My daughter got this dog when she was 9 months old…she's now 6.5 and it's her "dog". They are super soft and fluffy initially, really cozy to snuggle with. The best quality stuffed animal we have ever encountered, as we find with all the jellycat brand stuffies. We have washed it several times and it's still going, although much less white, fluffy or well shaped – partly my fault as I didn't realize I should put it in a bag (I bought the Gund wash bag eventually and it's made a huge difference). I would highly recommend this dog as compared to other friends/family's animals for how much *love* (read: snuggling, playing, pretending it's a catch toy, used as a pillow, etc.) this dog has gotten from my daughter it's held up extremely well and has no bare spots or worn out areas.sunshyneo8

We have found all L.O.L. surprise toys to be so overpriced and disappointing. This toy was just odd…the fur is stuck on with something like “re-stickable” tape. There is no way to position the fur back properly once removed…my daughter was really confused about the fur coming off and on and so was I.AMBER
My daughter is almost 5, and this was her first time opening an LOL toy. We had a blast unzipping the plastic wrap and trying to figure out how to open the ball together. She loved the glitter and every new piece that we opened was ridiculously exciting. The problem began when she actually started to try and play with the animal. The shoes didn't fit, the head popped off instantly, and some of the fur began to fall off. My daughter quickly declared that she didn't like the shoes and we needed to throw them in the garbage. She cried when the head popped off the first time, though I was able to easily pop it back on. After that, she figured she could play with it as long as she was gentle and still really enjoyed playing with the animal. This was a disappointment. Very tacky, horrible looking stuffed toy. It was suppose to be a stuffed Yorkshire Terrier, but it looked like a stuffed mess that wasn't worth a dime. It is hard for me to believe QVC would sell something like this. It was suppose to represent a yorkie puppy that was a surprise gift, but not due to be born until after Christmas. This stuffed animal looked so bad I could not bring myselt to use it in the surprise gifting. Hope I am able to get my refund, it's already February and I have not received a refund.Shastakitty
