This review is for the Dig Defence four pack animal barrier fence. This animal barrier is perfectly awesome for me to use around the bottom of the chicken coop wire to keep my dogs or critters from trying to dig under the wire into the chicken coop. It is extra nice quality, heavy duty metal fence sections. Each section is thirty two inches long and eight inches high and has a combined coverage area of over ten feet in length. I know this is mainly made to deter and keep dogs from digging under their yard fence but I intertwined the fencing legs in through the holes in my chicken coop wire and then drove it a little more than halfway into the ground to deter my dogs from digging at the chicken coop fence or any varmints. It is very easy to use and drives into even hard ground with ease with a small sledge hammer or any hammer will work. The legs, with two inch spaces between, are so thick and heavy duty, that they do not bend at all when driving them into the ground. I almost guarantee nothing will dig past these ground barriers as stout as they are.Ang03

These are just what I needed! My inside dog doesn't dig out when she is in the yard, she actually dug IN to come live with us as she was a stray and decided we looked like a good home, or maybe it was the tasty treats we fed her that enticed her to stay! Nonetheless, this keeps OUT the critters that love to come in my back yard (i.e. possums, raccoons, skunks, etc…) to eat the feral cat food I put out for my TNSR (trap, neuter, spay, release) colony. Our wooden fence has places that are worn away at the bottom, and these make a great barrier to fill in those gaps. The cats (and possums, I found out) can crawl over the fence unlike the skunks (they haven't learned yet, thank goodness! 🙂 I feel certain these would work beautifully for pets (dogs) that like to dig OUT of the fence, or try to squeeze through the bars of an iron fence. Just make sure you get the right size and drive them into the ground about 5", and you'll be good to go. Or stay! :O)siouxbee19

We have neighbors who don't seem to understand what a leash law means. It's not only annoying, but also gets our dogs (on their leads) sick from time to time. No, we don't keep our dogs out all the time, but do hook them up to a lead to use the bathroom then bring them back in. When the neighbor's dog does gross stuff in our yard, not only do we have to pick it up and dispose of it if we see it, we have to deal with our dogs smelling/rolling in/sometimes eating what the neighbor's dog leaves behind. (It's gross, but many dogs eat what other dogs drop.) These barriers are to the rescue. The back of our property has a fence that is not ours and therefor we can't maintain it. We can, however, add these strong no dig animal barriers on our side to keep the roaming neighbor dogs out of our yard. I have placed them in place without pounding them in yet so you can see the size. Because of the ivys growing near where I want the barriers I will need to put on long sleeves before installing them. Pros: Seem very strong. Seem very durable. The gaps are small enough to let smaller wildlife through while keeping out unwanted dogs. Heavy so dogs and/or other larger animals can't move them. Cons: None Suggestions: *Like many metals, there is a black residue on the metal. You will want gloves when installing (which should be worn anyway since dealing with metal–protects from unintentional scrapes) Overall I recommend these barriers! They seem like they will last quite a while, so I'm hoping they do.Homemaker

Love this little picket fence. Poles go in the ground, and the vinyl posts slide on them. Easy to install, and you can make it as long as you want by adding more sections. We just used the one to make a pretty focal point in the backyard. It will be beautiful with flowers growing on it. The birds have already discovered it.bkh

We are looking into getting a new fence for our back yard. I have looked at so many fences, but having to put it together by myself. I like that it is dig free. It seems pretty sturdy and durable. It was actually really easy to use.Ak

First off I was really surprised on the quality of the pieces. Super easy to put together- piece are marked and instructions were clear. Was very pleased with how it looks. What a nifty fence.Kilamaulena

Assembly was in 30 minutes. Great product we are using it by the pool steps to keep dog from swimming when we are not there. It does seem lighter than I thought so time will tell.Lynn

I absolutely love this fence. I needed it for my 2 new puppies and it was easy to put together (even though it was initially a bit intimidating). It is perfect for keeping my 2 shih-poos from going where they should not while also not looking intrusive.Carole

First of all they are a fake company that doesn’t exist. I tried ordering and it’s been exactly 3 months delivering this fake fence that never made the delivery and they say that they have it but wont ship ip out,it’s because they don’t have it in the first place but won’t deliver it. Obviously this fence is a hoax. Don’t waste your time trying to get this fence cause you will jave the exact problem like me, you will never receive it and all because they don’t exist ( WamBam ) fake company.harold martinez

The Wam Bam Fence is a no- dig job that is worth the time and will definitely spruce up any yard to add a little white picket fence! The job is probably more of a 2 hour task than 1 hour just because I has problems with putting in the inside posts. It definitely takes 2 people and since I was home alone I tried tackling it myself. The anchor posts to the fence is really easy and all you will need to do is basically hammer it into the ground. After adjusting the height and getting it just how I wanted it it’s going to look amazing. The anchor posts will keep the fence very secure there will be no problem with stability! Just remember to add all the screws and peices no matter how comfortable you feel! There are caps that will go over the side posts. The fence will be great. It is vinyl so it’s going to hold up in the weather and last a long time. There is no chance of it ever rotting or rusting! The wambam No-Dig Fence is a work in progress but it’s beautiful and matches my trellis that I put up last year .gghardin60

Wam bam fence was really easy to install and it is really easy to clean,by the time I finished installing this fence I had mud everywhere but it just wiped right off. This fence is beautiful and if I could afford it I would put it completely around my property. This fence feels strong and sturdy and I think it will last for a long time.I like the material it is made of and I like the way it brightens up the area.Ddot

I would have given a 5 star. I bought 9 boxes. Went into the ground great. Easy to put together. But when I got to the last box, I put up the one section but when I got to the last section. Two bottom rails were given. Not a top and a bottom rail. Now what am I supposed to domarcia

I needed a small fence to give my dogs a place to potty. We have a HOA that doesn't want certain fences. I read several reviews in different sites and some were negative, even saying they returned it before putting it together. What a same! The positive ones were very happy with their fence and it was probably because they did put it together and found how nice it was. This is very nice and the perfect size for my two fur babies to exercise in. I ordered a total of four and they look really nice. It only took a reasonable amount of time to put together. Of course I had an electric drill for the screws. Every screw hole lined up perfectly. If at first it didn't I flipped the post over and then the holes lined up perfectly. So glad I purchased and was not sueded by negative comments.mdean1952

The idea is good but in reality the ground has to be really soft for this to be a no dig fence. The spikes are hollow plastic and not strong enough to penetrate the ground without bending out of shape and if you hit a root or stone forget it. I found it helped to get a 1 1/2" drill bit and predrill the holes first. Secondly it is almost impossible to measure the holes and accurately get an exact fit so the fence lines up completely. I was out about 1/4" on about half the sections so had to widen the holes and then fill them back in to make fence solid again. A lot of work but the product does the job it was intended to do. A little flimsy and pricey for the quality and length.cruiserdude

My purpose for this fencing material was to attach a half height length to my existing wire fencing to contain a new puppy in the yard till she is larger and can't fit under the wire fence.J

(Note, I did not attach fence to ground with post, this was a wall to arbor installation)Fence was extremely easy to put together, and PVC material was sturdy and perfect for my use in fabricating wall brackets to attach to side of building and to existing arbor. Been a month with some storms and such and everything still looks new and secure without any maintenance.Arien

These accent fences are very sturdy & look beautiful with my cast iron aluminum lamp posts & solar lamps. I am receiving many complimentary comments from my neighbors as well as being pleased with the look & energy conservation. They were a little difficult to put together, but that is due to keeping a proper, tight fit, which is also a plus. I would highly recommend these accent fences. I have a pup that is a large breed, he looks like I been feeding him steak and potatoes cause he's so dang big. He is ALL puppy though. Chews on everything loves running around like a chicken with its head cut off. Been trying to train him to chill with me, yeah, right. He wants to play. And because he wants to play, he wants to run every stinkin where. Decided, for my sanity as well as his safety, I'd get this thing. Put the flags out, set it on a low static charge, and it didn't take long before he figured it out. You DO have to WORK a dog with this. It's not just a plug it up and watch their hair shoot up when they get popped. Walked him around the perimeter for 7 days, he sees and sniffs the flags. After that, I let him run around, and he got popped maybe 3 times, and figured it out. Now he's pretty dang happy, and I can let him rip around with zoomies while I work in the yard. He likes the freedom of being off leash in the yard, and like the fact that he's not road burger.SlimslowShady

I have a 2 yr old LARGE French Mastiff that weighs 180ish! I bought with the (red in color) “stubborn” collar. We previously installed a wired underground fence. (Which I have to mention took 2 FULL DAYS TO INSTALL AND READY TO USE!!) My Bo would realize he was close to the boundary, take a step or two back then take a run right through it, with no second thought!!! We watched him do this several times. I guess he was thinking, well this is going to hurt but only for a few short seconds. Idk?? But it did NOT phase him one bit! I had talked to 4 or 5 people that had this system, so reluctantly I decided to give it a try. I thought to myself well if it doesn’t work I will simply return it, no harm no foul. My boyfriend had it installed and collar on Bo in 30 mins flat. We walked ole hard-headed Bo around maybe 4 times to show him the boundaries. Once he heard the beeping, he kept walking then he felt the shock 1 time and that must have been enough because he never ventured close again! It has been about 2 months of use and I would give it 100 STARS IF IT WAS AN OPTION! We live in a subdivision where houses are fairly close. I was ultimately worried that the zone would lead into the neighboring yard. (which was the #1 thing we are trying to prevent) And although it may, Bo doesn’t even attempt to go that far. I believe he now understands to stay in his own yard! Living in a subdivision, many people take walks and Bo just sits and watches them now!! Matter of fact, just to see, we have sent him outside WITHOUT the collar and ironically enough HE STAYS IN OUR YARD!! The ONLY complaint I have is the small clear piece on the collar broke off the first time I went to adjust the strength of the shock. So far it hasn’t effected anything so fingers crossed on that! Just an FYI, we set ours on a level 3 to begin with and my boyfriend was ready to give up, so I told him to have some patience and we just kept adjusting the level on the collar and we ended up discovering for Bo he needed to be set on a #6. Again, I repeat he weighs 180 lbs, and the Mastiff bread is KNOWN for their stubbornness. I would suggest starting at the lowest level for a smaller dog PLEASE! But, if you are hesitant as myself, about this system just give it a try AND I PROMISE YOU WILL BE SO SURPRISED!!!!! I love this system, and just hope that it lasts!!!!!!Owner of French Mastiff

I have raised and bred German Shepherds for several years. Those who do breed know how destructive pets can be at breeding time. I know of dogs that have clawed and chewed through chain-link fencing. I bought this kennel system already knowing what consequences there could be. In giving this a 5 star rating I have to say it surpassed my expectations. Not a link was damaged and my pet remained secure and safe. I bought 4 extra panels along with the kennel deck. You can make this as big as you like and as you an afford to. The kennel was very easy to assemble, is sturdy, and has a nice wide door which can be opened in or out. I was disappointed that the door latch cannot be moved. I prefer to have the latch high up so the dogs can't reach it. If the latch isn't in the correct position, a dog can force it to unlatch, which actually happened with our old kennel. The top is not waterproof so our dogs would get wet when it rains. We had to buy a waterproof tarp to replace the top. We actually bought two kennels and joined them together to make one large kennel for our two dogs. I gave it an average rating due to the latch issue and the top which is not waterproof.Leonard

They are just the right height for easy cleaning. The panels allow me to add kennels when needed. I purchased Predator roofs for ultimate saftey of our animals that have access to their doggie doors at night and can just enter the kennel and do their business (Our property backs to a cattle ranch). My young puppies easily transitioned to these outdoor kennels after learnign to go on a potty patch. I also like the shade tarp that comes with. These are very reasonable.Cecilia
