The Fur Haven pet bed is better than I imagined. The cover is not the natty fleece that traps pet hair most similar beds are constructed of. Not as nice as I was expecting, but an okay dog bed–the "orthopedic" model really is just an eggshell material and not very thick at all. I think the dimensions are also slightly smaller than advertised–I measured my dogs kennel before hand and was worried the bed would be an inch too large, but it's actually at least 2 inches shorter than the kennel. The head rest part that makes it chaise lounge is filled with what feels like crumpled up news papers. This is a joke. Returning immediately. Also, the jumbo size is pretty small. There are so many companies that don't care about the health of their pets, but Furhaven certainly does! I got the cooling mat because she tends to run hot and it works really well! Not as nice as I was expecting, but an okay dog bed–the "orthopedic" model really is just an eggshell material and not very thick at all. I think the dimensions are also slightly smaller than advertised–I measured my dogs kennel before hand and was worried the bed would be an inch too large, but it's actually at least 2 inches shorter than the kennel. I ordered a Medium, and I'm pretty sure I got a Large. It's bigger than the Medium size bed, and since it's for my kitten, I'm really hoping he grows into it! I have this exact same bed in a medium size that I purchased years ago, and the foam in that one is a LOT thicker than the foam in the one I received from Groupon. I'm not sure if that's a change in production/quality by Furhaven products, but I do wish the foam was thicker, especially for such a large bed. My kitten seems to like it, so I'm keeping it, even though it's HUGE for him.
My two dogs, who are very particular about laying on blankets and pillows, both gravitated to this bed as soon as I put it out for them. They love the combination of the orthopedic bed with the soft and fuzzy plush covering on it and will stay there for hours, when they used to only curl up on the couch with a blanket with a human. Their immediate satisfaction with the bed was a very pleasant surprise and I cannot stress enough how picky my dogs are about where/what they lay on and how much they love this bed. I ordered this after my 60lb Golden girl refused to leave my sisterâs Goldenâs bed over the holidays. My sister told me where she got it and I ordered my girl one immediately! It is a nice thick bed with a very soft cover. I got the beige/cream color, which has a little bit more yellow tinge to it than Iâd like, but it still matches our home decor & her hair color the best out of the options. I got the Jumbo size which gives her plenty of room to sprawl out when she wants. I love that it has a little height on the sides for when she wants her head elevated. I havenât needed to wash it, but the cover does come off, so I know itâs an option (but canât attest to how well it holds up to a wash).CSally9

This is a super soft dog bed that seems well make. The reason I did not give it 5 stars is due to the sizing. We have two smaller dogs (9 lbs. and 14 lbs.) and I thought a large would hold both. My dog loves her new bed. Each night we help her under the cover and then we don't see her again until the morning. We have a 3 lb. Chihuahua and I guess he must stay cold ALL THE TIME, because he doesn't even sit with us without being covered up. As soon as you get him warm, he quits shaking and he knows how to get in and underneath any type of cover (sleeps under our covers at night). We left the plastic piece out of the bed and the top just lays over it like a blanket and he nuzzles his way underneath, and is covered up on his own. We had to turn the bumps down inside the bed so the smooth part is the part he lays on because he didn't like it before we did that. I bought two of these for my Rough Collie. He was about 70-75 pounds and very old. I needed something to keep him off the hard floor. He road 1500 miles in the back of my car on his bed and was super comfy the whole way! We had them in the bedroom and in the living room for him. He loved them a lot. We had them for close to 2 years before another dog decided to keep urinating on them. I was able to wash the covers easily but the foam was getting really stained and gross smelling.Raquel C.
So far this bed seems great. My favorite part is that it didn't have any foam odor when it arrived! Foam seems very high quality. _x000D_ My dog has not used it much yet but I have noticed the top and bottom fabric of the bed is a bit slippery. The first time my dog got on the bed his backside slide off the bed as the bed moved forward. I probably would have been better off with a bolster style and different fabric for him especially now that he is an advanced senior. I have two dogs, a mini-Aussie in this size range and a border collie slightly larger than this range. Both use the bed happily (never together). The fabric isnât showing any signs of wear. The egg crate is somewhat compressed, but still offers plenty of padding (I canât touch the floor through it). We own two of these exact beds (one is 4 month of use and the other less than a month). This is holding up nicely compared to many more expensive beds on the market. I have been very happy with our purchases.
