I brought this in Oct 2022 for outing up in West Virginia Resort. Love it. My LG German Shepherd loves it, even the small dogs wanted to get some time in it. O Don't know if it's for outdoor camping but we use it last month anit work great. Very sturdy and easy to fold up and carry, by a woman of age 73yrs.W73yrs

Great crate, folds very flat with a nice case. Price was great for a good design. Lots of windows that can be rolled up. One thing to note is that it is NOT ORANGE, as pictured. It is brown.Kwips

I purchased one of these right after I moved into our current home, which was over five years ago. It held up beautifully. I would take it out and hose it down now and again to keep it clean and dustless. I decided to replace it only because the dog loves it so much and it was starting to look a little shabby. He had chewed on the mesh door when he was younger and made a hole, and I was no longer able to zip him into it for the night because he would just force himself through that hole. I was very happy to see that they still make pretty much exactly the same product, although I probably shouldn't have been because it's such a good-quality item other people would surely re-buy it too. I can't praise it highly enough. For what it is–a lightweight yet sturdy, easily transportable (even with its own carrying case) dog's home-away-from-home, I doubt it could be bettered, especially for the price.David

I moved all the way from Northern California to DC in the car with my two cats (one 9 lb. domestic shorthair and one 18 lb. ragdoll), and this crate was perfect! They had enough room to move around while also being comfortable, it helped a lot with my anxiety that I could buckle the crate to the seats, and it was super easy to set up. I would recommend putting puppy pads under it so that your back seats don't get gross, and you need some other plan to get kitties in and out of the car because it's not a solid base (you certainly can't carry a kitty in the crate outside the car), but it worked great and was the perfect solution.ZorraTheo

I bought two of these kennel/soft crates, one for each of my cats, in the event I ever need to evacuate my home (for my bug-out kit). They are roomy enough to hold a small litter box, food and water dishes, plus let the cat stretch its legs. I can also put both my cats together in one for traveling in the backseat of my car. The kennels fold up to the size of a large briefcase. It is a little tricky to fold them up but not a dealbreaker. These kennels are not ideal for long term situations, but they gave me great peace of mind knowing I have a safe way of transporting and housing my cats in the event of an emergency.Karen BH

This is a very lightweight product with plenty of room for my 7 month old pup. She loves it. Easy to keep by the bedside, take to the car, travel with cozy den. I have not left her alone in this for long periods of time as a crate when I go out (still use a metal crate for that) as I don't know if she would try to chew on it being a soft crate and she's a puppy. I would try it though as it is very sturdy and she does not seem to be a strong chewer. I highly recommend this if you are looking for a soft crate. Seems well made. Side and end access is convenient to fit in various spaces.Puppy

I had purchased two of these large crates in 1995 when I was showing my dogs I loved both of those crates. I still have one of the crates and needed another for my new dog that is 25lbs. I ordered the new crate and I was a little disappointed with the quality of materials now used in the production of the crates. The crate I have had for 20 years is better made. I do like the 2 or 3 new features on the new one and will be able to use the crate for the dog I have now. This crate is great for travel with well trained dogs.fjane

This is exactly the size I needed for small dog for transporting in car on long trips. Plenty roomy and lots of side “ windows” for looking out. Fits perfectly in the car seat and and put the seat belt on to hold it. The mesh opening makes it easy in and out. Fairly sturdy zipper closure. It folds flat and comes with a carry/ storage bag. The bottom is not super sturdy even with the included pad, but am able to carry our dog in it in and out of a hotel as she is a lightweight . A red folding carrier was available on this site for only 9.99. I paid much more for this carrier because every photo conveyed it as a soft, grayish green and white that perfectly matched my decor. We received a saturated, dark green carrier with cream accents. We're using it to conceal our cat's litter box, so the color matters. If my cat hadn't attacked the crate and put holes in it, it would be on its way back to the company. Disappointed.dontlikebeingmislead

Love the convenience of this kennel – zips apart into three pieces and folds down completely flat into a carrying case that's included. Can be used indoor/outdoor. Zippers work well, and minimal mesh is nice. Still very breathable. This one came with a mat unlike many others available. It is a pretty thin mat but that's okay, my puppy prefers it. Now, she is a 4-month old puppy and I never would have used this to crate train her. She would have shredded it to bits trying to get out. This should only be used for crate-trained dogs, and not doing so is where all of the bad reviews for this type of crate come from, I think. The first night we had this, we opened the door to let her out and she refused to come out! Just rolled over and went back to sleep. She has never done that before, so we knew she was very comfy and felt safe in her new (bigger) bedroom. 🙂RoxeysMama

Purchased the double carrier to house our two cats in our RV while on route. Nice quality but wish there would have been an additional flap so the two units could act as two separate carriers. As it is, only one carrier is completely enclosed; the other is missing a side wall. They do zip together well and provide ample space, but IMO, for the rather high price, these should have been fabricated as two complete carriers.Jean

I bought the the single and double versions of this kennel for a 2-day cross-country move with 3 cats. The kennels worked great; they are airy and comfortable, and big enough to fit a small litterbox, which I could not fit in regular cat carriers. Plus they come with come with mats that have washable covers, which is handy. As another reviewer mentioned, this is not for carrying cats around. I carried them to the car in sturdier small carriers, then transferred them to these kennels. The product is good quality and it met my expectations. I gave 5 stars for durability, but I don't really know about that because I have only used these one time.Sarah

Excellent dog crate! Lots of mesh to let in air and light. It has a nice carrying case for traveling. The Sherpa pad that is included is washable and soft. This is a sturdy crate that will not collapse. It has several points of entry which is nice as well.vthokiesno1

We have a Catahoula pup and ordered the 36” soft camo crate. It fits perfectly in our Jeep and is great for travel purposes. I have read reviews on rips and tears but this crate is made very well! Only reason there would be an issue is if the dog is not crate trained/loves to chew and scratch. It did take a bit for our pup to get use to it in the car but once he did it has been the best! Super easy to store away as well.
I also cannot say enough about how helpful elitefield customer service is! Bianca helped us with getting the correct size in the color we wanted when other 3rd party sites selling the product were not helpful at all.Krista Angelucci

This carrier is great for my Hugh cat. She has plenty of room to stretch out or turn around. I'm so glad I found the right carrier because the one I had was too small and she looked all scrunched up and uncomfortable.Cgant

Exactly what I needed. My 5 month puppy had outgrown the first carrier and I needed something to use in the car and it fits perfectly. I put it in the backseat and the seatbelt fits and keeps it in place. I put it in the rear passenger side and I can see him and he can see me. Note of caution: there is a strap with a hook inside the crate. I found that it was too short to allow him to move around so hooking your dog up to strap may not be a good idea.Reid1

After deciding our precious "baby" needed to sleep in her own bed, we started looking for an attractive soft-side kennel to put in the bedroom for her. We looked all over & couldn't find anything we liked that was the right size. Hayneedle to the rescue!! Found the perfect color & size, placed the order late one night & had it within 3 business days. And to think I wasted hours & hours driving from store to store!! The kennel allows the maximum visibility w/windows on all sides & the top so she doesn't feel confined and the extra pouches will be great for travel. There doesn't seem to be any "handles" for lifting for transport & I wouldn't recommend lifting the kennel w/the dog inside, but you could certainly put it in the car first & then pop your pup inside. The pad that comes with it is flimsy, so buy a "nice" one for assured comfort.alydais

I have had this Petmate house for over a year now and I still think it is just fantastic. It's durable, sturdy construction, comfortable, easy to move and fold, and easy to clean. It is also very, very roomy inside. My dogs aren't chewers, so I can't say how it would hold up to an unwilling guest. The material seems heavy enough not to be scratched through. The pad is pretty soft and the fuzzy cover is easy to wash. One of my dogs really appreciated it as a quite, safe place to recover after having surgery. I thought everything was great about this popup dog crate until my little guy started eating the top part! It was foam so naturally I was worried about his digestive system. The zippers also stopped working here and there and over all we felt it just does not do the trick.chelsea.s

LOVE this crate, and it's absolutely huge! It seems very sturdy and was so easy to fold together and fold back up. I also love the color of it. There are plenty of openings for ease of cleaning. Mine came used with slight scratches on the bottom, but I'll always use the liner and a bed anyhow so I'll never see them anyhow. This carrier is the PERFECT size for my Yorkie. Carries comfortably through the airport and fits well under the seat on both Southwest Airlines and American Airlines. Stiff bottom for patella and hip support for my baby while she's being carried. Great buy, especially for the price.Megan

Not as sturdy as expected. The bottom is weak and bends with the weight of a house cat. Purchased two based on reviews from others, and that was a mistake. This is very weak and unstable. The bottom feels like it will tear away from the sides and fall out. Won't buy again.dledbet

We've got two adult cats, one of which is a really big guy at 17 pounds (he is overweight which we're dealing with, but he's also just a very large framed cat). The big guy has stretched a supposedly hard sided carrier to the point that the door pops out. Obviously, that doesn't do us much good with keeping him secure for vet visits. When I saw these soft-sided carriers, I wasn't positive they would work for us, particularly since our other cat has all of her claws and that mesh didn't necessarily look too sturdy in the picture. These were on sale for a deep discount on Easter Sunday so I took a chance and snapped up a couple of them to try with our critters. I was pleasantly surprised to find the quality to be pretty high and as soon as as zipped them up into their carrier shape and set them out with the doors open, both of our cats immediately climbed in them just to hang out. The size is perfect for even a larger adult cat — not too small that he can't move around or turn around, but not big enough for either cat to be sliding around on the journey. With the long shoulder strap, they were easy to carry to and from the car without jostling the cats around too much which I appreciated since our female cat is pretty skiddish about taking trips anywhere. I will admit to being afraid that the zipper would hold up to 17 pounds of cat hanging off of it, but so far so good. I can't speak to the durability of the mesh when pitted against claws because our little one was too scared of where she was going to really try to escape, but it seems like it would hold up to casual abuse at least. There was a slight new material kind of odor when I first got these out of the package, but I didn't notice it after airing them out for a bit and the cats didn't care so it wasn't an issue. All in all, these are great carriers that I think should work fine for both smaller and larger sized cats and in my tiny house, I love that they fold up almost flat for storage. Worth it at the sale price I paid, worth at the regular price as well.asps

We ordered the medium crate. Our 40 pound Belgian Sheepdog had 6, short term, practice trials. On the 5th and 6th trial, she proceeded to unzip the front of the crate, very methodically, with her paw…from the inside of the crate. Out she came! This crate, obviously, just didn't work for us.Jim

I bought this kennel a little over a year ago and it works great. If your dog is a chewer it may be a problem as it has cloth netting on the doors. Our apbt was kennel trained so she doesn't try to get out.hugo57

Everything about buying, assembling, and using our second Revol crate (we purchased our first, a Medium, last spring), was excellent, and our pup loves her new bigger digs. The company’s communication about the status of our pre-order was superb—well-timed, clear, and accurate. We weren’t expecting two boxes (I probably missed the detail in one of the emails), so were surprised when the second box arrived a few days after the first and only then noticed Box 1 on the first box. It would have been better if the box labeling had said Box 1 of 2 and Box 2 of 2, but that’s a quibble. The packaging did its job well and the instructions were both charming and easy to follow. The ONLY product design flaw in our opinion involves the last step of assembly: Handling and attaching the teeny-tiny screws in the four bottom corners. The allen wrench is ridiculously small (even for a woman’s hands), and getting the screws into their holes is incredibly difficult, from just getting them into the holes to fully tightening them. The placement of the screws, especially such small screws on an otherwise very large object, is i credibly awkward. Upshot: The holes are hard to reach because of the close proximity of the crate sides. It’s also hard to imagine that such tiny screws accomplish much of anything on such a large object. But that is our only negative criticism/observation. The product is overall superb—wildly expensive, yes, but very attractive and sturdy and safe. I love the design and the customer service of the diggs crate. I had the medium slate gray size crate which is amazing in looks and design. I love how easy the front door opens. The medium size garage door I found to be not usable the way it folds in and up. I love the color and the design over all. I then ordered the large white crate when they came out with it. Again I loved the color and the look of it. I didn't like that they charged my card before I got the crate, nor did I like the price of the crate but they are the best crates on the market that I have seen so far. The large crate that I got the other day did have a large dent in the base which only effects the looks. For the price it would have been great to get the crate in mint shape. Their customer service is amazing so I might put in a call to them. The directions to put the large crate together could have been a little clearer about the ceiling or top of the crate. If you put it on the wrong way the garage door can't be put and I had to take it off and turn it around. This could be a lot clearer in the directions. Once I got it together I found the design on the large crate to be better for the garage door and I should be able to use it now but not as sturdy on the 4 pillars. I'm not crazy about the plastic inserts they look to fragile like they can easily break. I also found them hard to get in. Maybe I'm just spoiled since the medium crate was designed better and was put together when it was delivered. If either the medium crate or the large crate are in your budget they really are beautiful crates and I'm really glad I purchased them. I also bought the snooze beds and again the price is high but they are quality made. I'm still waiting for my large size snooze bed but I'd imagine I will get it soon.donna G.

I have a 30lb puppy who is expected to be closer to 50lbs when she’s an adult. I bought the intermediate crate. This crate is designed beautifully. It gets a lot of complements when people visit. It feels like a sturdy crate and the quality seems generally good save for a few joints on the front and back which got stuck for me. However, assembling it was a little difficult (they do recommend you have 2 people)—even inserting and removing the puppy divider is not easy. Taking it anywhere is impossible. It’s too long to fit in a standard sedan’s trunk. Also lifting it into the car (whether trunk or backseat) requires 2 people as well. Not convenient unless you live with other people. I think I’m going to wind up having to buy a wire crate anyways in order to travel with her. Also fwiw, this crate is the only crate she’s known (in our house) but she often prefers our friend’s dog’s wire crate haha. We wonder if part of it is the revol crate is tall whereas the large wire crate feels cozier so it’s something to consider. If you’re just looking for an aesthetic crate for your home, this is a nice choice. But if you’re looking for utility and multi-use for travel (and are interested in the intermediate or large size) just know you will need to buy a second travel crate or own an SUV.Elizabeth C.
