This bed cannot withstand HEAT. The first time you wash it do not wash in hot water or dry it. It melted and walmart only gave me half the money back because I couldn't find my receipt. Definitely got ripped off. It was a pretty and comfortable bed so as long as you don't wash or dry it should be fine.Lace
we ordered this online, but would've not bought it if seen in store. the velvet fabric is cozy, but overall it's just too thin. I'm about 110 lb and it's not comfortable for me to sit on. our 140 lb Mastiff sinks right to the floor. It's basically like a twin comforter folded in half–which is better than nothing. The areas where there is tufting have no padding and the floor feels so hard in those spots. Our dog's nighttime bed is a 54" toddler bed with an egg crate dog bed on top to avoid strain on his joints. We bought this bed for when he's hanging out with the fam in the living room. We were going to return it for another toddler bed (that's about the same price and waterproof), but it might have been a previous customer return because he sniffed a certain spot then peed on it. It washes well in the machine but drying is air dry only. So we now use it with a folded comforter underneath and a waterproof camping blanket on top–but its still not thick enough for a giant dog imo. We will probably still order the toddler bed and put this on top.G

My 54-lb Labradoodle loves this bed, and we do too. She hasn’t been able to chew it up, and eventually gives up after trying. She uses it quite often, so we think it’s comfy to her. We actually bought two—one for her crate (it fit her large crate perfectly) and one for the living room. The zipped cover makes cleanup easy (she has a sensitive stomach) and the inner pillows are only slightly difficult to get back in the cover. My miniature dachshund would give this bed 5 stars. He seems to settle in immediately when I put him on it (it's a little high so for his 3 inch legs to climb on). I only wish they made these snuggle beds with less of a crease around the inner circle. He will occasionally get his legs stuck in the crease and is unable to pull himself out because his legs sink so far into it.. BUT, I have other Bessie and Barnie beds and appreciate the quality of them all. This bed is soft and my dog seems to find it comfortable. It’s a good neutral color that blends nicely into my living room. The downside is that the cover cannot be removed for washing, but for the price, I guess I can vacuum the fur off and spot clean to make it last long enough. They advise this as a good size for large breed dogs, including Golden Retrievers (this is specifically listed on the packaging). My Golden is small for her breed – she was the runt of her litter – and this bed is just barely big enough for her (see pic). If you have a large Golden or other 60 lb breed, this “large size” bed may not accommodate them.CBTX
Got this bed a substitute in a pick up order. I allowed the substitute bc the reviews were good. I will be returning it now that I’ve seen it. The bumper edges are great and filled with a thick lining so they feel comfortable for a large dog. The actual bed part is very thin and my 60lb dog will basically be on the floor. You can wash the outside of the bed fan but the inside is a paper bag filled with chopped up foam that can't be washed. i dont about everyione but I'll bet there goes outside and gets stinky. why would you sell a bed without a serviceable liner in it. I am thinking about throwing the inside bag away and buying another bed from a dufferent company that i can put inside that can be washed. This probably isn’t the review you’d expect, but my daughter LOVES this bed. When she was a few months old, we went on a family vacation and in lieu of spending $180 for a DockATot, we purchased this instead. This bed has literally been her obsession since that trip. Any time she sees it (even when I bring it downstairs to wash), she starts panting like a dog and rushes over to try and lay on it. We used it past the vacation and put it into her crib at home. She’s 20 months old now, and we’re trying to transition her to a toddler bed, but she keeps tossing and turning all night because she loves this dang dog bed so much and her regular toddler mattress just isn’t good enough for her. I came here to figure out what the minky fabric is that covers this darn bed so I can buy a fitted sheet of the same/similar texture to try and appease her and figured I would leave a review while I was here. These beds are great quality. I have 2 springer spaniels that used to eat there beds. They also like to go out swimming in the ponds and come in soaking wet. Their current beds are 2 years old and when they get dirty I hose them off and they look great. No chew holes, but after 2 years i thought they needed some backups when they come in all sloppy. Great product at a great price
