforters, and the luxury bamboo sheets with the elastic straps on the corner. So i see a lot of reviews on the fabulous sheets and almost none on the luxury bamboo duvet. I just got a white king size from cozyhouses amazon page and it arrived very quickly. After washing by followingthe washing instructions to the letter, it is so so so so soft. It is very good quality and also the duvet cover ties are so handy and durable. The quality of the comforter is amazing, but we ordered a size king/cal king and it is way too small. It barely drapes the sides of our king size bed, and I feel like my husband and I are always pulling the comforter away from each other to get more of it. I was a bit put off that the comforter did not come in a zippered storage bag but vacuum sealed in plastic. The description states it’s microfiber, it is not! It’s 100% polyester! It also had a pungent odor when I took it out of the plastic. It did puff up when taken out of the vacuum sealed packaging. I ordered the tan and chocolate comforter, however the chocolate isn’t chocolate. More like a shade or two darker than the tan side. I’ve preserved several blankets over the course of the past month and a half to complete our bedroom remodel and every one of them has been misleading, inaccurate colors, damaged, etc. The return process and reordering has been exhausting! For the price of this comforter I’m just going to keep it. It is extremely soft, feels thick enough but light at the same time! I washed it and unlike other blankets it spun out nicely. It almost felt dry when I took it out of the washer. I thought maybe I had forgot to start it. It dried in half the time other blankets take to dry. This is the best of the handful of blankets/comforters that I’ve purchase and returned lately. I like that it has a 3 year warranty as well! How many companies do that?marlana
This comforter is so silky-feeling – and it is warm, even without being in a coverlet. It's the only comforter I will buy. This is the 2nd Linenspa comforter we've purchased and we're complete satisfied with it. Only one glitch: I ordered a "King" size; the plastic wrapping enclosing it said "King," but when putting the comforter on the bed, the tag says "Oversize Queen." It is a good fit for our queen bed, admittedly, but having purchased a King and paid for a King…well, I would have wanted exactly what we purchased. I took a chance based on reviews and am amazed I don't even have a complaint. This comforter is soft, fluffy and lightweight for being thick. It's like sleeping under a big puffy marshmallow in the best way. Sleeping between this and a 12" nolah latex mattress has made my sleep a cushy luxurious experience. We purchased the ivory shade in King size. This is not an all year comforter. It looks great. It's Very soft and gets very HOT. My husband and I live by ourselves in MD and at night in November/December we just turn off the heat and when we wake up in the morning the house is like 60 degrees but we sleep so good because the comforter gets so hot. i don't think I could handle sleeping under it without turning the heat off though. I think that's the only downside :-/ash
