I have 2 puppies, one is 4 months the other is 6. The 4 month old will be a medium breed & 6 month is a Chihuahua. The Chihuahua ate it easy, I had the make the other pup eat it… Next day the bigger one pooped first thing in the morning and we saw, I believe roundworms. The Chihuahua pooped twice before we saw the worms… but they were just really thirsty in the morning. They seemed normal other than that! Gave this to my one year old cat and within an hour she started vomiting, she rapidly got worse and started having tremors, brought her to the vet and they said she had ingested something toxic but couldn’t see anything obvious either in vomit or blood or urine, I informed them of the wormer and all he had to say was well we used to use that but don’t anymore, 5 days later she died. I was reluctant if this product would work. I was concerned if the kitties would notice the taste or not eat all their food on the plate at one sitting. I put just a tad into some Whipped Cream (it does the trick every time!) and every cat not only ate the medication, the plate was licked dry. Have not noticed any fine pieces of "rice" so know its done its job. If you are lucky – Purchase from the best Seller on ebay "MTCMAMA1" and the product will arrive already crushed finely into foil packets and ready to put into something yummy kitty cannot afford to miss. If your dog is on a raw diet, or you live on acreage exposed to any wildlife then your dogs will have Tapeworm. Mine did, surprise stool tests don’t test for Tapeworm. I saw signs of the empty sacks, they look like the top of large corn kernels (hominy corn). If you look up Equine Tapeworm. It looks nothing like cat tapeworm! Praziquantel is the only treatment. I’ve been faithfully treating my three with Panacure (very $$) alternating w Pyrantel Pamoate, thinking I was doing great. Nope neither touched Tapeworm! The Triple Wormer’s are a mix of Pyrantel Pamoate and Praziquantel it treats Round, Hook and Tapeworms. Two sizes small-med and med-large, and then there is a weight chart for how many. For my guys I buy the 12 count of the Med-Large because they need 3 chewable each. So every 3-4 weeks I go thru 9 chewables! Today Walmart has the best price on Duravet Med-Large 12 count $42. Amazon is over $50! Beginning 2022 it was $35. But with one product it treats all three very nasty parasites and sadly prior owners had horses, so I do have hookworms in my soil! If you’re on Equestrian property you do too! I highly recommend a TripleWormer. My GSD’s are very sensitive but don’t get tummy aches, or show any distress after worming. Their first stool isn’t pretty, and you should scoop quickly. As you order you’ll know what is a good price in this 40 year worst economy, Hope you realize how great we had it! My Vet never told me about Tapeworm! Or Praziquantel? Or that there were parasites NOT TESTED FOR? I brought up seeing something very strange, then she told me. That really upset me. My Doberman was showing signs of worms… I would find traces in his bed, and was beside myself!! And wanting something fast acting. Within one day of giving him the Bayer quad dewormer I stopped seeing the traces and he started eliminating the worms! Highly recommend!!J Hageman

My dogs won't eat any meds. With this dewormer, I had to cut it up into 4 pieces and stir it into some canned food. Since they eat dry food 29 days of the month, the canned food is a treat. It helps to push the dewormer pieces into a nugget in the wet food. Smart dogs avoid meds. Mush the wet food around the dewormer into a pattie. This is one of the best dewormers because it has 3 active ingredients. Most come with just one of the three. Make sure you repeat treatment…. 2-4 days in row, or weekly, and immediately clean the yard often, and remove the pooping pads/newspapers. Its too easy for the furbabies to stick their nose into some and get the itchy butt parasites again.donutz28

My only comment is the size of the chewables…my dogs are not treat-driven AND they know “medicine” in disguise…these chewables are quite large, my dogs wont eat them (and my dogs are quite large)…we grind them into a powder and sprinkle on their food. I have two geldings, one an older retiree for whom worming is no big deal. The younger still green one throws a bit of a tantrum and I have at times ended up covered in wormer. Of course I know tricks for getting him used to it, and he's far better than he used to be. This is awesome stuff! I put a small dab (size of a dried pea) in some jam. My 3 year old rat ate it before she could taste anything bad. It almost immediately got rid of her mites. She is elderly and now acting younger and much more spunky. The mites were really stressing out her body, but are now gone and she feels great. I've tried many things to get rid of the mites and even took her to the vet. The vet gave her Advantix for kittens, but it didn't help. I will continue to use this product. Awesome!!jgwood2

I love this wormer. It has helped my horse great deal. My one gelding had skin infections so bad and I tried just about everything, even shots. My 7 week old tri color bully has vomited in his third day at our house, I googled and saw it said it’s normal for pups to do this sometimes, no worries. Two days later early morning(6:50am EST) he vomited then about 10 minutes later he pooped out about 8 long worms, found they were Roundworms. I immediately went to Meijer and grabbed two boxes of this 7 Way De-Wormer for Small Dogs and gave him a tablet which he happily chomped down. He passed loads of dead worms in each stool that day(like twice). The next morning his belly wasn’t bloated anymore but he wouldn’t eat much but drank water. By the evening he was felling great and back running through the house, he passed about 3-4 live worms in 2 of his 3 stools that day, the third stool had no worms! On the third day there were no more worms in his stool but I gave him the other tablet because I saw a very good vet recommend one deworming tablet day one, a second on day three then again in two weeks. It’s day 6 and he’s been worm free for going on 3 days! It says not to use til 12 weeks on the box, however if your pup is over 6 lbs then I think its okay to use. My little girl is a pit and catahoula mix and shes only about 7-8 weeks old and she handled the dewormer very well. She passed a HUGE tapeworm 🤢 we decided to deworm her due to tape worm segments being passed every so often which is absolutely gross. It took a little over 24 hours for her to pass everything. This is the single most effective and affordable dewormer for dogs. I will recommend this dewormer to everyone and use it for any puppies that I have in the future. Liquid dewormer from the feed store has NOTHING on this stuff and my puppy wanted to eat more of the tablet so I guess it was good. Seriously, get this for your pet you will not regret it.Sara

These worked right away for my 12 pound 1 year old dog. It took overnight to see the results. I snuck it into a chewy treat before bedtime and he didn’t notice it at all since they are super small. After receiving only 1 of the 2 pills (give second pill 2-3 months later for lasting results), he didn’t have anymore worms coming out of his poop and randomly out of his butt. He was constipated for about two weeks to a month and I don’t know if it had anything to do with the worms or the pill but he’s never had that issue before. It was a pretty quick fix by switching out his food temporarily for soft/watery food. Do not think twice about getting it for them as it is life threatening to wait too long for a vet visit. Well the wormer came quick. I have German Shepherds so the price was great since there are 6 in the package and my dogs each got two tablets. They were a bit hesitant to eat them but with a little coaxing they did. It was a routine worming so unsure if it was effective or if they had worms. Very happy with this product. We have a new pup from shelter, fostered and adopted. He had received one dose of dewormer at shelter intake. Noticed tapeworms in his stool and dead ones in kennel. Immediately started looking for dewormer that covers tapes. Was able to purchase this with the help of a friendly female employee. This product is exactly the same as the ingredients in Panacur. It has been around forever, and works perfectly well for the worms it is intended to treat. After getting a recommendation from the vet, we used this on our dog with very successful results. Tapeworms require a different product. Obviously, your dog should be diagnosed at your vet's office. Then you will know WHAT type of worms your dog has, and what treatment is necessary. It goes without saying that you must READ the directions as well as get instructions from your vet. I find mixing the powder with canned food or a glob of yogurt is all you need to do to get your dog to gobble it up. Your dog should also be on a heartworm preventative, and most of these products will have the added benefit of preventing several other types of parasites. Overall I highly recommend, just check with your vet that it is what your dog needs.annahudson

Purchased PetArmor first when I physically saw worms in my dogs stool. Weighted my dog and he was 27lbs so correct wight for what I got.. 2 weeks later gave him the second dose just in case. 1 week later still had worms. Then Bought this Safe Guard 4 and gave the 3 packets for body weight like directed. Week after giving him that. Still saw worms. So I took him to the vet to see if maybe it was worms that these 2 dewormers just didn’t treat for. Nope, he had tapeworm and both this one and the Safe Guard 4 supposedly treat for tapeworm. Also, before I started all of this I did treat my home and yard for fleas and our dog so he shouldn’t have kept getting tapeworm from fleas. Vet said his flea treatment was working so the dewormers from Walmart just don’t work at all. Don’t waste your money and just take your pet to the vet.Natalie

My pups, across numerous litters, never take this formulation like they do when I buy it at the vet's. The vet solution is thicker and smells line banana and the pups love it. Also the price on pyrantel pamoate has tripled across the board over the past five years for no apparent reason. Looks like orice fixing to me.Kflakey

I use to really like this product and had used it for quiet some time with our pets and litters of pups. At first it worked very well but as time went on it seemed to become less effective. Considering the price of such a little bottle I expect it to work and be efficient, but sadly it seems this product no longer produces the results it's suppose to produce.christina.n

I give my puppy this. He is 10 weeks old and is a lab and had mange and worms when we got him. We started him on this medicine and within a week he was much better and he loves this medicine. My cat, King Red, got a stubborn tapeworm.. the pyranthanal palmonate had no effect on the parasite. Neither did "Advantage II", nor "Drontal" tablet. I'm not a "worm" expert, but I needed to know what kind of creature we were fighting. Google showed me matching pictures. For YEARS I recommended these to everyone and anyone within ear shot. We breed, raise, train poodles and Bernese mountain dogs. These dogs can be anywhere from 1000-5000 a piece however the pain my family is feeling from this completely avoidable losses no amount can fix. We have not lost just one family member but seven senselessly. It wasn’t till a vet tech advised me in line at our Petco not to buy this product that this was what was making dogs sick! Our puppies and adults all dogs all wore these and experienced vomiting, diarrhea, seizures, spontaneous abortions, chemical burns and the worst death. The pets in our house receive love in frequent Caresses', Brushings, Gardens for play and Special beds for sleep. Above ALL, they receive New Seresto Collars on Valentine's day each year ! Thus, they are protected throughout the year from those nasty ticks and fleas that would love to snuggle into their fur and pester the cats and dogs all season. Oversight Subcommittee Report Reveals EPA Failed to Protect Pets, Owners From Dangerous Flea and Tick Collar

Washington, D.C. (June 15, 2022)—Today, Rep. Raja Krishnamoorthi, Chairman of the Subcommittee on Economic and Consumer Policy, released a staff report entitled “Seresto Flea and Tick Collars: Examining Why a Product Linked to More than 2,500 Pet Deaths Remains on the Market,” which details the findings of the Subcommittee’s 16-month investigation into the safety of the Seresto flea and tick collar. The report reveals that the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) under previous administrations was aware of the dangers of the Seresto collar as early as 2015 and failed to take action to protect pets and their owners. Scientific experts, a former EPA official, and pet owners will testify about the dangers of the Seresto collar and the findings of the Subcommittee’s report at a hearing this afternoon.

“It is unacceptable that the EPA has been aware of the Seresto collar’s safety concerns for years and has continued to allow Americans to unknowingly put their pets in danger by using a product they have been led to believe is safe,” said Chairman Krishnamoorthi. “While I am pleased by the EPA’s new commitment to revisit the incident data, I urge the agency to initiate formal Notice of Intent to Cancel proceedings to determine whether the Seresto collar should be removed from the market, including a comprehensive cost-benefit review of its serious risks. Following the Subcommittee’s disturbing findings, I believe the EPA must expand its data collection standards and more strictly follow its scientific review process to ensure that dangerous products are not permitted to stay on the market and threaten the welfare of pets that so many Americans view as family.”

The Seresto flea and tick collar received EPA approval in 2012 and was introduced to the market in 2013. Since then, Bayer—the original brand owner of the collar—and Elanco—which purchased the product in 2020, have sold more than 30 million collars. Pet owners embraced the convenience of the product, which provides 8 months of flea and tick protection for dogs and cats for under $70, and which is widely sold by pet specialty stores, online pet pharmacies, and large online retailers.

The Subcommittee launched its investigation into the collars in March 2021, following the publication of an investigative report which revealed that, as of June 2020, there had been more than 75,000 incidents and approximately 1,700 pet deaths linked to the Seresto collar. Since then, the reported numbers have increased to more than 98,000 incidents and 2,500 pet deaths.

The Subcommittee reviewed emails from the EPA, as well as documents from Bayer and Elanco, that showed the EPA was aware of these incident numbers and the dangers caused by the collar yet failed to act. Documents and communications obtained by the Subcommittee reveal:

EPA Rushed Seresto’s Approval Through a Flawed Scientific Review Process: An EPA Risk Manager wrote in 2016 that the agency “rushed” the Seresto collar’s registration so that the CDC could use the collars in a study. The California Department of Pesticide Regulation found that key studies that tested the Seresto collar on adult dogs and cats were not acceptable because the studies “greatly under-estimated the exposures” to one of the collar’s active ingredients. When we moved to Florida, both dogs got a terrible case of round and tape worms. These pills clearly did the trick with just the first dose – though we will follow up with the secondary dose in 14 days as indicated. So thankful this drama is over!Collette van T

This is a difficult review for me. While Vetoryl helped my dog in the beginning, she developed some of the negative side effects after being on it for just over a year. She became very lethargic and began to collapse in the floor. She was extremely weak. She had lost about 13 pound in 12 months. I immediately took her to the vet. He took her off Vetoryl and put her on Prednisone which she has now been taking for about 3 months. With the Prednisone, she was Immediately more alert, was less lethargic and her strength improved. She has also began to gain some much need weight. I AM NOT saying not to give your dog Vetoryl, I'm saying to closely monitor your dog for any side effect that may develop the longer your dog is on Vetoryl. The problem with monitoring your dog is that the negative symptoms Vetoryl and the symptoms of Cushing's Disease mirror each other. Which makes it more difficult to decide if it's the Vetoryl or Cushing's Disease that is killing your dog. You have to "know your dog". Know what looks right and what does not. If you suspect your dog may be having a reaction to Vetoryl, talk to your vet immediately.TERRY

My dog has Cushing's disease and this was what the doctors recommended. I was reticent to put her on a medicine that she would have to be on the rest of her life, but it has proven that is works. She was continually gaining weight, now she is back closer to what she should weigh. It also helps with the water drinking and urinating. We run a horse rescue, & Sanctuary. (Bounds Horse Haven Sanctuary)So we have all kinds of horses come through here. I have never had ANY horse curl their lip up at this de-wormer. It is easy, and simple to use. Just mix it with their grain, you are done! They eat it up! They ALL seem to love it! It is a lot cheaper than the equi-bits specifically for horses. This is a multi-species, de-wormer. When worming 30 plus horses, you can't beat the price. The tube wormers, are just a fight to try to use on some horses.
