I was actually shocked at how much it can hold. We use it to store extra toys, and our new puppy's favorite things like his blanket and a pillow he likes to cuddle with. This kennel looks great in your home. It’s much more decorative than a traditional crate. And for the price of why not? Well that’s easy. It’s not as functional as a traditional kennel. I read reviews before buying this, and a lot of those reviews stated that their dogs tore this kennel apart. But I thought my dog shouldn’t have a problem with that because she is crate trained. As a matter of fact she went into her old kennel willingly without anyone asking all of the time. It was her safe space I think. Never tried to break out. But the thing with this kennel is the material that it is made out of is weak and if you’re a pitbull, very soft. My dog chewed the bars out with ease and the fake wood was like bubblegum to her. I love this kennel because of the way it looks in my room but for how strong it is NOT, it is incredibly over priced.BrianaL02
I love the small "escape proof" crate! Its a gem! The price is great especially with free shipping! my chihuahua figured out how to escape from her other crate and caused a huge ruckus in the apt complex. I cant say just how much this crate means alot to me and the neighbors (elderly). My longhair, chihuahua absolutly LOVES it!! Thank you even more for a quick delivery from Fed Ex. There are so many awful crates/kennels out there! From the craptastically-made ones that double as end tables to the ugly, wiry kind… This Richell kennel is most excellent. The 4 wheels make it easy to move from room to room (and you can lock the wheels, too), assembly is easy, and the top opening is the best feature of all that I never thought about needing. This is a very solid, thoughtfully-designed, carefully manufactured crate for small and medium dogs–though I can't speak to how it would hold up to an obsessive chewer. Also great is that if you change your mind, just return it to your local Petco 🙂MCSZ
Beautiful and a roomy size for small or medium sized dogs. I've only had it for a while, but so far, very sturdy too. The tabs inside are great for pressing the edges of potty pads to keep them from scrunching up. The wheels are convenient, but unfortunately you can't lock all 4 and it slides on hard surfaces. The open doors are great also. I wish it had a slide out tray like the large black wire cages. It is hard to get yourself down and inside to wipe the floor of the kennel clean. Over all, it is attractive and comfortable for puppies and small dogs.selket
This crate is great! I have a recent rescue that is not fully housebroken. I needed a crate that I could keep in my living area that looked good and didn't take up a lot of space to use when I leave the house for more than an hour! He loves it. The wheels are great too as I can move it to another spot if I need to. Top access is great too because sometimes he doesn't want to come out! The material it is made of is the best I have encountered, better than wood or vinyl, etc. I got it on sale so it wasn't priced as high as some models. It is quite a bit more than a conventional crate, but, as I said, I have a lot more desk space. It is very attractive and decorative like furniture. It is like furniture. Love it. Use when I leave the house and bed time for my German Shepherd. I have received lots of compliments on it saying it fits great in the room and looks nice. 60 pound pitbull,\nHas escaped from everything known including front doors. \nHe's slightly crate-phobic. Ironically enough this is the only crate he's done the best in. This guy can break a caribiner off a cage, just about every time. This cage is between genuine heavy duty to medium crate. All panels bolt down w 2 bolts top n bottom, for a total of 4 bolts per side. Great crate! Large crate!
I would have rated the cage with 5 stars but unfortunately there were a few bends in the frame from shipping when it arrived. After carefully straightening that bends the cage is just what I wanted. It was already pretty much assembled you just had to unfold the sides, attach the wheels and top then tighten the bolts holding the sides to the bottom. The company might want to try to figure out a way to pack it thicker in the box to prevent the bends in shipping.Winddancers Papillons
