Bought Two of these – One for each grand dog home. Shipped to family member where we have Xmas and “Pup Pup”, the resident parcel inspector and delivery announcer went bonkers when the ball was removed from the shipping box. The ball is very rigid plastic which prevents total instant destruction by the doxie tag team that makes short work of any toy in reach. I would recommend this toy for a smaller dog or one who is not a powerful chewer. I know this is not intended to be a chew toy, but realistically, if you have a medium or large dog, they usually have a tendency to chew any toy you put in front of them. I have an English Pointer mix who normally destroys any toy I give him unless I get it from BullyMake or BarkBox. Unfortunately, neither offer a toy that compares to this one in terms of entertainment for your dog. He absolutely loved this toy so it is a shame that he was able to bite chucks out of it within 20 minutes. I can't find the pieces that he took out of it so I'm waiting to see if he passes them. If not, it will be a visit to the vet. He was so sad when I took it away from him and looked at me with those sad brown eyes. I would love to have one of stronger material that he could play with and not have to worry. My dog absolutely LOVES this ball. We got her one when she was just a puppy and it’s been her favorite toy since. She’s had it about 6 months and has destroyed it. I bought this for my mom for Christmas because she has a Lab that LOVES to play catch. I had a few things I was worried about that ended up not being an issue at all: 1. My mom is in her 70s so I worried she would have trouble pulling the handle back. Ended up being a non issue pulls back easily someone older or a young child could pull it back 2. How far would it shoot. She has an okay size back yard but its not overly large and I didn't want it to shoot to far or to short. You determine how much power you want it to have based on how far you pull it back. It ended up working perfect for her average size back yard. 3. Would it be easy to load. Just so long as your dog is good about dropping the ball you just push the kannon right over the ball on the ground and it loads which makes it extra easy for my mom. Of course you can load it with the ball in your hand but after a few throws that ball can get pretty disgusting. Added bonus it has a place in the handle to put an extra ball so if you shoot the ball to an area the dog can't get it or you have another dog around thats a ball thief (like my dog) you have a backup at the ready. I would definitely recommend this to anyone with a dog to likes to play catch and if I remember correctly they even have one for small sized balls if you have a smaller dog.Morgan
Playing fetch with my corgi proved to be anything but joyful after a few throws. After developing "tennis elbow" on both right and left elbows, I had given up until I discovered the Hyper K9 Kannon™. Within hours after purchasing the first one, I knew I had to get a backup ASAP. My corgi has never been happier playing fetch! The Kannon™ shoots the ball farther than I've ever been able to throw one by hand. It's great to be able to aim the Kannon™ where I want the ball to go, making it easy to make sure my corgi doesn't get in harms way en route to pick up the ball. My only concern is that the heavy duty rubber band might break at an inopportune time. I bought the backup just in case that would happen. I didn't see any option to order replacement rubber bands so I'm not expecting the Kannon to last more than a year. But, it is a small price to pay to save my elbows while adding a "ton" of joy to my corgi's playtime. Replacement balls are available. These are the best toughest dog toys ever. We have two terriers 1 – parsons Russell that kills any toy in 5 seconds,and leaves the toy as a bag. We have had many of these ruff and tuff toys we still have a whole skunk left, but ears have had a bit of a bashing but the body still whole with stuffing and squeaky in tact, we do have others left with some parts damaged but others still whole but the sweeky a bit flat sounding,which is not a bad thing. We have an 85lb pittie that has an insatiable appetite for fetch, but isn't super great at the release part. We saw these used by a trainer we follow on social media & they are exactly what we needed! We ordered the 1st pair in Feb 2020 & they work precisely as advertised – the teeth "dent" the rings but don't puncture it. We just ordered a 2nd pair because our pup did end up chewing through one – but that was our fault. As advertised, these are NOT a chew toy and they are fairly easily destroyed if you allow them to be used as such. But somehow, they are still durable enough for a game of tug! Our pup is now OBSESSED with his rings! The pair is perfect as he brings one back & immediately drops it when he sees the 2nd one in your hand. Perfect toy for fetch, jumping & tug!Wanda
Best toy for agility and speed! Great if you want your dog to loose some weight or release some energy quickly. I have bought so many toys…and I have to say that the simplicity of this toy is what makes it great. This is my dog's favorite toy and I love it too! If your dog is very smart more likely these rings are perfect for you. Great for bonding and for learning new tricks like jump! Leave it, bring it, drop it, tag, go get it Like the packing says keep the game short so they keep wantig more! My dog loves it because I make it all about speed. For example, she need to bring one ring to me and as soon as she brings it she has to go catch to other! I use excitment and a fast tone on my voice. Once she brings it back I have another ready so she needs to jump and get it. In another interval she needs to tag and leave it and then catch the other in my other hand. You can make this rings as fun as you want! I only have 2 but I think 3 will be better for more game options. I am thinking to buy another one soon. The teeth marks do stay on the rings but it is not a big deal. Sometimes it seems it gets stuck a little in my dogs teeth but it is for a milisecond! And it doesn't seem to bother her really. I actually think that if the rings would be of a harder material most likely dogs wouldn't like them, but maybe they could improve this a little. I have wash them and they have lasted for a long time. Yes there are marks, but it doesn't take away the purpose of the rings! Hope this review helps you!Jim
great dog toy, checks all the boxes: durable, ring allows for long rolls for dog to chase/ grab while still moving (giving him that paw-eye coordination as opposed to picking up a ball that has stopped moving), easy to use/ throw and it FLOATS!!! we often find ourselves at the beach and it always shocks me at how many dog toys do not float (I understand not everyone lives by a body of water, but its just one of those things that all dogs will end up in, so a toy that doesn't float just isn't thinking ahead). my dog is really good at catching Frisbee's but someone once told me that dogs can hurt their legs by landing weird after jumping for a thrown Frisbee, this puller toy is the perfect substitute, you can throw it so it rolls along the ground and the dog can chase it, giving him the same tracking action as a Frisbee, but without him leaving the ground. the toy is also very durable, my dog destroys everything and this is one of the few toys that he really loves that can actually last a while (he loves this thing so much he would chase it into a burning building), it is so durable that we can play tug with it as well, his favorite game to play (tho I try not to too much, even tho he loves to play tug more then anything, the toy will eventually brake and trying to re-teach a dog to drop something after he's come to expect a game of tug to get it from him can be very difficult). Can't recommend this toy enough, get this and get out there and have some fun with you best pal.Beth

Had to write as this toy has been a life changer for our active terrier who is nearly blind and has severe allergies. Most chew toys are a problem for her allergies and most plush/retrieve toys she cannot find or hear. This fill-and-freeze popsicle gives her the special surprise of an icy filling but she's satisfied with it just as well unfilled. It's made of a furniture-friendly rubber material and she can hear where it bumps and lands as she chases it around the room or when we toss it to her. She's a voracious chewer but so far, the toy has only a few shallow teeth marks to show for the many months of fun it's brought to our doggie household!Felicia

I just received this in the mail today and I'm in LOVE! It's so cute and I love that my boy, Jack, can get multiple little toys out of it as he inevitably tears through the layers. The one thing I will say is that the little black spikes are foam and easily are ripped off, which Jack immediately did of course. I caught him quickly but he definitely ate a couple, whoops.
