The product is basically as it is described. My puppy is a little rambunctious, so she wouldn't stop pulling them around and trying to eat the grass off. She is 4 months old and very energetic. She was initially trained on potty pads, but we were looking for a segue into training her to go outside. It didn't really work for us. I know nothing about dog training, but I would recommend starting a puppy on them day 1. Good product though. I'll be looking for alternative uses.crishep_7

I ordered a LARGE for my PUGGLE and he barely can fit on it. Definitely not even close to true to size. And since i've started using this the scent of urine has been obnoxious and potent and i clean it daily with pet lysol spray and hot water. Honestly id rather let my dog pee on the floors and clean it up daily rather than use this "indoor restroom". Extremely dissatisfied.Lady J

This is a purchase that I can conclude as a lesson learnt. I purchased this product because it was smaller than my other pet unit which allowed it for portability when traveling. The turf itself is okay quality, easy to clean and drains correctly. However, the middle draining tray is not designed at all to work at all. The urine just collects on top of the drain tray because the holes and bumps aren't in a functional area and it barely drains to the lower tray. It is made from a texture that soaks up the urine instead of allowing it to flow off and threw, therefore it collects oder, collects urine that won't wash/scrub off, it can't be cleaned properly and all that waste causes the material to break down. When I say break down, I mean in ever sense. It starts to break off in pieces. Every time I clean the product, more peices fall off and it gets smaller and smaller. Basically, this product does not work. I learned that I should stick with what works and not take chances of cheaper off brand products. Even though the size of my other potty unit is less portable, it actually works! (If it's okay to say, I only trust the AKC Official Potty Patch, which is superior in every way to this product.)HeathersLasVegas

I purchased this one as I wanted a wireless version vs the perimeter one I had to bury. We use this when we go fishing as well as around the house. We have only had to use the continuous shock once at level 2. The tone works so well we dont really need the other features but we have them just in case, our dog decides to be really stubborn in the future. My favorite is how easy it is to use, charge and the fact the tone is the best way to get my dog's attention. It has not taken long for him to know the remote goes to his collar and that just showing him he knows to heel or the tone sound will come on and get his attention quickly. My sister is purchasing one as well since my purchase, as she has seen how much it has helped our strong willed dog. He just needed a little extra guidance for his safety as we live off a highway and next to woods with coyotes. Definitely would buy again and looking forward to showing my sister how to work hers next week.Countrysun

Really enjoy the simplicity of the collar and remote. My only wish is that the vibrate setting was higher, our deaf American bully doesn't respond to the vibrate setting very well. Literally bought this as my second attempt first was a petsafe wireless fence and it wasn’t as user friendly as this petsport with a remote. I’m able to keep basic corrections in house and outside in the yard! I was worried it wouldn’t be small enough for my mini Heeler but the collar comes with an abundant amount of holes for proper fit on anything ! Supper pleased with the collar and the three bases it has for training. The beep tone the one hit simulation and the longer hit stimulation gives me theee options to ask my dog according to what she’s doing. I like that it can be supper mild and allow her the chance to be asked nicely and then reinforced mildly and then reinforcement with a sterner setting. A true life saver. My pup was running out to the neighbors across the street and up to meet cars it literally only took thirty mins in house training on basics and then outside yard training for a little under an hour! I am now no longer stressed about her getting hurt she comes right back to me and treats me as I am her safe spot! I thought it would discourage her but if taken time and reading directions and applying properly you will have a new dog !Heeler

My Carmine loves his Bumi. This makes number two for him. He had a horseshoe which was his favorite thing and these Bumi are a great replacement. We loves to bring it to me for a fling across the yard or a good game of tug tug. Some times he just wobbles it around by the center point like he’s really doing something. Well made. The opportunity presented itself for me to try out the Bumi dog toy, produced by West Paw. This particular toy is one of West Paw's newest dog toys. Bumi, makes an exceptional toy for tug of war. It is made of Zogoflex. Zogoflex is a strong, malleable material that is suppose to withstand unfavorable conditions. Those conditions being my dog's sharp teeth, his powerful grip, and his action in thrashing it all over the yard as he is playing. Well, I went outside and introduced him to the Bumi. He wasn't excited like I thought he would be. At first, that was disappointing. He would not play tug of war with me. Instead, he liked running and fetching the Bumi back to me. The Bumi is a light weight, "S" shaped, bouncy toy that is easy to throw for fetching. It also travels a bit further than most toys due to these traits. It is non-toxic, BPA and Phthalates free ( Phthalates is a chemical used to soften PVC plastics). These substances can cause damage to the kidneys, liver, lungs, and testes according to animal research. Not all dog toys are safe and I do not want to risk my dog's health for anything. The Bumi is made to be long lasting and safe for dogs to chew on. I like that he will fetch the toy because it requires him to get up and move. Exercise will be good for him and he is learning a few commands. I gave him a reward and that really motivated him to continue fetching. It looks like my dog will enjoy chewing on this toy for the most part. So far, it has held up well.When he puts his mouth on it, he grips it in the middle section, where it has a ball like shape. I suppose it's because this is the first time he has had a toy like this. Usually, he retrieves balls and other round toys so this toy is fun and easier for him to grip. This toy is made in the USA and it was made to last a long time. The chewing action is good for his gums and teeth. The Bumi floats in water and can be easily washed or placed in the dishwasher. Lastly, I was impressed with the fact that if the Bumi comes apart it can be returned to West Paw company for a new one. The West Paw Company made this toy so it can be recycled if returned. It's a great toy for my dog and with it being recyclable, it is good for us and our environment. I don't think a dog owner could go wrong in purchasing this new innovative toy by West Paw.DD

Over the past 17 years, we've had 3 dogs and have bought hundreds of toys over those years. None of our dogs were very rough with their toys, so we've had 3 baskets full of gently used dog toys. All 3 dogs have since passed away, the last one in June of 2020. So, in September of 2020 we got a mini Goldendoodle puppy. Since we still had the 3 baskets full of toys that were in good condition from our other dogs, our new puppy, "Bowie" has had tons of toys to play with. The big difference is that Bowie is NOT gentle with his toys!! He is a power chewer who not only tears toys apart, he will actually consume the stuffing!! I've had to take every toy away from him after a day or two due to his weird appetite! I NEVER leave him alone with a toy. But there is one toy from that bunch that he absolutely loves and is still in excellent condition. So, thankfully, I was able to find the name of the company stamped into this toy, and I immediately searched the internet for the company West Paw (praying that it was still around). I was ecstatic to find their website, and there I saw his beloved toy – the "Bumi"!!! I was also surprised to see it listed as a toy for gentle chewers! I saw that almost all the reviewers mentioned that their dogs were more like Bowie – power chewers. The other thing about the Bumi is that it makes Bowie do the Zoomies all around the house whenever he plays with it. It makes him crazy! So, the added benefit is the exercise he gets when he plays with it, and there is still not a single bite mark on it! Excellent total package. Put a 70 lb strong active pit bull on this cable run and he's doing great. I considered going to the hardware store and purchasing all the items needed to build my own heavy duty dog run system but you can't do it for this package price. The leash is attached to an all steel well made unit that has a swivel so that the cable can't get twisted which is super important. The cable that runs between 2 big trees is 60 feet long which is a great length. The leash cable however is only 10 feet long. I'd like to see the leash maybe 12 to 15 feet long but 10 feet isn't bad. It all beats the heck out of a chain around a tree for sure. He's thrilled that he can now actually run back and fourth and seems so much happier.todd6939

Adopted a black mouth cur from the shelter. Escape artist, separation anxiety to the maximum. First time I put the shirt on her, I left her in the car while I ran into the store (no, it wasn't hot out! and I wasn't long. but I'd be wondering the same, reading the above!) When I got back to the car, though, she had the thundershirt Off! And she was trying to escape from the slightly open window, yelping! I honestly put the jacket back into the box because it has a money-back guarantee. I was going to send it back. However, "life" got in the way and I never mailed it. Lo and behold, came upon it a month later, right before a move of residence to another state. I put it on her and she immediately calmed, laid down and fell asleep for the 4 hour drive. I purchased the ThunderShirt for my dog's anxiety over fireworks. I tried to get my dog accustomed to it before putting it on her as the instructions stated but she ran away every time even when it was paired with treats and I was just holding it up. Despite this, I put the ThunderShirt on her the night of the 4th of July fireworks. I also added the calming spray to the area on the shirt as indicated. She was very anxious the whole night. However, the next night I put the shirt on her again and she calmed down quickly despite neighbors setting off fireworks. This was repeated the next night as well. We have not needed to use it since then but will use it when thunderstorms are predicted and when she needs to go in the car to see if that will help with her car sickness. I recently adopted 2 retired greyhounds and noticed my female would hide and pant before and during rainstorms. I bought these just a few weeks before July 4th since the firecrackers were already starting to explode in our neighborhood and my male grey refused to walk after hearing pops and getting spooked. I got 2 in XL: one in Camo with orange stripes and the sport in platinum which has a quilted weave and feels thicker so I could see if they had any preference since they both fit on either dog (they like them both). Just followed the directions for wrapping the shirts and it seemed to instantly calm my girl down to the point where she doesn’t want to take it off though eventually she lets me. I’m not sure it helps my male so much since it’s gotten so hot out that I won’t add an extra layer on them in this heat and cause them to have heat stroke but I put it on them during stormy weather and they both really like wearing the shirts which surprised me so I think he likes it too. This worked great for a dog who was already neutered & knew how to lift his leg! We had a piece of mind to let him roam around the house & not worry about him marking the furniture, couch, etc. The design is simple & fastens with velcro. Instead of buying the liners we used a ladies Kotex panty liner; worked great! Now we can enjoy the dog inside w/o worrying about him marking around the house! This product is great….BUT….the sizing is wrong. I had read the reviews before purchasing. Going by their lead claiming it ran small. I ordered a medium. My puggle is 13lbs and the medium was huge on him. So I reordered the small and it was way to tight. In fact I failed to realize this fact soon enough and it had rubbed him raw and created a sore. I felt horrible. This product is great and it washes up nice…the Velcro is sturdy. So if they could get the sizing corrected this would be awesome for those of us that need this type of product. My little guy was 1 year old when I rescued him. I soon realized that he is incontinent. Probably the reason he was abandoned. I am going to reorder the medium and just tighten it up somehow.BudsPeach

My Jack Russell terrier who I have had for the past 17 years is now old and incontinent. He does have a few health issues and has now started to urinate in the house but especially in his bed at night. My "little" guy has a life long issue with loud noises that began about eight years ago when he was eleven weeks old and we ventured out in between thunder showers with his mom and dad. Suddenly a stray lightning bolt hit missed us by only a few yards and the accompanying explosive noise terrified my three dogs and myself. The dogs went howling into the house and you can imagine the impact that experience had on a very young pup. I did everything I could think of to acclimate Yulee to sudden loud noises but nothing seemed to work as well as the ThunderShirt we purchased on the Amazon site. He's not as frightened of approaching thunder boomers as he is by gun fire or fireworks probably because he can gradually get into a more relaxed state with advancing storms. Now we also have time to prepare him for the thunder claps and we're relieved that he apparently finds the ThunderShirt comforting. He also likes to have time to curl up in secluded spot where he probably doesn't feel as exposed to any inherent danger – (see the third image). You can tell he's starting to feel threatened in the middle shot where his tail is tucked under his rear and the noise from today's thunderstorms is getting increasingly louder. The only reason the ThunderShirt didn't earn 5 stars from me is that at a svelte145 pounds Yulee was squeezed too much for our liking by the largest size (XXL) offered. We wrapped him in it without over tightening the material to make it uncomfortable while still affording him the gentle pressure and protective aspect of security. The fabric of the ThunderShirt Sport is a lightweight polyester which I felt might be lighter and more breathable than the other models with a poly, spandex and rayon blend. With all the fur this guy has he doesn't need any additional warmth. The shirt is extremely well constructed with ample velcro closure tabs which do a great job for getting the ultimate fit required…if only he was a bit smaller…Vic

I ordered the correct size and it fit snugly enough in width, but the length was too long for my dog (from neck to tail). With the extra room in length she was able to get her back legs tangled in the fabric each time she would bend her knees/go from sitting to standing. It made it so she couldn’t use her back legs properly and she took a tumble down a few steps. Maybe including a body length measurement would help? I think the fit is probably ideal for certain types of dogs but not others. The zipper made me nervous that it would be easy to accidentally pinch her skin and I’m not sure she could go to the bathroom wearing it, even unzipped. I had an excellent experience returning with this company though. They sent a personal message and I received a refund quickly. As well, it really works for shedding and looked well made.Jodi R.

These onsies are so cool! We have 2 long hair dogs that shed and my grandma HATES dog hair. We ordered these so that we can take the dogs to my grandmas house without her worrying. I think if your dog is in between sizes, you need to order the bigger size. Looser is better than tighter. The onsie was pretty tight on our bigger dog but she didn’t seem to mind! They are light weight and super comfy. The sport mode is nice because it’s a little less fabric than the original! I feel like the dogs breathe a little better in sport mode.Kaylin

The transmitter will not charge, despite my having ordered a new battery. The collar receives and charger work just fine, but the transmitter does not work well…it lost its charge and I can't recharge it…so it's a very expensive one-time-use collar. I’ve used these as an assurance that if my male dog marked while visiting a friend’s, he would only go in the wrap. They work so well that my friend didn’t realize he had it on under his coat because her house was so cold. She took him outside, & told me he lifted his leg, but she saw no urine. I wish I had a photo, but he’d since passed. I also used them when he got old. I NOW have a 3 year old male that has been urinating when my 91 years old mother didn’t hear him ring the bells when I was admitted to the hospital for 2 weeks. NOW, we have an issue. I’ve tried other wraps, but these are by far my favorite. 18 years of use. Glad they’re still available!Lynne G

I have two small dogs. (A rat terrier, about 12 pounds and a mini dachshund, about 12 pounds) I bought medium size based on the reviews of others that said they run small. My mistake. Don't let it be yours. My overall rating isn't really accurate since I haven't had the chance to truly test the product. They're too big. This product is just too wide. It slips off the back of the dog. I just gave up trying to use it and made one of my own. After taking all measurements, I made the bottom 6 inches wide and 6 inches long tapering the sides to 5 inches right on down to 3 inches on the back. I then put in the elastic, sewed on the velcro, and sewed in a 6 X 6 very soft padding for his privates and it works great. No slipping off the back and very comfortable. I had already ordered another one from another company before I tried these so I had another one I couldn't use. I am going to try to modify it by cutting it in two length wise, sew on a band on the cut edges and put in elastic. This should work. The product I had purchased would be great if it wasn't so wide. I was dreading the cone because he absolutely hates it and can’t eat or drink with it on or go up and down steps on his own. We tried this sleeve and it has been absolutely perfect. Great surgical suit. Good quality material and workmanship plus it looks fabulous! If your dog needs to wear something to stop them interfering with incisions post surgery then this suit works a treat and is much kinder to them than the dreaded cone. Very glad I purchased this. While it might be more appropriate to call these visibility vests rather than chest protestors I have used these for many years for my hunting dogs when not in heavy cover. They are easy to use, easy to wash and provide visibility when in the field. I wish they were made of a heavier/padded type material and cold actually be more of a chest protector but for open field hunting or just out for runs they are great.laurenmarcia

In the arctic a dog is exposed to extreme temperature, jagged ice, driving snow and hidden dangers (snow covered sticks, bushes, etc). This item protected her without fail! Bought this online. Used the weight to size my pointer cross which weighs 50lbs, so according to the site he's a medium. Nope. The second strap won't even fit around the back side of his front legs. The author is really intelligent an gave good scientific backup. Some parts were little slow and repetitive between different animals, but I personally loved reading about how he proved that different animals were telepathic.
