We inherited my mother-in-law's 16-or-so year old cat. He had a history of throwing up but her vet couldn't find anything wrong. After we'd had him for a while he started throwing up more, stopped eating, and became lethargic. Our vet diagnosed liver failure and was not optimistic, but recommended denosyl, which doesn't require a prescription and is relatively cheap. Ever since the cat's been on denosyl, he's been eating like a horse and is much more lively than his age would suggest. I'd recommend this for anyone whose pet has liver problems. It seems to work best when the cat hasn't eaten for at least 4 hours (preferably more) before we give it, then don't feed him for at least an hour after. My cat has had repeated uti's involving emergency vet visits and a lot of stress. When the antibiotic wears off, the infection returns. I was at Petco on Sunday and saw this product and decided to buy it in case there was another infection. My cat had a crisis 2 days later with very extreme symptoms. I gave her 5 drops and noticed no change. So I did it again in 15 minutes and she began to calm down. Then she sat quietly for awhile and then went upstairs to sleep under my bed for the rest of the day. The next day she acted like nothing had happened. I was amazed! While I am not really one to normally write a review, I research other reviews diligently and thought it was time I started- especially to brag on this product and hopefully help someone else. Case: Mittens is a 3 year old female never with any previous UTI issues, Food: ate frisky crunchies and was happy, Fast forward to 2 months ago- she started with always being wet on her bottom. It kind of threw me off because I thought it could be a problem with her rear and not bladder, it progressed to constant going in litter box and barely having anything come out. Through this time 700. was spent at vet, ultrasounds, urinalysis' , lab testing, all showing nothing but antibiotics were administered as it was obvious something was wrong. The vet was insistent about stress thought I was skeptical as absolutely zero had changed in our household and buying the 50. food just was not an expense I was ready to do at that moment. The antibiotics has slight improvement but never fixed the issue. Mittens also has to be put under aneasthesia every time we go as she is very sweet, but not a good patient. During this time I was also an my witts end not wanting to put her thru another battery of testing and my house issue. In that I mean everywhere she went she would leave wet spots and a terrible smell which simply could not go on. So I went to do what you have done if you are here, online research and came across this product. I ordered it and went to bed as it was late and would be ready for pick up the next morning. I was hopeful and excited that this could be 'it'- a cure. So we picked it up and went to work. I followed dosing as directed for an acute condition as that is what we had. I had to administer via wet food because a syringe simply does not work with her. We did 10 drops every 15 minutes for the first hour and went on as directions said the whole time via food, 2nd day three times a day 10 drops each meal, and 3rd day back to initial dosing of 10 drops every 15 minutes for the first hour and 2 more times that day. I was not seeing the 'immediate result' some people had at that point. I will also say I was feeding her uti proplan wet food only during this time. We started Sunday morning and I did not notice relief until Tuesday evening- We were getting a stream of urine. I was so happy I could cry! Now we are at Thursday and we seem to be almost normal. Absoulutely AMAZING, have patience this stuff works! I am going to continue dosing twice a day and maybe even once a day for prevention going forward. My cat is almost 7yrs of age and never before had any health issues until one day, I saw him spotting in the litter box. He would continuously go in and out, squirt a little urine without covering it, then lick his private area when he was done. This went on throughout the entire day for about two full days. Luckily I scoop his litter every morning so I was able to catch the issue right away. After day 2 of seeing him do this, in which he now had a funny walk and refused to eat or drink anything, I knew it was time to go to a vet. This product literally saved my cats life along with the Blood Sugar gold. I noticed my cat was drinking tons of water, bloated and not walking well due to arthritis. I took him to the vet. Spent 576 dollars to be told he has diabetes, congestive heart failure and arthritis. He is 12 years old and has been a great pet. I could not give him shots twice a day let alone spend a 1000 dollars more in dealing with that and his heart. He has fluid in his chest and lower abdomen. I started my dog on these drops about a month ago, as we were having trouble with uncontrolled high blood sugar. My 9 lb dachshund mix was on 6 units of novolin N twice a day and had blood sugar staying into the 400 consistently. She also has Cushings disease which she had not been treated for. After discussing the possibility of treating her Cushings in hopes that her blood sugar would regulate to a more normal range, I found this product and we decided it was worth a try. My Maltese Poodle, who is 12 years old was diagnosed the beginning of December with Diabetes. My 12 year old chihuahuas liver blood work came back very very high so her vet put her on Denamarin. When we did her follow up blood work 4 months later her numbers tripled. Sadie is getting older and started having bladder problems while she was sleeping. Our veterinarian prescribed Proin to help with the problem. We started with one 50mg pill twice a day at meal time and while it fixed the bladder problem it changed her attitude making her anxious. So the veterinarian said go to half a pill, twice a day. We did but continued to have the same side effects. So we went to 1/4 of a pill twice a day at meal time and are having good success. Her good attitude is back and her bladder problems seem fixed. Our Great Dane has had incontinence for a few years, and from the experience we had with Proin previously for our past dogs, we knew it would work for her as well. However, setting the proper amount for her size and finding a maintainable dosage took a little time and experimentation. She always seemed timid and skittish when she would leak, and she definitely did not want to lie back down in a wet bed. Since we found the proper maintenance dosage, she has been very happy ever since, and we no longer have to see the sad puppy eyes from a big old Great Dane! This is a difficult review for me. While Vetoryl helped my dog in the beginning, she developed some of the negative side effects after being on it for just over a year. She became very lethargic and began to collapse in the floor. She was extremely weak. She had lost about 13 pound in 12 months. I immediately took her to the vet. He took her off Vetoryl and put her on Prednisone which she has now been taking for about 3 months. With the Prednisone, she was Immediately more alert, was less lethargic and her strength improved. She has also began to gain some much need weight. I AM NOT saying not to give your dog Vetoryl, I'm saying to closely monitor your dog for any side effect that may develop the longer your dog is on Vetoryl. My vet said my 9 year old cat's thyroid readings are elevated, and he had begun to cry loudly more often and seemed hungrier. My cat was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism a year ago it was in the beginning stages and the doctor asked me to bring her back in six months and go from there. I have had prostate problems for many years. It started with a high PSA test which changed to an enlarged prostate. I do not like to take prescription medication if I can avoid it so I did a lot of research to find something natural. I found that tests have proven high doses of Saw Palmetto extract works the best, so I started taking it and found within a year my PSA had dropped 4 points. I was very happy. Recently, the company that I was getting it from quit producing it. At the same time, I was offered to try Therabotanics Ideal Prostate Plus Ultra Support Supplement. It claims to be a powerful prostate supplement for men with natural prostate relief from saw palmetto, beta sitosterol, lycopene, zinc, horsetail and vitamin D3. Once I received the Therabotanics Ideal Prostate Plus product I started reading the ingredients. The top 3 ingredients have nothing to do with prostate problems. It has Vitamin D3 11mcg. I take 250mcg a day already for bone and immune health. The next is Zinc 30mg. I take 50mg a day for immune support. And the third main ingredient is Copper 3mg. Not any help for anything. The Saw Palmetto listed on the bottle is mixed with other ingredients and the whole percentage is so low they do not even list the number of mg that is in the capsules. I also looked up the price for this product. The bottle of sixty capsules is very expensive. I was paying about an eighth of the price for a bottle of 200 capsules which each contained 450mg of saw palmetto extract. I am very disappointed in this product. I have seen no relief taking it and the expense is unreal.TXLawman

At time of writing this review I have been taking this supplement for two weeks. I don’t have any medical issues with my bladder or prostate, but at my age I do have the common if I wake up in the night I must get up and visit the bathroom. Also, if I drink anything other than plain water during the day, I do get a noticeable sudden urgency. The big question is have they helped? And I’m going to say yes, they have. With the caveat that I have only been taking them for two weeks, I have noticed a difference. I already had the vitamin D3, Zinc and Copper in my supplement regime so I’m going to put the benefits mostly down to the natural ground plant and bark ingredients. Full disclosure, I’m a great believer in natural over synthetic supplements so seek botanics where I can. They are made with natural ingredients; I personally had no digestive issues with them, and they appear to help. The vitamin and minerals are helpful for other parts of your body too. I have an urgency problem with my bladder that I was hoping this may help. I have researched a bit and found out that Saw Palmetto and Beta Sitoserol have shown some effectiveness with this condition. Ideal Prostate Plus has both of these ingredients. I have noticed that other highly advertised products have one but not the other. I have run the 30 day trial using one bottle to see if there was any difference. I have been careful to give this an honest try and have been drinking large amounts of water to see if there is any change. After one month I can note a slight improvement in that I can feel the need to urinate coming on a bit sooner and offering much better warning than I have experienced lately. I feel more in control. So is it a miracle cure? Not yet but maybe after another bottle the results will be even more noticeable. I suggest you give it a try and see how it effects your body. I think if I continue usage it just might help with my urgency problem. P.S. I don't remember how long I've been ordering the Kidney Support, but it has been many YEARS. My first two kitties died of Kidney Disease, with a side order of Thyroid Disease. My current little Girl was beginning to follow this horrible trend last summer.
