My six-year-old daughter really enjoyed spending time with the puppy she treated it like it was a real puppy. Edit it on the back watched it fall asleep. She enjoyed taking it to the board and letting out laugh out of the bowl. As a parent I really appreciate where the batteries are located. Overall, I would give this a 4.5, although I couldnt get the star rating to cooperate. Disclosure: my review is based on experience with a 4-5 mo old Pomeranian puppy 7-8 lbs. in size. With that, Ill start with the cons: The tall tower-type item presents zero challenge. Dog can basically bark at it and it flops over. That said, my teething puppy likes to chase these around on the floor and chew on it; I think he thinks these are stiffer Kongs, lol. Might be worried about choking hazard for big dog but work fine for an itty-bitty, at least until they get lost (lost pieces being why I am reordering). Pros: Puppy dances every time I pull this puzzle out. Took him a bit to figure out the rope and lever ones, but now hes a pro and additionally drags those trays around to fling in the air and chew on. (Note: holding up well so far but not letting him play unsupervised.) Had been doing some nose work (shell game, etc.) but this took it to a new, fun level. I have two Pembroke Welsh Corgis. As with most herding dogs, they are smart and they need something to do. I had tried other IQ interactive toys before, and even with the upper levels, they had them finished in 30 seconds or less. They were no challenge. That was until I found Trixie IQ toys. I had gotten them another level 3 Trixie IQ toy for Christmas, and not only was it fun and a challenge, you could keep changing it, therefore making a new challenge each time. The problem was they wanted to both do it. That was when I found this one. This not only has the pegs and sliders that the first one has, it has drawers as well. Each drawer has a different way to open it, again adding to the challenge. These are well made, even with my rough and tumble Corgis. They are made to last. I love the way that you can change the puzzle making it different each time. I haven't stopped to actually figure the thousands of combinations that you can make. You do have to play with your dog, to hide the treats as they find them. These are great toys. I would reccommend them to anyone with a dog. You can start simply and work up as your dog progresses. This was the perfect product for me to review. I have two toddlers and a 120 lb Bernese Mountain Dog who can be messy and has marking his territory in the house lately! My kids both have little Lazy-Boy type chairs that are covered in a cloth material and my dog has peed on both of them. I've always wanted to use a carpet shampooing vacuum on them but that was impossible.. until I received this! It's very easy to use and so light and easy to carry around. I like that there's a scrub brush built right into the attachmentments. I love that there's a regular and an extra small attachment to get into small areas. The surface stains, like the area of the seat that looked dirty, only took one slow pass to show a really noticeable difference! Other areas, like pen marks or the arms that looked dirty didn't come out right away but I didn't expect them too. It's normal that some areas will need to be spot treated beforehand. The chair no longer smells like dog urine at all! That's the hard part is getting the smell out, especially when it goes down deep. The chairs were only minimally wet after we were done. The vacuum has a self-cleaner on it that's really easy to use, which I love! Overall, I think this vacuum is a big success, especially when I look up the price and see it's under $200. It's not a professional grade cleaner but it also doesn't cost nearly as much as one. We will definitely get a lot of use out of this vacuum. I would recommend it to anyone that has animals or even small kids and I would purchase this myself. I can't wait to use it in my car!Stacey
I bought this upholstery cleaner specifically for the wide attachment. I needed this to clean large areas like my couches, rugs, and car. First time I used it it worked fairly well but I had to go over with a few passes. For the rugs I shampooed them first and this tool worked great on those! The problem when I tried to use it the second time—water leaked everywhere. And I don’t mean a little bit of water, it was enough that I got worried it would have ruined my floor and used large towels in a panic to clean it up. By that point the return window had passed for it and now I’m stuck with an expensive machine that I can’t use indoors. I still use it outside for my rugs because the water leaking isn’t an issue there. Coming to write a review and reading all the positive ones I thought maybe mine was just bad luck. I’ve never had an upholstery cleaner and was debating which one to get. I like this one, seems to clean well. However, novices need to read this: no matter which cleaner you get, spot cleaning may cause water marks on your furniture. After cleaning my pieces, they look worse than before, because I spot cleaned rather than cleaning the whole thing. This may be because I have white furniture but if you clean one area of a dirty chair, that area will be cleaner/lighter and make the rest look dingy. I’m super bummed, all my upholstery looks much worse after cleaning it. I wish I had never cleaned it to begin with. Again, this is absolutely no fault of Hoover. The machine worked well and cleaned well. Moral of the story- clean the ENTIRE piece of furniture to avoid patchy areas. Other thoughts: – I thought the tough scrubber head would ruin my upholstery but it didn’t seem to – good suction (though you need the entire vacuum head to connect with something to maintain suction, so suction doesn’t really work if you are trying to do a thin chair arm that doesn’t allow you to press the whole head down against the fabric). – the hose cleaner is a nice feature – it does seem to clean well – the cleaning solution sprayer is spotty, not like a regular spray bottle. Love the lavender color with the crate, the design and quality. I bought the treat spreads and the one I’ve tried, my dog loves it. He is conditioned now to hear when I open the freezer drawer. I have put different spreads in yogurt I have made popsicles and the product holds up. I still have a young puppy so I don’t know how this will hold up with a strong chewer. It does promote licking because that’s how your dog can reach his snack and it does calm them and it’s great that it goes in the crate but eventually when the spread or popsicle or whatever it is getting low a dog will chew because dogs are chewers. The medium size I got was a lot bigger than I thought which is a wonderful surprise. I’ve split it into 2 and the double doors make it possible. I am currently training my little pup to use the other side as a bathroom as he weathers his first Chicago winter. Love it! I love Petco. So sorry I can’t give this kennel a 5 star rating. Love the style. Purchased “large” size for 40 pound female lab/hound mix, 17 months young; fit perfectly (even 75 pound male “cousin” slept curled up a couple of times, for novelty). She’s not perfectly kennel/crate trained. Visiting our daughter & didn’t want dog to run around unsupervised. 1st time used kennel successfully for a few hours. 2nd time unfortunately used a lot longer. She was observed on camera chewing/pulling on rear end and pushing way out of bottom (latched) small front door. She got minor abrasions on cheek and paw; was a TIGHT SQUEEZE out. MOST UNFORTUNATE! Ughhhh; other purchasers had reported wire weaknesses, but I truly wanted to believe that my dog wouldn’t be strong enough. I will talk to customer service now. We have a growing 7 month-old newfypoo so needed to upgrade our crate to a larger size. I chose this crate for 2 specific reasons: #1, the height and #2, the top-folding door on the side of the crate. My newfypoo needed the additional height so he isn't hunched over if he's sitting up. The height on this size has given him an inch or two of extra clearance and should still work when he's done growing. For the 2nd point, I LOVE the top-folding side door. Because of where we keep the crate, we only use the side door and it has been awesome not having to walk around a door that opens to the side and is in the way of the main flow of traffic. Even though the crate is noticeably bigger than our old one, it feels like it takes up the same amount of space because of that door. I can't speak highly enough of it. For more practical items, the crate is very sturdy and well made. There were no problems with shipping and other than needing a little muscle, the crate went together very easily. My newfypoo isn't one that will try to escape from a crate, so I can't speak to that, but I have been very impressed with the quality of this crate and how easy it was to get my big-little puppy used to it. We have two fairly small dogs and this gate is amazing for containing them. The opening between our family room and our living room is 70" and this gate spans the opening perfectly. I especially like that it is free-standing and not attached to a wall. Because it has substantial plastic tabs that "catch" between the two walls of the opening, the dogs aren't able to push it open or push it over. Since it moves easily, they are able to insert noses between the gate and the wall it is pressing against and squeeze through that way. We have solved that with a jug of kitty litter against the gate. Not really attractive, but effective. It is very easy to move out of the way and put back in place, so I can get in and out of different rooms. It is short enough for our cats to jump over (20") and my husband easily steps over it (he's pretty tall). Our dogs are a Shiatsu who is fairly small and a small standard poodle. Neither of them has attempted to jump over the gate (they aren't jumpers). Larger dogs or those who are jumpers might be able to jump over. Our son has a very large standard poodle and she is quite able to get over the gate when she visits, so this might not be perfect for a larger dog. I purchased two of these "KennelMaster 24" Folding Black Wire 2 Door Dog Crate" and have had them for several months. What a great buy! Super easy to set up: they come preassembled and all folded up. They unfold and set up in a minute. I have one for each of my dogs: a Maltese/Bichon mix and a Chihuahua mix (who looks just like a small German Shepherd). We use their crates for the night time and when we leave the house. These crates are made of very nice thick metal. Incredibly sturdy. The latches are well made and smart-doggy proof. I like that the bottom is solid and can be easily removed and sanitized. My dogs have scratched and nibbled on the bars daily and the crates have held up like new. There are two doors on each crate: one door on a long side and one door on a short side. There's also a handle on top which makes it really easy to move around when I am relocating it, transporting the dogs, or just moving the crates to vacuum and clean underneath. My crates also came with some additional wire dividers that I don't use. I believe they are for making the crate smaller when you have a puppy and removing it as your dog grows. Crates can be really expensive so I was glad to find these at such a bargain price, especially because they are so well made. I know these crates will last many, many years. I have no negative things to say about these dog crates. I would highly recommend them! Please note: I do not put both dogs in the same crate, though they do both fit. This kennel looks great in your home. It’s much more decorative than a traditional crate. And for the price of why not? Well that’s easy. It’s not as functional as a traditional kennel. I read reviews before buying this, and a lot of those reviews stated that their dogs tore this kennel apart. But I thought my dog shouldn’t have a problem with that because she is crate trained. As a matter of fact she went into her old kennel willingly without anyone asking all of the time. It was her safe space I think. Never tried to break out. But the thing with this kennel is the material that it is made out of is weak and if you’re a pitbull, very soft. My dog chewed the bars out with ease and the fake wood was like bubblegum to her. I love the small "escape proof" crate! Its a gem! Easy to transport as it lays flat and easy to set up. My dog will likely grow to be a 50 lbs border collie but right now is about 14 lbs. I have set up the partition to give him 2/3 of the space and it is perfect for him. The double latch system provides security and ease of use. I've owned dogs for the last 40 years. I've used MidWest wire crates for my last 4 dogs. This iCrate didn't disappoint. It's sturdy and and easy to put up and take down. I use them when I travel with my dogs too. My dogs only use their crates for sleeping in at night or napping in during the day. During the day, their crate doors are left open. I close the dogs in at night. I don't have an issue with my dogs trying to escape from their crates, so I can't speak to whether or not this would be sturdy enough for a dog that's determined to get out of their crate. These crates are more than sturdy enough for my miniature Schnauzer, Havanese, and Wirehaired Pointing Griffon. All three of my dogs love their MidWest iCrates, as did my previous dog! They go in them voluntarily and when told to "crate up". My only concern with the current crate I ordered is that that one of the latches isn't lined up quite right so it's a bit tight when closing the crate door. I bent it slightly and it works much better. I haven't had that issue with any of the previous MidWest crates I've used. I'm a MidWest crate fan.Eddie09

The CleanView Swivel Rewind Pet Vacuum could have been the perfect but for the multiple poor design features. First let me state I am a huge Bissel fan. I've own many brands including Dyson and Ortec. The problems with this vacuum is it is very unbalanced and tips over often because the hose and extension tools are far too short. The self rewind cord should have been placed in the back not the side because you'll find yourself often rolling over it with the vacuum, getting it tangled in the wheels, or tripping on it yourself. You have to always face this vacuum with the cord towards the area your working to avoid this. The tool placement compartments are very tight and without a handle on the end of the hose is a little tricky reconnecting it to the base. I read the weight prior to buying, but because of the unbalanced design it's very difficult lugging this upstairs. But if you're like me and can sacrifice convenience for an exceptionally powerful vacuum that does an amazing job of cleaning ALL the dirt and hair from your carpet as well as removes the pet hair from the furniture and such, then I highly recommend this vacuum. If I were to buy one again I wouldn't get the refund feature because of the issues it causes.
I got this vacuum off a recommendation and did research. I am disappointed. I have mostly hardwoods with 2-3 small rugs, 3 dogs. It is very strong and has good suction but is cumbersome to use. Things I don't like: Heavy- my arm often gets tired after 20 min of pushing it around. Suction hose- it is wound very tight so when I vacuum things like my stairs, it doesn't stretch much, ends up pulling vacuum along behind you Accessories – I have some accessories I like to use (horsehair brush) but had to buy an adapter. Adapter is a pain and doesn't stay on good. I use that brush a lot so it is very annoying Positives- Suction it is very strong and has different carpet levels. For my hardwoods it is ineffective on the carpet setting, must be on 1 of the bottom 3 Lots of tools, some are great some are dumb. I like the green pet one, it's good for couch. Accessories do not clip on the vacuum well Easy to empty and clean
I've had this vacuum for about two months and I would never purchase again or suggest this product to a friend. I vacuum almost daily (farm family, 4 boys, two dogs and a messy barn yard) and I feel can give an honet review. To be fair, I do go through a lot of vacuums but this just don't measure up to previous brands and models I've had. I thought I would try it out because it comes highly recommended on the internet. When using the hand attachements, the unit constantly falls over when you try to pull it around. You can't reach up to the ceilings to get cobwebs without lifting the whole unit up in the air. The attachements never stay securly attached while vacuuming and always fall off the body of the vacuum. You can tell it's cheaply made. Flimsy and not sturdy at all. It's bulky and hard to get into tight spaces. I can not even fit it under my running boards in my kitchen or under my coffee table. Recently, the hose got clogged with pet hair/other debris, I took the whole thing apart and still could not reach the clog in the hose to get all the debris unclogged. Im shocked it got clogged within the first two months. The cord retraction rarely works. It never retracts the whole cord. I wouldn't waste my money on this product. I was disappointed because this vacuum comes with high praise, but for me personally, it just does not work well for my family and I can't recommend to others.

We bought this in April 2022 for our Rhodesian Ridgeback mix puppy. He was weeks old when we rescued him. He was a Parvo pup and barely survived, so rest and his own quiet space was highly recommended for recovery. We first used the divider which was great. However, as he grew, so did his strength. It definitely is not strong enough for large dogs. Even for short amounts of time. At the moment he is 6 months and 60 pounds. Thankfully he did not get out nor hurt himself! This harnass lasted exactly three minutes. I put it on my dog, adjusted it, and she chewed it for a second and it completely tore. The company acknowledges that it can not withstand even a quick nip from your dog. Ridiculously poor quality. Their answer is for you to spend another 12.99 for a warranty to get another harnass which will do the same thing. Awful product that is expensive. Dismissive and unethical customer service. I really like the product. The two connection points give me more control over my reactive dog. A few months after purchase I noticed some of the nylon was unraveling near one of the box stitches. I contacted the company and provided pictures and they replaced it right away. Great product and great service.
Just know that this isn’t a miracle product that will completely stop your dog from pulling. It’s not a replacement for training. YOU as the owner have to teach your dog proper leash manners. But if you want more control, or you have a reactive dog, I definitely recommend this.Rachel Cormier

Honestly this is the best pet carrier pet house combo I have ever seen! I wound up purchasing four of them two small and two medium. They fold completely flat in their own zipper bag so you can store them away easily and not have to find places for pet carriers when you don’t need them. However my pets really love them and like to be in them, so sometimes I even let them sleep in them, which makes it easy if you have to take them to the vet in them because they’re familiar with them. They are so light weight to carry, very well-made, And attractive looking. Because the canvas sides roll up and Velcro leaving mesh Windows, you can get airflow or privacy for your pet as you need. I purchased one of these many years ago, and took a pet to the vet in it, And got so many compliments them saying they just don’t make them like this anymore. I was so delighted as I searched for them online and found them again. I purchased Three more after having received the first one, so that should say at all. Congrats for a well thought out perfect product. For those of you who go camping with your pets it’s also great, it has stakes that hold it to the ground. I give it five stars! Worth every penny!
I have had this Petmate house for over a year now and I still think it is just fantastic. It's durable, sturdy construction, comfortable, easy to move and fold, and easy to clean. It is also very, very roomy inside. My dogs aren't chewers, so I can't say how it would hold up to an unwilling guest. The material seems heavy enough not to be scratched through. The pad is pretty soft and the fuzzy cover is easy to wash. One of my dogs really appreciated it as a quite, safe place to recover after having surgery. I thought everything was great about this popup dog crate until my little guy started eating the top part! It was foam so naturally I was worried about his digestive system. The zippers also stopped working here and there and over all we felt it just does not do the trick.chelsea.s

This is NOT for dogs that are already trained or have routines. This also isn't what I'd call any kind of toy. It is hard for the dog, very discouraging even for a puppy. I rated this good quality because it's not built with cheap plastic or put together flimsy but it just isn't any fun. I felt sorry for my dogs and took this back to the store. Also prepare that this is going to be time consuming.kstr0910
