Kami is a huge hit at our house with the four and five year old and their friends. The kids can walk the kitty and clean up after her like a real animal and they love that she poops. I think it is funny but my two daughters are very excited to play at first. They fed the dog with foods, walked her around and tried to clean up her poops. It’s very clever actually and easy enough for little fingers to manage. The music is be-boppin and speeds up when you push it faster, and works on a motion detector of some sort. I only wish for the love of parents that it had an on off switch. If you have a little someone that loves to take new “pets” to bed with them, this will keep playing music as long as there is a little bit of movement. That is the only reason I gave it four stars. We received our NEW FURREAL FRIENDS®: Get Up & Go-Go, My Walkin' Pup™ free from Hasbro, thank you Hasbro! This puppy has been my daughter's new best friend since she saw the box. She has wanted a puppy, but due to her allergies we have not gotten her a real one, so this was a great treat for her! The first thing she did was name her puppy "sparkle." This toy takes four C batteries, which for this promotion came with. The quality of the puppy is great. A very solid toy. Also, pretty realistic for a toy puppy. The fur is super soft and great for cuddling with a young girl. The puppy comes with a collar and a leash (which is non-removable), this is the device for walking with the puppy. On the end of the leash there is the handle with the button for walking the puppy. You push the button and the puppy walks/barks/talks (of course in puppy language). On the top of the puppy's head there is a bow, which if it is tapped the puppy sits down. The instructions said that the puppy responds to voice commands, although not super clear with what commands it responds to. This puppy came with an optional application which can be downloaded to your phone or tablet. The application is free. This really optimizes the interaction that the child can have with the puppy. The puppy just has to sit close to the phone/tablet and they connect via blue tooth. There are numerous games that you can play with the puppy with the application and the puppy with interact according to what is being done. Very cute and intuitive application. It does make a bit of an annoying sound of the "talking" between the puppy and application. This puppy has played with the girls for hours. We received this product as a review from Hasbro. From the perspective of my 4yr old daughter this was a hit. This toy has gotten more teeth brushed and tea times that any of her other toys. Taking it out of the box and getting it ready was a breeze. She quickly caught on on how the buttons on the leash worked to control it. For the first few weeks I just let her play with just the toy and then showed her the Iphone app for this toy. It was like getting a new toy all over again. Initially she thought it was just a game and did not understand that it interacts with the actual dog. She still has not caught on to it yet but the app has kept her entertained. Her parents get a kick out of how when you wash the dog in the app the FURREAL Dog starts getting upset and makes noises to show it This toy also moves around by rollers, it does not walk. NOTE: I received this product free from Bzzagent to honestly review. Though I might not have sought out such a toy on my own, I was excited to see how my four year old child would interact with it, and she was overjoyed at its arrival. The toy is even cuter in person, and well made. The fur is thick and soft, so the puppy is cuddly, her eyes appear almost bright and "shiny" and the mouth and nose look quite realistic, all things considered. The leash walking is fun and she seemed to respond quite well to the leash control button and moved fine on tile and carpet. The tail wag is very much like a real dog's, as are the head tilt and the playful open mouth expression. Sometimes the pup will also spontaneously charge forward on its own. My little one discovered that one cool thing the pup can do is be "stood up" on her back legs and then flip back down to the ground on her front paws. It would be nice if the toy could react to simple voice commands or to hugs, or run purposefully towards objects placed in front of it. However, as she is, there is plenty of room for creative play, such as running doggy daycare or a training obstacle course for pups (which is what my child and her friends have done, among other things). The variety of sounds she makes (from whimpering to dog singing to loud belches) is entertaining but random. One issue I have is with sound-based interaction. The toy is supposed to react to hand clapping by moving forward, but this seems to be a bit spotty and can be a little disappointing for smaller children when it doesn't work. Also, it's advertised as being compatible with a downloadable interactive app. My issue with the app is that only about 50% of the time does the dog respond to it in any way indicating that they're really interacting– it's supposed to make sounds in response to activities, such as getting a bath or being fed, but the dog just continues making random, unrelated noises. I'm aware that the phone must be placed close to the dog (and loud enough) for it to respond, but this has been very hit and miss. This could be a phone issue, I suppose, but there is nothing wrong with my phone or its volume. My daughter still enjoys playing with the app sometimes with her puppy next to her, and apps are definitely not a top priority in my book for a toy given to (in this case) a preschooler, but if I were paying good money for this toy, I would not have been very impressed with this function. Two months out, the toy has definitely not been abandoned in our household. The toy has seen daily use and still looks brand new. Battery life is great. This seems to be a very durable, quality-made product. Given a few limitations, I don't think that I would pay the current "going rate" for this toy (maybe the price will drop over time?), but it has been an enjoyable companion, and my little one certainly likes her.bluepoodles

I have 2 big dogs and I walk them everyday. My little one always wants to help but sometimes they are a bit hard to handle. Now with her walk along pet puppy and leash she can walk her dog with me. Sooooo Cute! I bought this for my daughter last year and she still plays with it! This little pig is so adorable! It makes the cutest little noises and it moves it's nose when you feed it. it walks really well on it's leash, it doesn't tip over. It's definitely one of her favorite toys! The only bad thing about it is the soft material attracts every piece of pet hair on the floor and it doesn't wipe off with just tour hand, you have to use a wet wipe to keep it clean. Still 10/10 recommend for any child that loves animals!!cweber
So cute!! Just like having your own cartoon version of a pet piglet to look after. It trots around and wrinkles it’s nose and can be walked on a lead. My daughter absolutely fell in love with this pigee and treats it like her own personal pet. Yes – it goes everywhere with her! I am to the point where I am tired of toys being made without thinking. This is a very cute, very sturdy toy. However, teach your child not to pull or lift up the pig using the leash. The latch is not secure. Then the material it is made out of is the worse! Who thought of that type of material??? I have hard wood floors that I am constantly sweeping/dusting just because. But whatever is on the floor, it will attach itself to this material. It is a magnet for dust, dirt, sand, hair, animal hair, whatever. For a toy that is made to walk on the floor/ground, it should not have been made of this material. So taking it outside, on a sidewalk is a definite no. And it’s so cute and your child will want to take it everywhere. I kept wiping it off with a Clorox wipe. When I tried to dry it using a paper towel, it doesn’t wipe smooth. Then the tiny pieces of the paper towel stuck to the material. I will be sending this review to the company. Every baby boomer remembers the Shari Lewis show with Lamb Chop and the Sock Monkey. I have a dear, dear friend whose husband was dying of cancer. Someone sent him Lamb Chop, and I sent him the Sock Monkey. She spent about one year of her life living in St. Louis, MO to be near him. He died 5 years ago and she married a childhood friend. Adorable and ENORMOUS!! I didn't really look at the size very carefully when I was ordering this, though. Our German Shepherd absolutely LOVES these Lamb Chop toys and he has gone through about a dozen of them in the smaller versions (medium sized and small sized.) He spends a day or two carrying each of them around (when they're new) and squeaking them like crazy while they're still intact, and then moves on to tearing them apart to get to the squeaker. He then plays fetch (all by himself) with the squeaker – tossing it up in the air, etc. He also likes to cart around the "carcass" and play with that until we end up finding various Lamb Chop "parts" (head, leg, etc.) all over the house. We just throw them away quietly, little by little/piece by piece. This is a great dog toy, but if your dog likes to rip the stuffing out of them, then be prepared on this version as there is a LOT of it!! 🙂 I would buy it again in a heartbeat but my husband has had enough stuffing clean-up to last him a while… Still – this one is HIGH quality and we give our highest recommendations!Shadowcat

The product's design and styling are quite good. Our puppy enjoyed using it and was genuinely engaged. Having four settings of complexity meant it would hopefully be able to "grow" with her. The problem came in with the materials chosen. The entire outside is rubberized which is great in theory as it means less noise and less wear and tear on floors/furniture. However our puppy quickly started working at the rubberized ring around the food opening which is understandable. "Food is in there. I can either shake it out or just root for it."–a very natural dog response. It felt like too much thought was put into how the product would look in photos and not enough practical testing was performed. Especially for a pet item.Eric E.
Got this to replace my dogs Kong Wobbler. My dog had his wobbler for years and it held up great, I just didn’t like the color (it’s bright red; there’s no color options). I was excited when I saw this toy, it fits the aesthetic of my home. I also liked that there were difficulty settings on this toy (something the kong doesn’t have) but for almost $60 I expected it to hold up for more than 10 minutes… my dog isn’t even destructive, but he somehow chipped off the rubber around the treat dispenser. The rubber makes it much quieter than the plastic Kong wobbler but I can’t trust my dog to play with it without me supervising which defeats the purpose.. I fill it with treats when I have to leave him to help with his separation anxiety. Can’t imagine how this would hold up with a destructive dog. Needs to be made out of tougher material if my sweet guy managed to damage it. Looking for The Game 2.0 made from better material.
This product was great. It's the first puzzle toy that our puppy has interacted with and it took him a little while to figure it out at first (5-10 minutes). He was initially unsure about the product, thinking it was more of a chew toy. The following few days, he's gotten better at figuring out how to dispense food from The Game. I've moved it from Level 1 to Level 2 and he seems to be pretty proficient at it now. I'm thinking of moving to Level 3 and am curious about how it will change the interaction. Overall our puppy is SO HAPPY when he sees me take this product out. He can't wait to play with it! I only wonder how long it will last – the outer silicone shell has some pretty deep bite marks and gashes so far. My only wish is that the company sell a replacement top so that it's easy to purchase new parts if the original one gets destroyed (and to mix and match colors).Raymond S.

This was a gift for my daughter and was surprised at the size of it. It has an unboxing feature where it opens the box itself which was quite fun to watch and heightened the anticipation of my daughter. It has some good features and the one where it "talks" back to you is quite good. When we got it out the box there was a small patch on its head where it looks to have ribbed in the box and the fur is a bit thinner there. I bought this toy because I saw a friend had it for her daughter, I instantly fell in love. Went to Barnes and Nobles the same day to get one for my baby who is learning to crawl. Thought this would be great for her. It is very cute! But I think I got a defected one because it doesn't roll. It sounds like it wants to turn the wheels but gets stuck, almost like the batter is dying, which isn't since there's brand new batteries in there. I threw out the receipt and had already thrown out the packaging it came in so I wasn't able to exchange. My baby loves it! Just wish it did what it's actually suppose to.Bella.
