This is a well made dog bed. Easy to put together, very comfortable for my dog, stays cleaner than other dog beds, easy to remove and wash. I have a labrador retriever and initially got the large size, but exchanged it for the jumbo. The large size was a good size, but upon watching him sleep, i found out he likes to stretch out. Yes the jumbo size is very large and requires a lot of space in your room, but it is worth it to see him stretch out or curled up in his very comfy bed. A little pricey but he is worth it. I tried other beds and they are of inferior quality and won't last long. I highly recommend it. For your reference my dog is about 73 Lbs and measured 40 inches when laying down and lightly curled. Two dogs could fit in the jumbo bed if they decide to curl and lay next to each other. But not for stretching in a hot summer evening.Love Labradors 2
My 13 year old Lab was going for spirited 2 mile walks 4 months ago but alas, age it seems has finally caught up with my dearest and closest friend. I absolutely LOVE how this bed looks! The sizing chart was pretty spot-on (I know it's hard to offer dimensions on something that's not perfectly rectangular). My dog loves it and uses it all the time, but I wonder how many dogs would be wary of it since it makes "crackly" noises when they walk on it. It's easy to vacuum, too, which is huge in my book. It's very lightweight, which is fine, except if I didn't have it wedged up against a chair (on a rug) it would slide all over. My old girl is 13, and drags her feet, so when she'd try to get on it, it'd move and shift, so I moved it to a place where it will stay put for her. In some of the images online it shows the bed on hard floors; that bed wouldn't stay put for 2 seconds! Also, and this isn't the bed's fault: since I got the cowhide version, that means my oily German shepherd leaves oil marks on the white parts, so of course it needs to be washed far more often than someone without an oily-furred dog (e.g., my parents' golden). That said…it's starting to look more worn and "real" because of the change in color 🙂Sarah d.

I have this for my french bulldog in gray. I'll say that it is very soft and he does like laying in it but we've had it for ~3 weeks and he has already ripped into it and pulled out the stuffy which is certainly not safe for him. I sewed it up but it isn't really the type of material that you can patch up easily. It goes for ~$25 so if you have a dog that doesn't chew on things like his bed, then I would say it is worth it. Besides being soft for him, it is a nicer looking bed to have in my apartment. However, he has another bed from a different company that cost the same amount that he chews on way more and has no wear and tear yet. I purchased the green one with the Yorkie in it for my Yorkie about 5 years ago. We just had to put him down at 15-1/2. I was very excited to finally have a dog bed that based on reviews was spoken of as a pretty well lasting product. Love this dog bed. I have a 80lb lab and I bought the large. I thought that it looked small but I put it together it was fine. My lab loves it. The mesh bottom attracted me to this bed because he swims and lays down on his bed soaking wet. It dries quick and it’s easy to wash.Kristin
I am so glad that we got to try this cot out! I have two dogs, a Jack Russell and a chow chow. My dogs did not want anything to do with this dog bed the first day and a half. But then we got the idea to put a fuzzy blanket on it and now both my dogs love it! I can’t blame them for wanting a blanket though, because it is winter in Minnesota currently! My plan for the summer is to put this dog bed outside so I am very excited about that! I think this will be my dogs new favorite spot to lay and look outside. I feel like I needed to only give 4 stars because I needed to add a blanket before my dogs were interested in it, but I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a new dog bed/cot!
My dog loves this cot and I think it’s pretty great too, especially since she loves it. The only change I would recommend to the company though is for the stuffing in the bolster to be bagged so that the bolster cover could easily be washed. My dog loves her bolster, but when she gets drool on it, it’d be nice if the stuffing was self-contained inside to be pulled out easily for the cover to be washed quickly as it says it’s machine washable.Jerseygalrocker

The feral cat who lived in our backyard was always huddled in a ball trying to stay warm. I put a pillowcase over the heating pad and placed it on her favorite chair. This is our 3rd pet bed warmer from KH. We had an extra large one for our senior Lab who had chronic arthritis. We put it right on top of his orthopedic bed and he loved it. This new smaller one is for our cats. We put it on a shelf in the office and one of the 3 cats is usually laying on it. We also got the A Frame cat warmer which they love too. We put the A Frame on top of our bed and when we take it off the bed it leave a nice warm spot for us which is nice on a chilly night. I had the previous version of this pet bed warmer for over 5 years. This newer version seems to be a better quality and expect that it will last a long time also. The heater warmed up quickly to a comfortable temp when I placed it in my cat's winter sleeping bed. When the air outside is cold and crisp I know that kitty will be in his bed cozy and warm. My dog, my cats and I are all very pleased with this bed. My dog is about 20 lb and it is plenty big for her. She fell in love with it right away but will have to share it with the cats who also think it's wonderful. I'm not sure if I got the smallest size but if you wanted it for a smaller dog or for cats you could go to the smallest size and it would be okay. Very soft and plush, might be too warm in the summer, will have to see about that, although cats seem to like being hot! Very solidly crafted, not cheap and flimsy. Great price.Colleen
