We got this for our then 8 month old daughter because we have a real dalmatian that she absolutely loves. We got her this and it was an immediate hit. Our daughter is now 2 1/2 years old and still loves her dalmatian. The quality is unbelievable. She drags him throughout the house and bounces up and down on him (though we don't let her bounce or stand on its head, its a hard(ish) material that I'm afraid may crack with enough force). It covers his butt and stays put, we don't have to constantly pull it down for him. He loves his snuggly jumper; he is extremely short-haired so feels the cold a lot. We bought one in purple and one in blue and I'd absolutely recommend them. The only downside is we have a lot of prickles in the yard and when he wears it outside it picks up the prickles. We'll be buying him a less fuzzy one to wear outside and he can have these for pj's. They keep him warm, they are sized and fit well and he looks super dooper cute as well. I have wasted so much money on dog beds, from PetSmart to Costco to TJMaxx, etc. Our Goldendoodle would flip them over and rip the stuffing out – basically treating them as toys. She even demolished a Kong bed as a puppy. The Snoozer Overstuffed Luxury Dog Sofa was sort of a gamble for us, but I hated having her sleep on our hardwood floor with only a blanket. When the box arrived, I was first impressed with the heft and material of the bed. The seams are well-stitched and the actual bed is super heavy and sturdy. Here we are, a month later, and it still looks plush and brand new. Our Goldendoodle would never be able to flip this plush bed. She snuggles in it throughout the day. My daughter got this dog when she was 9 months old…she's now 6.5 and it's her "dog". They are super soft and fluffy initially, really cozy to snuggle with. The best quality stuffed animal we have ever encountered, as we find with all the jellycat brand stuffies. We have washed it several times and it's still going, although much less white, fluffy or well shaped – partly my fault as I didn't realize I should put it in a bag (I bought the Gund wash bag eventually and it's made a huge difference). We live in Panama City Florida and currently displaced from hurricane Michael and our black lab is kenneled due to our situation at the moment. My daughter has the most hard time being separated from our dog. She wrote a letter to Santa saying alk she wanted for Christmas was a stuffed animal that looked like her dog that she could cuddle with till we can find a home. I looked everywhere I could think of to try to finger her a stuffed animal that looked close to our Stella till I came across this online. When she opened this and seen what it was she cried she was so happy that she got this little puppy since the hurricane she only gets to see our dog in short visits. I received my order and once I opened it I saw it had a hole in it. It was never put together. I was going to return the item but saw there was an 18%restocking fee an it was based on your decision whether or not to refund my money. If no refund you still kept the item which is not right, so I kept my item and hopefully I can get it fixed. The costume is very soft but the quality of manufacturing is poor..Don’t think I’ll order again.
