I am THRILLED with my end table/ crate! First, it came within 3 or 4 days of ordering! We ordered it for our boy Rambo because he likes to be to himself once in awhile, especially if he doesn't feel well or is scared. (He's a 15 lb. Pomeranian mix.) Well, we were delighted to find that this was so big and that it was made VERY sturdy with quality wood. It took us about half hour to put together and our boy has taken a liking to it. We didn't put the door on-just left it open. Our boy is a rescue and panics if enclosed in a cage. So with the sides and the back having the spindles and the door not on it, he really enjoys going in it. (He now takes his bones in there to chew on.) So we are very pleased with it overall. Very grateful to Hayneedle for having such quality products with such great prices and deals. You are the Best!! I would recommend to anyone who wants a "little place" for their furry baby. My one Yorkie won't come out of this crate -he loves it! Ordered the small and my medium sized Yorkies have plenty of room even with cushions and blankets! Just be ready to make tiny predrilled holes bigger with drill bit little bigger than size of screws or you'll need the Hulk to get screws in! Just be careful not to drill through to other side! However, the locking latch could've been more sturdy. The wooden bars across the windows were also not as solid as I would've preferred. The first time using it was the evening I received it. When I returned home after 4 hrs.he was at the door when I opened it. I bought this product as a means to contain my pet while I'm away. I use to let him run the house until I returned but in the last 4 weeks there have been too many events taken place while I'm gone. It's a so-so PURCHASE for the price compared to the high-cost brands. The metal frame is light-weight and the canvas is medium-weight. The material sags slightly and my dogs are not flat when they lay on it. I purchased an extra large for a small/15 lbs and medium/40 lbs dog to share because they refuse separate anything and for space considerations. You'll need a large floor space, so you don't trip over frame corners in walk area. My dogs will not lay on it for extended time; they prefer the floor or their cheap dog pillows. I tried adding a soft, fluffy, over-sized blanket, but it didn't improve their use of the bed. The manufacturing quality of the bed is great! All parts were in perfect condition. That's a rare thing anymore, so I'd give them 5 stars on manufacturing. ASSEMBLY was a big pain. It took a lot of strategy to get the screws to drive in straight. DELIVERY was about 2 weeks using standard. The openings of the box were in bad shape upon delivery. Fortunately, the tape kept it from losing contents. This is a great bed for any pets. I used it on my dogs so they can lie elevated above the floor should they chose too. If you have a kenneled dog, this would be great for them. Gets them off the floor. Cooler in summer and warmer in winter. I have several other beds that are similar, but nowhere near as good a price as these. My sister saw mine and will be ordering some for her dogs. Really well made at a very good price. Very happy. It is possible for the dog to chew the corners, if they are VERY determined to do so, but for dogs that are not serious chewers, I would call this a chew resistant bed. Item arrived quickly and well packaged. This looks good and seems to be fairly well-made – all the pre-drilled holes lined up appropriately, all wooden pegs and screws included, wood not particle board, decent hinges and latch. But…no instructions on how to put it together. None online that I could find either. I managed it, but took about 45 mins. Looks much nicer than a wire crate, but absolutely will not keep in a dog determined to get out if the latch isn't modified. My dog loves his crate so no problem, but if you've got a chewer or escape artist, might want to think twice. Got the smaller one, which just barely fits my 25 lb Whippet.Bethany

I purchased 2 of these crates in white for the master bedroom in our beach condo. Assembly was quick and easy. These crates are SO much more attractive than plastic and metal dog crates. I placed the fronts of the crates side by side, and they are about 50" wide total. The large flat surface on top is nice for stacking the extra pillows from our bed when we go to bed at night. The crates are roomy inside, so if you're debating between sizes, I'd recommend sizing down. At first, I didn't know if I'd like that they don't have a floor in them, but now, I love it because cleaning or moving them is so much easier. My dogs' beds fit great inside the crates. I think it is a good value and I'm glad that I bought it but I wouldn't call it an "excellent" value because the quality of the construction and the finish is only good, with some of the joints not exact or expertly finished with even coating and no spots missed.
