I got this toy for my 70lb lab three(ish) years ago and he loved it. It was his go to toy and got a lot of love and use (essentially every day for years). It finally gave up a few weeks ago so it is time to buy a new one. It would take my fairly smart dog 30-45 minutes to eat a cup and a half of food. This Mr. Bill toy is bigger than I expected which was a nice surprise. I also expected a wheezing/squeaky sound to come from it, but no it does indeed have a voice box and it shouts "OH NOOOOOOOO!" when my dog bites on his belly. Its durable, my baby usually destroys toys in a day (poor lambchop didn't have a chance), but she loves this one and carries it around and it has survived a week so far! The ONLY downside (not really a downside, more just an FYI) is if you are annoyed by repeated sounds or phrases, the OH NOOOOOOOO! non stop for 3 hours or so is enough to drive you insane. haha! I actually have this product in a slightly different style, but same idea. Instead of the hedgehogs and stump its a barn with little piggies. With that out of the way, I have to say my dog really enjoys this. If the rating was only based on my puppy I would give them a 4 star, but because its just too cute it gets an extra star! I liked that this chew toy was durable and had some weight to it, but my dog doesn’t play with the toy at all. I believe this is the toy he could not “destroy” and didn’t want anything to do with it. It did have a rubbery smell, so he might have been turned off by that, but it was a waste of money for me. I would recommend this chew stick to anyone with larger dogs that have a big bite, because I’m sure it definitely let’s them enjoy themselves more.katrina.s

This is an amazing product, tough, good size & well made. Mabel my dog took to it right away….and then…..when it wouldn't break up or fall apart – she wasn't that impressed. HOWEVER – as her other toys are getting ruined & chucked, there is less choice for her & she is having another "go" at the GoughNut. So not overly satisfying for her at this early stage – but VERY satisfying as an owner. I can see that in no time – this will be her only chewing toy remaining & it will last. Currently I use it as fetch play with her & she very happy – and it will become part of her routine in a short while I think. GREAT VALUEErica

This thing is built for wear and tear. It's soft fabric, but it's like it's got a built in chewable layer that prevents it from being destroyed in less than a minute. We've got three power chewers, and in over a week, they've only managed to chew through the string loop at the top. It squeaks and my dogs go crazy. Definitely a good buy! My dog (50lb border collie mix) loved this, but the seams split within 30 minutes. He's not a big chewer – the Bark! brand plush toys we've given him usually last about a month before he gets to the stuffing. I picked this up because the squeeker, while not silent, is much quieter, and the chew guard sounded good. I brought it home and let him play with it while I put away my other purchases. He'd already ripped the seams by the time I was done! I contacted the manufactorer for replacement. We'll see if they follow through.

We changed to a large breed puppy food and it doesn't fit as well in the slots, it is better designed for smaller food. Product is very durable, and has 18 slots to put food in.
