It has two sqweeky things in it and there is a rope toy inside, so after my pup tore all the stuffing out, he still had a rope to play with. We have bought this product several times for our super chewer. She destroys any cloth-based toy, as well as pretty much anything with a squeaker in it, and this is no exception. However, we buy them because they are so cheap that we don't mind her destroying them. It will last maybe a week or two? In the first day, she will rip out both squeakers (they are two), and we'll be on the lookout for them so we can confiscate them for her safety. After that, she'll rip the limbs off and eventually rip it into tiny pieces to be disposed of. That being said, there is very little stuffing in this (I think only in the head?); there is ROPE inside. We throw away the stuffing as soon as its exposed, but the rope lasts a decent period of time (around two to three weeks, longer if you braid it periodically to preserve it). In the end, we have to clean up little scraps of fabric and rope by the time the toy is completely destroyed, and we wouldn't recommend this unsupervised for a dog that likes to swallow toy parts. Our 2 y/o German shepherd hasn't been able to have plush or soft toys since he was about 6 months old. He would saw them into shreds. The first thing he did when he got this was remove the ears. He must have done it quickly because I watch him and cut off the ears, arms, legs with scissors before he removes them himself. But he did it before I saw him. So first day the ears are gone. Then fox got a few rips in the bottom. But he's been playing with this for days and it is still pretty much intact. He squeeks it himself and sometimes carrys it around or falls asleep with it. I picked up one of these on a whim for an upcoming trip and it was probably the best toy we have ever purchased for our dog. She LOVES it. Our dog is moderately destructive to toys and a pretty big chewer, but this one is still going strong. She loves to play with it in the backyard and in the pool and it floats great (as long as the liner piece stays in). She also loves it for tug o' war and it has worked surprisingly well for that. I bought this a while ago. It arrived slightly misshapen and after complaining I was advised it would find its shape over time. It never did. It doesn't fly well and I can't get much distance on it. Otherwise it's big and tough enough that it can survive being pulled between two German shepherds, so it's good for that. This is a very good toy the dogs like to chew on it. It is made in the USA. It does NOT have any scent. It does NOT have any added flavor(in case you were wondering). It's strong enough for big dog, and gentle enough for small dog. BACKGROUND (if you care to read more) I didn't think much of it when I ordered it. For $5 and change, I'll pretty much try any toy. My dogs are huge and strong, and small and cute. They are rough on EVERY TOY. By comparison the only balls they have not destroyed are Chuck-its Everything else, ripped apart eventually (Kong bears are EXCELLENT, as are the Squirrel pup Tree house here on Walmart). Real bones have been issues, because they have gotten caught on teeth, sometimes splinter, are heavy (so when big dog drops them they can possibly harm small dog. Don't worry. We watch them carefully). So we started buying Bam-bones, and other fake bones instead. Note, we CANNOT use the Nylabone edibles. For some reason those get hurled back up for big dog and small dog doesn't do well with them (never had problems with other dogs and Nylabone.) My dog loves wood-tasting chew bones. These contain wood and are enticing and keeps the dog entertained. They don't wear down quickly. They're not as hard/tough on dog's teeth as antler bones. They don't splinter like some bones and don't come apart like rawhide. My dog chews only tiny pieces at a time; she basically gnaws on it rather than chews. She can take a rawhide apart in a few minutes, but these wood bones last a long time since she only gnaws on them. I like that they come in several sizes. The XS or S may be too small for small breeds, but my 9-lb. minpin chews the S or M size ones on her own. When I read that this toy was "better than a stick," I had to see for myself. Our Boston *loves* bringing sticks inside the house to chew on. Honestly, it was a bit of a pain to clean up after. This stick is a great alternative. While you're not supposed to let your dogs chew on it for an extended period of time, we find that it has just enough "crunch" to help her get her energy out before she moves on to something else. If she chews too long, we can swap out the toy no problem. Great item!Tom B.

Playology stuff has been hit or miss for us. One toy lasts a long time, the next is shredded within hours. This one was more on the latter side. Both of the dogs were interested in chewing on it, but within a couple days, I found bits of rubber scattered around their beds. The toy is now about half obliterated and hopefully they aren't' ingesting any of the small bits.tenlbham

I purchased this toy because it claims to be for power chewers and I liked the concept of the rings (seemed like it would last longer). However, my 1 year old pocket pitbull (like a mini pit) chewed through this on the first day within a number of minutes. Granted, she chews through about anything but this toy didn't seem as durable as the company claims. It may be wiser to purchase for a smaller dog, but definitely wouldn't recommend for medium/large dogs that are power chewers.pocketfullofpit
My puppy is in her "chewing stage" and this toy is prefect. Its not to hard and has bumps and rope to keep her focus on the toy instead of other things like shoes. Only thing is the tag on the rope did come off and she almost ate it. Which really scared me. But she loves it still able to play and use it.MiniDoodle
