My labrador loves these. The outside covers are washable. I have hung the covers to dry and they dry fast since microfiber does. I have also hosed down the foam. That takes longer to dry in the shade since most foams don't like direct sunlight. But it works. Eventually she digs a hole in the cover so I flip the foam inside and used the bottom on the top. They fit perfectly under the table or in her extra large crate. I haven't closed the door in 3 years, but she still likes her space.busterlily
I got this for our 9yo GSD who has until now always just considered a folded blanket his "bed". He wouldn't lay on anything the slightest bit pillowy or fluffy. I did have to coax him onto it the first time, but right away after that he started going and laying down there on his own, even when we were in another room (he usually just wants to hang with us). It’s way better than I expected. The XL size is large enough for my 84 lb yellow lab and 103 lb German Shepard. The dogs love it! It’s plush, soft and comfortable. Loved it when we first got it. But was really looking forward to washing it and seeing if it held up. Washed it with zip on. Then air dried just in case the dryer was too hot. The fur clumped together like twists and it lost its fluffiness. Tried combing it out with a dog rake and it looked less clumpy but does not feel at all like it did new. I like this bed; my dogs like this bed. In fact, i bought two for my two dogs. I keep them in front of the fireplace, where they look quite nice. There are only 2 things i don’t like about them: (1) they slide on a hardwood floor, which i think makes the dogs feel insecure on it. I added some non-stick, stick-on things to the back which are supposed to be washable (we’ll see); and (2) i have to wash mine at least once a week as the white color shows everything and my dogs love to take chewies, snacks, etc. to it. I bought this bed for my old arthritic dog because she needs better support in her old age. I would agree this bed provides the needed support but the foam barely fits inside the cover. After washing (which is required often because it's black), it is a two person job to get the foam back in. Because it barely fits, we have RIPPING AT THE SEAMS both on the top at the bolster cushion and bottom near the zipper. I have sent pictures to this company and they refuse to acknowledge that this damage is caused by POOR MANUFACTURING and not my dog. These beds are not great, they're AMAZING….. They are literally the best purchase you can make as far as a dog's bed. Unless your dog just destroys their beds, these are perfect. You can wash them whenever you want, they're comfortable, my dogs absolutely love them. I have two black labs and a white German Shepherd, So I have all kinds of hair everywhere. And these beds catch a lot of that hair. It's awesome that I can go outside, shake them out, and then throw them in the washer and they're done. I had purchased this bed three years ago for my first German shepherd now we have a new puppy and I purchased a second bed. The memory foam has held up very well and its a nice thick material. Also the cover on the bed is removable for laundering you can even unzip and remove the pillow area. It is shipped rolled up vacuum packed so once you open you will have to wait an entire day not just a few hours like they say for it to plump up to full thickness. I bought 2 of these beds for my chihuahuas, and they both seem happy! When shopping for a new dog bed, I wanted something with a bolster type edge to prevent the dogs from ending up on the floor, and also to be like a little pillow to rest their head. Secondly, I wanted something with a removable cover that can be thrown in a washing machine. This checks both. My main complaint, however, is that the memory foam didn't really 'plump up' much after unboxing. The memory foam comes rolled up very tightly, and the package insert said to let the foam rest a few days to allow it to reshape (I think it said 24-48 hours, but not sure). I waited 3 days.. and nothing! So I tried gently blowing a lightly warm hairdryer… nothing. I set the foam underneath a heating blanket for about an hour… nothing. My dogs don't weigh much, so the memory go is ok for them. But I feel like a larger, heavier dog would completely flatten such a thin, wimpy foam mattress.Amanda

I absolutely LOVE how this bed looks! The sizing chart was pretty spot-on (I know it's hard to offer dimensions on something that's not perfectly rectangular). My dog loves it and uses it all the time, but I wonder how many dogs would be wary of it since it makes "crackly" noises when they walk on it. It's easy to vacuum, too, which is huge in my book. It's very lightweight, which is fine, except if I didn't have it wedged up against a chair (on a rug) it would slide all over. My old girl is 13, and drags her feet, so when she'd try to get on it, it'd move and shift, so I moved it to a place where it will stay put for her. In some of the images online it shows the bed on hard floors; that bed wouldn't stay put for 2 seconds! Also, and this isn't the bed's fault: since I got the cowhide version, that means my oily German shepherd leaves oil marks on the white parts, so of course it needs to be washed far more often than someone without an oily-furred dog (e.g., my parents' golden). We LOVE these!!! We bought these for a little bit different of a use. Our 14 year old yorkies both have blown-out knees, but one loves to act like he's 2. He has fallen off the bed one too many times now from rolling around when he's excited. A knee gives out when he stands up and sideways/backwards/you name it, he goes. This is a really great dog bed/bedside runner. I have a "not so mini" mini Aussie who always sleeps next to me on the floor, despite the fact he has a nice dog bed over in the corner. I got the runner so he could still sleep next to me but not be have to be on the hard floor. He wasn't too impressed at first but after a few times of testing it out he is sprawled out on it all the time when he's not up to something. It looks amazing too and a super great first few steps in the morning when you get out of bed. The one ehh part is that it comes with what is claimed to be a water proof cover that goes over the mattress before you put the cover on. It is not so water proof. A week in the younger pup had an accident. I pulled the covers off to wash to find the accident had made it through the water proof barrier and onto the foam. I had to work to get that out so the smell didn't loiter and prevent the pups from wanting to use it. As for cleaning.. that was super easy. The accident stain washed right out of both the rug and the mattress cover with one wash. I washed per instructions on the site and hung on the cloths line in the breeze to dry. I did run a wide tooth dog comb through the cover fur after it dried. Looked just like new when put back on the mattress. Over all I love it, the pups love it. The only reason I can't give the 5 star is due to the water proof barrier leaking through. :/Tina K.
I bought this bed a year and a half ago for my older dog. He loved it! But he recently became incontinent and the cover of the bed DID NOT protect the memory foam inside. That claim of being waterproof is the primary reason I bought this rather expensive bed. I knew from experience that older, neutered male dogs often suffer incontinence. Unfortunately, the foam is smelly and stained and the company isn't standing behind their advertised claim because I bought it 18 months ago nor are they able to replace the foam even though i was willing to pay for it. FWIW, the liner and cover washed up fine. But I'm not happy to have a stinky bed that cost $240 with no available options for continued use.S S.

I was a first time buyer and ordered the PupRug Animal Print Memory Foam Dog Bed in the tiger print. My first order was delivered but due to the incompetence of UPS and lack of giving a **** about their customers’ packages, my first delivery was stolen. I notified Paw.com and without any hesitation or long drawn out claim, they immediately sent out a whole new bed that I previously ordered but didn’t receive. That alone just wowed me and made me feel actually valued as a customer. The product came rolled up in a long box. The foam pad mattress for the bed was easy to unroll and got to its full size within a couple hours of unboxing. It’s genius that not only is the animal print cover easy to remove, but it has an underside with a bunch of rubber dots to help the bed from slipping. Now the actual top of the bed with animal print is actually made to look like real fur which I wasn’t even expecting. The faux fur they put on it doesn’t even seem to shed an or lose fiber, and I’ve even been on the bed myself wearing black and still no shedding. The size of the tiger print mattress cover actually is close to the size of an actual tiger so it almost looks believeable. I haven’t had to wash it as of yet but taking the cover off and putting it back on is super simple. I’m just going to make sure I read any washing and drying instructions beforehand. Another cool thing about this particular dog bed is that you are able to purchase other types of covers so you can change out the look or just have an extra cover while you are washing your other one. BTW I don’t even have a dog, I ordered this bed for a mattress topper for my pullout couch and use it as that and a rug for the floor for when it’s a couch, and I sleep comfortably on the dog bed either on the pull out or floor. So even human tested it gets two thumbs up from me. It really gives my studio some extra charm and character to it and is totally amazing if your a fan of tigers or tiger stripes!Corey E.

We absolutely love the way it looks in our living room and all of my dogs love it also. I originally bought it for my 13 year old dog but the two younger dogs are always trying to steal it from him. When my senior dog lays on it I notice that his hips seem to hurt him less than when he lays on the couch or floor. He is able to get up off of it much easier than the couch or floor as well. Usually he lays close to me while I sleep but lately I have been finding him sleeping on the puprug every night. Overall I'm super happy and would love to eventually get another one for my bedroom as well as a few other products. The price is very much worth it in my opinion.Shaylina R.
Amazing bed for my 70lb Doberman! Big enough for my 10lb Maltese to cuddle in comfort with her too!! She has hip problems and this seems to help her toss and turn less due to pressure points. My dogs and I loved this bed, but it didn't even last a year. I feel like for the price it should hold to it's word. It was so comfy even my kids loved laying on it, it looked great and people couldn't believe it was a dog bed. However my 9 year old doggie who struggles with a bladder issue, accidentally peed on it. It was soaked all the way through, so the water-proof cover is worthless. I did everything it said for the memory foam of baking soda and stuff but it did nothing for it. The only thing that came clean was the cover which I was able to put in the washer. The memory foam is completely useless. I even tried to us a furniture shampooer on it with not luck. So if your dog has a bladder issue and you get this bed, put an extra protectant between the cover and memory foam.

This bed is very well made and my dog loves it! I have a 80lb lab mix who is starting to have hip issues. He likes to stretch out. The reviews/size guide indicated he would fit the large. I got the XL because he is pretty sprawly in our bed (we have a king). It is perfect for him. If your dog sleeps curled up, you can go with the large but for someone who stretches out this was perfect and the bed itself is not ridiculously oversized.AJPP
I had purchased the older version of this bed a few years ago (not from here thank gawd) it was amazing went to find another and found this which seems to be updated version. Well FINALLY got it (tractor supply cheap and doesnt pay for wknd delivery) the cover is so rough and not soft at all and what its sad is the arms are not attached.(so i could have planned for the extra space would have been nice to know. as much money as this costs as i first time customer i will be a last time customer.TC95
I have been through numerous beds and this one by far is the best. I was looking for something that wouldn't wear down and get flattened from use within mths. I was also looking for a waterproof liner as our Dane sometimes has accidents at night. This bed is just like a human mattress and the foam is lined to keep accidents out. Many beds have uncomfortable material that is used for the waterproofing, this bed has regular material for comfort where the dog lays and has a separate soft layer of waterproofed material around the foam mattress. Both can be taken off easily and washed. I ordered a Medium, and I'm pretty sure I got a Large. It's bigger than the Medium size bed, and since it's for my kitten, I'm really hoping he grows into it! I have this exact same bed in a medium size that I purchased years ago, and the foam in that one is a LOT thicker than the foam in the one I received from Groupon. I'm not sure if that's a change in production/quality by Furhaven products, but I do wish the foam was thicker, especially for such a large bed. My kitten seems to like it, so I'm keeping it, even though it's HUGE for him.
My two dogs, who are very particular about laying on blankets and pillows, both gravitated to this bed as soon as I put it out for them. They love the combination of the orthopedic bed with the soft and fuzzy plush covering on it and will stay there for hours, when they used to only curl up on the couch with a blanket with a human. Their immediate satisfaction with the bed was a very pleasant surprise and I cannot stress enough how picky my dogs are about where/what they lay on and how much they love this bed. I ordered this after my 60lb Golden girl refused to leave my sister’s Golden’s bed over the holidays. My sister told me where she got it and I ordered my girl one immediately! It is a nice thick bed with a very soft cover. I got the beige/cream color, which has a little bit more yellow tinge to it than I’d like, but it still matches our home decor & her hair color the best out of the options. I got the Jumbo size which gives her plenty of room to sprawl out when she wants. I love that it has a little height on the sides for when she wants her head elevated. I haven’t needed to wash it, but the cover does come off, so I know it’s an option (but can’t attest to how well it holds up to a wash).CSally9

Not sure why but they're two small dogs and prefer to share one big bed their last one was soft and fluffy this one is harder and maybe that's it. I had been looking for a large dog bed for a while and saw this giant bed for our Bernese Mountain dog, who liles to stretch out when he lies down, but would hang over the sides of his old beds because they were never quite wide enough!
