His “sister” who is not really his sister, but she’s a salt and pepper mini schnauzer, has had 2 harnesses now from Baxterboo and I’ve been kicking myself for not getting him one because of just how dang easy and simple they are to put on. This color is SO cute on him, and the day it came in the mail and we went for a walk (after first making sure it fit) he was prancing! It was cute, him and his sister love their harnesses and they look adorable in them. People stop me all the time to say how cute they are. And I cannot emphasize enough about how MUCH time/ energy/ pain etc etc this harness style has saved me from. I also LOVE that you can make it cross- cross like an “x” shape in the back to get a more customized fit. This is a perfect harness. We have tried several brands and styles for our pup but they were all too big or lose and his arms kept popping out. He’s just 3lbs with a chest measurement of 10”. I got the dark purple and they are beautiful. I have two Crocker Spaniels. Both girls have a wide chest but a short back so they can be difficult to get things to fit correctly. These work great if you need a little room to play with the size because the top closes with velcro and then a clasp. If you're dog pulls these feel really solid. Overall they are well put together and the colors are eye catching. When I take both girls to the dog park in their matching harnesses I always get asked about where I got them and what colors do they have!!
I have 4 of these harnesses from a few years ago and loved them. I decided to order 2 more… Unfortunately the new ones all gape at the neck terribly! Even pulling it back more so it’s flat on the neck first doesn’t work as it won’t close the Velcro and then the arm holes rub under the armpits. I realized they changed the arm holes slightly (by overlaying it onto my old ones) and it’s thrown off the whole pattern. They are now useless. So Disappointing since all else is perfect- quality, price, patterns. Try the “Wrap & Snap” instead, it fits great and is nice for summer as there’s no extra fabric on the back.Dog Mom

I was so excited to receive the harness – it seemed like a huge upgrade from the old one I bought from Tractor Supply that my dog was using. Well. It took twice as long as expected to arrive which is ridiculous when I paid for shipping. The shipping fees were refunded, but I had purchased the item with the intent to use it by a specific date which didn’t happen since it didn’t arrive until MUCH later. When it finally did show up the package was ripped almost completely open and the packaging of the product was all messed up which is also ridiculous. Alright it’s here, looks like **** but it’s here. It’s a much brighter blue than I expected which I like. It took a little while to figure out how to adjust as the ends were so firmly tucked into the harness I thought I was going to break it. Finally got it on and adjusted and “Meh”. It’s not deep enough (front to back) in my opinion, and my dog is not an odd or unusual shape. I do like that it covers less surface area, she appears to stay cooler (but a double coated black dog in the humid Midwest is always hot). It does sag when wet (which is almost always as she swims regularly) BUT it dries and goes back to the original fit which is a pro I guess. I say I guess because I didn’t expect a harness I paid over $80 to sag at all when wet but ♀ It doesn’t show any wear yet which it shouldn’t for only having it 2 weeks. It does shift like crazy. Not as bad as the cheap tractor supply one, but again I expected ZERO shifting from the $80+ harness. Honestly I probably won’t buy again. I was super excited to find a harness with everything I wanted: reflectors (which the ones on this harness ****, seriously for $80 y’all couldn’t put reflective piping on all edges?!), a handle on the back, bright blue, goes over the head/ NOT a step through and had a back leash clip. But honestly I’m pretty disappointed. There is a lot of room for improvement in what I consider an expensive harness (more reflective piping, padding under the middle set of buckles, better fit, better choice of shipping carriers). I’m not going to get rid of it and it does fit better than the Tractor Supply but I don’t absolutely love it like I hoped.Seva P.
My girl discovered early on that she can back out of her harness in a heartbeat. She can't back out of the Flagline harness (yay!) and – more importantly – if needed, I can pull on the leash / harness without fear of hurting her. (There have been a couple times when we've encountered dogs who are too friendly — having the Flagline harness on my girl made it much easier to pull her back to a safe distance without fear of hurting her or having the harness pop off at a bad time.) The harness is easy to put on / take off. It's strong. The reflective trim helps make her more visible. The adjustable straps make it easy to size up during the winter time when she's got winter coat(s) to accommodate. Having clips for closure is so much nicer than harnesses with velcro closures. (Velcro closure doesn't last long – and trying to wash anything with velcro – oy veh!) The price was a little more than I thought I'd spend for a harness – but having a harness I can trust and that will last is worth every penny. 100% recommend!Karen G.
The harness is super adjustable and fits my pups barrel chest so well! We wanted the waist clip as the single rib clip always slipped off or got loose and it wasn’t enough security for us. We also really love the handles! The front loop works super well to mitigate some pulling (pups only 8 months old) and my favorite feature is the inner material that rests on his body, it’s not mesh or fabric that his short coat sticks into so his hair isn’t being rubbed off or sticking in the harness getting stuck in cracks and making it itchy or difficult to clean. This harness is also super easy to wash and I really love the hardy materials on this harness. Wish it came in orange but the grey works just as well on our pup! This harness just fits Róka so well and I’m so pleased with it!!!! It fits and contours to his whole body and moves with him when he’s moving around! The medium Kurgo harness fits my 23 pound dog well. The harness itself is incredibly sturdy – I was actually surprised by how “heavy” it is. The blue color is nice and the reflective material is an added bonus. The harness slips on over the dog’s head then buckles closed on each side. So far, it has been very easy and fast to put it on and take it off my dog. The leash clips are positioned in such a way (middle of back) that makes it easy to walk the dog without her choking herself (a problem we have with our old harness) from pulling. The harness is a bit stiff, however, so it’s not good for car rides where dog needs to lie down for long periods. The only concern we have is the loops to clip the leash to don’t seem as sturdy as the rest of the harness. The are a thinner aluminum that bends easily. Overall, I am impressed with this harness and recommend it.Ndanip
My boyfriend has the Nylon Reflective Journey Air Dog harness (M), which looks like this harness mixed with the Tru-fit harness kind of. I have this Journey Air Dog harness (M) for my GSD/husky mix. We have a couple of issues with this specific model of the Journey harness. She has an athletic build with a pretty deep chest that is also narrow as heck, and due to the longer padding on the top of the chest piece, I'm unable to adjust it enough so that it fits her well. It renders the front D-ring useless, as the harness will pull to the side of her body loosely. Unfortunately, sizing down would mean that it would not be able to fit around the deepest part of her ribcage. The other issue I have with this harness is that I'm nervous it chaffs the back of her armpit area. It's pretty snug up against the backs of her legs–maybe even too snug. I would size up, but then that would exacerbate the issue with the front. I'm almost certain it's an unpleasant experience for her as she runs away when I so much as pick up the harness. I brought up the fact that my boyfriend has this type of harness (but a different/earlier model) because I am able to adjust that one well to my dog. None of the issues present in my harness are present in the other one, likely because of the smaller chest padding. I would go to the Tru-Fit harness for my pup, but we go hiking a bunch, and the handle on the back is a must-have. What is probably the most upsetting is that I cannot find this other model of harness in stock and in the size we need anywhere as of today. Pluses: Hitching my dog (border collie cross 16" neck, 22" chest) to the chest ring on a Size L harness stopped her pulling. The harness is lightweight, easy to get on and off, and seems to be comfortable. Minuses: Unfortunately the nylon webbing that secures the chest attachment ring has frayed after approximately 10 walks. I believe that the edges of the slot where the nylon webbing threads through the steel attachment ring are machined with edges that are too sharp. They are essentially sawing through the nylon webbing (see photos), especially I'm guessing when the ring is under tension. I just noticed maybe a 1/4 inch tear Monday, then checked the harness after our walk yesterday and the tear had visibly extended about halfway through the attachment webbing. I purchased two harnesses, so I used the second harness this morning. The same damage already is beginning to happen. To me the real issue here is the harness has been used for a couple weeks as intended, and that ring sits low on the chest. And unless you check your dogs' leash gear like you're a parachute rigger there is a potential not to see the damage, and that makes this unequivocally a product safety issue.Dogboy

This harnass lasted exactly three minutes. I put it on my dog, adjusted it, and she chewed it for a second and it completely tore. The company acknowledges that it can not withstand even a quick nip from your dog. Ridiculously poor quality. Their answer is for you to spend another 12.99 for a warranty to get another harnass which will do the same thing. Awful product that is expensive. Dismissive and unethical customer service. There are many other good options for harnesses out there. Save your money and aggravation .Kerri R
I really like the product. The two connection points give me more control over my reactive dog. A few months after purchase I noticed some of the nylon was unraveling near one of the box stitches. I contacted the company and provided pictures and they replaced it right away. Great product and great service.
Just know that this isn’t a miracle product that will completely stop your dog from pulling. It’s not a replacement for training. YOU as the owner have to teach your dog proper leash manners. But if you want more control, or you have a reactive dog, I definitely recommend this.Rachel Cormier
This has been a major breakthrough with my crazy pulling dog! We have tried several other collars as well as a harness that had more of a collar and only attached to the leash on the back. Was disappointed. The picture shows 2 engraved tags—only includes one. Was told the two images were for visual of both sides but the description says tag”s!” The photo ID came darker than my original. Asked for a redo and sent a lighter image. Original was redone but just printed lighter. Was told the second photo could not be used since the original was used. This harness is perfect for my dog. She is 70 pounds and the first time I put it on her she didn't seem to mind it at all. The attachment handle is perfect as it lays down because I don't need or use the handle all the time and I didn't want a rigid one that stood up. I got one of these for each of my dogs, along with matching leashes. I was really excited for them but not in love once they finally arrived. Partially my fault – when I saw reviews mentioning the new neck clip, I thought that meant they had added it to every color, not just the new bright yellow. Unfortunately I don't like that color, and the lack of a neck clip on the ones I got is REALLY annoying. It's just too much effort to loosen and tighten the neck multiple times a day when I want to walk my dogs. For now I'm only using it on the dog that pulls more on walks, or when they both need to ride in the car, and I'm looking for a replacement for the meantime. If they add neck clips to the other colors I'd definitely repurchase though. The other small but annoying issue is that the fabric "wings" of the harness aren't attached to the straps if that makes sense – it's only sewn together in the center. That means that despite how soft and comfy the material it is, it tends to slip out from underneath the straps while my dog walks. I can easily fix this with a few stitches but I feel like it shouldn't be necessary. The good parts: the fabric is really soft and smooth and lightly padded so it seems very comfy, and the colors are great.Molly C.
I recently purchased small harness in blush. This was for my 16lb Shiba. The harness is soft, and it sturdy quick-release buckles and straps. The build of the harness is quality, and the overall fit and color looks nice on my dog. The harness fits mostly well, but I cannot tighten the neck area down enough. Her neck is a little more than 12 inches, so I thought the Small would tighten enough for that. Also, tightening the neck strap all the way allows me to put it on and over her head easily, but taking it back off of her head is quite difficult. She pulls and struggles to get out. So I have to loosen it every time I take it off. Which is for the four times a day that I take her on walks. TLDR- for the build and overall quality, it is worth the price. However, if you have to take it on and off your dog multiple times a day, it may become a little frustrating. Easy to get on, hard to get off. I wish the neck straps also had quick release buckles.
I realllllly wanted to love the Wild Ones walk kit I got. I like my leash, albeit a little heavy and I love the poop bags – they're luxurious to the touch but feel substantial when picking up messes. also the bag holder is luxe too and very sturdy. The harness is so cute on my little 10 lb maltese mutt puppy but unfortunately, he absolutely hates the neck part sliding over his face. he has a meltdown and is aggravated every time. some of the newer Wild One colors have the feature where the neck buckles similarly to the chest part (this came out after I ordered mine) but honestly, it should just be standard across all the colors. Maybe that's the plan after they sell out of inventory, but until that is the case, I won't be replacing the harness when my pup grows out of the XS. I bought a step-in harness of Amazon that has done the trick and both me and my pup have much chiller walk times because of it. Still love the leash and poo bags/holder!Clareen
