This is a good toy for avid chewers. I got the smaller size and it lasted one day. It has two sqweeky things in it and there is a rope toy inside, so after my pup tore all the stuffing out, he still had a rope to play with. We have bought this product several times for our super chewer. She destroys any cloth-based toy, as well as pretty much anything with a squeaker in it, and this is no exception. However, we buy them because they are so cheap that we don't mind her destroying them. It will last maybe a week or two? In the first day, she will rip out both squeakers (they are two), and we'll be on the lookout for them so we can confiscate them for her safety. After that, she'll rip the limbs off and eventually rip it into tiny pieces to be disposed of. That being said, there is very little stuffing in this (I think only in the head?); there is ROPE inside. We throw away the stuffing as soon as its exposed, but the rope lasts a decent period of time (around two to three weeks, longer if you braid it periodically to preserve it). In the end, we have to clean up little scraps of fabric and rope by the time the toy is completely destroyed, and we wouldn't recommend this unsupervised for a dog that likes to swallow toy parts. However, it is a very fun toy for dogs to shred into tiny pieces, and it holds up a decent amount of time for the price. We will probably buy another in the next two or three monthsSuperToysPlease
Our 2 y/o German shepherd hasn't been able to have plush or soft toys since he was about 6 months old. He would saw them into shreds. The first thing he did when he got this was remove the ears. He must have done it quickly because I watch him and cut off the ears, arms, legs with scissors before he removes them himself. But he did it before I saw him. So first day the ears are gone. Then fox got a few rips in the bottom. But he's been playing with this for days and it is still pretty much intact. He squeeks it himself and sometimes carrys it around or falls asleep with it. Glad to finally have a soft toy for him that lasts longer than 30 minutes. My dogs love these. Not going to lie, when I first purchased these, I didn’t really understand how they worked. I would fill with treats then feel disappointed when it only entertained my dogs 10 minutes. I have since adopted a hyperactive Labrador; while researching ways to calm him down, kongs kept coming up in the blogs. I watched some videos on how to use them for training purposes and have learned how to stuff them in a way that keeps my dogs entertained for a long time. I use a combination of kibble, canned dog food, and other healthy food options, layer it all in the Kong, then freeze. My dogs are stupid excited to see me pull these out of the freezer. I always buy a size larger than I think I need to ensure my dogs don’t choke or get their tongues stuck and that’s worked out great. Very happy with these, we have about 12 of them. Be sure to replace it whenever there is damage. As I know a friend's dog had a piece of Kong stuck in his intestine and had to get surgery to remove it. It does have a rubber smell that is kind of annoying and it takes a long time to go away. If you’re sensitive to smell you might want to avoid this. It seems to smell the most like rubber when you wash it. It’s easy to wash. I use a little bit of dish soap and hot water to wash it after every use. You don’t have to use the Kong spray in this. I was so excited to see Kong had made a soft chew toy! I have probably bought about every single toy besides the two i bought today to add to their collection. Every kong I bought has incredible longevity. this toy he was the most excited about, he loves squeaky soft toys but literally runs through them in 2 minutes. and since it was made from kong, i had total confidence in the durability. boy was i wrong, i gave it to him 10 minutes ago and there’s already a hole in the top. In the future i hope the company reformulates the nylon for the most durable chewers! Great thought, just not perfected yet.hpett2
We have a 9 year old staffy X fox terrier who loves to chew and also throw toys around. We got this because we read how durable it was. However after a few months she'd managed to put a hole in it and the string stuff that comes off it is kind of dangerous if ingested… She swallowed a huge wad of string and we had to call the vet in fear of a blockage in her bowel… Just be warned and be careful and monitor your pet if they have a strong chew.Kara

My dogs love these. Not going to lie, when I first purchased these, I didn’t really understand how they worked. I would fill with treats then feel disappointed when it only entertained my dogs 10 minutes. I have since adopted a hyperactive Labrador; while researching ways to calm him down, kongs kept coming up in the blogs. I watched some videos on how to use them for training purposes and have learned how to stuff them in a way that keeps my dogs entertained for a long time. I use a combination of kibble, canned dog food, and other healthy food options, layer it all in the Kong, then freeze. My dogs are stupid excited to see me pull these out of the freezer. I always buy a size larger than I think I need to ensure my dogs don’t choke or get their tongues stuck and that’s worked out great. Very happy with these, we have about 12 of them. Amazing! Amazing at entertainment for my dog. Love how we can stick big treats in there and keep him busy whenever we have to leave the house. I think it's a must for training your dog. Be sure to replace it whenever there is damage. As I know a friend's dog had a piece of Kong stuck in his intestine and had to get surgery to remove it.
