Top Paw Dog Toy For Sale (Jan 2023 Update)

Lily, my Pittie rescue, just loves her Zogoflex dog toy, and won't share it AT ALL with her brother or sister, which has caused a little tiff or two in the house, so I'm going to have to break down and buy two more of these for them! But that's okay, because they're a great, fun, engaging dog-treat toy for your dog, to be sure. The way you stuff your chosen treat into them makes it a little bit challenging for your dog, even a champion, intelligent chewer like my 2-year-old pittie, to get to the treat, so it's going to take a while for your doggo to work their way to the prize, trust me! And if you put something soft like peanut butter, all the better! I did try that, since this is dishwasher-safe, and it provided Lily with about an hour of entertaining licking. (Make sure you're up for THAT licking sound in the background!) The only thing I do not like about this toy – and it's minor – is that the rubbery plastic substance on the outside of it is SO STICKY that every single particle of dust or tiny hair on or around your dog will instantly stick to it, it does not matter how clean you think you get it. And NO AMOUNT of washing or rinsing will clean it because the instant you touch a paper towel or regular towel to it, fibers from THAT rub off onto the toy! It's aggravating for ME personally, but it may not bother you! That's the only thing that bothered me; otherwise, Lily had a great time with this; it's very engaging and you can tell a lot of thought went into the design, for sure. DO NOTE, however, that if you have a breed of dog that is flatter in the snout (bulldog, Pekinese, etc., you know who you are 🙂 think twice about this toy, as the "cup" part of this toy is deeper than it appears here and the dog needs to have at least an average to longer "nose" or snout to be able to reach the treat. I'm not sure that is mentioned in the product description. But assuming your dog's nose is up for the hunt, go for it; I do not think you will be disappointed!hotflashvickie

Look, I'm going to be honest here, I bought mine off Amazon at a higher price and am salty about it – HOWEVER, this is thing is better than the Kong Classic by an absolute load. Kongs can take a lot of time for dogs to get used to and when they do, they might not get everything out. Not an issue here. It's got raised bits in the middle to add the challenge, freeze your dogs brekkie/dinner for them when you're heading out and need even more challenge, and even with all that, your dog clean this thing out. Weird, grey Kong paste is a thing of the past. Also, The width of these things means that even the most determined of deep-throating dogs won't choke on them. 10/10. Our labs are LOVING their Toppls! Toppls are easy to fill and clean, and nothing gets trapped inside like sometimes happens with Kongs. The “fins” at the bottom hold mini carrots and cookies. We fill them up with leftover veggies or fruit, pumpkin purée, yogurt, or cottage cheese, and top with blueberries or small dog treats. We freeze them to make the treats last a little longer. They also work if you fill them with moistened kibble, but it doesn’t hold a whole meal’s worth. . I was a little concerned our dogs would chew through the material when I first got the Toppls, but that material is tough! So glad we discovered these.SeeSpotShop

I bought the small toppls and my two cavaliers love them. I've used it at dinner time with soft foods and some chopped up pieces of prime100 and it kept them busy for a good 7-ish minutes (which is much longer than the few seconds it usually takes them to practically inhale their food). I love that it can be used with kibble as well as a treat dispenser (although you need to buy two different sized ones to do this). Overall very impressed, but I would recommend waiting until they're on sale to buy.smp

These are amazing. We're in the process of diagnosing some GI issues with our 8 month puppy, and she's on a very limited diet and can't have any treats, chews or bones. It's a terrible age to not be able to give anything but prescription food. She can't be trusted with soft toys or rope toys, and has no interest in kongs or other rubber things. These are perfect for keeping her busy. We pack her kibble and some wet food in them and freeze them. They take her a good 30 minutes or more to finish, and she has yet to damage one. Plus, they're super easy to clean. I just throw them in the dishwasher!Michelle

We have all three colors of large jive balls for our very destructive goldendoodle chewers! The jive ball is a win win at our house! Every other toy does not last a day. WESTPAW has stellar customer service and I tell everyone I know about this company. I highly recommend the jive ball. IF they had more toys as strong as that ball I would buy them all. From the moment Belle’s jive ball got here it’s been her go-to ball. Belle, who is a registered wrecking ball, destroys or eviscerates every toy (if you consider my Furnature a toy) we’ve introduced to her. Not the jive. Our trainer, Marty Strausbaugh of Pawsitive Training, suggested your company and specifically the jive ball. And boy I’m glad he did. I confess I use it in the house when the weather is inclement. I bowl in across the living room thru the dining area into the kitchen over and over and over again. I wish I had a video to show but I can’t bowl and photo at the same time. I’m including a picture of Belle, the Vizsla wrecking ball, just so you know what she looks like. Our other dog, Rhett Butler, is content with tennis balls for dogs, but Belle takes the toupees off of them and eats the rubber. I have an American Staffordshire Terrier and an American Pitbull Terrier. As other owners of these breeds can likely attest they can pretty much destroy anything short of steel and concrete. I purchased all sorts of toys for my pups and nothing lasted more than ten minutes before having to take it away and through it in the trash due to being torn to pieces or in the process of. I bought toys from Kong, Supper Chewer, Bully Make and others. Every toy except for the standard Kong Cone and a rubber soda can made it. My wife found West Paw and I gave them a shot. These toys are fantastic! They have lasted for months! They are so good that I can actually let them play with these unattended. Take my word for it, if you have a doggo that can chew through anything then these are the toys you need. My two dogs loved Wilson and enjoy playing with him. I'm only giving the toy three stars for a couple of reasons. One, I bought it because the description said it was durable and a tough toy. Many of the reviews were positive, so I gave it a try. Within about 20+ minutes of playing with this toy, my golden mix had put a hole in it and pulled out the squeaker. In addition to that, my Irish setter puppy would like to pull off and eat the green fuzzy. If your dogs don't damage stuffed toys, they would love this one. My Queensland Heeler, Xena, wore her first Zisc out! I bought a glow in the dark one, but never played at night. When she wore the other one out, I bought an orange one and a blue one, so they would show up. The glow in the dark one turned kind of brown in the dirt and got lost lots of times. We live on acreage. Anyway, thank you for a great product. It's durable enough for her and the size is perfect. If she picks it up from the ground, she paws at it and folds it in half like a taco and brings it to me! When she wears out these two, I will certainly buy another two!Darlene B.

I first saw this product at the dog park and was interested in finding a frisbee for my blue healer that would NOT cause friction like the "soft bite floppy disc" we have been using. This friction cause by the nylon weave files her cannine teeth and because she loves frisbee so much we play 5 to 7 days a week for excercise. I have taught over 300 plus dogs over the past few years frisbee with this "soft bite" mentioned above and figured when I saw this frisbee by called Zisc by West Paw Design…I thought it would do well since the guy who was tossing it to his dog let me try it….It does fly well…but, because of its heavy weight and square edge….the dogs have a very very low percentage of catches because this Zisc "bounces" right out of their mouth upon impact during the catch…unless the dog catches it with the perfect angle…speed…etc. My dog is an AMAZING athlete and can catch the "soft bite" nylon fabric frisbee no matter how it is throw…she even flips backwards if the wind catches it and take it back….but, with the Zisc if the wind catches it and takes it back then the Zisc drops like a heavy anvil and hits the dogs mouth with too much force. Also, due to its design it is difficult for the dog to pick up on firm surfaces. This frisbee lost its luster within 20 minutes my dog did not want to play with it. I tried again the next day and the same thing happened my dog made several attempts to catch it and due to the low percentage of successful catches…she would drop the Zisc and walk away from it….which is absolutely unheard of with my blue healer…this dog will play and retrieve until my arm wears out. My dog and I tried the KONG one finally after having problem with the Zisc….the Kong one is shaped better…fly's better….at she is able to catch it without it bouncing out of her mouth….KONG offers a smaller thinner version for puppies which is the one she seems to like the best…it is lighter and more supple and she is back to making dramatic aerial catches again. Maybe it is due to the fact that she has a smaller mouth then a lab or a golden and maybe this Zisc works better with a bigger dog with a larger more powerful mouth….my healer is only 45 lbs…so that is something to consider. I noticed personally throwing the Zisc that the outer edge bends too much during my throw and when the dogs siliva gets on it…it tends to slip out. I thing the material it is made out of is only "semi" durable because I bought one of the balls too and my other dog…Aussie Sheperd took little chunks out of it within 10 minutes of playing and chewing on it. I have NO AFFILIATION with KONG…but, I find their material to be way more durable, but only in that snowman shape original toys…..that's my opinion and my experience…good luck finding the right toy for your dog. My lab fell in love with this frisbee! It flies super well even in harsh winters. She goes crazy just at the sight of it and would fetch that thing as many times as I can throw it. She loves to fold it in half and run around with what I call "big lips" or shake it around and teach it who's boss. I believe the squeaky texture of the rubber is what does it, like a good french poutine, the secret is the squeaky cheese curds. After about 6 – 7 months of daily play (maybe half hour to an hour) she does manage to break through the centre and over the course of a week she will end up ripping the centre apart. This does affect the flight capabilities but she seems oblivious to its degraded state and runs around wearing it like a crown or a horse bit. I decided to try the Love it Guarantee but being in Canada this usually means some strings attached. Sent in my claim and within a couple weeks I got a new frisbee in the mail, no duty fees nothing. Great work West Paw! I had gone out and bought a new one in the mean time (the $25 – $30 is well worth the months of play my lab gets out of it) but then lost that in one of the massive snow falls we had (wish I had the glow in the dark ones but can't find them in stock anywhere!) so I went out and bought another! So now I have 2 and with any luck once the snow melts I'll find that third one if no one gets to it first! I also have the Hurly and a Tizzy which I love to fill with peanut butter and ground up kibble and stick it in the freezer and then let her lick and chew for an hour or so (especially with the closed/locked tentacles). And for Xmas we gave her bestie who is 50% her size the small frisbee so they can chase their own. Her bestie is a ball hound but balls are horrible in winter as they disappear easily in the snow, but she has been super attached the frisbee since she got it too. They say you can have an item replaced but if you no longer have your purchase information your out of luck if your pooch does destroy a toy like our situation. Otherwise the other toys are great. My pup, Charley, is obsessed with this toy since the day we got it. Charley loves to play fetch out in the yard. You can't walk into the yard without her dropping this toy at your feet asking for you to play. It's not made as a chew toy but it's strong enough you can use to play tug with when she brings the toy back when playing fetch. The center hole is great because it helps her pick the toy up easier too vs a regular frisbee toy.Shirley

My dogs absolutely loved them! To pieces. Literally to pieces. I have a 3 year old lab and a 2 and a half year blue heeler. They both had them torn into pieces in two days. It's a great Frisbee if your dogs don't use as tug toys or chew on them! They fly great! Not recommended for dogs that love to destroy toys. Because they will! This is a great toy. My dog enjoys it a lot. It is the size of a tennis ball. The outside has a durable rubber layer. The inside is a combination of hard plastic and softer plastic. When the dog squeezes the ball from a certain angle it sounds like the crunch of a water bottle. Any dogs who enjoy playing with water bottles/water bottle toys will definitely like this ball. Because part of the ball core is solid and part is soft, the bounce is unpredictable…which adds to the fun.Junebug

I have used these balls for a long time in my small chucking for my 2 dogs. Like them a lot. The only problem with this order is that I specifically said I wanted ALL PINK balls. When the order arrived I received no pink balls, but blue and green instead. Called Entirely Pets and was told they were out of pink. They should have reached out to me to see if I still wanted blue and green balls, which I did not. Told me I could return them. I'm not driving to the PO and don't know where FedEx is around here, which is what they said I should do. They instead gave me a $10 credit which I may or may not ever use again. I think Entirely Pets should have sent me pink balls when they came in stock or asked if I would accept a substitute.Lacie

First off my dog has a weird obsession with hedgehogs. I don't know why, but he loves them and has every hedgehog toy that probably exists. He also has a weird obsession with toys that we say "have homes". So like all the Zippypaw toys that are toys within a toy like this we refer to them as having a home(and yes by we I mean my dog and me). So, it's always where are your hedgehogs and their home. He loves to pull the hedgehogs out, and take care of them like they're his babies(he's weird). Then he likes that we can put them back in their home so that his hedgehog babies are safe. I actually have this product in a slightly different style, but same idea. Instead of the hedgehogs and stump its a barn with little piggies. With that out of the way, I have to say my dog really enjoys this. If the rating was only based on my puppy I would give them a 4 star, but because its just too cute it gets an extra star! Unfortunately one of the squeakers in the pigs is already broken (and we haven't had it very long) which is unfortunate, but not really a big deal. my little guy likes to carry the whole barn around and shake it until a pig flies out. The little stuffed animals are the perfect size & the heavy furry fabric makes them more durable. She doesn't play with it anymore then the other toys she have. I always try to get her to play with her toys she will for a little while. When I see certain toys I would get it for her if I think she might play with it more then other. There haven't been any yet but I will be looking for that certain I know there got to be one out there. Tucker loves this one! I was a little worried about him shredding it, but either he loves it too much or it's really durable (probably some of both!). I like that it doesn't have any easy seams for him to tear into and the furry fur hasn't come off, even with some tugging and chomping on Tucker's part. My brother's 18 month old dog loved Lewis from the moment we showed him it. The dog is small-to-medium and we were looking for a toy that wouldn't overpower him but be weighty enough to give him a good adventure. He loves to shake Lewis and fling him and pounce and attack him. I have two rambunctious Jack Russell Terriers, Georgie and Lulu — they both LOVE these toys and they last for ever! In the 7 or so years we've switched to these toys (probably purchased 20 over the years) only one has been gutted. The rest are still around, albeit stinky and dirty, and the awesome squeaker still works and they feel brand new. I also use these as host/hostess gifts instead of a bottle of wine — very welcomed gifts for dog owners. I love West Paw products and buy them all the time for my dogs and work in the veterinary field so I love to recommend them to clients. Unfortunately, this toy was unusually flimsy and my puppy (who isn't even my strongest chewer) had it in a million pieces in minutes. I got this West Paw Zisc for my standard poodle that loves playing Frisbee. This Frisbee is soft and flexible. Usually our Frisbees do not last more than a month or two because of her bite and how roughshe is with them, but we have had this one for over six months and it is still in excellent condition. My guess is the flexibility and rubber like material has helped a lot. I am super happy with it. Highly recommend it.Ann317

My puppy wasn't really into tennis balls and the sort. So I decided to try a frisbee. This one checked several boxes for me. Not hard plastic that can shatter easily, check. Not so flimsy it can easily be chewed through, check. Not fabric so it doesn't get all wet and slobbery as you play, check. Easy to clean it it does get dirty, check. It is a little heavy due to the material so it doesn't get as much air as a lighter frisbee might but the dog doesn't care. He loves to dig on it too… Maybe he's just dumb but it makes him happy.Animafeline
