When I say break down, I mean in ever sense. It starts to break off in pieces. Every time I clean the product, more peices fall off and it gets smaller and smaller. Basically, this product does not work. I learned that I should stick with what works and not take chances of cheaper off brand products. Even though the size of my other potty unit is less portable, it actually works! While I didn't love the smell of this, it fulfilled it's purpose. My significant other I adopted a puppy last summer, and her previous owner clearly made no effort to train her. The smell of this stuff is absolutely oppressive. Before we even opened the package we could smell it. It's like… stale horse urine that's been roasting in the sun. HOWEVER…. IT REALLY WORKS. We're training our puppy to use a small grass patch in our home with about a 25% success rate. Within 2 days of using this spray she used the grass patch 75% of the time. Also they have made fine quality dog whistles for control/behaviour, and also to command/direct/communicate with sheepdogs and working dogs. This product absolutely worked for my 6 month old puppy. Her previous owners had trained her to potty indoors exclusively on puppy pads, and as a result it was nearly impossible to get her to go potty outside. However, as soon as I sprayed this product on the grass, she tinkled immediately! And then she did two more times that same day in the same place. Very happy that I gave it a shot! I will say that It does smell terrible. I would recommend avoiding exposure to any shoes or clothing and storing it in a Ziploc bag after use. For me this was a small price to pay for results!LC2014

I bought 2 sets of bells. One for our 6month old wired haired pointing griffon who has been struggling with training. The other set I gave to my sister with a year old morkie. Our griffon was completely training within a week and a half. She had very few accidents after we initially started with them. Now it has been 2 weeks without any accidents.

I buy at least two bags every week for my 19 year old Jack Russell. Target raised the price $5 back in July, then it went back to $22.99. The product is perfect for my elderly pet, but not my wallet. I don’t understand the drastic $5 hikes. I could see $1-$2 realistically, but a $5 increase is the difference of buying a meal for some families who are just trying to keep their pets comfortable. If you are going to raise the price so fast, at least provide warning or a buy x get one free or % off option.Kim
