Oh how I wish I was small enough to sleep in this bed. From the soft fur to the memory foam in the middle it’s perfect. It took my cat a few minutes as she sniffed around it but once she got in her purring a few minutes later told me she LOVED it. She was curled up in it and sound asleep. I got this Martha Stewart Charlie 4-sided Bolster with Ortho Base and Removable Cover for my dog a couple of weeks ago. It has become his new favorite place to nap. When he sleeps in this bed he just passes out and snores. It's really cute and I know it has to be comfortable for him to sleep that hard. I got this for my dog and I wasn't to sure about the size of it. I have a large dog and this turned out to be a bit small for him but he loves to lay in it anyways. It's nicely padded to give a bit of support so he's not just on the hard floor. I got one of these beds (36” XL) for my pup who has separation anxiety. When she isn’t sleeping in bed with me, she is snuggled into her faux fur bed. I brought it to my parent’s place when I had a trip and, surprisingly to all of us, my dad’s 10 yr old Anatolian Shepard Mix (who was born in a cave in Afghanistan) fell in love with it. This has to be the best dog bed I have ever purchased. My dog plays toss with it. My baby also hides his toys and bones in it and He sleeps in it. It is super soft and furry. The bottom is not very cushy but decent. We have a 55-60 lb dog and the 30×30 is way too big to be comfy but the next size smaller was cramped. I thought the fluffy fabric would be thicker but it is a bit thin for my taste. It does seem to be well constructed though. Do not stick this size in a large home dryer as it is too big and the heat will matte the fluffy strands (almost like melting) from the heat because it cannot move around enough. This is a well made dog bed. Easy to put together, very comfortable for my dog, stays cleaner than other dog beds, easy to remove and wash. I have a labrador retriever and initially got the large size, but exchanged it for the jumbo. The large size was a good size, but upon watching him sleep, i found out he likes to stretch out. Yes the jumbo size is very large and requires a lot of space in your room, but it is worth it to see him stretch out or curled up in his very comfy bed. A little pricey but he is worth it. I tried other beds and they are of inferior quality and won't last long. I highly recommend it. For your reference my dog is about 73 Lbs and measured 40 inches when laying down and lightly curled. My 13 year old Lab was going for spirited 2 mile walks 4 months ago but alas, age it seems has finally caught up with my dearest and closest friend. we all love this raised bed. this is our second one, the first one we purchased several years ago and is holding up so well (it still looks new!). we take it outside during the day for our two fur-babies to sit on it and then move it all over the yard if they prefer sun versus shade. the second one will be for inside the house in our hu-man seating area so they feel like they have a seat that's just theirs. great design with the legs, they never collapse when they jump on it (and one of them often uses it for added height when they play)….unlike other raised bed designs that fold like a beach chair but then collapse when jumped on. easy to assemble.Stacia
This is a good quality product that I am hoping will last a good many years. Was quite difficult to assemble in terms of getting the last bolt in and required two pairs of hands. I don't know how the assembly process could be improved as the bed surface needs to be under tension which is what makes the final assembly a little problematic. The biggest issue is around registering the product to take advantage of the guarantee. For Europe, you have to register on the Canada/USA site and of course the form is geared for zip codes not UK address formats. I ended up on a chat session with them and still have no confirmation of the registration of the purchase. My cats just love the cots for lounging, playing, sleeping, and that cat superiority point of view above the floor. This cot is very sturdy. Although it says small its bigger than the small travel cot from other makers. Its not too big or too small. Thats quite Okay with me and the cats. Three of them can get on it together, which they do. The Terra Cotta is a perfect color for me, I love it because it blends in with the decor. The mat portion is mesh all around, the frame is metal and comes with the single tool needed to screw it together. They can be used indoors or outdoors. I have another one in grey outside and its been fine through two summers and winters. Once put together its designed to stay together so i wouldn't say its a travel cot. I think did see a replacement mat available when i ordered this. This bed is very well made and my dog loves it! I have a 80lb lab mix who is starting to have hip issues. He likes to stretch out. The reviews/size guide indicated he would fit the large. I got the XL because he is pretty sprawly in our bed (we have a king). It is perfect for him. If your dog sleeps curled up, you can go with the large but for someone who stretches out this was perfect and the bed itself is not ridiculously oversized.AJPP
I had purchased the older version of this bed a few years ago (not from here thank gawd) it was amazing went to find another and found this which seems to be updated version. Well FINALLY got it (tractor supply cheap and doesnt pay for wknd delivery) the cover is so rough and not soft at all and what its sad is the arms are not attached.(so i could have planned for the extra space would have been nice to know. as much money as this costs as i first time customer i will be a last time customer.TC95
I have been through numerous beds and this one by far is the best. I was looking for something that wouldn't wear down and get flattened from use within mths. I was also looking for a waterproof liner as our Dane sometimes has accidents at night. This bed is just like a human mattress and the foam is lined to keep accidents out. Many beds have uncomfortable material that is used for the waterproofing, this bed has regular material for comfort where the dog lays and has a separate soft layer of waterproofed material around the foam mattress. Both can be taken off easily and washed. I ended up getting more than one bed as they are so well made and large enough for our Dane to sprawl out on and have the support under her.Pros: looks, support, water resistantCons: expensive
